While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Number of martyred Palestinian journalists has risen to 173

Monday 16-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the number of journalist martyrs has risen to 173, since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

The PGMO said in a press release that the number of journalist martyrs increased following the death of colleague journalist 'Abdullah Shakshak, who worked with several Arab media outlets.

It condemned the targeting and killing of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation army, holding it fully responsible for committing this heinous crime.

The PGMO called on the international community and relevant international organizations involved in journalism worldwide to deter Israel and pursue it at international courts for its ongoing crimes, and to pressure it to stop the genocide and the killing and assassination of Palestinian journalists.

Israeli occupation forces continue their genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, on land, sea, and air, since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 41,206 citizens and injuries to 95,337 others, in a non-final tally, as thousands of victims remain under the rubble.

'Hamdan: Gaza will only be governed by Palestinians

Monday 16-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Member of 'Hamas’s political bureau Osama 'Hamdan said on Sunday that his Movement wants “joint Palestinian rule” if the war comes to a halt in the Gaza Strip.

“The day after the battle is a Palestinian day. We went to Beijing where we negotiated as Palestinians and agreed on forming a national unity government to manage the Palestinian affairs in Gaza,” 'Hamdan told Agence France-Presse during an interview in Istanbul.

'Hamdan said the US administration, Israel’s most prominent military supporter, was not doing enough to pressure Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu to put an end to his genocidal war on Gaza.

“The US administration does not exert sufficient or appropriate pressure on the Israeli side. Rather it is trying to justify the Israeli evasion of any commitment.”

'Hamdan highlighted that Hamas’s armed wing still has a high level of ability to continue fighting the Israeli occupation army despite the casualties and losses sustained over more than 11 months of war in Gaza.

“There were martyrs and there were sacrifices … but in return, there was an accumulation of experiences and the recruitment of new generations into the resistance,” 'Hamdan underlined.

Commenting on Yemen’s last missile counterattack on Israel, the Hamas official said the attack, which was carried out by the country’s Ansarullah group, showed the limits of Israel’s anti-missile systems.

“It is a message to the entire region that Israel is not an immune entity,” he said, stressing that “even Israeli capabilities have limits.”

Khan Younus Municipality issues warning for displaced Palestinians, regarding the dangers of their tents remaining in low-lying areas as winter approaches

Monday 16-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Khan Younus Municipality issued a warning on Monday to the displaced individuals in certain areas of the city regarding the dangers of their tents remaining in low-lying areas as winter approaches, along with the expected rainy weather entering the Gaza Strip this week.

In a press statement, the municipality clarified that the rainwater collection pool located north of the Al-Amal neighborhood, the temporary sewage treatment basins in Al-Mu'harrarat, and the temporary rainwater collection pool at the end of 'Omar Al-Mukhtar Street, known as number (5), along with all low areas, are extremely dangerous places.

The municipality urged displaced individuals in those areas to leave immediately and seek a safer location, noting that staying in rainwater collection pools poses a risk to their lives and safety.

Khan Yunis Municipality emphasized that it is making every effort to mitigate the risks associated with weather systems, despite limited resources and capabilities, in cooperation with various institutions, neighborhood committees, and different entities.

Two days ago, the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip issued an urgent humanitarian appeal to save two million displaced individuals in Gaza before it’s too late, coinciding with the arrival of weather systems and the onset of winter, along with its harsh climatic conditions and the deterioration of the displaced people’s tents.

It was noted that 74% of the displaced people’s tents have become unfit for use, according to government field assessment teams, which reported that 100,000 tents out of a total of 135,000 need urgent replacement due to their deterioration.

As winter approaches, the need for humanitarian assistance to protect the displaced from the cold and rain becomes urgent, amid international calls for swift aid delivery, while civil defense teams warn of imminent rains during September.

Five out of six bakeries in northern Gaza forced to close, amid warnings of imminent famine

Monday 16-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Kamil 'Ajjour, a bakery owner from Gaza, has warned of an imminent famine in northern Gaza Strip as the ongoing Israeli blockade has forced five out of six functioning bakeries in the area to shut down.

“Five out of six bakeries in northern Gaza have shut down due to Israel’s blockade on the entry of fuel and raw materials needed to produce bread,” 'Ajjour said.

“Our bakery is the only one still functioning in the area and is likely to close within a week if Israel continues to block the entry of fuel and essential supplies,” he added.

'Ajjour emphasized that fuel has not been delivered to bakeries in northern Gaza for 10 days, noting that “the supply of critical ingredients such as flour, sugar, and yeast has been significantly reduced for nearly a month.”

This would lead to a severe bread crisis if the only remaining bakery, which is the largest in Gaza with four production lines, halted operation in northern Gaza, he underscored.

'Ajjour appealed to international organizations, including the UN, to immediately intervene to prevent the outbreak of famine in northern Gaza and for the swift delivery of fuel and essential materials to sustain bread production in the enclave.

The Israeli war of genocide has displaced almost the entire population of the Strip amid an ongoing blockade that has led to severe shortages of food, clean water and medicine, causing many to die of hunger.

42 years on, 'Hamas recalls “Sabra and Shatila” massacre, vows to uphold resistance

Monday 16-September-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

On the 42nd anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila massacre, the 'Hamas Movement in Lebanon said that the Palestinian people would continue to stand firm against the Israeli occupation and resist it until its removal from their land.

“The Sabra and Shatila massacre, which was committed by the Israeli occupation and its allied militias on September 16, 1982, will remain firmly rooted in the conscience of the Palestinian people and the world, as a painful and brutal massacre that reflected the Israeli occupation’s terrorism and barbarism,” 'Hamas said in a statement on Monday.

“This massacre will remain immortal in our national history because it has showed our people’s determination to stand in the face of injustice and terrorism until the day of liberation and return. It will remain a stain on the record of humanity, which has not taken any step to prosecute and punish the perpetrators of this carnage,” Hamas added.

“The anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila massacre comes this year as the Israeli occupation is waging a brutal attack on our people in the Gaza Strip … killing people and destroying infrastructure and all aspects of life,” Hamas said.

“The real response to the Sabra and Shatila massacre and the Israeli occupation’s daily massacres is through the resistance project and the building of a genuine national unity supporting this project,” the Movement underscored.

Since the 1948 Nakba (catastrophe), the oppressed Palestinian people have faced dozens of massacres, including the three-day brutal one that was committed in Lebanon’s Sabra and Shatila by Israeli-backed Christian militiamen in 1982.

Although this massacre was preceded by dozens of mass killings and followed by others, the Sabra and Shatila massacre has marked a turning point in the Palestinian people’s history because of its viciousness and harrowing details.

From September 16 to 18, 1982, a Lebanese militia group, at the behest of the Israeli occupation army, massacred between 800 and 2,000 Palestinians in the Sabra and Shatila camps on Beirut’s outskirts. They also murdered at least 100 Lebanese civilians and some Syrians.

The Wadi 'Hilwa Information Center reported that a group of Israeli colonists, under the protection of the occupation forces, stormed Al-Khalwa Street in Al-Tour, raided an apartment, locked its doors, placed barbed wire around it, and installed surveillance cameras.
