While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Euro-Med accuses Israeli army of deliberately targeting Lebanon’s health sector

Sunday 6-October-2024

GENEVA, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has accused the Israeli army of not providing supporting documentation for its claim that resistance fighters transport combat equipment in ambulances in Lebanon, calling such a claim a “mere pretext for Israel’s flagrant violations against the Lebanese relief and ambulance sector.”

In a statement on Sunday, Euro-Med described Israeli attacks on civilian targets, including the war crime of targeting health facilities protected by international humanitarian law, as “crimes against humanity.”

“According to the toll released by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, since the start of Israeli attacks on October 8, 2023, and up until October 3, 2024, Israel has targeted 45 medical centers, 128 ambulances and fire engines. This resulted in the deaths of 97 paramedics and the wounding of 188 others,” Euro-Med explained.

“Israel also targeted 17 centers and 62 vehicles belonging to the Islamic Health Authority in Lebanon, killing 68 paramedics and wounding 98,” according to Euro-Med.

“Furthermore, 18 paramedics were killed and 62 injured when 57 Islamic Message Scout vehicles and 15 medical facilities were targeted.”

“The Lebanese Ambulance Authority also lost seven paramedics when a medical facility and two of its cars were attacked. Three volunteers were injured when the Israeli army attacked three medical facilities run by the International Amel Association and a Lebanese Red Cross vehicle. As for the Lebanese Civil Defense, 9 medical centers and 6 vehicles were targeted. 4 paramedics were killed, and 25 others were injured during the attacks.”

“In related Israeli actions, on Thursday, October 3, 2024, the Lebanese Civil Defense received an Israeli threat ordering its members not to travel to the targeted areas, namely the southern suburb of Beirut, which had been subjected to the most violent raids since the attacks on Lebanon expanded on September 23, 2024. The threat also stated that they would be targeted if they went near the raid sites in the suburb to aid the victims.”

“This occurred after calls were made to Civil Defense centers across Lebanon on September 26, 2024, requesting the evacuation of centers that were under threat in order to incite panic and disrupt relief efforts.”

“Based on information from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, 1,974 people were killed in Lebanon between October 8, 2023, and October 3, 2024, including 127 children, 261 women, and 97 paramedics, with 9,384 injured. Israeli bombings have damaged over 10 hospitals. The most recent attack occurred at Bint Jbeil Hospital on Friday evening, October 4, 2024, and UNIFIL ambulance crews were not allowed to enter to rescue casualties.

“The Israeli army’s actions, along with their targeting of the relief and health sectors, are a clear breach of international humanitarian law, which states unequivocally that medical personnel, both military and civilian, must always be respected and protected,” Euro-Med underlined.

“According to Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and Article 85, paragraph 5, of the First Additional Protocol of 1977, intentional attacks against healthcare workers and relief workers are considered war crimes,” Euro-Med pointed out.

“The attacks in Lebanon bear witness to the Israeli army’s intention to deliberately kill civilians and non-combatants and prevent aid and relief to them, disregarding international law and the urgent priority to always distinguish between civilians and combatants,” Euro-Med affirmed.

Euro-Med called on the international community to take immediate action to compel Israel to stop its crimes against relief workers in Lebanon and ensure their protection.

“The international community must stop these illegal attacks, prevent further escalation in the region, impose effective sanctions on Israel, and hold it accountable for its ongoing crimes against civilians and the defenseless,” Euro-Med said.

30 Israeli raids on Lebanon, 'Hizbullah continues counterattacks

Sunday 6-October-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

Israeli warplanes launched more than 30 violent raids on various areas in the southern suburb of Beirut at dawn Sunday, in the “most violent attack” on Lebanon since September 23.

The official Lebanese News Agency reported that the raids targeted gas stations and several buildings in various parts of the capital Beirut, one day after violent raids that targeted several villages in southern Lebanon and the Tyre district, killing seven people.

A Lebanese security official said that the air Israeli strikes targeted for the first time the city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon, while the Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed that the number of martyrs since October 8, 2023, has risen to 2,036 martyrs in addition to 9,653 wounded.

On the other hand, 'Hizbullah announced that its fighters confronted an Israeli occupation army force in the south, killing and wounding its members. It also targeted Israeli soldiers’ gatherings near Haifa Bay and in the Al-Manara settlement, in addition to bombing the Kiryat Shmona settlement and several other settlements with rockets and combat drones.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah denied news reported by Agence France-Presse and attributed to “senior sources in the party” about its organizational situation, the conditions of its officials and leaders, and their fate.

'Hizbullah media relations department said in a statement, “we do not have sources in Hezbollah, and our position is usually issued in an official statement,” stressing that the circulation of such rumors comes within the framework of the psychological war against the resistance supporters.

For its part, the World Health Organization announced in a statement on X that Lebanon is facing a health crisis, citing the martyrdom of 73 employees in the health sector out of the total number of martyrs estimated at 1,974 martyrs, in addition to 9,384 wounded, and 34,6209 displaced people.

According to the official Syrian news agency, SANA, a Syrian military source has confirmed that "Israel" launched an air raid from the direction of northern Lebanon, "targeting a number of military sites in the central region," noting that "the bombing led to material losses."

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in Damascus reported that "shelling targeted warehouses in the eastern and southern countryside of Homs," while field sources told Al-Mayadeen that sounds of explosions were heard around the city of Homs and caused by the explosion of warehouses in the eastern and southern countryside.

Earlier on Sunday, the director of Al Mayadeen's office in Damascus reported, citing field sources, that Israeli aggression struck a car manufacturing facility in the industrial city of Hisyah, located in the Homs countryside, using missile strikes.

Additionally, the field sources indicated that the Israeli attacks in Homs also hit two vehicles carrying aid and relief supplies within the industrial city of Hisyah, significantly worsening the humanitarian crisis in the area.

On Saturday, Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli hostile missile attack launched toward Homs Countryside, Syria, SANA reported.

This comes shortly after Syrian air defenses intercepted Israeli missile strikes near the capital, Damascus, overnight, marking the third such attack in recent nights, according to Syria's state news agency, SANA.

At the time, explosions were heard repeatedly in the area as the Israeli occupation forces targeted locations around Damascus.

The Syrian air defense systems successfully intercepted most missiles aimed at western Damascus, particularly in the direction of the Mezzeh neighborhood. However, the strikes led to casualties, with the Syrian Defense Ministry stating that three were killed and nine others injured as a result of the Israeli aggression.

On Sunday, the Syrian air defenses intercepted a drone heading toward the western countryside of Homs in light of escalating Israeli airstrikes on Syrian territory.

An Al-Mayadeen correspondent reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the Wadi Hanna area in al-Qusayr, near a Syrian Army checkpoint in the Homs countryside. According to the report, loud explosions were heard across the city of Homs, accompanied by intense barrages of anti-aircraft missiles.

13- At 19:00, the occupied city of Safed was targeted with a missile barrage.

14- At 20:30, a gathering of Israeli occupation forces in the Kfar Giladi settlement was targeted with a rocket barrage, in response to the Israeli occupation's barbaric violations of cities, villages, and civilians.

18- At 23:20, as part of a series of Khaybar operations and "in response to the targeting of civilians and the massacres committed by the Israeli enemy", and in the call of "Labaik Ya Nasrallah [O Nasrallah]," the Islamic Resistance carried out a barrage of Fadi 1-typed missiles on the Carmel base south of Haifa.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has also responded that it will remain prepared to protect Lebanon and the oppressed people, and will not waver in its commitment to counter the Israeli enemy's arrogance and aggression.

Exclusive: Hezbollah forces IOF to withdraw after infiltration attempt

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon confirmed on Sunday evening that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah forced an Israeli force to withdraw towards occupied Palestine and out of Lebanese territory as they tried to infiltrate the border town of Yaroun.

Loud sounds of confrontations, interspersed with explosions, were heard in the neighboring villages, an Al Mayadeen correspondent added.

Our correspondent stated that Yaroun, which has been targeted by the Israeli occupation with bombardment for about a year, represents a “geographical and military weak point for the occupation,” explaining that the latter carries out ground attacks in the town, but is unable to establish positions within in.

The report from Al-Mayadeen's correspondent coincides with Hezbollah's continued confrontation with the IOF on the frontlines, as it targeted, on Sunday, the gatherings of occupation soldiers in Khallet Shu'ayb, east of the town of Blida, with artillery shells.

'Hizbullah had previously forced a force of Israeli soldiers to retreat when they tried to infiltrate Khallet Shu'ayb, causing confirmed casualties.

After reports of a "substantial security incident" in the Al-Jaleel Panhandle emerged early on Saturday, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - 'Hizbullah revealed that what had occurred was a major ambush near the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

Although the Israeli military censor has imposed strict restrictions on information in combat zones, Israeli media outlets reported heavy gunfire and the deployment of attack helicopters near the city settlement of Kiryat Shmona.

The developments were obscured due to the little information allowed to be published by the Israeli regime, however, statements released by the Resistance's Military Media Unit revealed that fighters had been confronting Israeli ground forces deep into the night.

At 11:00 pm (local time) on Friday, Hezbollah fighters monitored an Israeli ground force, which was attempting an incursion into the border town of Al-'Odaisah. The force was ambushed and subsequently armed clashes erupted in the area, which has seen intense fighting in the past few days.

Al-'Odaisah also witnessed the killing of at least nine Israeli officers and soldiers from the 98th Division's Egoz Unit and the Yahalom Unit on Thursday.

Gaza: Dozens of Palestinians massacred or injured in Israeli airstrikes on shelter centers

Sunday 6-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) committed at dawn Sunday two horrific massacres when they bombed a mosque and a school sheltering displaced families in central Gaza.

In an initial toll, at least 24 civilians were killed and 93 others were injured, mostly women and children, in the IOFs airstrikes on these two shelter centers, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office (PGMO).

“The occupation army committed two brutal massacres in the central governorate when it bombed the Shuhada al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibn Rushd School, where hundreds of displaced people were sheltering,” PGMO said in a statement.

A number of children’s bodies arrived at the Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital with their heads cut off, in addition to a large number of serious injuries, according to medical sources.

Faced with large numbers of trauma patients inside and outside the hospital, doctors are forced to prioritize who receives immediate medical assistance and who does not. They are treating many serious cases in the hospital’s corridors, on its floors, in its annexes, and even in the street.

The hospital is severely short-staffed, and it is lacking the ability to perform many operations. Limb amputations are decided as the last resort to save lives.

On Saturday evening, the Israeli army carried out dozens of aerial and artillery attacks on Beit Lahia and Jabalia in northern Gaza, killing and injuring dozens of civilians and displacing many others.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that Israeli warplanes carried out over 50 strikes on homes, civilian gatherings, agricultural lands and streets in the east of Jabalia and the northwest of Beit Lahia.

Local media reported that the intensive Israeli attacks forced many civilians to leave neighborhoods in Beit Lahia and Gaza City, amid initial reports talking about a large-scale IOFs ground operation in northern Gaza.

Last night, the IOFs committed a heinous massacre when it bombed a truck and then a group of citizens who tried to help the wounded driver near the Jabalia Services Club before another airstrike targeted the club’s building, where thousands of displaced citizens were sheltering. A large number of people were reportedly killed or injured in these airstrikes.

New Israeli massacre in Gaza claims 18 lives in airstrike on mosque

GAZA, October 6, 2024 (WAFA) —

A tragic airstrike by the Israeli occupation forces in the early hours of Sunday has resulted in the murder of at least 18 Palestinians, with dozens more injured, in yet another horrific massacre against displaced families in Dair El-Bala'h, central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a mosque sheltering displaced families near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. The strike resulted in at least 18 fatalities and numerous injuries among the displaced population, with some children’s bodies arriving at the hospital with severe mutilations and others even beheaded.

Healthcare workers are facing overwhelming challenges, as they try to prioritize treatment for the critically injured while grappling with a severe shortage of medical supplies and medications needed for care.

Earlier in the night, two additional civilians, including an infant girl, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Bait Lahiya in northern Gaza. Medical officials confirmed that the attack struck a home belonging to Al-Masri family, resulting in multiple injuries among eleven people.

Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes continued to carry out dozens of strikes across northern Gaza, leading to a rising toll of casualties, with many of the victims being children.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 41,825 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 96,910 individuals sustaining injuries, the majority of whom are women and children.

Thousands are also feared dead under the rubble of destroyed structures across the war-torn enclave, with civil defense teams and emergency services unable to reach several areas due to safety concerns amid the indiscriminate Israeli attacks.

Ongoing massacres as Israeli genocide in Gaza enters second year

Sunday 6-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As its devastating and deadly war on the Gaza Strip approached the one-year mark and entered day 366 on Sunday, the Israeli occupation army continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians, in the midst of a catastrophic humanitarian situation as a result of the tight siege and the non-stop displacement campaigns.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to carry out attacks on homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

According to media sources, an Israeli drone attacked citizens in the northwest of Rafa'h in southern Gaza, killing three of them.

Dozens of people, including many women and children, were also killed or injured in Israeli airstrikes on a mosque and a school sheltering displaced families in central Gaza. A number of children’s bodies arrived at the Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital with their heads cut off, in addition to a large number of serious injuries, according to medical sources.

The Israeli army also bombed a house belonging to the family of Qabalan in the east of Khan Younus, south of Gaza, killing a girl child and injuring other civilians.

An Israeli warplane also bombed a house belonging to the family of Al-'Arbeed in the Beer Al-Naja area, west of Jabalya camp.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army released a new evacuation map for the citizens in northern Gaza and central Gaza as it started a limited incursion on the outskirts of northern Gaza.

Over 15 Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank

RAMALLAH, October 6, 2024 (WAFA) —

Israeli occupation forces have kidnapped at least 15 Palestinians in the West Bank during the last 24 hours, including a journalist and former prisoners.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) and the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said in a joint statement that the detentions occurred across several governorates, including Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Toulkarm, and Toubas.

According to the statement, the Israeli occupation military continues to conduct extensive raids and acts of violence, accompanied by threats against detainees and their families, as well as destruction of property in the homes of civilians.

Since the onset of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people exactly one year ago, Israeli occupation forces have kidnapped over 11,100 individuals from the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the statement added.

Number of Palestinian detainees who died in Israeli custody has reached 40 since start of Israeli genocide in Gaza- PPS

RAMALLAH, October 6, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Director of the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS), 'Abdullah Al-Zughari, said that one year after the onset of the Israeli genocide in Gaza, the number of Palestinian detainees who died in Israeli custody has reached 40.

This toll includes 14 detainees from the West Bank and Jerusalem, two from the 1948-occupied land and 24 from Gaza. He noted that the total number of identified prisoners and detainees who died in Israeli custody since 1967 now stands at 277.

During a press conference held at the municipality of Al-Beerih in Ramallah, Al-Zughari announced the names of 15 detainees from Gaza who died in Israeli custody and whose identities had not been previously disclosed. He confirmed that the Israeli army reported that these individuals had died in its jails and detention camps after October 7, 2023.

He stated that the reported number of Gaza's detainees who died in Israeli custody is not conclusive, estimating that the total could be in the dozens, according to reports published by Israeli media and human rights organizations.

He added that the reported number of Palestinian detainees who died in Israeli detention centers due to the retaliatory war launched by Israel against prisoners includes only those whose names have been identified and confirmed by prisoner organizations.

He expected that there are likely dozens more who have been killed in cold blood in Israeli prisons, with their fates unknown due to Israel's policy of enforced disappearance, all occurring without any international intervention.

Since October 7, 2023, the number of detentions conducted by Israeli forces has surpassed 11,100 in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The number of detentions among women has exceeded 420, including those detained in the 1948-occupied land and several female detainees from Gaza.

The number of detentions among children in the West Bank and Jerusalem has reached at least 740.

Additionally, 108 journalists have been detained, of whom 58 remain in custody, including six female journalists. Rasha 'Hirzullah, a reporter working for Palestinian News and Information Agency WAFA is among the female detainees who remain in custody.

The number of administrative detention orders issued since the beginning of the genocide has exceeded 9,000, including both new and renewed orders.

As of the beginning of this month, the total number of detainees in Israeli jails has exceeded 10,100, including 95 females and 270 children, while the number of administrative detainees has reached 3,398.

The number of detainees from Gaza who were classified by the Israeli prison authorities as "unlawful combatants" stands at 1,618. It is important to note that this figure does not encompass all detainees from Gaza, particularly those held in military camps.

23 out of 38 hospitals in Gaza now out of service amid Israeli aggression

GAZA, October 6, 2024 (WAFA) —

23 out of 38 hospitals in the Gaza Strip are now out of service after one year since the onset of the Israeli genocidal war in the region, medical sources have reported.

Local health authorities further revealed that the health sector in the enclave has suffered significant losses, with 986 healthcare workers killed during the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Euro-Med: Israel is repeating the stages of genocide in northern Gaza

Sunday 6-October-2024

GENEVA, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said the Israeli occupation army is repeating the stages of genocide which it has begun in the Gaza Strip a year ago, as it intensified its violent bombing of areas in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with the start of a ground incursion and the issuance of a new forced displacement map for the remaining residents of the northern Gaza Strip, declaring the start of a new stage of the war.

The Euro-Med Monitor said that the Israeli occupation army has launched more than 70 airstrikes and fire belts since 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 5, until early Sunday, in addition to the violent artillery shelling of Jabalya and its camp, Bait Lahya, and the northwest of Gaza City.

It further explained that the Israeli shelling targeted many homes, gatherings, a water distribution vehicle, and a shelter center crowded with the displaced, leading to the killing and wounding of dozens of people.

It pointed out that the Israeli occupation army began to penetrate on Saturday evening into the northwestern outskirts of Gaza City and eastern Jabalya, amidst violent fire belts, before the occupation army announced this morning that it had tightened the siege of Jabalya, which had previously witnessed several ground incursions during which dozens of massacres were carried out in it and most of its buildings and homes were destroyed.

The human rights body warned that the Israeli occupation army issued on Sunday morning several new maps, announcing on one of which the beginning of a new phase of the war, and renaming the residential blocks in Gaza and North Gaza governorates.

The Israeli occupation army ordered the remaining residents in those areas to evacuate via Rashid and Salah Al-Din streets towards an area it claimed as a humanitarian zone.

The Euro-Med expressed its concern that the new map is a prelude to Israel’s efforts to implement the “Generals’ Plan” to completely evacuate the Gaza and North Gaza Governorates to turn them into a military zone.

Sada Social watch group releases report titled "A Year of Digital Erasure of Palestinians"

RAMALLAH, October 6, 2024 (WAFA) -

Sada Social Center for Palestinian Digital Rights released a report titled "A Year of Digital Erasure of Palestinians," which includes monitoring digital violations that coincided with Israeli attacks on Palestinians, from October 7, 2023, for a full year.

The report focused on the multiple dimensions of digital erasure, which included the suppression of Palestinian content, the imposition of censorship on social media and the targeting of Palestinian journalists.

According to the report, Palestinian content on social media platforms was subjected to over 23,000 digital violations. Meta platforms accounted for 56% of these violations, TikTok for 25%, X(Twitter) for 15%, and SoundCloud made up 3.7%.

During this period, more than 700 Palestinian WhatsApp numbers were banned, which further isolated the population and made it more difficult for them to communicate with the outside world. These cases represented 76% of Gaza's population, contributing to a deepening digital crisis and imposing an almost complete digital isolation on the Strip.

Regarding journalists, the report stated that 29% of the total digital violations targeted journalists and media institutions. Sada Social received more than 1,200 complaints from journalists about attempts to hack their digital accounts, while 16 fake accounts were created using journalists' names to tarnish their reputations and spread false information about them. This posed a dual threat to their digital and physical safety.

The report also documented over 80,000 Israeli incitement posts on social media platforms, including calls for genocide and justifications for violence and mass killings against Palestinians. The center recorded 340 complaints related to incitement through WhatsApp messages and SMS. Additionally, the center tracked the dissemination of 250 false and misleading pieces of information during this period, ranging from completely incorrect information to manipulated contexts aimed at justifying the violent targeting of Palestinian civilians.

During the year of genocide, Sada Social documented around 67 instances where Israel and its military forces used the "death squares" tactic as a means to evade responsibility for killing Palestinian civilians. They published maps dividing the Gaza Strip into numbered squares, ordering the residents of specific squares to evacuate under the threat of bombing and death. This tactic was later repeated in southern Lebanon.

Sada Social called on international institutions to take a firm stance against these discriminatory policies and to hold tech companies accountable for contributing to the amplification of the Israeli narrative by restricting Palestinian content.

The center also urged for an end to incitement campaigns that threaten the lives of both civilians and journalists alike.

Massive protests across the U.S. mark one year of Israeli aggression against Palestinians

WASHINGTON DC, October 6, 2024 (WAFA) —

Large-scale protests erupted across major U.S. cities over the weekend, marking one year since the onset of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people.

Demonstrations took place simultaneously in cities such as New York, Rochester, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and Dallas, reflecting widespread discontent with ongoing Israeli military attacks in Gaza.

Since November of last year, the Israeli onslaught has resulted in over 41,000 Palestinians killed and 95,000 others injured, alongside extensive destruction of Gaza's infrastructure.

Human rights, humanitarian, and community organizations supportive of the Palestinian cause participated actively in the protests. A notable gathering occurred outside the White House in Washington, where activists urged President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to implement an arms embargo on Israel to halt the atrocities against innocent civilians.

In a related demonstration in Raleigh, North Carolina—recently affected by Hurricane Helene—protesters called for reallocation of funds intended for aid to Israel to assist victims of the natural disaster instead.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
