Gaza: Death toll climbs to 73,662 martyrs

The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7, 2023, has surged to 73,662 martyrs, according to the health ministry on Tuesday morning.

The ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 174,627 people.

In its daily report, the health ministry said that hospitals received three civilian bodies and five wounded people over the past 24 hours, while another victim succumbed to injuries.

Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 1,355 Palestinians have been killed, and 4,516 others have been injured.

Palestinian family massacred, several wounded in Israeli attacks in Gaza

A Palestinian couple and their two children were martyred on Thursday after the Israeli occupation army bombed their home in the Bait Lahya housing project in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to media sources, the bodies of four victims were brought to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City after an Israeli strike targeted the Ahmad family home.

Other residents were wounded, and search efforts continue for those missing under the rubble.

The four martyrs were identified as Moamen A'hmad, his wife 'Haneen Sali'h, and their two daughters, Lana, 12, and Bana, 8.

In a separate incident, a critically wounded person was admitted to Nasser Hospital after an Israeli drone strike targeted al-Tina street in northern Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

Several people were also injured today when Israeli armored vehicles and drones opened heavy fire on tents and shelter centers in northern Gaza’s Jabalya refugee camp.

Meanwhile, widespread military activity, including shooting incidents, artillery shelling, drone overflights, and demolitions, took place in other areas of Gaza, mainly in the north.

Palestinian martyred, others injured in Israeli strikes in Gaza

A Palestinian ex-detainee deported from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip was martyred and another citizen was injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting them in Gaza City on Wednesday.

The martyr was identified as Fara'h Hamid, who was exiled from Ramallah to Gaza as part of the 2011 prisoner swap deal. He was a commander of al-Qassam Brigades of 'Hamas.

According to media sources, Hamid was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a motorcycle in Gaza City’s Shaikh 'Ijleen neighborhood.

Meanwhile, Israeli aircraft destroyed a home belonging to the Abu Dalal family in El-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza, while medical sources at Al-'Awda Hospital reported that six people were injured in the strike.

Two other homes were bombed and destroyed in Israeli airstrikes today, one in El-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City and another near the Jordanian Hospital in Khan Younus in the south.

Other incidents of gunfire and artillery shelling were reported across multiple areas of Gaza.

Civil Defense crews in the Gaza Strip have recovered the remains of 12 Palestinians from beneath the rubble of two homes destroyed by Israeli occupation forces during the genocidal war, highlighting the scale of devastation as thousands of bodies remain trapped beneath the ruins across Gaza.

Seven members of the Nabhan family recovered

Civil Defense crews in central Gaza recovered the remains of seven members of the Nabhan family from El-Nusayrat refugee camp on Tuesday after completing search operations inside the family’s destroyed home.

Brig. Gen. Rami El-'Aydi, director of Civil Defense in central Gaza, said crews completed their search of the Nabhan family home after recovering the remains of those who had been missing.

The teams will now move to another destroyed home belonging to the al-War family, where the bodies of eight Palestinians remain trapped beneath the rubble.

Five bodies recovered from El-Zaytoun rubble

In Gaza City, civil defense crews recovered the remains of five Palestinians from beneath the rubble of the 'Ashour family home in El-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of the city, after it was destroyed by Israeli forces during the war.

Gaza’s Civil Defense said its crews will continue recovery operations on Wednesday at the destroyed Abu Zoar family home near El-'Hurriya School in El-Zaytoun area as part of ongoing efforts to reach bodies still buried beneath the rubble.

Thousands of bodies remain under the rubble

Search and recovery operations are continuing across the Gaza Strip. Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal said on Saturday that more than 8,000 bodies remain beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings in Gaza.

The scale of the tragedy was further illustrated on Sunday morning when Palestinians in Gaza City held a funeral for the bodies and remains of around 100 Palestinians recovered by Civil Defense crews from heavily devastated areas.

Palestinians gathered in El-Zaytoun neighborhood to bury the recovered remains. Local figures indicated that around 70 of those buried were children, underscoring the immense human toll of the war.

Major recovery operation underway

Gaza’s Civil Defense announced on Saturday the launch of a large-scale project to recover bodies from destroyed buildings, beginning with the Engineers Tower in El-Nusayrat refugee camp, which was struck on November 2, 2023.

Basal said more than 350 people had been living in the six-story building. Previous operations recovered around 150 bodies, while crews have now begun working to retrieve the remains of more than 150 others who are still trapped beneath the rubble.

As crews continue searching through the ruins of Gaza’s homes and buildings, recovering the dead is more than a rescue operation for Palestinian families. It is a final attempt to bring their loved ones home, give them a proper burial and end years of waiting for answers as Gaza’s rubble continues to conceal thousands of victims.

In recent days, heavy Israeli airstrikes hit crowded neighborhoods and homes across Gaza, reviving a brutal war tactic that turns residential areas into open fire zones and forces families to flee anew.

This Israeli escalation comes as Palestinians in the Strip endure severely harsh humanitarian conditions, with vast swathes of homes and residential infrastructure destroyed and hundreds of thousands of residents forced to live in tents and temporary shelters lacking the bare minimum for survival.

Over the past two days, Israeli strikes spanned most of the Gaza Strip’s governorates and refugee camps, targeting homes, buildings, and densely populated areas.

The impacts of these attacks are not confined to the buildings hit directly by missiles; the circle of destruction expands to damage nearby homes, tents, infrastructure, and services, leaving entire families faced with renewed waves of displacement.

However, these families have no guarantee that their next destination will be safe from strikes.

For repeatedly displaced families, relocation means being uprooted once again. Each change of location strips away their remaining belongings and social safety nets, leaving them without adequate shelter or basic access to food, water, and medical care.

UN warns Gaza aid stocks near depletion amid ongoing attacks, restrictions

The UN has warned that stocks of essential supplies in the Gaza Strip are running dangerously low, as Israeli forces continue carrying out strikes on populated areas, residential blocks, and displacement camps.

Recent Israeli attacks have resulted in multiple civilian casualties, damage to property, and the displacement of many families, leaving them without shelter and access to vital humanitarian services.

“Our humanitarian partners tell us that Israeli airstrikes and other attacks continue to hit populated areas, putting civilians at risk and causing damage to property. Yesterday, in Gaza, an airstrike hit a building in El-Buraij, an area near Dair El-Bala'h, near two UN schools that have been serving as temporary shelters for people who have been displaced, as well as a bakery supported by the UN,” UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in a press briefing on Wednesday.

“No injuries have been reported, but people in the area have alerted us about roughly 100 households who’ve lost their shelters and belongings,” Dujarric added.

“We and our humanitarian partners are assessing these needs and mobilizing rapid assistance, but teams warn that stocks of critical supplies are insufficient, both because of funding shortfalls and continued heavy restrictions on our partners’ ability to replenish those stockpiles,” the spokesman affirmed.

“We reiterate that civilians and civilian objects, including shelters and humanitarian facilities, must always be respected,” he stressed.

Gaza’s social ministry rejects Israeli narrative on food availability, citing skyrocketing prices and shortages

Gaza’s social development ministry has rejected Israeli claims denying the ongoing food crisis and widespread hunger in the embattled enclave.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the ministry said that using footage of food items in local markets to downplay Gaza’s humanitarian catastrophe presents a false picture of actual conditions.

“The presence of some goods in stores does not mean that food is available in sufficient quantities, on a regular basis, or at prices that residents can afford,” the ministry explained.

The ministry stressed that “true food security is measured by people’s ability to access sufficient, diverse, and sustained food supplies, not merely the presence of items on market shelves.”

The ministry pointed out that Gazans are overwhelmingly dependent on humanitarian aid, having lost their sources of income and the ability to buy basic needs. “More than 90 percent of Gaza’s population has lost their purchasing power, while more than 95 percent depend entirely on aid.”

The ministry held the Israeli occupation regime responsible for the deepening humanitarian crisis in the Strip, due to its ongoing restrictions on aid entry and its refusal to allow in 600 trucks daily as stipulated under the ceasefire agreement.

“Public complaints regarding a surplus of certain aid items alongside critical shortages of others require an urgent review by relief organizations, especially the World Food Program. This is necessary to ensure that the volume and types of aid entering the Strip align with the actual needs of the population,” the ministry said.

The ministry called on the media and the international community not to adopt the Israeli narrative regarding the food situation in Gaza, urging them instead to rely on field data and testimonies from local residents and humanitarian organizations operating inside the Strip.

El-Khaleel (Hebron) mayor rejects Smotrich’s sovereignty claims over the city and the Ibrahimi Mosque

Mayor of El-Khaleel (Hebron), Yousuf El-Ja'bari has rejected far-right Israeli minister Bezalel Smotrich’s sovereignty claims over the city and the Ibrahimi Mosque.

In a statement on Thursday, mayor El-Ja'bari stressed that “Al-Khaleel (Hebron) is an inherently Palestinian city and that the Ibrahimi Mosque is a deeply rooted religious, cultural, and historic heritage site whose identity cannot be changed nor stripped away by Israeli measures.”

“Al-Khalil belongs to its people, who were born in its alleyways, lived in its neighborhoods and carried its history from one generation to the next,” Ja'bari said.

The mayor’s statement came in response to recent remarks by Smotrich inside the Ibrahimi Mosque, following the completion of a project that roofed the compound’s courtyard and altered its historical and cultural features.

The Israeli occupation regime had previously stripped al-Khalil Municipality of its administrative powers over the Ibrahimi Mosque, transferring authority over the Islamic holy site to the military’s civil administration and settler groups.

Speaking from the site, Smotrich claimed that the Ibrahimi Mosque is the first sovereign property of the Jewish people, adding that al-Khalil City will be Jewish forever.

IOFs raid homes, kidnap several Palestinians in the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed different areas of the West Bank last night and at dawn Thursday, raiding homes and kidnaping a number of Palestinian citizens.

According to local sources, Israeli forces opened fire at a young man and kidnaped him in the central area of Jenin City.

In Tubas, the IOFs kidnaped two young men after ransacking their homes in the city.

In Tulkarem, Israeli forces kidnaped two young men following raids on homes in the towns of Qaffeen and Bal’a.

In Nablus, Israeli forces broke into and ransacked several homes in the village of Burqa and kidnaped at least three citizens.

In Bethlehem, a young man was taken prisoner after an IOFs vehicle chased him in the town of Teqoa.

The IOFs also carried out raids in other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed different West Bank areas last night and at dawn Wednesday, raiding homes and kidnaping a number of Palestinian citizens.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnaped four citizens during raids in Nablus City and the village of Tell.

In Jenin, Israeli forces kidnaped seven citizens, including two children, following raids on homes in different areas of the province.

In Ramallah, a citizen was taken prisoner following an IOFs raid in the town of Beer Zait.

In El-Khaleel (Hebron), , Israeli forces kidnaped two citizens after ransacking their homes in El-Fawwar refugee camp.

In Jerusalem, Israeli forces continued their raids in Shu'fat refugee camp and the town of 'Anata, north of the city, for a second consecutive day.

The IOFs also carried out raids in other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.

536 Israeli attacks targeting West Bank farmland, crops in 2026

Israeli occupation forces and settlers have continued targeting Palestinian agricultural land across the occupied West Bank through land bulldozing, crop destruction, tree uprooting and damage to farmland, inflicting direct losses on farmers and threatening their livelihoods.

According to data from the Palestine Information Center “Ma’ta,” Israeli forces and settlers carried out 536 attacks involving land bulldozing and the destruction of crops between the beginning of 2026 and the end of August.

August alone recorded 64 such attacks, accounting for around 12% of the total documented since the beginning of the year and averaging roughly two incidents per day.

The figures indicate that attacks remained at a high level throughout the first eight months of 2026, averaging approximately 67 incidents per month and placing sustained pressure on the Palestinian agricultural sector.

The damage extends beyond the loss of seasonal crops. Attacks have included bulldozing agricultural land, uprooting trees and destroying crops and other vegetation, compounding farmers’ losses and threatening their ability to continue cultivating their land.

The targeting of farmland also has consequences beyond immediate economic losses, as many Palestinian families depend on agriculture for their income and livelihoods. Repeated destruction of crops and trees undermines the long-term productive capacity of their land.

Declining agricultural production also threatens Palestinian food security, particularly as repeated destruction and bulldozing restrict farmers’ ability to access, cultivate and benefit from their land.

With 536 attacks documented in just eight months, Palestinian farmland across the occupied West Bank continues to face sustained attacks targeting not only individual crops or harvest seasons, but the land itself as a source of livelihood, agricultural production and Palestinian food security.

The figures highlight mounting losses for the Palestinian agricultural sector as farmers face growing challenges in protecting their land, crops and sources of income.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Aqsa Mosque under police guard

Hordes of extremist Jewish settlers escorted by police officers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards on Wednesday morning and later in the afternoon, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to local sources, 197 settlers entered the Mosque in different groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards today.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

Illegal Israeli Jewish settlers attack Palestinians, their property in the West Bank

Illegal Israeli settlers carried out fresh attacks on Palestinians and their property across the occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem last night and on Wednesday.

Israeli forces reportedly protected the settlers and used force to disperse Palestinians trying to defend their homes and property.

The Tubas governorate witnessed overnight attacks by groups of settlers targeting the outskirts of the city and Bedouin communities.

In the Yarza area of Tubas, settlers destroyed water pipelines, threatening the community’s main water supply, while others attacked residents of Khirbet Ibziq.

On the outskirts of east Jerusalem, armed settlers attacked El-'Hathroura Bedouin community, adjacent to El-Khan El-A'hmar area, in the early hours of Wednesday.

Those settlers assaulted residents, intimidated families, and chased local youths in a clear attempt to terrorize them and force them to leave the area.

Settler groups also stormed areas in Nablus, Qalqilya, and Ramallah, throwing stones at Palestinian homes and cars and vandalizing farmland and private property.

Water in the crosshairs: How Israel uses vital resource to reshape West Bank

Israeli attacks on Palestinian water sources in the occupied West Bank are no longer limited to demolishing individual wells or damaging water networks. They have become part of a broader policy aimed at controlling wells and springs and restricting Palestinian access to them, alongside expanding Israeli settlements and land seizures.

A series of recent incidents points to an escalation in the targeting of water resources. Jewish settlers seized a water well in El-Farsh area, between Khallat al-Hummus and Wadi El-Rakheem, south of Yatta in the al-Khalil governorate. Available data also indicates that settlers have taken control of around 10 wells in the area in recent months.

In the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished three artesian wells in the village of Atouf, which residents rely on for agricultural and daily needs. The IOFs also detained workers from the al-Khalil Rehabilitation Committee while they were rehabilitating water wells in the Old City’s Jaber neighborhood, while other wells have been demolished in Bait Ummar, north of al-Khalil.

The impact extends far beyond access to drinking water. Rural and farming communities depend on wells and springs to irrigate their land, raise livestock and sustain their livelihoods. Destroying, restricting or seizing these water sources therefore directly affects Palestinians’ ability to farm, graze their animals and remain on their land.

This comes amid expanding Israeli settlement activity across the West Bank, where the establishment of settlement outposts and construction of settler roads are accompanied by the seizure of Palestinian land and natural resources, including springs and wells. Elsewhere, Israeli military operations have destroyed parts of water networks, storage tanks and other infrastructure.

The stark disparity in water consumption between Palestinians and Jewish settlers illustrates the unequal control over this vital resource. Israel controls more than 84% of the West Bank’s groundwater and surface water resources. A Jewish settler consumes an average of around 247 liters of water per day, compared with approximately 80 liters for a Palestinian. In some Bedouin and herding communities, consumption falls below 15 liters per person per day.

These policies turn water from a basic natural resource into a means of pressure on Palestinian communities, particularly those heavily dependent on wells and springs. Every well demolished or seized reduces residents’ ability to meet their daily needs while undermining agriculture, livestock farming and other sources of income.

The struggle over water in the West Bank is therefore inseparable from the struggle over land. Control of water resources intersects with land confiscation, settlement outposts and the expansion of roads serving Jewish settlers, contributing to changes in the geographic and demographic conditions on the ground.

As wells and springs continue to be targeted and Palestinians face restrictions on maintaining and rehabilitating them, concerns are growing that control over water is becoming another instrument of Israeli settlement expansion and pressure on Palestinian communities, threatening both their livelihoods and their ability to remain on their land.

Urgent appeal issued to rescue displaced people ahead of rains in Gaza

As winter rains approach in Gaza, the shelter crisis is once again moving to the forefront of the dire humanitarian situation, with thousands of displaced families still living in makeshift tents and destroyed buildings that provide little protection from cold weather and rain.

Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) has issued an urgent appeal for coordinated local and international action to protect displaced families before winter sets in, warning that the fragile conditions in displacement camps pose a direct threat to the safety and dignity of vulnerable citizens, including women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities and health issues.

In a statement released on Wednesday, GMO director general Ismail El-Thawabta outlined a set of urgent priorities, including rain-resistant tents, tent insulation materials, blankets and winter clothing, and safe heating supplies, as well as the installation of drainage networks and pathways for rainwater runoff and the provision of hygiene and public health needs.

Additionally, El-Thawabta called for providing shelter management teams and humanitarian field workers with technical and logistical assistance.

He also called for using a needs-based system to prioritize vulnerable families and ensure aid reaches them before winter worsens.

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.
