While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

WHO chief: no vaccine or medicine can help Gaza people if they are being killed

GENEVA, September 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Tuesday that neither vaccine nor medicine can help Palestinian people in the war-torn Gaza Strip if they are being killed.

“No vaccine nor medicine can help if people are being killed and forced to live in such dire conditions,” Ghebreyesus said on his X platform account.

“People in Gaza are asked repeatedly to move and bombarded repeatedly in areas that are supposed to be safe,” he added.

Stressing the need for an immediate ceasefire, he said: “Today's deadly airstrikes in Khan Younis demonstrate once again the urgent need for a ceasefire.”

At the dawn hours of Tuesday, the occupation army carried out a massacre by targeting the tents of displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi, which had been designated a "humanitarian zone" by the occupation forces, claiming the lives of at least 40 Palestinians and injuring 60 others, in addition to dozens of missing people.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafah, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least of 41,020 Palestinians and injuring 94,925 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

ICC prosecutor requests expedited issuance of arrest warrants against Netanyahu, Galant

THE HAGUE, September 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan requested Tuesday to expedite the issuance of arrest warrants against the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Occupation Army Minister Yoav Galant.

Media reports noted that Khan believes that the ICC is procrastinating on responding to his request several weeks after dozens of countries and concerned parties submitted their legal arguments, as he wishes that such warrants are issued before Netanyahu’s arrival to New York to deliver his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

In May, Khan had announced that he had asked the ICC to issue arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Galant, on the background of several charges, including committing crimes against humanity in Gaza.

The ICC has submitted 64 arguments supporting the position of the Prosecutor.

Norway condemns Israeli airstrike this morning on a safe zone in Khan Yunis

OSLO, September 10, 2024 (WAFA) -

Norway condemned the massacre committed by the Israeli army on Tuesday against displaced citizens' tents in the safe humanitarian zone of al-Mawasi in the city of Khan Yunis in the southwestern Gaza Strip.

Norway's Foreign Minister, Espen Barth Eide, said in a post on X that all parties have an obligation to protect civilians in warfare.

“The presence of armed groups does not nullify the obligation to comply with international humanitarian law.”

“The war must end,’ he said.

The Israeli army's shelling of displaced people's tents in the Mawasi area this morning killed at least 40 civilians and wounded 60 others, with scores of people still missing under the rubble.

Euro-Med: Israel obstructs polio vaccination campaign in Gaza

Tuesday 10-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Israel is obstructing the polio vaccination campaign in the Gaza Strip, through its continued military attacks in vaccination-designated areas along with obstructing the arrival of a UN convoy on its way to northern Gaza to implement the vaccination campaign, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed in a statement issued on Tuesday.

On Tuesday morning at around 7:30 am, Israeli warplanes bombed a group of Palestinians near a food kiosk in Gaza City’s “Al-Shawa Square,” killing five people, including a child, the statement reads.

The bombing occurred concurrently with the beginning of the polio vaccination campaign, which was carried out by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in collaboration with the UN and regional organizations north of Wadi Gaza. It was noted that the bombing specifically targeted the area around a food kiosk in the “Al-Tuffah neighborhood,” which is situated between three locations that were deemed safe for administering polio vaccinations.

Based on the information gathered by the Euro-Med field team, the targeted food stall is located in the Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, just a short distance from the safe vaccination centers that have been designated for the Tuffah, Al-Daraj, and Al-Balad neighborhoods of Gaza City.

At the beginning of the polio vaccination campaign on September 1, the Israeli army ignored all calls for a humanitarian truce or a temporary cessation of attacks during the vaccination hours. Instead, it continued its military attacks on all areas of the Gaza Strip, both southern and northern. Israeli warplanes had earlier launched dozens of air raids near the vaccination centers in the south and central of the Strip.

Despite prior coordination, the Israeli occupation army detained a UN convoy on Monday for over eight hours on its way to northern Gaza.

According to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the convoy had both national and international staff travelling to roll out the polio vaccination campaign for children in Gaza City and northern Gaza. It was stopped at gunpoint just after the Wadi Gaza checkpoint, with threats to detain UN staff. The Israeli military bulldozers caused heavy damage to the UN armored vehicles. All the staff and the convoy were later released and returned safely to the UN base.

This grave incident is the most recent in a string of violations against UN personnel that have occurred despite prior notice—such as shooting at convoys, killing and targeting hundreds of UN employees, and detaining several of them—which confirms the existence of a deliberate plan to obstruct relief and humanitarian efforts in the Strip, which suffers from grave and deteriorating health and humanitarian crises.

Deliberately initiating heavy military assaults during the vaccination campaign will undoubtedly make it more difficult for Palestinian families to get to health facilities and raise their anxiety, which might lead them to refrain entirely from going to these centers. This indicates that Israel has a clear and deliberate intention to thwart efforts to combat the virus and undermine the vaccination campaign.

Additionally, these attacks are part of a larger plan aimed at exacerbating the man-made humanitarian crisis currently plaguing the Gaza Strip, preventing the alleviation of Palestinian suffering there, increasing the risk to the lives of Palestinian children and society at large, and intensifying the comprehensive crime of genocide that Israel is committing there.

The Euro-Med called on the international community to pressure Israel to immediately cease its military assaults in order to guarantee that the polio vaccination campaign is carried out as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

It further held Israel full responsibility for protecting the lives and safety of Palestinian children from the virus, as this crisis is primarily the result of the crime of genocide it has been committing against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since 7 October 2023, which includes the destruction of basic infrastructure and the health sector, repeated forced displacement, and deprivation of all elements of human life, in addition to the ongoing arbitrary and comprehensive blockade

Euro-Med: Amid int’l silence, Israeli occupation army kills entire families in the so-called Khan Younus 'safe zone'

Tuesday 10-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army’s horrific massacre of displaced families living in ramshackle tents in a so-called “humanitarian zone” in the southern Gaza Strip is further proof that the international community’s silence during the 11-month genocide is encouraging Israel to carry out its crimes, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said in a press release on Tuesday.

The Monitor wrote the following:

The latest mass killing fueled by the international community’s refusal to act occurred in the Strip’s al-Mawasi Khan Yunis area, which the Israeli army had designated a “safe zone”. Initial investigations conducted by Euro-Med Monitor reveal that on Tuesday 10 September, after midnight, Israeli warplanes dropped three American-made MK-84 bombs on a group of displaced people sleeping in their tents in the Mawasi area. The explosions created three holes several meters deep and in diameter, burying about 20 tents with the families still inside.

Israel’s use of multiple highly destructive bombs on a densely populated area full of displaced people—and its consequent killing of sleeping civilians—is unjustifiable, whether or not its claims of the presence of armed factions in the area are accurate.

Since the displaced people’s tents were situated in a region with sandy dunes, many of them—including tents with entire families inside—were buried beneath the sand. The initial casualty toll, counting both the dead and the wounded, is over 60. The Israeli army’s intention to kill the greatest number of Palestinian civilians possible is evident in its use of American bombs with a wide destructive capacity in an area full of tents housing displaced people. It should be noted that no evacuation warnings were issued prior to the bombing.

This massacre comes only one month after Israeli forces bombed Gaza City’s Al-Tabi’in School, killing over a hundred Palestinians.

Israel remains bound by the regulations of international humanitarian law, particularly the requirements to protect civilians and adhere to the principles of distinction, proportionality, and military necessity, i.e. to take necessary precautions. This involves deciding how military operations are to be conducted and what kind of weaponry is to be employed in order to reduce the number of civilian casualties.

The shameful silence and indifference surrounding these unprecedented massacres, which blatantly and repeatedly target civilians with the clear intention of exterminating Palestinians in large numbers, serves as a green light for Israel to continue committing such atrocities.

The United States is complicit in this individual crime, as well as in Israel’s genocide of Palestinians, because it continues to supply Israel with weapons, despite knowing that the Israeli army uses these massively destructive weapons to regularly kill hundreds of civilians.

Israel’s bombing strategy reveals a deliberate policy to target Palestinian civilians across the entire Gaza Strip; spread fear among them; deny them stability or shelter, even for brief periods of time; force them to repeatedly relocate to new shelters; subject them to life-threatening conditions; and ultimately destroy them. The bombing continues throughout the entire Strip, with Israel targeting places designated as humanitarian areas, mainly shelter centres, including those set up in UNRWA-run schools.

Civilians in the Gaza Strip are paying the price every day for Israeli military attacks that seriously violate the rules of international humanitarian law, especially the principles of distinction, proportionality and military necessity.

As part of their international obligations, all nations must put an end to Israel’s war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip; safeguard civilians there; ensure that Israel abides by international law and the rulings of the International Court of Justice; and impose effective sanctions on Israel by halting all forms of military, financial, and political cooperation and support. This includes an immediate stop to all arms sales, exports, and transfers to Israel, including export licenses and military aid.

All nations that cooperate with Israel in committing crimes by providing it with any kind of direct support or assistance must be held accountable, most notably the United States. Giving aid and engaging in contractual agreements with Israel relating to the military, intelligence, politics, law, finance, and the media, among other domains that might help its crimes continue, is enabling Israel to commit its atrocities against Palestinians.

Health Ministry sends urgent appeal to prevent the closure of North Gaza hospitals

Tuesday 10-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Health stressed that the health system in the Gaza Strip is being exposed to a systematic war and great destruction, warning that silence regarding the Israeli practices exposes citizens to certain death.

The Health Ministry confirmed at a press conference held by hospital directors in the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday that North Gaza hospitals need urgent supplies, calling on international organizations to provide these hospitals with fuel and medical supplies to ensure staying operational.

Hospital directors affirmed that the Israeli bombardment has intensified in the northern Gaza Strip, and significantly affected the health services.

The Ministry held the Israeli occupation army responsible for the fate of the sick and wounded especially the children in intensive care units.

The Kamal Adwan and Indonesian hospitals in northern Gaza warned on Monday that they would stop functioning within 48 hours due to the lack of fuel supplies.

The Ministry of Health has repeatedly warned of the repercussions of the unprecedented medical crisis in the Strip in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression, the occupation of all the crossings, and the continuous targeting of the health sector.

IOF detains UN convoy on its way to Gaza for 8 hours

Tuesday 10-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, said that the Israeli occupation army stopped a UN convoy on its way to northern Gaza for more than eight hours on Monday despite prior detailed coordination.

Lazzarini added in a statement that the convoy had both national and international staff traveling to roll out the polio vaccination campaign for children in Gaza city and northern Gaza.

He confirmed that the convoy was stopped at gun point just after the Wadi Gaza checkpoint, with threats to detain UN staff. The IOF bulldozers caused heavy damage to the UN armored vehicles.

He pointed out that after hours, all the staff and the convoy were released and returned safely to the UN base, saying, “we are not able to confirm whether the polio campaign will take place today (Tuesday) in northern Gaza.”

This serious incident is the latest in a series of violations against UN personnel, including shooting at convoys and arrests of UN personnel by Israeli forces at checkpoints despite prior notification, the UN official said.

“UN staff must be allowed to undertake their duties safely and to be protected at all times in accordance with international humanitarian law. Gaza is no different,” he added.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 340

Tuesday 10-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 340 on Tuesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and shelter centers and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

Earlier Tuesday, Gaza’s civil defense agency said that an Israeli strike on a humanitarian zone in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, the south of the Gaza Strip, killed 40 people and wounded 60 others.

The strike hit Al-Mawasi which was designated a safe zone by the Israeli army early in the war, with tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians seeking refuge there.

Gaza civil defense spokesman, Mahmoud Basal, said early Tuesday that “40 martyrs and 60 injured were recovered and transferred” to nearby hospitals following the overnight strike.

“Our crews are still working to recover dozens of missing people as a result of targeting the displacement tents in Al-Mawasi, Khan Yunis,” he added.

Basal pointed out that people sheltering in the camp had not been warned of the strike, adding a shortage of tools and equipment was hindering rescue operations.

“More than 20 to 40 tents were completely damaged,” he said, adding the strike left behind “three deep craters.”

“There are entire families who disappeared under the sand in the Al-Mawasi Khan Yunis massacre,” he added.

Israeli airstrike kills Palestinian, injures others in al-Bureij Camp

GAZA, September 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

An Israeli airstrike Tuesday evening killed a Palestinian and injured others in al-Bureij refugee camp in the central war-torn Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

They said that first aid and emergency crews transported the body of a fatality together with several casualties to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a floor of a residential building at the entrance of the camp.

Several Palestinians injured, kidnapped in IOF raids

Tuesday 10-September-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Several Palestinian citizens were kidnapped and others were injured during an Israeli military raid campaign in various areas of the occupied West Bank at dawn Tuesday.

In Nablus, a number of local residents were injured when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired teargas bombs at the Hamra military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley.

The IOF also took measurements of two houses, belonging to the martyr Jaafar Mona and the kidnapee Amir Salama, in preparation for their demolition.

In al-Khalil, local sources reported that the IOF stormed several neighborhoods and arrested the young man Muhammad Ishaq Harbi Al-Jamal, after raiding and violently searching his family home.

The IOF also stormed Beit Kahil town northwest of the city, and arrested the ex-prisoner Hamza Abdul Mahdi Al-Zahour, who was released from Israeli prisons two weeks ago.

Several local homes were also stormed and searched during the raid.

In Ramallah, the IOF kidnapped a young man after raiding his family house in Beit Rima town.

Similar raids were carried out in Rummana town in Jenin where at least one person was arrested from his family house after the IOF brutally attacked and abused his family members.

In Bethlehem, the Israeli forces kidnapped three Palestinians from the Deheishe refugee camp, including a girl.

10,600 Palestinians kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip

Tuesday 10-September-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped 10,600 Palestinians across the West Bank since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip last October, rights sources revealed.

A joint statement issued by the Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners Society revealed that over the course of Monday night and Tuesday morning, the IOF troops carried out a massive campaign of raids, searches, and arrests throughout the West Bank. 14 Palestinians were detained during the raids, including the mother of a martyr, a girl, a child, and ex-prisoners.

The detainees included those who were arrested in home raids, at military checkpoints, and those who were forced to surrender themselves under threat of their family arrest, in addition to those who were held hostage, those who were kept in detention, and those who were later released.

The figures, however, do not include those who were recently detained from the Gaza Strip.

The number of female prisoners held administratively in Israeli prisons has risen to 24, after three female prisoners from al-Khalil were transferred to administrative detention.

The pace of raids and arrests witnessed by the cities of the occupied West Bank has increased, coinciding with the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, which has left tens of thousands dead and wounded.

Israeli occupation forces beat up Palestinian south of Nablus

NABLUS, September 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces today beat up a Palestinian youth to the south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that the gun-toting soldiers brutally assaulted the youth, identified as a resident of the Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village, after stopping him at the entrance of the village, at a time when they set up a checkpoint at the entrance, stopping Palestinian-registered vehicles and provocatively checking passengers’ identity cards.

Israeli severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement through a complex combination of over 100 fixed checkpoints, flying checkpoints, settler-only roads and various other physical obstructions.

Closures besides to other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 57-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians.

Illegal Israeli settlers destroy agricultural nursery in Nablus, bulldoze 60 dunums in Ramallah

Tuesday 10-September-2024

NABLUS, (PIC)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked on Tuesday an agricultural nursery in Nablus, while others bulldozed 60 dunums in the village of Um Safa, northwest of Ramallah.

At dawn Tuesday, Jewish settlers stole and destroyed the contents of an agricultural nursery in the town of Deir Sharaf, west of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.

Ahmed Al-Nasser, the owner of “Al-Nasser Nursery,” reported that settlers stormed the nursery at dawn after destroying the security fence and stole quantities of fruitful seedlings and destroyed the rest of the plants.

He explained that he observed settlers storming the nursery and stealing seedlings from inside, then heading to the nearby evacuated Homesh settlement.

He pointed out that this is the sixth time that his nursery has been robbed and destroyed by settlers, noting that the robbery was caught on his surveillance cameras.

On the other hand, other fanatic settlers carried out bulldozing operations in the Jabal al-Ras area in the village of Um Safa, northwest of Ramallah.

Marwan Sabah, the head of the village council, reported that about 60 out of 500 dunums of the village’s land were bulldozed.

He pointed out that settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army and escorted by bulldozers, raided the area at dawn Tuesday, and started bulldozing lands planted with grapes and olives, without any prior notification.

Sabah pointed out that the village of Um Safa has become encircled by Israeli settlements in light of the expansion of the Ateret settlement illegally built on its lands.

He explained that three houses in the village had previously been notified of demolition, warning of Israeli plans of establishing new settlements in the area.
