While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Overnight airstrikes on Beirut southern suburb amid displacement warnings, evacuation orders

Saturday 5-October-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army launched several airstrikes on the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut early on Saturday, after forcibly displacing hundreds of Lebanese citizens and ordering them to evacuate certain areas.

Reuters quoted witnesses as saying that an explosion was heard and smoke was seen rising over the southern suburb of Beirut shortly after the Israeli occupation army issued two warnings to residents in the area to evacuate their homes immediately.

Later, Al Jazeera reported that four other strikes targeted Al-Shuwaifat area and the vicinity of the Sayyid Al-Shuhada complex in the southern suburb of Beirut.

Israeli warplanes carried out a massive airstrike on the southern suburb at dawn on Friday, which the Israeli occupation army said targeted the head of the executive council of 'Hizbullah, Hashim Safiyuddeen, whose fate remains a mystery, while Israel claims that there are increasing indications that he was martyred in the attack.

Hashim Safiyuddeen, born in 1964, has recently been mentioned as a possible successor to 'Hizbullah Secretary-General 'Hasan Nasrullah, who was assassinated by Israel on September 27.

Since September 23, Israel has been launching bloody air strikes on Lebanon, killing 2,011 people and wounding 9,500, according to data published by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

Later, the occupation army launched ground incursions into Lebanon, facing fierce resistance from 'Hizbullah fighters, which resulted in killing at least 18 Israeli officers and soldiers and injuring dozens more.

Ireland rejects Israeli request to withdraw peacekeepers from Lebanon border

Saturday 5-October-2024

DUBLIN, (PIC)

Ireland has rejected an Israeli request asking it to withdraw its peacekeeping troops from an outpost along the Lebanon-Israel border.

According to The Irish Times, the request was made on Friday through the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and came as Israel continued to pound Lebanon.

Ireland and UNIFIL has made it clear that the peacekeeping force will remain in place despite Israeli threats.

Ireland has a single outpost designated as post “6-52” on the border, known as the Blue Line. It is one of the several countries contributing troops to UNIFIL.

The Irish platoon stationed at the post is tasked with observing and reporting any incursions along the border.

Recently, the Israeli army made several failed attempts to invade southern Lebanon, amid ongoing aerial and artillery attacks that killed and injured hundreds of people.

'Israel' killed almost 17,000 children in Gaza in less than a year

"Israel" has murdered around 17,000 children since it launched its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, local authorities revealed on Sunday.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 41,825 martyrs

Saturday 5-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 48 hours, killing and injuring at least 155 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 48 hours, but at least 89 martyrs and 66 wounded citizens were transported to hospitals.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7, 2023.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

TUBAS, (PIC)

A Palestinian young man was martyred on Saturday morning after the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) encircled his house and kidnapped him in Wadi Al-Fari’ah village, south of Toubas in the West Bank.

According to media sources, the Israeli occupation army informed the Palestinian Authority liaison office that A'hmed 'Owaisa died of a critical bullet injury during his detention.

Local sources said that Israeli forces kidnaped Owaisa after encircling his house and opening fire at him.

Martyr 'Owaisa had been released from an Israeli jail a few weeks ago after serving two years’ imprisonment.

According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Society, the IOFs interrogated dozens of citizens in the West Bank, particularly in Bait Ummar town, northwest of Al-Khaleel.

The Israeli occupation soldiers also ransacked homes during the kidnapping campaign in the West Bank and assaulted some of the detainees and their relatives.

Illegal Israeli settlers and IOFs attack Palestinians in the West Bank, several citizens injured

Saturday 5-October-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A horde of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian farmers and shepherds in different West Bank areas on Friday, while Israeli soldiers opened fire at a young man and injured him in Nablus.

According to local sources, a horde of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers  brutalized Palestinian olive harvesters in Sibastya town, northwest of Nablus, and forced them to leave their groves.

Other groups of armed settlers opened fire at Palestinian shepherds in a grazing area in 'Hizma town, east of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), and forced them to leave the area with their sheep. No one was hurt in the attack.

Meanwhile, the Red Crescent said that its paramedics transferred a 29-year-old young man to a hospital after he suffered a bullet injury in his thigh during clashes between local youths and Israeli forces in 'Oureef town, south of Nablus.

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Khadir town and showered homes and local residents with tear gas. A number of citizens reportedly suffered from inhaling tear gas fumes during the IOFs attack.

In Aree'ha (Jericho), 15 Palestinian workmen suffered injuries and bruises when Israeli police officers savagely assaulted them in Al-'Auja town.

WAFA news agency said that police officers intercepted a car carrying West Bank workers as they returned from their workplace in the Dead Sea area and severely beat them.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian olive farmers in the West Bank village of Al-Lubban Al-Gharbi

Saturday 5-October-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

A horde of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers savagely attacked on Saturday morning Palestinian farmers as they were collecting olives from a grove belonging to them in Al-Lubban Al-Gharbi village, northwest of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, the illegal Israeli settlers, escorted by Israeli occupation soldiers, brutalized Palestinian olive farmers in the Bara’ish area of the village and injured five of them.

The settlers also caused damage to the farmers’ vehicles and forced them to stop picking olives and leave the area.

The Israeli occupation forces and settlers had carried out 1,344 attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property in last September, according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.

Settler violence against Palestinians is a daily issue in the West Bank. Instead of taking action to combat their crimes, the Israeli military and security authorities aid and abet settlers in harming Palestinians and seizing their lands.

Settlers carry out a variety of violent acts against Palestinians under military protection, including physical assaults, stone throwing, threats and harassment, damaging of trees and crops, vandalism of cars, blocking of roads and even firing of live ammunition.

However, their crimes increase during the Palestinian olive harvest season.

Palestinian resistance factions: No agreement until the aggression on Gaza ends

Saturday 5-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian resistance factions said they will not sign any agreement or deal unless the people’s demands are achieved, especially putting an end to the Israeli aggression, complete withdrawal of the Israeli occupation army from the Gaza Strip, opening the crossings, breaking the siege, starting reconstruction, and accomplishing a serious prisoner exchange deal.

This came in a statement by the factions following a meeting on Saturday in the Gaza Strip on the first anniversary of the Al-Aqsa flood Battle on October 7, 2023, and in light of the ongoing Israeli genocidal war being waged against the Palestinian and the Lebanese people.

The factions affirmed that the resistance is in good situation, pointing out that there is a high and continuous coordination among the factions, stressing that the Palestinian people are the only party who has the right to self-determination for the day following the war.

The factions valued the positions rejecting the Israeli occupation projects and plans, calling on the Palestinians to further engage in the battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood, and urging the factions to hold a comprehensive national dialogue to complete the outcomes of the Moscow and Beijing meetings.

The factions called for immediate and urgent action everywhere in the world to push for ending the genocidal war and to hold Israel accountable for its crimes.

Massive protest in Cape Town marks one year of Israeli genocide on Gaza

CAPE TOWN, October 5, 2024 (WAFA) —

A massive demonstration took place in Cape Town today, commemorating the one-year anniversary of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Approximately 60,000 participants gathered to express their solidarity with the Palestinian cause, waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans condemning the Israeli occupation and the relentless atrocities in Gaza.

Protesters voiced their support for South Africa's legal action against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). As part of their efforts, demonstrators submitted a petition to the South African Parliament, calling for the establishment of a parliamentary unit to combat the Israeli apartheid system.

In December 2023, South Africa filed a lawsuit against Israel at the ICJ, alleging violations of the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

The South African government has requested the court to consider urgent measures in light of the critical situation in Gaza, with hearings on these precautionary measures held in The Hague on January 11 and 12 of this year.

Gaza Endowment: IOFs destroyed 79% of Gaza’s mosques, 3 churches, exhumed dozens of graves

Saturday 5-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) destroyed 79% of mosques in the Gaza Strip during the year of the ongoing war of genocide on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, according to the Ministry of Awqaf (endowment) and Religious Affairs.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry reported statistical data on the destruction and damages inflicted by the Israeli war on Islamic and Christian holy places in Gaza.

The Gaza Endowment said the IOFs caused complete destruction to 814 out of 1,245 mosques in the Gaza Strip, at a rate of 79%, and 148 mosques were partially damaged, while three churches were completely destroyed across Gaza City.

The ministry indicated that IOFs bombed a number of mosques and prayer halls on top of safe worshipers, as happened in the prayer hall of the Al-Tabi’een School in Gaza City, causing a massacre that claimed the lives of dozens of martyrs and wounded many others.

The Ministry also reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted 19 out of a total of 60 cemeteries in the Gaza Strip, leading to complete destruction of eight cemeteries, and partial damage to 11 graveyards.

TheMinistry monitored Israeli crimes including exhuming graves, stealing thousands of bodies of the dead and martyrs, and mutilating them, noting that the statistics related to the cemeteries have not yet been completed due to the difficulty of accessing a number of them in light of the ongoing war of extermination.

It revealed that 11 administrative and educational headquarters affiliated with the ministry were not spared from direct targeting, representing 79% of the total number of the ministry’s 14 headquarters in the Gaza Strip, with nine of which completely destroyed.

The Ministry indicated that the completely destroyed headquarters included the ministry’s main headquarters, the headquarters of the Holy Quran Radio, the Khan Yunis Endowments Directorate, the Antiquities and Manuscripts Center, the Endowments Sharia School for Boys, and the College of Islamic Propagation – Northern Branch.

The Ministry added that the IOF destroyed nine of its vehicles, six of which were completely destroyed, and three others were severely damaged, while the number of martyrs among the ministry’s employees, preachers, and imams reached 238 martyrs, in addition to 19 detainees in Israeli jails.

The Ministry condemned the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, holy sanctities, and cemeteries, calling on all countries of the world and international organizations to condemn these heinous crimes against humanity and places of worship and to intervene to stop the war of genocide.

Saturday 5-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday that “the children of Gaza should receive a second dose of the polio vaccine, starting on October 14.”

The head of the World Health Organization’s emergency response in the occupied Palestinian territories, Ayadil Saparbekov, said that “discussions are underway with the Israeli authorities and with partners on the ground.”

“This should begin within 10 days. We hope that the second round of vaccination will be completed on October 29”, Saparbekov added.

He pointed out that “a meeting is scheduled to be held on Sunday to confirm the date,” estimating that “590,000 children should be vaccinated.”

The Israeli occupation army has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, with US and European support, leading to the martyrdom of more than 41,802 citizens, the injury of more than 96,844 others, and the displacement of 90% of the population of the Strip, according to UN data.

First female President of Ireland, Mary Robinson: Israel acts with impunity in the middle east

Saturday 5-October-2024

DUBLIN, (PIC)

Mary Robinson, the first woman to serve as President of Ireland (1990-1997), stated that Israel operates in the Middle East without facing consequences. In an interview with Radio 1, part of the Irish Broadcasting and Radio Authority, she noted that “the world watches as Israel crosses all red lines and commits horrific violations of international law.”

Robinson, who was the seventh president of Ireland, emphasized that “on an international level, the lives of people in Gaza and Lebanon are viewed as much less valuable than those in Israel.” She explained that the United States holds the only leverage capable of compelling Israel to comply and implement a ceasefire, urging Washington to halt its arms supply to Tel Aviv.

Robinson believes that if the United States stops supplying arms to Israel, Europe will follow suit. The former Irish president criticized Israel’s ability to evade consequences for its actions in Gaza, stating, “It has not felt that it has paid the price.”

Robinson currently serves as the president of the non-governmental organization “The Elders,” which was founded in 2007 by former South African President Nelson Mandela to include prominent leaders and globally recognized figures.

With unwavering American support, Israel has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in over 138,000 Palestinian fatalities and injuries, the majority of whom are children and women, along with more than 10,000 missing persons, amid massive destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of dozens of children, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

Disregarding the international community, Israel continues its massacres in Gaza, ignoring a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate halt and orders from the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.

In an interview with France Inter on Saturday, Macron emphasized that France has not provided weapons to Israel during the current war. "The priority today is to return to a political solution and to stop delivering arms to Israel for its operations in Gaza," Macron stated.

He urged for an immediate cessation of arms shipments used in the war as part of a broader effort to achieve a political resolution.

Macron highlighted the need to avoid further escalation, expressing concern for the Lebanese population, stating, "We must not sacrifice the Lebanese people; Lebanon cannot become another Gaza."

Of note, a report from the French Ministry of Defense has revealed that arms exports from France to Israel amounted to 30 million euros (approximately $33 million) last year.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
