While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Two people killed in Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon

Monday 2-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Two Lebanese citizens were martyred on Monday in an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese health ministry said that a drone attack hit the car in the border town of Al-Naqoura early Monday, but did not provide information about the identities of the victims.

Separately, the Israeli occupation army claimed that it had carried out overnight airstrikes on “military buildings” belonging to Hezbollah in different areas of southern Lebanon.

In response, Hezbollah fighters launched projectile attacks on 12 Israeli targets in the occupied areas of the Galilee and Kfar Shouba Hills.

Khaleel Al-'Hayyah: 'Hamas is not interested in negotiating Netanyahu’s new terms

Monday 2-September-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

The member of Hamas political bureau and the official in charge of the negotiation file, Khaleel Al-'Hayya, said Hamas is not interested in negotiating Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s new conditions, reiterating that 'Hamas’s decision is clear namely that it abides by the July 2 proposal.

In an interview with Aljazeera TV on Sunday evening, al-Hayya confirmed that Hamas was not involved in the technical committees that “are said to continue discussions without reaching anything,” reaffirming the Hamas’s position stipulating for “no agreement without the Israeli withdrawal from the Philadelphi and Netzarim corridors and the Rafa'h crossing.”

Al-'Hayya added, “In May, we agreed on the mediators’ proposal, but the Israeli response was storming Rafa'h and its crossing. We then accepted the Israeli document presented by the US President Joe Biden and adopted by the Security Council, and we only provided inquiries, but Netanyahu responded by manipulation and procrastination by adding new terms including remaining in the two corridors and refusing to release Palestinian elderly prisoners sentenced to life.

He added that “Netanyahu wants to continue the war” and does not want to pay a real price for the exchange deal, ignoring the file of the Israeli prisoners in Gaza, noting that “Netanyahu turned a blind eye to the flexibility we showed about the number of our prisoners supposed to be released daily according to the deal.”

Al-'Hayya noted that the US administration “wants an agreement and is optimistic, but does not want to pressure Israel,” holding it responsible for disrupting the negotiations, which, he said, “is no longer real, but mere procrastination and waste of time.”

UNRWA Commissioner-General: 70% of the agency’s schools in Gaza destroyed

Monday 2-September-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that more than 70% of the agency’s schools in Gaza have been destroyed or damaged.

Lazzarini stated in a post on X on Monday that the majority of UNRWA schools have become shelters crowded with hundreds of thousands of displaced families and cannot be used for education.

Due to the internet outage, pictures are being published for the first time of horrific scenes following an Israeli bombing that directly targeted the displaced inside one of the UNRWA’s schools during the past few days.

He added that more than 600,000 children in Gaza, half of whom were in UNRWA schools, are suffering from severe trauma and living under the rubble, deprived of education.

The ongoing war of extermination on Gaza for the 11th consecutive month has destroyed the entire educational system, and placed hundreds of thousands of students in all basic and higher education levels, facing an unknown future.

Earlier, Fareed Abu 'Azra, the Director General of Education at UNRWA, reported that two-thirds of the UN agency’s schools were bombed by the Israeli occupation army, while 197 of its employees were martyred.

He stressed that what the students lost cannot be compensated for and will greatly affect their academic achievement and personal development, and the possibility of increasing the rate of school dropouts, delaying academic progress, exposure to the risks of child labor, early marriage, and the deterioration of the child’s concepts of human rights and shaking his sense of belonging to his identity.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has led to the martyrdom of more than 40,738 citizens, the injury of 94,154 others, and the displacement of 90% of the population of the Strip, according to UN data.

Health Ministry reopens reception and emergency department at Al-Shifa medical complex

Monday 2-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has reopened the reception and emergency department at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, following months of the complete destruction of the medical complex by occupation forces.

Dr. Mahir Shamiya, the assistant minister of health, said on Monday that the department, which includes 70 beds and an operating room, in addition to 10 intensive care beds and other services, has begun receiving patients and providing its services. Treatment services for “kidney and heart” patients will be restored soon.

This comes after the Israeli occupation forces completely destroyed the Al-Shifa Medical Complex during the current aggression on the Gaza Strip.

At the beginning of April, the Israeli occupation army withdrew from Al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza after about two weeks of besieging and storming the complex, leaving behind hundreds of martyrs and missing individuals, as well as extensive destruction of buildings.

The complex suffered destruction and devastation in all its sections, especially in the specialized surgery building, where the occupation forces destroyed medical equipment and burned the complex’s halls. After the army withdrew, filmed scenes showed charred bodies of martyrs in the streets and roads surrounding the largest medical complex in the Gaza Strip. Medical sources reported finding mass graves and hundreds of bodies of martyrs in the complex and the surrounding streets.

Al-Shifa Complex was established in 1946 during the British occupation of Palestine and came under Israeli occupation in 1967, then under Palestinian Authority control after the Oslo Accords. Over time, it has developed into the largest medical complex in the coastal enclave, comprising three specialized hospitals and employing 25% of healthcare workers in the entire Gaza Strip.

'Hamas: Israel’s targeting of journalists is state-sponsored terrorism

Monday 2-September-2024

Jineen, (PIC)

'Hamas Movement said on Monday evening that the Israeli occupation army’s shooting attack on journalists today while they were covering the Israeli military operation in Jenin represents state terrorism-sponsored aimed at obscuring the truth.

'Hamas said in a statement, “The Israeli occupation army prevents journalists from fulfilling their duty in conveying the suffering of the Palestinian people and the brutal crimes committed by the Nazi occupation government.”

The Movement praised the brave journalists in Gaza and the West Bank for insisting on covering the aggression, despite the violations and crimes they are exposed to including the martyrdom of dozens of them.

'Hamas called on international press institutions to condemn the repeated Israeli crimes against Palestinian journalists, and to exert efforts to expose them by all means possible.

Earlier today, Israeli army opened fire on press crews in the city of Jineen, north of the occupied West Bank, and chased them with bulldozers, as part of its ongoing operation for the sixth day in the city and its camp.

The Israeli military aggression and invasion of the city and refugee camp of Jineen continues for the 6th consecutive day, coinciding with raids and storming of citizens’ homes and blowing up some of them, in addition to forcing citizens to flee their homes inside the camp.

For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the number of martyrs who have been killed in the Israeli occupation’s raids on the West Bank has, since last Wednesday, reached 29 martyrs and 121 injuries, 18 martyrs in Jineen, four in Toubas, four in Toulkarm, and three in Al-Khaleel.

The Ministry of Health revealed that the death toll in the West Bank governorates have risen, since October 7 last year, to 681 martyrs, including five children and two elderly persons, and about 5,700 wounded.

Palestinian prisoner dies from torture in Israeli jail

Monday 2-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

A Palestinian prisoner from Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, died from torture he endured at the Sde Teiman detention center, family sources revealed on Sunday.

The Al-Khawaja family said that the Red Cross informed them of the martyrdom of their son, 'Arafat Al-Khawaja, who was tortured to death last February in Sde Teiman prison.

Al-Khawaja’s death brings the total number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees killed in Israeli jails since 1967 to 262, whose identities have been revealed.

Since the start of the Israeli genocide war on Gaza on October 7, the Israeli army has arrested hundreds of Palestinian citizens from the Gaza Strip and held them in the Sde Teiman detention center.

ýPalestinian civilian Ayman 'Aabid dies under torture by the Israeli occupation forces

ýRamallah 2-9-2024 Wafa - Maan Rimawiý

ýAs soon as the Israeli occupation forces raided the house of Ayman 'Aabid (58 years old) in Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, they beat him in a brutal manner in a separate room, handcuffed and blindfolded him, and took him out of the house walking on foot, and heading him to Salim military checkpoint... There was the crime.ý

ýAll the family had in mind at the time was that it was a detention that could take several hours, an intimidation interrogation and perhaps beating, as happened at home, in order to pressure his wounded son Osama to turn himself in... He returns home safely, but the shock is heartbreaking.ý

ýThe occupation not only beat him at home, but also assaulted him again in a brutal manner in the detention center at Salim military checkpoint, until he rose as a martyr, and after completing the crime, he handed over his body at the checkpoint to the Red Crescent.ý

ýAccording to the initial medical examination of the martyr Abed, the traces of handcuffs were evident on his hands, and the effects of beatings and torture on his body, which confirms that he was martyred as a result of being beaten and tortured, especially since according to his family, he did not suffer from any serious or chronic health problemsýý.ý

ýAyman, the brother of the martyr's wife, told "Wafa" that the occupation forces raided the martyr's house in the middle of the night, and tied him up and detained him in a separate room for two hours, where the occupation practiced against him types of physical torture, and beatings in a brutal manner, in addition to psychological terrorism and the threat to assassinate his son Osama, and later transferred to Salem checkpoint, where he was martyred in the hands of war criminalsýý.ý

ýThe martyr Abed is the father of two detainees detained by the occupation: Islam has been detained for about two months, and he has a disability in his foot as a result of an injury he suffered, and the other is I'hsan, who has been detained for about a year and a half, and the wounded Osama, and he also has a father (14 years old), two daughters (12 years old), and (30 years old), according to the Prisoners' Club.ý

ýAyman continued: "We thought that the occupation would release him after interrogation, as he always does, but he returned to us as a martyr.ý

ýIn turn, the director of Al-Haq, Shawan Jabbareen, told Wafa that the occupation is trying to show its criminality and terrorism in a brutal and unprecedented way, especially since it was assaulted while handcuffed, and this is a crime added to the crimes of the occupation that are committed without any legal face, and should not pass like any other crime, all of which are political goals to break the will of our people, and try to endanger personal security, which is rumored this period, and the occupation deliberately does it clearly.ý

ýHe pointed out that this crime comes within an official framework, not the individual behavior of a soldier, and what is happening comes within the framework of collective punishments, which are a grave violation of international law in the Geneva Convention, and the Fourth Geneva, and require accountability and prosecution, stressing that neither legal, nor customary or moral rules allow anyone to be punished for something committed by another person, but this is the occupation, it has nothing to do with either the law or human values.ý

ýHe explained that the crimes committed in the West Bank are an extension of what is happening in Gaza in terms of genocide, and what is being done gradually extermination, where there is displacement, targeting, killing and liquidationýý.ý

ýHe added: It is important for the family to autopsy the body of the martyr, benefit from the medical report issued on the manner of death, and send it to the occupation court, and all competent international bodies, and prosecute war criminals for trial, and justice for the victims, and the signs of torture and beatings that the martyr was subjected to are a clear indication of his rise as a resultýý.ý

ýWith the martyrdom of the detainee Abed in the occupation prisons, the number of martyrs among the prisoners and detainees announced after the seventh of October rises to (25) martyrs, who are only announced and whose identities are known, while the occupation continues to hide the identities of dozens of martyrs among the ranks of detainees who rose in prisons and camps, and there is no final and accurate number for their numbers until today, in addition to detainees who have been subjected to field executionsýý.ý

Euro-Med: The Israeli army continues to escalate its attacks on the Gaza Strip during the polio vaccination campaign

Monday 2-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Israel has continued its military attacks on the Gaza Strip during its polio vaccination campaign, ignoring all calls to implement a humanitarian truce or a temporary halt to attacks during the vaccination hours, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said in a statement issued on Sunday.

The report pointed out that the Israeli aircraft and tanks continue to bomb the central Gaza Strip, the area where the polio vaccination campaign has begun.

The campaign is a joint effort between the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the United Nations, including UNICEF, and non-governmental organizations, aiming to vaccinate about 640,000 Palestinian children under the age of 10. The campaign was launched in response to the confirmation of the first case of polio in Gaza in 25 years, contracted by a 10-month-old infant in Dair El-Bala'h, in the central part of the Strip. The virus was found in water samples taken in Khan Younus and Dair El-Bala'h in late June.

Despite the World Health Organization’s announcement last Thursday that Israel had consented to a series of “humanitarian truces” lasting three days each in the central, southern, and northern sections of the Strip in order to carry out a polio vaccination campaign that would benefit 640,000 children, Israel has continued its attacks.

Palestinian Rami Rashad Noafal has been killed, and several other Palestinians injured, during an Israeli air strike on Al-Buraij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, which was also the target of artillery shelling and at least three raids, the report reads.

Together with shooting from Israeli vehicles that broke through the northwest of Al-Nusayrat and from quadcopter aircraft, Israeli artillery also shelled the west of the new camp in Al-Nusayrat, in the central Gaza Strip.

“Along with the ongoing shelling in various parts of the Strip, these Israeli military attacks have coincided with the peak of families’ movement with their children towards the designated vaccination centers. Some of these attacks have even targeted locations near the vaccination center, endangering the progress of the vaccination process that is required to stop the poliovirus from spreading among Palestinian children in the besieged enclave.”

“Following its initial attacks, Israel is still targeting Palestinian clinics and hospitals where Palestinians are supposed to go for children’s vaccinations. The most recent incident took place at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City on Saturday 31 August, leaving three Palestinians killed and numerous others injured.”

Euro-Med called on the international community to pressure Israel to immediately cease its military assaults in order to guarantee that the polio vaccination campaign is carried out as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

It also held Israel fully responsible for protecting the lives and safety of Palestinian children from the virus, as this crisis is primarily the result of the crime of genocide it has been committing against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since 7 October 2023, which includes the destruction of basic infrastructure and the health sector, repeated forced displacement, and deprivation of all elements of human life, in addition to the ongoing arbitrary and comprehensive blockade.

Meanwhile, director-general of the World Health Organization, Tedros Ghebreyesus, said that “the best vaccine for Gaza’s children is peace.”

This came in a post on the “X” platform, saying that children in Gaza started receiving much-needed polio vaccines on Sunday.

Jineen, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army’s siege on Jineen City and its refugee camp entered a sixth day on Monday, leaving Palestinians without access to food, water, power or internet.

Since last Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army has been involved in a large-scale military operation in the West Bank that resulted in the killing and injury of several Palestinian citizens, including civilians, and massive destruction to public and private property.

Meanwhile, the Red Crescent said on Monday that one of its ambulance crews received from the Israeli army a martyr’s body at the military checkpoint of Salem in western Jineen.

Local sources identified the martyr as 50-year-old Ayman Abed, a father of two prisoners, saying he was kidnaped from his home in Jineen at dawn today.

Israeli occupation forces reportedly stormed Dair Abu Dha’eef village in eastern Jineen and kidnaped two young men and another one from Al-Yamoun town.

Last night, a young man was martyred in an Israeli drone attack in the town of Silat Al-Harithiya in the Jenin governorate. He was the 17th person killed by Israeli occupation forces since the military operation started in the West Bank.
