By September 24, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 51,495+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (41,495), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+). 

By September 24, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 96,006.

By September 24, 2024, 719 Palestinians who were killed, 5,755 who were injured, and 10,887, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

"مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَٰلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا"  (الْمَائِدَةُ ، 5: 32).

"وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا" (النِّسَاءُ ، 4: 93).

"إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ " (الإسْرَاءُ ، 17: 7).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

"If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Israeli aggression affects dozens of Lebanese towns, villages

The Israeli occupation's aggression continues to inflict death and destruction on the Lebanese, with dozens of towns, cities, and villages hit by devastating airstrikes.

The number of victims from the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Lebanon has risen to more than 51, with 223 injured, the country's Minister of Health, Firas Al-Abiyadh said on Wednesday. These figures are preliminary, with the number expected to increase as the Israeli occupation continues its attacks.

Since the aggression on Lebanon began on October 8, the overall death toll has reached 1,247, with 5,278 injured, many of whom are civilians, including women and children. More than half of these casualties have occurred within the past three days as the occupation intensifies its operations.

The Israeli genocidal airstrikes have primarily targeted southern and eastern Lebanon, with a series of raids conducted on towns such as Kawthariyet El-Sayid, Toul, Kfar Seer, and Kfar 'Hatta, where a house was destroyed.

These attacks follow earlier bombardments of villages across southern Lebanon, including 'Udaissa, Al-'Hosh, Burj Al-Shamali, Majdal Zoun, Kfar Kila, Kfara, Yatter, Eastern Zawtar, 'Adloun, Mays Al-Jabal, 'Aita Al-Sha'b, Kfar Shouba, 'Haddatha, and 'Haris. Other areas impacted include Ras Al-Usta in Byblos, Al-Hirmil in the east, and Douris near Ba'albek, with two people injured in Ras Al-Usta.

More airstrikes hit 'Harouf, Al-Nasiriya neighborhood, Al-Mansouri, Al-Haniya, Al-Masakin neighborhood, Al-Abbasiya, Burj Ra'h-'hal, the outskirts of Mahrouna, the area surrounding the Lebanese-Italian Hospital near the southern entrance to the city of Soor (Tyre), Houmeen Al-Fawqa, Al-Marwaniyah, the outskirts of the town of al-Bissariyah, and the intersection of the town of Ma'raka.

Crisis management

As the attacks continue, many Lebanese are fleeing in search of safety. Health Minister Firass Abiad announced that a hotline (1787) has been established to address concerns and assist displaced individuals from 8 AM to 8 PM daily.

Teams from the Ministry of Public Health are visiting shelters to assess the health needs of displaced persons and to conduct epidemiological monitoring, especially after concerns of disease outbreaks like polio resurfacing in Gaza.

Medical services for displaced persons include "medications for chronic and acute illnesses, transferring patients who require dialysis to specialized centers, and transferring cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy to day treatment departments in hospitals. It is also tasked with providing cancer patients with the medications they used to receive from pharmacies by contacting the hotline 1787 or the dedicated number 1214 for cancer patients only, as well as following up on pregnant women," al-Abyad said.

Environment Minister Nasser Yassin, who also coordinates the government's emergency response plan, reported that 30% of displaced residents are currently housed in shelters.

He estimated the total number of displaced persons from southern and eastern Lebanon to exceed 150,000. He further highlighted the challenges in providing basic supplies such as mattresses and blankets due to shortages and price gouging, with the Ministry of Economy working to address these issues.

Despite the Israeli occupation's continued attempts to pressure Hezbollah, the Resistance remains active, expanding its operations into northern occupied Palestine and claiming precise strikes on Israeli positions.

Resistance undeterred by 'Israel'

Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc, emphasized that the Israeli occupation cannot control the outcome or duration of this war. He dismissed Israeli claims of significant damage to Hezbollah’s infrastructure, affirming that their missiles continue to hit their targets accurately in defense of Lebanon.

Fadlallah concluded by stating that "the Resistance is fighting this war with courage and wisdom," warning that the occupation "cannot impose new realities through its aggression."

Southern Beirut under fire after renewal of Israeli attacks on Lebanon

The Israeli occupation army continued to escalate its aggression on Lebanon, for the third consecutive day, launching raids on the Sa'diyat area south of Beirut at dawn Wednesday, as part of a series of attacks on several areas in eastern and southern Lebanon.

A Lebanese security source said that an Israeli airstrike hit the Sa'diyat area near Beirut at dawn Wednesday, a few hours after a raid on the southern suburb of the capital.

He added that the Israeli attack on Sa'diyat, which is located on the Lebanese coast 20 kilometers south of Beirut, targeted a warehouse with no material or human losses reported.

Al-Jazeera reported that Israeli warplanes launched raids on several towns in the Baalbek district in eastern Lebanon also at dawn.

According to the National News Agency, Israeli overnight attacks were extended to the city of Baalbek and its outskirts, leading to many martyrs and wounded in addition to the destruction of property including homes, factories, warehouses, stores, and even schools.

The windows of the houses surrounding the targeted areas were shattered as a result of the force of the attacks, it added.

The Israeli air force also launched raids targeting the Al-'Hameela area near Houmin Al-Fawqa in Iqleem Al-Tuffa'h region, and the vicinity of the towns of Midoun and Sahmar in the western Biqaa', east of Lebanon, causing electricity cut off in the Mashghara plain.

HRW says Israeli attacks on Lebanon killed hundreds, calls for international probe

Human Rights Watch (HRW) has warned that Israel’s attacks on Lebanon put civilians at grave risk of harm, calling for an international investigation into the recent hostilities.

“More than a thousand Israeli strikes across Lebanon that have killed hundreds of people and injured thousands since September 23, 2024, are placing civilians across the country at grave risk of harm,” HRW said today, Wednesday.

“The UN should urgently establish, and UN member countries should support, an international investigation into the recent hostilities in Lebanon and northern Israel and ensure that it is dispatched immediately to gather information and make findings as to violations of international law and recommendations for accountability,” HRW added.

“The Israeli military killed hundreds of people in Lebanon in just one day; thousands have been injured and forced to flee from their homes, and hundreds of homes, businesses, and farms have been destroyed” Lama Fakih, Middle East and North Africa HRW director, said

“It is paramount for Israel and Hezbollah to comply with the laws of war to minimize civilian harm,” she added.

The Israeli occupation army on September 24 claimed that it struck more than 1,600 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. Lebanon’s health ministry said on the same day that the attacks killed 558 civilians, including 50 children and 94 women, and injured over 1,835, while damaging “hospitals, medical centers and ambulances.”

Tens of thousands of Lebanese people have since been displaced, according to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

On September 17 and 18, thousands of pagers and two-way radios exploded across Lebanon, killing at least 37 people, including children and medical workers, according to Lebanon’s health ministry. US officials and others affirmed at the time that Israel was responsible for the attacks.

UN chief: World cannot afford Lebanon to become another Gaza

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned member states about Lebanon “becoming another Gaza” amid escalating tensions with Israel.

Highlighting the “epic transformation” that the world is facing, Guterres addressed member states during the opening of the 79th UN General Assembly at New York headquarters on Tuesday.

“Our world is in a whirlwind. We are in an era of epic transformation — facing challenges unlike any we have ever seen — challenges that demand global solutions,” said Guterres, adding that “geo-political divisions keep deepening.” The UN chief said that “wars rage with no clue how they will end.”

He underscored the threat of nuclear posturing and “new weapons cast a dark shadow.”

“We are edging towards the unimaginable, a powder keg that risks engulfing the world,” he said.

Guterres grounded his speech in two key realities: that the current global state of affairs is “unsustainable” and the challenges facing the world are “solvable.”

“The level of impunity in the world is politically indefensible and morally intolerable,” he stressed, lamenting that many governments feel entitled to disregard international laws, human rights conventions and UN resolutions.

“They can invade another country, lay waste to whole societies, or utterly disregard the welfare of their own people. And nothing will happen,” he said, noting that the “impunity” can be seen in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and beyond.

On the Middle East, Guterres observed that “Gaza is a non-stop nightmare that threatens to take the entire region with it. Look no further than Lebanon.”

Saying all states should be “alarmed by the escalation” between Lebanon and Israel. He said, “Lebanon is at the brink.”

“The people of Lebanon, the people of Israel, and the people of the world cannot afford Lebanon to become another Gaza,” he said.

He denounced the collective punishment of Palestinians, reiterating his demand for an immediate cease-fire and the start of a two-state solution.

“The speed and scale of the killing and destruction in Gaza are unlike anything in my years as secretary-general. More than 200 of our own staff have been killed, many with their families,” he said.

The number of people killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th, 2023, has surged to 41,495, the majority of whom are children and women. Some 96,006 others have been wounded.

Thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams are facing difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks, the massive amount of debris and the shortage of fuel and heavy equipment.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 355

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 355 on Wednesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and shelter centers and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

According to media sources, a woman was martyred and other citizens were injured in an Israeli attack on a house in Khirbet Al-'Adas area in Rafa'h, south of Gaza.

Another Israeli attack on a house in Block 7 of Al-Buraij refugee camp in central Gaza claimed the lives of six citizens.

Earlier at dawn, the Israeli army bombed a house belonging to the family of Al-Attar in Bait Lahya, north of Gaza, killing one civilian and injuring others.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

On Tuesday, the directorate-general of the civil defense service mourned Mohamed Ahmed, one of its fire truck drivers in northern Gaza, saying he was martyred in an Israeli genocidal airstrike on his apartment in Al-Tawam area.

Four Palestinians killed in Israeli genocidal airstrikes in Gaza

Four Palestinian citizens, including two women, were killed and several others injured this evening in Israeli airstrikes targeting the central and southern regions of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the fatalities occurred when Israeli warplanes struck a home in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, east of Rafa'h, in the south of the enclave.

Simultaneously, seven people sustained injuries from another airstrike on a house in the New Camp area of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 41,495 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 96,006 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

An Israeli genocidal airstrike on Rafa'h kills a Palestinian mother and her four children

GAZA, September 25, 2024 (WAFA) –

An Israeli genocidal airstrike Tuesday evening killed a mother along with her four children near the city of Rafa'h in the southern Gaza Strip, according to eyewitnesses.

They said that Israeli fighter jets targeted a house belonging to the Abu Jazar family in Al-Nasr town, northeast of Rafa'h, killing a mother along with her four children and injuring others.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 41,467 Palestinians and injuring over 95,921 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

A Palestinian young man was pronounced dead at dawn Wednesday after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained last night when the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed Al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

According to medical and local sources, 29-year-old Ye'hya 'Awwad died of a critical bullet injury in his chest when Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Fawwar refugee camp last night and opened fire intensively at local youths, amid raids on homes.

Three other young men also suffered moderate bullet injuries during skirmishes with Israeli soldiers in the camp.

The slain young man has a one-year-old girl child and his wife is pregnant with a second kid. He works for the al-Khalil municipality.

Consequently, Palestinian factions have called for participating in a general strike in Al-Fawwar camp in mourning for martyr 'Awwad.

IOFs kill a Palestinian woman, injure four others in Jineen

A Palestinian woman was killed and four others injured, including a child and an elderly woman in critical conditions, in Israeli occupation forces’ (IOFs) shooting in 'Anza village in Jenin on Wednesday afternoon.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 32-year-old Zuhoor Qasim 'Amor was killed in the IOFs raid on 'Anza village.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its crews transferred a martyr and four injured persons including an elderly woman, 73, in a very serious condition.

It added that a 9-year-old child was hit in the head and her condition is critical while a youth was suffering from a serious injury in his jaw.

IOF soldiers raided the village amid indiscriminate shooting, killing the woman and wounding four others before arresting the young man, Mu'hammed Barahma.

Moreover, the IOFa rounded up five young men in Jineen City on Wednesday night and blew up a house in its refugee camp.

IOFs besiege two hospitals in Jineen

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed on Wednesday morning Jineen City and its refugee camp and laid siege to hospitals.

According to local sources, a large number of Israeli troops with their vehicles besieged the hospitals of Jineen and Ibn Seena in Jenin City.

The Israeli forces reportedly searched ambulances at Jineen Hospital.

There are no reports of arrests during the IOFs raid in Jineen.

The Israeli occupation army undercover unit kidnaps two Palestinians in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

An Israeli occupation forces undercover unit kidnapped on Wednesday two Palestinian youths in the village of Mara'h Raba'h, south of Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to security sources.

Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces disguised in civilian clothes broke into the said village and detained two youths, whose identities remain unknown until the moment.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap, severely assault sister of slain Palestinian southwest of Jineen

Jineen, September, 25, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces today kidnapped the sister of slain Palestinian, Nidhal Al-'Amer, at the Dotan military checkpoint near Ya'bad, southwest of Jineen.

The occupation forces assaulted and beat up Malak Al-'Amer at the said checkpoint, before detaining her. Malak was on her way home in Jineen.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces further detained a student from Palestine Ahliya University at the southern entrance to the town of Al-Khadir, south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

Security sources said that the occupation forces stationed at the Nashash military checkpoint detained the student, Ru'a 'Oada Darabi, 21, from the town of Doura, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), after stopping the vehicle she was traveling in and forcing the passengers out.

Forces briefly held the passengers, searched the vehicle and checked their ID cards.

Over 10,900 Palestinians kidnapped in occupied West Bank since October 7, says prisoners institutions

RAMALLAH, September, 25, 2024 (WAFA) – 

The Israeli occupation forces kidnapped at least 20 people, including former detainees, in the occupied West Bank during the last 24 hours.

The Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission and the Palestine Prisoners Society said in a joint statement that the detention operations took place across different governorates in the occupied West Bank, accompanied by widespread raids and abuse, assaults and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to vandalism and destruction of citizens' homes.

The 'Hamas official, Abdul Ra'hman Shadeed, on Wednesday called for mobilization at Al-Aqsa Mosque to block the implementation of the Jewish Temple Groups’ Judaization plans aiming at holding festive ceremonies on the occasion of Jewish holidays at the Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards next month.

He stressed the need to confront the Israeli occupation forces and settlers, to thwart their Judaization plans, to defend Al-Aqsa with all available means and protect it from Israeli schemes, noting that Israeli occupation authorities are constantly trying to impose temporal and spatial division at the Mosque.

Settler groups as well as the alleged temple groups are preparing for a series of incursions and violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque in October which is considered a season of Jewish holidays.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque is expected to experience the most aggressive season during the Jewish holidays in the period October 3-24.

Israeli occupation forces blow up house in Jineen, kidnap five Palestinians

Jineen, September 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening blew up a house and detained five Palestinians from the occupied West Bank city of Jineen, according to WAFA correspondent.

She said that as part of their ongoing aggression on the Jenin city and camp, the occupation forces rounded up five young men from Al-Jaberiyyat neighborhood and detonated a house.

Earlier today, the occupation forces barged their way into the city, besieged the Ibn Sina and Jenin Government Hospitals, and inspected ambulances on their way into and out of the hospitals.

Escorting bulldozers, the forces razed several streets in the vicinity of the Khalid Bin Al-Waleed Mosque and ravaged infrastructure in the vicinity of the local municipal playground as well as in the eastern and Al-Almaniya neighborhoods.

The gun-toting soldiers raided the Jineen refugee camp, deploying troops and stationing army vehicles in several neighborhoods, at a time when the troops broke into several houses in Al-Sumran neighborhood, conducted thorough searches and flew drones over the neighborhood.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Armed illegal Israeli settlers storm Palestinian community near Aree'ha (Jericho)

Armed illegal Israeli settlers Wednesday evening stormed the 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat community, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Jericho,

'Hasan Al-Mulai'hat, supervisor of the al-Baidar Organization in Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that a number of armed colonists barged their way into the community and grazed their livestock on the community fodder crops.

The colonists roamed the community all the way to the 'Arab A-Ka'abna School to provoke the residents.

He added that colonist assaults against the community were part of the Israeli occupation's ongoing policy of detecting Bedouins’ sheep as a prelude for stealing and displacing the community to make room for colonial expansion.

According to the Applied Research Institute of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat come originally from Negev; people of this area were forcefully expelled to live in different places of the West Bank due to their nomadic nature.  In the mid-eighties, people of Al-Mulai'hat were sent out from the Al-Irqa area to Maghair al-Dair, which is only 7km away from it, claiming the area  a military closed zone by Israel.

'Hamas demands ‘immediate action’ from UN to end war in Gaza

The 'Hamas Movement said in a statement addressed to UN chief Antonio Guterres Tuesday it expects “immediate action” to end the Gaza war.

“We demand immediate action to stop the Israeli aggression and the war in the Gaza Strip and the flagrant violations in the West Bank and Jerusalem,” Hamas said.

“As you begin the 79th regular session of the UN General Assembly, we write to you to confirm the statements you have made previously, namely that the war in Gaza is causing horrific human suffering, destroying people’s lives, tearing families apart, and leaving huge numbers of people homeless, hungry, and traumatized. The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has exceeded the level of a catastrophe due to the barbaric Zionist aggression.”

“We urge you to step up efforts to provide immediate food, medicine, clothing, and shelter supplies to our steadfast people in the Gaza Strip by opening the crossings and directing relief efforts. This is especially important in light of the resolutions adopted at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which emphasize the importance of leaving no one behind and cooperating to advance peace, sustainable development, and human dignity for present and future generations.”

“Do not abandon the Palestinian people; instead, do everything within your power to maintain security and stability in Palestine and the surrounding area. You should also take the necessary steps to protect Palestinian rights in line with the principles and values outlined in the United Nations Charter and earlier UN resolutions, setting an example for future advancements toward international peace.”

The Movement also hailed the role that “the UN has played in helping to put an end to decades of persecution, massacres, and occupation of our Palestinian people, as well as the creation of an independent Palestinian state, the return of refugees, and the role that the UN has played in helping to stop injustice and aggression against them.” The most recent example of this was the adoption of a resolution by the UN General Assembly on September 18, 2024, which called on Israel to cease its illegal presence in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Movement emphasized the UN’s demand that “this terrible war must end,” explaining that “from the outset of the aggression, Hamas has been eager to put an end to it and shield our people from the occupation’s genocide. It has also worked closely with the mediators, demonstrating great positivity, and participated in numerous rounds of negotiations, but has always been met with the occupation’s stubbornness under Netanyahu’s fascist government.”

The Movement confirmed what it has presented since the beginning of the aggression in its three-stage vision, which calls for a ceasefire, prisoner exchange, lifting the siege, achieving Palestinian reconciliation, forming a comprehensive national unity government, and engaging in a comprehensive political process based on relevant international resolutions to end the occupation, establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and return refugees.

On the other hand, Hamas held the Israeli government and its allies fully responsible for the failure of the ceasefire negotiations, stressing it stands firm in its “position against entering new negotiations that would provide (Israel) with cover to continue its aggression.”

Borrell calls on UNSC to play its role in stopping the war on Lebanon

European Union’s foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has urged the UN Security Council to shoulder its responsibility and put an end to Israel’s recent military escalation against Lebanon, which resulted in hundreds of casualties, mostly civilians.

“The death toll of Israeli strikes in Lebanon is alarming. The latest figures say over 500 casualties, with 50 children among the victims,” Borrell said in remarks on his X page on Tuesday.

“The Security Council has to play its role. We urgently need to halt the path to war. Both sides need to implement an immediate ceasefire,” he added.

Last Monday, Borrell described Israel’s attacks on Lebanon as almost a full-fledged war. “This situation is extremely dangerous and worrying. I can say that we are almost in a full-fledged war.”

“If this is not a war situation, I don’t know what you would call it,” he told reporters, citing the growing number of civilian casualties and the intensity of Israeli military strikes.

The Israeli occupation army launched an intense barrage of airstrikes across southern and eastern Lebanon on Monday in what was considered the deadliest day for the country since the outbreak of cross-border clashes with Hezbollah on October 8 last year.

To date, the recent Israeli airstrikes claimed the lives of nearly 570 people and injured over 1,800 others, according to Lebanese health authorities.

'Hamas: ProPublica’s report confirms US complicity in the Israeli war of genocide in Gaza

The 'Hamas Movement said on Wednesday that the report issued by the American ProPublica website about the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s deliberate concealing of truth on the starvation of the Palestinian people in Gaza, confirms the complicity of the US administration, and his president Joe Biden personally, in the war of genocide.

Hamas added in a statement that the ProPublica’s report indicates that Blinken sought to conceal the truth before the Congress about Israel blocking aid entry into Gaza, over concerns that it would affect weapon supplies to the Israeli army.

Hamas called on international judicial institutions, most notably the International Criminal Court, to take these reports seriously and take legal action against Blinken, as a participant in the deliberate starvation and genocide war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

USAID memo exposes Blinken's involvement in starving Palestinians

Blinken has ignored the recommendations of US humanitarian agencies and advisors in favor of presenting "Israel" as complying with US aid missions.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the State Department's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration have said that "Israel" is blocking humanitarian aid heading to the Gaza Strip. 

In a 17-page memo sent to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in April, USAID told top US diplomats that US law requires the administration to cut off weapons shipments to governments that prevent the delivery of US-backed humanitarian aid. The refugees bureau also delivered a similar evaluation. 

If acted upon, the assessment would cause tremulous changes to the Israeli regime's supply of weapons, as the US delivers the majority of weapons through which the regime carries out its aggression. 

According to ProPublica, both Blinken and the administration of President Joe Biden refused to accept the conclusions reached by the two US agencies. 

"We do not currently assess that the Israeli government is prohibiting or otherwise restricting the transport or delivery of US humanitarian assistance," Blinken said on May 10 to Congress, after receiving the reports. 

Crimes, recommendations ignored 

USAID's memo also highlighted a series of grave actions by the Israeli regime, including the killing of aid workers, the destruction of agricultural infrastructure, the bombing of ambulances and hospitals, the occupation of supply depots, and the frequent rejection of trucks carrying vital food and medical supplies.   Moreover, the head of the State Department's refugees bureau determined that the Israeli regime was blocking humanitarian aid and that the Foreign Assistance Act should be triggered to stop nearly $830 million in taxpayer dollars allocated for military aid to the Israeli occupation, according to ProPublica, which cited emails it had obtained.

Stacy Gilbert, a former senior civil-military advisor in the Refugees Bureau, resigned in protest over the wording of Blinken’s report to Congress, which she had been helping to draft. In a statement released shortly after her departure, and reported by The Washington Post and other outlets, she wrote, "There is abundant evidence showing Israel is responsible for blocking aid. To deny this is absurd and shameful."

Hamas: Blinken, Biden's actions are shameful

Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas released a statement, commenting on ProPublica's report on Wednesday. 

Hamas condemned Bliken and Biden's deliberate concealment of evidence of "Israel's" non-compliance with US aid missions during his addresses to Congress. 

The movement said that Blinken did so, in complicity with Biden, "Out of fear that it would impact weapons supplies to the occupation's military."

It said that the revelations serve as evidence of Washington's involvement in the genocide of the Palestinian people. 

"This criminal conduct by Blinken demands that honorable members of the US Congress and American judicial bodies investigate his actions, which have led to the deaths of thousands of our people," Hamas underlined.

"We call on international judicial institutions, foremost among them the International Criminal Court, to take these reports seriously and take the necessary legal action against Blinken," the movement urged. 

'Hamas stressed that Blinken had participated in the deliberate starvation and the genocide of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip through his actions.

Palestinian Health Ministry halts procedures to receive bodies of 88 martyrs until the completion of their data

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that it has halted procedures to receive the bodies of dozens of martyrs from the Israeli occupation army until it discloses information on their identities.

The ministry said in a statement on Wednesday, “With the arrival of a container containing approximately 88 bodies from the Israeli occupation, with no data or information indicating their names and the locations where they were killed, the Palestinian Ministry of Health halted the procedures to receive the container until the completion of full data and information about these bodies so that their families can identify them.”

The Ministry of Health called on the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to carry out its duties in accordance with the internationally applicable protocol regarding receiving and delivering bodies of the dead, with full data and information about each body in terms of names, ages, and the locations from which these bodies were recovered.

It also stressed the necessity of receiving the bodies according to humanitarian and international standards and in a manner that preserves the dignity of the dead.

The ICRC received this morning the bodies of the martyrs from the Israeli occupation army which had previously taken them from different areas of the Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Government Media Office (GMO) condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli repeated, deliberate, and intentional violation of the dignity of the bodies of the martyrs, in a manner that violates international law, and sends a message of disdain for international law and marginalization of the legal procedures followed in preserving the dignity of the dead.

In a statement, the GMO held the Israeli occupation and the US administration fully responsible for this inhumane crime, calling on the international community, all international and UN organizations, and all countries of the world to condemn it, and to pressure Israel to stop the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people.

Discovery of bodies of slain Gazans held by Israel is evidence of crimes against Palestinians - Official

RAMALLAH, September 25, 2024 (WAFA) -

Raw'hi Fattou'h, the Speaker of the Palestinian National Council, said the discovery of the bodies of over 80 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip and Gaza hospital's refusal to receive them because of the lack of information regarding their identities and the locations from which they were recovered, is evidence of Israel’s brutal crimes.

He stressed that the hospitals’ refusal to receive the bodies of 80 slain Gazans from the Israeli side due to the lack of sufficient information is clear evidence of the brutal crimes committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

 In a statement issued by the National Council on Wednesday, Fattou'h stressed that the Israeli government is intensifying its killings and executions of Palestinians, all the while the international community remains silent.

Fattou'h urged the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to take immediate action regarding the severity of these crimes, highlighting that hundreds of citizens in Gaza have been abducted and executed, either through physical and psychological torture or by gunfire.

UNRWA: Over 625,000 children in Gaza suffering from severe psychological trauma

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said today that more than 625,000 deeply traumatized school-aged children are living in the rubble in Gaza.   The agency said in a statement on X platform that, in the meantime, many children in the West Bank are exposed to escalating violence that negatively affects their lives and education.

UNRWA confirmed that Palestinian children in Gaza and the West Bank have suffered heavy losses since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza nearly a year ago.

The UN agency noted that even before the war began, most families in Gaza were facing great difficulties in providing food for their children.

It said 12 months into the war, there has been a noticeable increase in cases of malnutrition, diseases and related deaths.
