Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry:

By October 3, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 51,788+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (41,788), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+). 

By October 3, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 96,794.

By October 3, 2024, 722 Palestinians who were killed, 5,788 who were injured, and 11,117, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

By October 3, 2024, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 101 Lebanese civilians were killed, 250 were injured, by the Israeli genocidal raids on Lebanon, in the past 24 hours. Thus, the Lebanese death toll, since October 8, 2023, has surged to 1,974 fatalities and 9,384 casualties.

Since September 23, 2024, the Lebanese death toll rose to 1,174 and the injuries to 3,205 , including 127 children and 261 women.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

'Israel' killed 1,974, people, injured 9,384 in aggression on Lebanon

The Lebanese Health Minister says "Israel" killed 40 healthcare workers in its targeting of Lebanese hospitals.

The Lebanese Health Ministry has reported that Israeli aggression on various Lebanese areas has killed 1,974 people and wounded 9,384 others since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the country on October 8, 2023, and its expansion about a week ago.

Lebanon's caretaker Health Minister Firas Al-Abyadh announced that the 1,974 death toll includes 127 children and 261 women, in addition to 9,384 wounded.

According to Al-Abyadh, the raids launched by the Israeli occupation targeted many hospitals, killing 40 healthcare workers.

An Israeli airstrike struck the al-Bashoura area in the heart of Beirut overnight Wednesday, tragically killing seven paramedics and injuring several others affiliated with the Islamic Health Association.

Commenting on the strike, the EU's foreign policy chief decried the targeting of healthcare workers, saying, "Not only civilians are victims of attacks, including in densely populated areas, but they are deprived of emergency care."

Borrell further condemned "this violation of IHL."

Israeli occupation forces have relentlessly continued their aggressive campaign against Lebanon for the 11th consecutive day, launching a series of intensive raids on the Southern Suburb and the capital, Beirut, at dawn Thursday.

The aggression resulted in a number of martyrs, injuries, and widespread destruction, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region. According to Lebanese sources, Israeli aircraft and naval vessels executed approximately 20 airstrikes on the Southern Suburb of Beirut during the night. 

The raids targeted key strategic locations, including Al-Sayyid Hadi Highway, the Jamous Street intersection, a building next to Hadi Stadium, and the al-Arid Street building.

Ongoing aggression on Southern Lebanon, Biqaa' Valley

In the Biqaa' Valley, Al-Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces conducted airstrikes at dawn on the heights of Massa, located on the outskirts of Nabi Sheet. The raids targeted the town of 'Ali Al-Nahri, as well as the city of Hirmil and the town of 'Harfoush in the Baalbek region. 

Meanwhile, in South Lebanon, the Israeli occupation Air Force conducted continuous artillery shelling targeting the town of Kfar Kila for over an hour on Wednesday night.

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the sounds of explosions and artillery fire persisted in several villages along the Lebanese-Palestinian border, while sirens continued to wail in the occupied territories. Our correspondent reported that "Israeli artillery has been continuously shelling the towns of Al-Khiyam and Arnoun in South Lebanon."

Our correspondent also spoke about a series of Israeli raids targeting the areas surrounding Al-'Hadath, 'Harit Huraik, and Ghobairy in the Southern Suburb of Beirut. Israeli raids also targeted Hezbollah's Media Relations Office in the Moawwad area.

Meanwhile, the northern district of Hirmil witnessed an Israeli raid in Wadi Hanna on the Syrian-Lebanese border and another attack that targeted a house in the town of Maysra in Futou'h Keserwan.

On another note, since Wednesday morning, the Israeli army has been attempting to carry out a ground invasion into South Lebanon but has encountered fierce resistance from Hezbollah. During this confrontation, Hezbollah reportedly killed eight Israeli soldiers, including officers, and wounded dozens within just a few hours.

In contrast, sirens continue to wail at an unprecedented rate across occupied Palestine, following heavy missile, drone, and artillery fire from Hezbollah targeting military sites and settlements. This escalation occurs amidst a strict Israeli blackout on reporting human and material losses.

Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon result in three casualties, including soldier

BEIRUT, October 3, 2024 (WAFA) —

Three Lebanese individuals, including a soldier from the Lebanese Army, lost their lives today as Israeli airstrikes targeted various regions across Lebanon.

According to the National News Agency, the Israeli air force conducted an attack on the city of Bint Jubail, south of the country, while a drone strike hit the town of Qouneen, resulting in civilian casualties. 

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army confirmed the killing of one of its soldiers following an Israeli strike on a military position in the town of Bint Jubail.

In addition, airstrikes were reported on a home in the Kayfoun area of Mount Lebanon and three locations in the southern district of Beirut, including one on 'Harit Huraik.

Meantime, in a concerning development, the Israeli military issued evacuation warnings to residents in 25 villages in southern Lebanon. The listed villages include Al-Kharayib, Al-Arza, Al-Zarariyah, 'Adloun, Ansar, and several others.

Israeli genocidal airstrikes on southern Lebanon kills and injures dozens of civilians

As its genocidal war on Lebanon entered day 11 on Thursday, the Israeli occupation army continued to launch aerial attacks on the east and south of Lebanon, especially the southern suburb of Beirut, killing and injuring dozens of people, mostly civilians.

According to Lebanese media outlets, Israeli warplanes carried out at least 20 raids on Beirut’s southern suburb in the past few hours.

Lebanon’s health ministry said that six civilians were martyred and seven others were injured in an Israeli airstrike at dawn in Al-Bashoura area in central Beirut.

Before the airstrikes that happened last night on Lebanon, the health ministry said that 46 people were killed and 85 others were injured following Israeli air raids during the past 24 hours in different areas of Lebanon.

Since Wednesday morning, Israeli ground forces have been trying to invade southern Lebanon, but they have been facing fierce resistance from 'Hizbullah fighters. Dozens of Israeli occupation soldiers were either killed or injured in Lebanese border areas.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 41,788 martyrs

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Thursday that the Israeli occupation army committed eight massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring at least 268 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 99 martyrs and 169 wounded citizens were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 41,788 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 96,794 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7, 2023.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

US-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 363

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 363 on Thursday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and shelter centers and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

According to media sources, an Israeli drone targeted a group of citizens in Khirbet Al-'Adas area in the north of Rafa'h, killing two of them and injuring others.

A child was also martyred in an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the family of Abu Khousa, in the west of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Another airstrike on a house in the same refugee camp injured a number of people.

Civilian casualties, including five martyrs, were also killed when the Israeli army bombed homes in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

18 Palestinians killed by an Israeli genocidal air strike on Toulkarm refugee camp

TOULKARM, October 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

At least 18 Palestinian civilian citizens were killed and several others were injured tonight by an Israeli genocidal air strike, which targeted a popular café in the Toulkarm refugee camp, located in the northern occupied West Bank.

According to our correspondent, Israeli warplanes fired at least one missile at the café in Al-Hamam neighborhood while numerous civilians were present. The deadly strike resulted in the murder of 18 individuals and left others with varying degrees of injuries.

Civil defense and ambulance vehicles rushed to the scene to assist the victims, transporting the injured to the Thabit Governmental Hospital in Toulkarm.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams transported the bodies of some of the victims, along with one injured person, to hospital.  

This massacre is considered the largest in the West Bank in over 24 years, and it is part of a broader context of ongoing Israeli attacks in the region, which have escalated since the onset of the Israeli genocidal onslaught against the Palestinian population in October of last year. 

Toulkarm and its neighboring refugee camps, Toulkarm, and Nour Shams, have experienced multiple incursions by Israeli occupation forces, along with airstrikes that have resulted in numerous fatalities, injuries, and significant damage to infrastructure over the last few months.

Youth killed by Israeli occupation forces in Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), October 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian young man was killed this evening after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the southern area of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), south of the occupied West Bank.

The Ministry of Health, citing the General Authority for Civil Affairs, confirmed the death of Sala'h Ziyad Shawaheen, 23, following his injury from live ammunition fired by Israeli occupation forces, south of the city.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire on Shawaheen, who was subsequently injured and detained. He was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.

This incident adds to the ongoing tensions in the region and raises concerns over the use of force by Israeli occupation forces in areas with civilian population.

Four Palestinians injured at Israeli checkpoint near Aree'ha (Jericho)

Aree'ha (Jericho), October 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

Four Palestinian citizens sustained injuries and bruises this evening while passing through a checkpoint erected by the Israeli occupation forces at an entrance to the city of Aree'ha (Jericho) in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the injuries occurred when Israeli forces physically assaulted the individuals at the military checkpoint.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime has been restricting the movement of Palestinians into and out of cities and villages across the occupied West Bank, setting up checkpoints and harassing residents.

IOFs raid homes, kidnap citizens in the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) raided several homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOFs forced three families last night to evacuate their homes before ransacking them and turning them into military posts in the villages of 'Aneen and Nazlet Zaid.

In al-Khalil, the IOF has placed some neighborhoods in the central area of al-Khalil City under curfew until next Sunday and closed the Ibraheemi Mosque at the pretext of securing the area for the illegal Israeli Jewish settler celebrations.

Israeli occupation forces also kidnapped three citizens from Al-Khaeeil City and another one from 'Halhoul town.

In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnapped six citizens, including two brothers, during raids in different areas.

In Nablus, two young men were taken prisoners during the IOFs raids in the villages of Tel and 'Awarta.

Israeli occupation forces raid the village of Marda, assault a man and seize vehicles

SALFIT, October 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Marda, located in the occupied West Bank province of Salfeet, this evening, where they assaulted a local resident and confiscated two vehicles.

Local sources reported to WAFA that Israeli troops broke into the village and positioned themselves in its center, closing off several shops. During the raid, they detained and physically assaulted a citizen after subjecting him to search procedures.

Senior Hamas delegation meets with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Doha

A senior 'Hamas delegation headed by Mu'hammed Darweesh, Chairman of the Movement’s Shoura Council, met with President Mas'oud Pezeshkian of Iran during his visit to the Qatari capital, Doha, on Thursday.

According to a Hamas statement, the two sides discussed the overall political and field developments related to the Palestinian cause, particularly the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, which has escalated into a broader assault targeting various areas of Lebanon.

The 'Hamas delegation emphasized the strategic relationship with the Islamic Republic and the resistance axis, praising the support provided to the Palestinian people in their ongoing struggle against the “Zionist enemy”, especially in retaliation for the assassination of the martyr leader Isma'eel Haniyya, head of Hamas’s political bureau, in Tehran.

The delegation expressed its heartfelt condolences regarding the martyrdom of His Eminence Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, and several party leaders due to consecutive Israeli assassination crimes.

The 'Hamas delegation included several leaders: Khalid Mish'al, Khaleel Al-'Hayyah, 'Husam Badran, and Mu'hammed Nasr. The Iranian delegation also included Foreign Minister 'Abbas 'Araqchi and Iran’s Ambassador in Do'ha 'Ali Sali'h 'Abadi.

For his part, President Pezeshkian said that the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyya, head of Hamas’s political bureau, was one of the most painful events of his life. He said, “Martyr Haniyya was a guest participating in my oath-taking ceremony, but hours later, I heard the news of his treacherous assassination, which was very painful for me.”

He affirmed that the crimes committed by the “Zionist entity today in Gaza and Lebanon pierce the heart of every human being,” explaining that “this pain is even greater for those of us who consider the oppressed Palestinian people as our brothers in faith.”

The President strongly criticized the shameful behavior of the US and Western countries in supporting Israel under the guise of democracy and the pretense of defending human rights.

Lazzarini: International humanitarian response prolongs Israeli occupation of Palestine

NEW YORK, October 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), stated today that the current shape of the international humanitarian response is extending the duration of the Israeli occupation of Palestine, which has been deemed illegal by the International Court of Justice.

In an article published on the UN News website, Lazzarini highlighted the grave risk of the international community becoming "complicit in international crimes" one year into the Israeli war on Gaza.

He noted that the ongoing conflict reveals a troubling lack of mutual empathy and that the very rule of law capable of halting the "slide into barbarism" is itself losing its value.

Lazzarini warned that without adherence to international law, the world may follow the same fate as Gaza.

He remarked, "In the occupied Palestinian territories, the operational space is rapidly shrinking, not only for UNRWA but for anyone—individuals, organizations, or states—advocating for adherence to international humanitarian law or supporting a peaceful political solution to this decades-long conflict."

UNRWA cannot quantify the horrors people in Gaza have endured relentlessly

NEW YORK, October 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

The United Nations Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) Thursday stated that it cannot qualify the horrors that the Palestinian people have endured relentlessly due to the ongoing and year-long Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.

“We are now 12 months into this war and I can tell you that 1.9 million people have been displaced. I can tell you that a reported that 41,000 people have been killed. I can tell you that 63 percent of buildings have been damaged or destroyed,” UNRWA Communication Louise Wateridge posted on her X platform account.

“But I cannot quantify the horrors that people have endured relentlessly for 12 months. I cannot fully portray the fear instilled upon an entire population, every hour, of every day,” she added.

“I cannot share the overwhelming smell of blood in hospitals surrounding doctors in despair, unable to save countless children,” she elaborated.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 41,788 Palestinians and injuring 96,794 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Do'ha Declaration calls for ceasefire and humanitarian aid to Gaza

DO'HA, October 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Doha Declaration, issued at the Third Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit focused on "Sports Diplomacy," has emphasized the urgent need for an immediate and complete ceasefire in Gaza, as well as unrestricted access for humanitarian aid to the region.

The summit was inaugurated by heads of state and government from member countries of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue, including President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine.

Leaders expressed deep concern regarding the escalating situation in Gaza, calling for a comprehensive ceasefire and the immediate, unconditional release of all detainees from both sides based on mutual agreements.

They reaffirmed their strong support for Palestine's full membership in the United Nations and stressed the importance of achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue.

Gaza: 800,000 Palestinian students deprived of their right to education, due to the destruction of their schools by the Israeli genocidal occupation regime

At least 800,000 students have been deprived of education for the second school year running since the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip started in October 2023, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

In a statement on Thursday, the ministry explained that the Israeli war on Gaza deprived over 650 primary and secondary school students, as well as about 100,000 higher education students and about 35,000 kindergarten children, of attending their schools.

The ministry accused the Israeli occupation army of persisting in its brutal attacks on Gaza children and depriving them of their right to protection and safe education as the war entered its second year.

The ministry said that the Israeli army had killed, since the beginning of the war, over 11,600 school-age children, adding that tens of thousands of children were also injured and traumatized, with many of them having physical disabilities.

More than 750 teachers and employees working in the education sector were martyred and hundreds of them were injured, while 1,100 higher education students and 134 scientists, academics and professors were also killed and thousands of them were injured, according to the ministry.

“The occupation army has continued to target educational facilities repeatedly, although the remaining ones are being used as shelter centers for the displaced,” the ministry said, accusing Israeli forces of destroying 93 percent of the schools and the facilities belonging to the education sector.

135 academic and administrative buildings belonging to universities, colleges and higher education institutes were also destroyed by the Israeli army during the war, the ministry added.

The ministry called on the international community and its institutions to intervene urgently and take effective steps to ensure the protection of children and educational facilities and pressure the Israeli government to stop its crimes against the education sector.

The ministry also called for pressuring Israel to allow the entry of emergency educational aid into Gaza, including tents, mobile classrooms, stationery and school supplies.
