While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

US citizen, Matt Nelson, set himself on fire outside the Israeli consulate in Boston, in protest to the US support for the Israeli ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip

US citizen, Matt Nelson, self-immolates to protest Israeli genocide in Gaza

Saturday 14-September-2024

WASHINGTON, (PIC)

In the American state of Massachusetts, a man set himself on fire outside the Israeli consulate in Boston last Wednesday, 11 September, in protest at the US support for Israel’s ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The man was rushed to hospital with serious burns, but there is still no information about his health condition.

A video disclosing his identity was circulated on the internet on Friday.

“My name is Matt Nelson and I’m about to engage in an extreme act of protest. We are all culpable in the ongoing genocide in Gaza,” he said in a clip explaining his motive.

“We are slaves to capitalism and the military industrial complex. Most of us are too apathetic to care. The protest I’m about to engage in is a call to our government to stop supplying Israel with the money and weapons it uses to imprison and murder innocent Palestinians, to pressure Israel to end the genocide in Gaza, and to support the ICC indictment of Benjamin Netanyahu and other members of the Israeli government,” Nelson said in the video.

“A democracy is supposed to serve the will of the people, not the interests of the wealthy. Take the power back. Free Palestine,” he added.

To date, there have been three known acts of self-immolation in the US since October 7, 2023 — all in protest against Israel’s war on Gaza and the American financial and military support for what the UN calls “acts of genocide.”

In December 2023, an unnamed woman in Atlanta, Georgia, set herself on fire outside the Israeli consulate while carrying a Palestinian flag.

In February of the current year, Aaron Bushnell, a 25-year-old member of the US Air Force, self-immolated in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC. His act was live-streamed on Twitch, and the widely-shared video marked a turning point that galvanized the movement calling for a ceasefire.

'Hamas and Palestinian factions say No ceasefire agreement unless our people's demands are met

Saturday 14-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement, the Arab Liberation Front, and the Palestine Liberation Front said in a joint statement, “no ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip would be reached unless our people’s demands are met, including halting the aggression, completely withdrawing from the Gaza Strip, lifting the siege, reconstructing Gaza, and implementing a serious prisoner exchange deal.”

This came during a meeting held in the Gaza Strip to discuss the developments of the Israeli genocide war in the Gaza Strip.

The three factions confirmed the right of the Palestinian people to resist the Israeli occupation by all given means and the right to self-determination, underscoring that “the Palestinian people and their national forces are the ones who decide what the day after war would look like.”

They stressed the need to protect the home front and national unity, calling for taking an immediate action to implement the Beijing National Consensus Agreement and previous agreements.

They urged for the restoration of the role of the Palestine Liberation Organization, activate and develop its institutions to become the Palestinian home that brings together all the national factions, and to return to its natural role in leading the Palestinian people and achieving their hopes and aspirations for freedom, independence and statehood.

The factions also called for activating and mobilizing all the forces of the Palestinian people, especially in Jerusalem, the West Bank and the 1948 occupied Palestine, to confront the ongoing Israeli aggression and war of genocide.

They saluted all the Palestinian people across all Palestinian territories and hailed the resistance fighters, prisoners, wounded and martyrs.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health calls for international action to know fate of medical workers, who were kidnaped in December, by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip

Saturday 14-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Gaza’s health ministry has appealed to the international community to take immediate action to know the fate of dozens of its medical workers, who were kidnaped from the Gaza Strip.

In a statement on Saturday, the health ministry said that one of its paramedics called 'Hamdan Abu 'Annaba died in an Israeli jail, pointing out that he was kidnapped along with coworkers as he was trying to transport wounded citizens through the Netzarim checkpoint in December 2023.

The ministry pointed out that Abu 'Annaba was a paramedic working for the Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus and died on the same day when he was kidnapped by the Israeli occupation army.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime releases nine Gazan prisoners in deplorable conditions, with signs of fatigue, exhaustion, malnutrition, and torture

Saturday 14-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) released Saturday morning nine prisoners from the Gaza Strip, all of whom were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces, during the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

The nine released prisoners arrived in Rafa'h through Karm Abu Salim crossing, before being transferred to the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip.

Signs of torture and obvious ulcers appeared on the bodies of the released prisoners. Doctors reported that signs of fatigue, exhaustion, malnutrition, and torture were clearly seen on the bodies of all released prisoners.

Local sources published the names of some of the released detainees.

Since the outbreak of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza last October, many Palestinian and international human rights organizations have spoken of the deterioration of the situation in the Israeli occupation prisons, especially in the Sde Teiman detention camp.

Since that date, thousands of citizens from the Gaza Strip have been arrested, and currently there are about 2,500 male and female captives from the Strip languishing in Israeli jails, according to Qadoura Faris, the head of the Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission.

Guterres: UNRWA is the backbone of humanitarian support to Gazans

Saturday 14-September-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres on Friday condemned the Israeli claims against UNRWA as false and intolerable.

Speaking to Al Jazeera satellite channel, Guterres called on the US administration to take a stronger position to push Israel to stop its war on the Gaza Strip.

Guterres expressed his belief that several countries resumed their support for UNRWA after they had temporarily withheld funding, hailing all the efforts that were made to save the agency to restore its international credibility.

The UN chief stressed that “UNRWA remains the backbone of humanitarian support to the people of Gaza.”

He also criticized the UN Security Council’s failure to put an end to Israel’s war on Gaza, saying its failure in this regard damaged its credibility as a whole.

He called for necessarily pressuring the US to force Israel to stop its war on Gaza and recognize the two-state solution.

“It is important to put pressure on the United States in order to make sure that the United States puts pressure on Israel — as they are supporting Israel — put pressure on Israel to stop the war and at the same time to recognize that the two-state solution must not be undermined.”

“One of the most concerning things we have at the present moment is to see the systematic policy of many in the Israeli government that try to undermine the two-state solution, exactly by evictions, settlements, grabbing land and other actions in the West Bank, which are, of course, totally against international law,” he added.

“There is an opinion of the International Court of Justice. The opinion is clear: This is an occupation, and the occupation is not legal,” he underlined.

South Africa adamant on its genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice

Saturday 14-September-2024

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that his country is determined to pursue the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), noting that more evidence will be presented next month. South Africa filed the case last December, asserting that the Israeli war on Gaza violates the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Israel has denied this allegation.

On Friday, Ramaphosa told reporters when asked about the case: “We are stubborn,” affirming his determination “to move forward with our case.” South Africa is set to submit a statement of facts and evidence to the court next month to support its case, with President Ramaphosa indicating that preparations are underway for a massive volume of hundreds and hundreds of pages.

He continued, “We continue to say that genocide must stop, there must be a ceasefire, and similarly, there should be a release of hostages.”

Several countries, including Colombia, Libya, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, and recently Chile, have joined South Africa in the case.

Hamas welcomes Chile’s request to join South Africa’s case against Israel genocide

Meanwhile, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, welcomed the Republic of Chile’s request to the ICJ “to join the lawsuit filed by the Republic of South Africa against the Zionist entity, which is committing brutal genocide against our Palestinian people.” The Movement said in a press release that “this step reaffirms Chile’s humanitarian positions, its alignment with the values of justice, and its rejection of blatant violations of international law, as well as what our people are facing in Gaza at the hands of the extremist Zionist fascist regime.”

Hamas appreciated the supportive stance of Chilean President Gabriel Boric regarding the rights of our Palestinian people and their struggle for freedom and self-determination to establish their state. The Movement called on all countries worldwide “to join the genocide case against the Zionist entity at the International Court of Justice and to escalate all forms of pressure on it to stop its brutal war against our Palestinian people and to prevent its leaders from escaping punishment for their crimes against humanity.”

This comes after a telegram by Israel’s Foreign Ministry, the details of which were published by the American news website Axios, revealed earlier this month that Israel was pressuring members of the United States Congress to press the African state to drop its case before the ICJ.

According to the site, the Israeli Foreign Ministry sent a confidential telegram last Monday to the Israeli embassy in Washington and to all Israeli consulates in the United States regarding the case filed by South Africa against it at the ICJ. The site quoted Israeli officials as saying they want members of Congress to make it clear to South Africa that there will be consequences for continuing to pursue the case.

The officials stated that Tel Aviv hopes the new coalition government in South Africa will adopt a different approach toward Israel and the war on Gaza.

The African state has until October 28 to submit its arguments to the UN’s highest court to continue the case against Israel regarding violations of the Genocide Convention during the war on Gaza.

The ICJ has not yet begun substantive discussions on South Africa’s genocide allegations, but it is expected to do so in the coming months.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 41,182 martyrs

Saturday 14-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army committed four massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 48 hours, killing and injuring at least 219 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 64 martyrs and 155 wounded citizens were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 41,182 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 95,280 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 344

Saturday 14-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 344 on Saturday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and shelter centers and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

According to media sources, five civilians were martyred and others were injured, some seriously, in an Israeli attack near Dar al-Arqam School in the northwest of Gaza City.

An Israeli artillery attack on Bait 'Hanoun in northern Gaza claimed the lives of two people and injured several others.

An airstrike on a house also claimed the lives of 11 citizens, including four children and three women, near Al-Shuja’iya School in Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood in the east of Gaza City.

Another airstrike targeted a kindergarten in Jabalya refugee camp, north of Gaza, killing three civilians.

Last night, two people were killed and others were injured when the Israeli army bombed a tent sheltering displaced families in al-Attar area in Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Israeli airstrike on Gaza’s school-turned-shelter kills five Palestinians, injures others

GAZA, September 14, 2024 (WAFA) –

An Israeli genocidal airstrike on a school-turned-shelter to the southeast of the city of Gaza Saturday evening killed five Palestinians and injured others, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli fighter jets targeted Shuhada Al-Zaytoun School sheltering displaced persons, killing at least five civilians and injuring others.

They added that the Israeli occupation forces had targeted 172 accommodation centers, including 152 schools sheltering displaced persons, since the onset of the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces have issued a new order to displaced Palestinians in designated large blocks in the northern war-torn Strip to evacuate immediately.

A spokesperson for the occupation forces told Palestinians in the Al-Mansiya, Al-Shaikh Zayid and Mashrou' Bait Lahya neighborhoods that these areas are “currently considered a dangerous combat zone”.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 41,182 Palestinians and injuring over 95,280 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
