While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Wednesday 9-October-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces continue to escalate their bloody war on Lebanon for the 17th consecutive day through air and artillery bombardments, along with ongoing attempts to infiltrate towns and villages in southern Lebanon.

On October 8, 2024, the Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that Israeli airstrikes since the beginning of the conflict have resulted in the deaths of 2,119 citizens and injuries to 10,019 others with varying degrees of wounds.

Early Wednesday morning, Israeli warplanes targeted the Al-Kafa-at area in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The occupation forces conducted four airstrikes on the town of Al-Khiyam in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Civil Defense announced that one civilian was killed and three citizens were injured in an Israeli strike on the town of Al-Saida, west of Ba'albek in the eastern Biqaa' region.

Israel' killed 2,141, injured 10,099 in Lebanon, paramedics targeted

By Al Mayadeen English

9 Oct 2024, at 21:34 pm Beirut local time

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the toll of martyrs from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has reached 2,141, with 10,099 injured, since October 8, 2023.

A statement from the Public Health Emergency Operations Center, affiliated with the Lebanese Ministry of Health, detailed the casualties from Tuesday’s Israeli occupation aggressions across various Lebanese regions.

The report outlined the number of deaths and injuries as follows:

South Lebanon: 12 people martyred, 37 injured Biqaa' region: 7 people martyred, 3 injured Ba'albek-Hermil region: 1 martyred, 2 injured Mount Lebanon: 4 injured

The Emergency Operations Center further noted that a total of 22 people have been killed by Israeli airstrikes while 80 others have been injured, in yesterday's toll.

As the night sets in, Israeli occupation forces continue their attacks on Lebanon, focusing on the Southern Suburb of Beirut, the South, Bekaa, and Baalbek-Hermel regions.

In its latest attacks, the Israeli occupation air force, according to Al-Mayadeen's correspondent, targeted the town of Shib'a, causing the closure of the Shib'a-Janam-Rashaya-Ayn Ata road. Another airstrike struck the town of Habboush in South Lebanon.

Earlier today, the correspondent also reported that 6 people were killed and 25 were injured when an Israeli occupation airstrike hit a shelter managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs in the town of Al-Wardaniya, located in the Iqleem Al-Kharroub area of Al-Shoaf in Mount Lebanon.

'Israel' has a bulls-eye set on medics, civil defense

The Union of Municipalities of Bint Jubail in South Lebanon announced that the bodies of several firefighters from its rescue center in the town of Bar'asheet remain trapped under the rubble after an Israeli occupation airstrike hit the center last Sunday night.

The center urged immediate intervention to recover the bodies of the remaining crew members, who were martyred as a result of the Israeli strike, with the estimated number of missing medics being 20 rescuers, out of which only 8 bodies have been retrieved so far.

The union also appealed to the international community and humanitarian organizations to intervene and "halt the continued targeting of humanitarian workers by the Israeli occupation."

In addition to the firefighters at Bar'asheet, several other rescuers remain trapped under rubble at other locations targeted by Israeli airstrikes. Efforts to recover them have been hindered by ongoing bombardments and the targeting of those attempting to reach the sites.

Two weeks ago, Israeli forces targeted the Islamic Health Association teams in the southern border towns of Tayba and Odaysa, subsequently targeting other teams that attempted to assist them. The bodies of the martyred rescuers remain trapped in their vehicles and bases in these towns.

The Israeli occupation continues to target civil defense and ambulance centers and the Islamic Health Association across different regions while on duty, including in the capital, Beirut.

These attacks are not new to the current aggression. Since October 8, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have deliberately targeted civil defense and ambulance centers, as well as personnel and equipment.

In a related development, the Lebanese Civil Defense received an Israeli threat on Thursday, October 3, 2024, warning them against approaching targeted areas, particularly the Southern Suburb of Beirut, which experienced the heaviest airstrikes since the escalation of attacks on September 23, 2024. The threat included warnings of targeting anyone who attempted to approach the bombed sites in the suburbs to aid victims.

This warning followed earlier calls on September 26, 2024, urging civil defense personnel across Lebanon to evacuate their posts, aiming to spread panic and disrupt relief efforts.

Undercover Israeli occupation forces kill four Palestinians in Nablus

NABLUS, October 9, 2024 (WAFA) –

Undercover Israeli forces Wednesday evening killed four Palestinians in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that undercover Israeli forces, known as Mista'arvim, sneaked their way into the city and opened gunfire on a vehicle, killing the four youths inside, at a time when military reinforcements were sent to Jerusalem Road from the direction of the 'Huwwara military checkpoint before withdrawing.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that PRCS paramedics arrived at the scene and evacuated the four victims to the Rafeedya Government Hospital.

PRCS paramedics also evacuated a youth who sustained an injury after being hit with shrapnel from live ammunition fired by the Israeli special forces to the hospital.

The occupation forces frequently conduct raids daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Tha-ir 'Hanani, the head of the Committee for the Defense of Tana Lands, said that colonists vandalized the sole mosque Khirbet Tana, smashing the solar panels generating electricity to it and wreaking havoc inside.

He added that Khirbet Tana has become a target of ongoing settler attacks and the Israeli occupation apartheid regime have displaced the community several times in an attempt to seize their land for colonial settlement construction.

The settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

The settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Over 700,000 Israeli colonists are living in colonies across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian, seize his vehicle near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, October 9, 2024 (WAFA) –

A horde of the illegal Israeli settlers Wednesday evening attacked a Palestinian and seized his vehicle near the Dair Dibwan town, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to security sources.

They said that several colonists set up a roadblock on the outskirts of the town, assaulted a villager of Burqa who was driving nearby and seized his vehicle.

Meanwhile, Israeli colonists mounted an attack on Palestinians’ houses in the Khalayil Al-Louz locality, southeast of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.

'Hasan Buraijah, Israeli wall and settler-colonialism specialist, said that several illegal Israeli settlers, under army protection, attacked houses belonging to the Abu Kamil family, simultaneously while firing barrages of gunfire as well as teargas and concussion bombs.

Not only did not the occupation soldiers stop the attack, but also they chased Palestinians and their vehicles in the locality.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Over 700,000 Israeli colonists are living in colonies across Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and the West Bank in violation of international law.

Israeli occupation forces erect checkpoints to the north and northeast of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, October 9, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening erected checkpoints to the north and northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.

They said that the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of the Abu Fala'h village, east of Ramallah, and another at the entrance of the 'Ain Sinya village, north of Ramallah, at a time when they barged their way into the nearby town of Turmus 'Ayya.

There was no immediate information on any detention case.

Israeli severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement through a complex combination of over 100 fixed checkpoints, flying checkpoints, settler-only roads and various other physical obstructions.

Closures besides to other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 57-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians.

'Hamas: Israeli orders to evacuate hospitals constitute flagrant violation of international laws

Wednesday 9-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement has charged that the Israeli threats to evacuate Gaza hospitals including Kamal 'Udwan, the Indonesian and Al-'Awda hospitals, of the patients, the displaced and medical staff, in light of the military campaign it is waging on the northern Gaza Strip governorate, is a flagrant violation of international laws, and a criminal attempt to implement the displacement plans that the fascist occupation government seeks to implement.

The Movement stressed in a press statement on Tuesday evening that the Israeli terrorist evacuation orders of hospitals under the pressure of bombardment, aggression and direct targeting is similar to a death sentence against thousands of patients and the wounded, including women, elderly, and children.

'Hamas affirmed that this decision requires the UN and all international institutions to take immediate action to stop this crime and take decisive measures to protect medical centers and hospitals, including the patients and the displaced, and to work on providing them with all the fuel, equipment, and medical supplies they need.

The Movement said, “The aggression launched by the Israeli occupation army against our people in the northern Gaza Strip, especially in Jabalya and its refugee camp, and the ongoing bombing of citizens’ homes, shelters, displacement centers and hospitals; will not succeed in breaking the will of the patient and the steadfast people and their valiant resistance, which has stood firm in the face of the Israeli successive waves of terrorist attacks.”

The Israeli occupation army instructed the hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate the patients, displaced, and the medical staff, while laying siege to Kamal Adwan Hospital.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation army was besieging Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the North Gaza Governorate, and opened fire on the hospital’s administration office.

The Ministry of Health indicated that the hospital would stop operating within hours due to running out of fuel, confirming that the occupation army demanded the evacuation of Kamal 'Udwan, the Indonesian and Al-Awda hospitals, otherwise they will face the same fate as of Al-Shifa Hospital, of destruction, killing and arrest.

It noted that the army arrested a paramedic who accompanied one of the intensive care cases during its transfer from Kamal Adwan Hospital despite following coordination procedures.

The Director of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, said, “We were officially informed to evacuate the hospital within 24 hours of all the patients and the wounded, and all medical staff by tomorrow.”

“The army threatened me personally that if the hospital is not evacuated by tomorrow, we will expose ourselves to danger,” Abu Safiya added.

Guterres: Gaza is living multiple crises, Lebanon is on the verge of all-out war

Wednesday 9-October-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned that Lebanon is on the verge of all-out war due to the Israeli escalation, stressing the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries.

This came in statements to reporters at the UN headquarters in New York on Tuesday evening, during which he addressed the general situation in the Gaza Strip and the region.

Speaking about the Israeli genocide in Gaza and the war on Lebanon, Guterres said the past year “has been a year of crises: a humanitarian crisis, political crisis, diplomatic crisis, and a moral crisis,” and “the nightmare in Gaza is now entering an atrocious, abominable second year.”

Guterres stated that Gaza has become the center of unimaginable suffering after October 7, 2023, referring to the killing of civilians, journalists, humanitarian aid workers and UN employees.

He added that Israel attacked residential areas in northern Gaza, evacuated hospitals and cut off electricity, warning of the enforcement of an Israeli bill that would prevent the UNRWA from operating in the occupied Palestinian territories, stressing that the Israeli move would be disastrous.

Guterres pointed out that he has been warning for months about the risk of the conflict spreading in the region, saying that the Middle East has become a powder keg with many parties holding the match.

He pointed out that the occupied West Bank has reached a boiling point, and that the attacks on Lebanon threaten the entire region, noting that more than 2,000 people were killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

Guterres stressed the need for implementing the two-state solution, and that all peoples of the region live in peace.

UNRWA Commissioner: 400,000 Palestinians are besieged in the northern Gaza Strip

RAMALLAH, October, 12, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that at least 400,000 people are trapped in the northern Gaza Strip, and Israeli evacuation orders are forcing people to flee repeatedly, especially from Jabalya refugee camp.

Lazzarini said that a large number of Palestinians refuse to evacuate, because they realize that there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip, pointing to the spread and worsening of famine throughout the Strip, with the lack of basic supplies.

He revealed that some of the agency's shelter and service centers were forced to close for the first time since the beginning of the war.

The Commissioner-General of UNRWA continued, "The continued bombing threatens the implementation of the second phase of the polio vaccination campaign in the Gaza Strip."

Euro-Med: Israel subjects northern Gaza to one of the most violent campaigns of its genocide

Wednesday 9-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

An unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe is imminent as the Israeli occupation tightens its siege on the Jabalya refugee camp and Bait Lahya project in the northern Gaza Strip for the fourth consecutive day, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor warned in a statement issued late Tuesday.

Israel is accelerating the pace of its genocide against the Palestinians there by carrying out mass and planned killings, as well as widespread forced displacements, the statement said.

“The international community, led by the United Nations, must act swiftly and decisively to save tens of thousands of residents who are being subjected to one of the most violent campaigns of genocide the Strip has ever witnessed.”

Israeli occupation forces have intensified their siege of the Jabalya refugee camp and the surrounding neighborhoods, including Tel Al-Za'tar, Al-Sikka, Bait 'Hanoun, and Bait Lahya. The Israeli forces have also taken up positions in the western region of the Gaza Strip, advancing as far as the Jaffa Cemetery and the Tawam Junction.

With airstrikes, fire belts, and artillery shelling—including bombing homes over the heads of their occupants—the Israeli occupation forces have been occupying large portions of northern Gaza since Saturday evening, 5 October. Dozens of people have been killed and injured as a result of this ongoing invasion.

Initial reports confirmed that five citizens—including a woman, a man, and his son—were executed by the occupation forces for trying to escape the Jabalya refugee camp while waving white flags.

In an extremely dangerous development, Israeli army forces ordered the complete evacuation of Kamal Adwan Hospital, located in the Beit Lahia project, north of Gaza. Kamal 'Udwan Hospital’s director, Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, reported that he received a call from the occupation forces telling him that if he did not get the patients and medical staff out of the hospital within a day, they would be put in danger.

Along with two other hospitals in northern Gaza, Al-'Awda Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital in Jabalya, Kamal 'Udwan Hospital is partially operational after being raided and destroyed in the Israeli military’s first invasion of northern Gaza last December, during which the hospital’s medical staff, patients, and displaced persons were severely mistreated by the occupation forces.

Kamal Adwan Hospital is currently being besieged by Israeli quadcopter aircraft for the second day in a row, with smoke bombs being detonated at its gate and dozens of raids on nearby buildings.

The sole road that ambulances used to move dozens of seriously injured patients from Kamal 'Udwan Hospital to the Baptist Hospital has been cut off, following an Israeli bombing of a building in the vicinity. This was followed by the occupation forces’ tightening of the siege on the hospital, and the blocking of ambulances and any other methods of victim transport.

Earlier on Tuesday, the occupation forces arrested a paramedic who was transporting patients from the Kamal 'Uwdan Hospital to the Baptist Hospital, despite prior coordination with Israeli authorities.

The Euro-Med Monitor field team received testimonies from citizens, who were able to reach Gaza City, about witnessing dead bodies lying in the streets. The citizens also stated that they saw victims trapped beneath the debris of bombed-out houses, and that ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to reach the area as at least 20 houses were targeted by Israeli forces in a four-day period.

Thousands of people trapped in the Jabalya and Bait Lahya camps are suffering from a near-total shortage of food supplies, which were already scarce due to Israel’s closure of the border crossings. The limited amount of goods and other aid that had previously been allowed to enter the area was blocked by Israel for more than a week prior to the new invasion.

Numerous families remain stuck in their homes, enduring harsh living conditions under the intensified and brutal Israeli bombing. Citizens are not even able to leave their homes in order to obtain water, and municipal crews and local committees are unable to assist them. As a result, thousands of residents face the threat of starvation, dehydration, or death, knowing full well that they are all victims of the catastrophic effects of malnutrition brought on by Israel’s year-long starvation policy.

The Euro-Med called on the UN and international community to bear their legal and moral obligation to put an end to the horrific crime of genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation for the second year in a row now.

Aid organizations warn of escalating humanitarian crisis after mass forced displacement in northern Gaza

NEW YORK, October 9, 2024 (WAFA) -

International aid organizations warned that Israel’s new mass displacement orders targeting the remaining Palestinians of the northern Gaza Strip will worsen the already dire humanitarian situation in the north.

Nineteen international aid organizations, including civil society groups from the UK, France, the US, and Switzerland released a joint statement warning that the growing conflict in northern Gaza will result in a humanitarian catastrophe.

“This move will worsen the already dire humanitarian situation in the north, and has prevented international and national humanitarian organizations from carrying out already very limited life-saving aid operations.”

The joint statement stressed that nowhere in Gaza is safe for civilians, noting that given the severity of the needs, humanitarian actors must be able to distribute aid and continue their work, without the threat of displacement or military operations.

UN humanitarians have warned that conditions in northern Gaza are deteriorating rapidly, with over 400,000 people facing Israeli evacuation orders amid ongoing airstrikes and ground operations.

The joint statement warned that Israel ordered residents to flee through dangerous routes to already overcrowded areas.

The undersigned aid organizations called for a permanent ceasefire, the protection of civilians and a scale up of humanitarian aid.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
