Israeli occupation forces kill Palestinian family of four in Tammoun

Sunday 15-March-2026

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) cold-bloodedly killed a Palestinian father, his wife, and two children, after showering their vehicle with bullets in the town of Tammoun, south of Tubas in the northern West Bank.

The father also had two other children inside the car when the shooting attack happened, but initial medical reports said they were not injured. Local sources described the incident as a "massacre and cold-blooded execution."

According to the Palestinian health ministry, the victims were identified as 'Ali Bani 'Oadeh, 37, who was shot in the head, face, chest and left hand, and his wife, Wa'd Bani 'Oadeh, 35, who was shot in the head and face, as well as their two children, Mu'hammed, 5, and 'Othman, 7, who were also fatally wounded by shots to the head and face.

Media sources noted that one of the slain children had special needs.

The Red Crescent said that its ambulance teams received the bodies of four family members, including two children, adding that they were killed by IOFs gunfire inside a vehicle in the town of Tammoun.

Local sources reported that special units of the Israeli army infiltrated the town before reinforcements arrived through the Shibli and Tayaseer checkpoints. The forces then opened fire on the vehicle, killing the parents and two of their children.

The Red Crescent also said that its ambulance crews were initially blocked from reaching the scene despite receiving reports of possible casualties. Later, Israeli forces handed over two other children, who underwent preliminary medical checks that confirmed they were not injured.

Later, the Red Crescent clarified that Israeli forces prevented its crews from evacuating the victims from inside the vehicle and forced them to leave the site before eventually allowing them to transport four bodies from the scene.

In a related development, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped Ma'hmoud Bani 'Oadeh and his son Hasan after raiding their home in the town of Tammoun.

Several areas across the West Bank also witnessed IOFs raids at dawn. In Jineen governorate, Israeli forces stormed the towns of Qabatya and El-Yamoun, breaking into and ransacking several homes and interrogating young men.

In the southern West Bank, a 36-year-old Palestinian was wounded by IOFs gunfire in the town of Tarqoumiyah, west of El-Khaleel.

Security and medical sources said the man, from the nearby town of Bait 'Ula, was shot in the leg with live ammunition during his presence near the separation wall in Tarqoumiyah.

In the northwest of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), a Palestinian man was shot and his son assaulted by the Israeli police forces at the Bait Iksa checkpoint.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at A'hmed El-Sadr, 43, while he was near the checkpoint, wounding him with live ammunition. The nature of his injury has not yet been determined.

The sources added that soldiers also severely beat his 20-year-old son, Khaleel, during the incident.

Israeli crimes force Palestinian families to leave homes in the West Bank

Monday 16-March-2026

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Several Palestinian families from Bedouin communities were forced on Monday to abandon their homes under the weight of Israeli crimes and violations.

Sulayman Dawabsheh, chief of the Duma village council, reported that several Palestinian families were compelled to leave the hamlet of Khirbet El-Marajim, south of Nablus, after their exposure to armed threats from Israeli forces, who also imposed a complete closure on the area.

In the northern Jordan Valley, human rights activist 'Aarif Daraghmeh reported that two Palestinian families left Khirbet Samra and went to areas near Toubas due to escalating settler attacks, noting that only two families remained in the community.

Meanwhile, in Salfeet governorate, local sources said that extremist settlers returned to the al-Budoun area east of the city, setting up new tents and bringing more livestock.

Israeli forces also demolished structures belonging to a Palestinian citizen in the central Fasayil area of the Jordan Valley.

In a related development, El-Baydar Human Rights Organization reported that settlers seized the site of the displaced Abu Naja'h family in the south of El-Mughayir village, northeast of Ramallah, and established a new outpost there.

Meanwhile, in Masafir Yatta, south of al-Khalil, settlers released their livestock into Palestinian farmlands near residential areas, causing damage to crops.

Amnesty: Decision to drop charges against soldiers accused of abuse of Palestinian detainee disgraceful

Sunday 15-March-2026

GAZA, (PIC)

Amnesty International said the decision by the Israeli military prosecutor to drop charges against five Israeli soldiers accused of abusing and sexually assaulting Palestinian prisoners and detainees at the Sde Teiman military detention facility is disgraceful and entrenches a culture of impunity.

Erika Guevara-Rosas, Amnesty Internationa's Senior Director for Research, Advocacy, Policy and Campaigns, said the decision marks yet another unconscionable chapter in the Israeli legal system's long-standing history of granting impunity to perpetrators of grave crimes against Palestinians.

She added that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's welcoming of the decision illustrates the Israeli system's "unwillingness or inability" to prosecute crimes under international law, stressing the urgent need for international justice as the only remaining avenue for Palestinians.

Guevara-Rosas noted that the decision comes at a time when mounting evidence indicates widespread torture and ill-treatment, including sexual violence, against Palestinians held in Israeli detention facilities since the start of what the organization has described as Israel's "genocide" against the population of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Amnesty International has previously documented how Palestinians detained at Sde Teiman have been held incommunicado and subjected to torture and other ill-treatment.

According to Israeli NGO HaMoked, there are currently 9,446 Palestinians held in custody in Israeli prisons.

Rights group: Israeli prison transport vehicle turned into a "mobile iron coffin" for Palestinian detainees

Monday 16-March-2026

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

A Palestinian rights organization has warned that the Israeli prison transport vehicle known as the "Bosta" has effectively become a "mobile iron coffin," subjecting Palestinian detainees to severe suffering during transfers between prisons and courts.

The Palestinian Center for the Defense of Prisoners said in a statement on Sunday that the conditions inside the vehicle constitute a flagrant violation of humanitarian standards and international law, placing the lives of detainees at serious risk.

According to the center, transport journeys often last for long hours and can sometimes exceed 24 hours, during which prisoners endure extremely harsh and painful conditions.

Detainees are reportedly confined inside narrow iron compartments while handcuffed and shackled throughout the journey, with little regard for their basic human needs.

The organization also noted that repeated searches carried out during stops of the vehicle are frequently accompanied by humiliating practices and harsh treatment.

Because of the brutality associated with these transfers, many prisoners have refused to attend court hearings or meet their lawyers in order to avoid what they describe as "journeys of torment," the center added.

It further reported that several detainees have died during such transfers due to the harsh conditions, mistreatment, and medical neglect.

The center called on international human rights institutions to urgently intervene to halt the use of the "Bosta" under these conditions and to ensure that Palestinian detainees are transported in a manner that respects their dignity and fundamental rights.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
