While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

US air strikes target five underground weapons storage locations in San'a and Sa'da, Yemen

Thursday 17-October-2024

SANA’A, (PIC)

Warplanes of the US-British coalition launched multiple airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, and the northern City of Sa'da early Thursday, the Ansarullah-run Al-Masirah satellite channel reported.

The strikes targeted three sites in San’a, in the areas of A-Jiraf, Hafa and Jarban, as well as two other sites in Sa'da, in the areas of Kahlan and Al-Abla, the channel said.

There was no information from the Yemeni authorities in Sana’a about casualties or material damage.

For his part, US secretary of defense Lloyd Austin said that B-2 stealth bombers conducted “precision strikes” against five underground weapons storage locations belonging to Al-'Houthis (also known as Ansarullah) in Yemen.

The strikes hit “hardened” underground facilities used to store weapons and their components of the kind used by the 'Houthis to target civilian and military vessels in the region, Austin added.

“This was a unique demonstration of the United States’ ability to target facilities that our adversaries seek to keep out of reach, no matter how deeply buried underground, hardened or fortified,” the secretary stressed.

“The employment of US Air Force B-2 Spirit long-range stealth bombers demonstrates US global strike capabilities to take action against these targets when necessary, anytime, anywhere,” he added.

Yemen’s Ansarullah group has been launching rocket and drone attacks against Israeli cities and “Israeli-linked” ships since last November to show solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza, whose population is facing a US-backed Israeli genocidal war.

ýCNN reveals US-British aircraft targeted Houthi weapons depots and underground sitesý at

Belqees TV, 17/10/2024, at 02:35 Yemen local time

ýUS-British aircraft carried out airstrikes on Houthi-affiliated positions on Wednesday evening, targeting weapons depots and underground facilities, according to three US defense officials.ý

ýThe officials told CNN that the facilities housed conventional weapons used to target military and civilian ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.ý

ýAccording to one official, the strikes carried out B-2 bombers, marking the first time the United States has used the stealth strategic bomber to attack the Houthis in Yemen since the beginning of the U.S. campaign.ý

ýThe bomber is much larger than the fighter jets that have so far been used to target Houthi facilities and weapons, and is capable of carrying larger quantities of bombs.ý

ý On the other hand, the 'Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV reported that air strikes targeted the Yemeni capital Sanaa and the city of Saada, according to the Reuters news agency.ý

ýThe attack on the Iran-backed group comes at a time of massive tension in the region, where Israel is expected to respond to the latest Iranian missile strikes ahead of the US elections on November 5, and its conflicts with Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza continue.ý

ýThe strike is the latest in a series of-for-tat attacks between the 'Houthis and the United States, as the 'Houthis have been waging attacks on commercial shipping and maritime assets in the area for months.ý

ýThe strike also comes as U.S. military soldiers began arriving in Israel after the U.S. announced the deployment of the THAAD anti-missile system to help protect Israel in the wake of Iranian missile strikes.ý

'Israel' pulverizes shrine, aggressively raids Lebanese South, Bekaa

By Al-Mayadeen English

October 17, 2023, at 14:21 Beirut local time

The Israeli occupation forces continue to target villages and towns in South Lebanon and Al-Biqaa', killing and injuring more civilians.

The Israeli aggression on Lebanon continues expanding and intensifying, particularly targeting the Lebanese South and Al-Biqaa', while the occupation forces commit the most horrific massacres against Lebanese civilians.

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in the south reported that the occupation forces detonated a religious shrine in the town of Muhaibeeb before withdrawing from the area, noting that the town is only 2.3 kilometers from the Lebanese border.

It is worth mentioning that the shrine destroyed was that of Prophet Benjamin, the son of Prophet Jacob, which dates back over 2000 years.

A video has circulated on social media showing the moment the occupation forces detonated explosive-laden buildings in the town, located in the Marji'youn district in southern Lebanon, including the shrine, as part of the systematic destruction of religious and cultural heritage sites.

The Israeli occupation army intensified its assaults after midnight until morning on villages in the districts of Soor (Tyre) and Bint Jubail, where its warplanes targeted the towns of 'Aita A-Sha'b, Arzoun, Shu'hour, Ma'raka, Toura, 'Haneen, Al-'Hawoush, the Qadmous area, and Faroun, amid heavy hovering of reconnaissance, unmanned, and military aircraft over the two districts, releasing illuminating bombs over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line.

The warplanes targeted a house in the town of Dair Qanoun Al-Nahr, resulting in its destruction and inflicting damage on dozens of surrounding homes.

Meanwhile, reconnaissance drones continue to fly around the clock in the eastern sector, especially over the villages and towns of the Marji'youn district.

In the morning, Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes: the first on the vicinity of Al-Buwaidha near Mar Elias-Mari'ayoun, and the second on the town of Al-'Odyisa.

Israeli warplanes also conducted strikes on the towns of Arnoun and Anqoun, as well as the town of Al-Ri'hani in the Jezzeen area.

Around nine in the morning, the occupation launched an airstrike on a building in the town of Qanaarit in the Sayda district.

The National News Agency reported that heavy artillery shelling was non-stop overnight, targeting the towns of Al-Khiyam, Kfar Kila, the vicinity of Al-Tayba, Rab Thalatheen, Markaba, 'Houla, and the Marji'youn plain.

Additionally, warplanes struck at midnight around the Health Authority center in the Baydar neighborhood of the town of 'Habboush.

Last night in Tayr Debba, an Israeli genocidal airstrike killed three civilians.

Al-Biqaa' under attack

In Al-Biqaa' region, Israeli aircraft targeted the Burghuz Valley with several airstrikes, as well as a house in the town of Qilya, leading to its destruction, with no reports of injuries.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation threatened to attack a building in the area of Sar'een Al-Ta'hta and another building in the area of Tamneen.

According to Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in the region, the occupation has launched over 900 airstrikes on Al-Biqaa' since the onset of the aggression against Lebanon.

During the past three hours, the Israeli occupation forces issued three evacuation warnings for several locations in Al-Biqaa' region. The bombardment began shortly after.

The Israel occupation forces commit more massacres in Al-Nabatiya, Al-Biqaa', killing and injuring dozens of Lebanese civilians

ByAl Mayadeen English Source: Agencies 16 Oct 2024 23:05

The Israeli occupation force continued to target villages and towns in South Lebanon and Al-Biqaa', killing and injuring more civilians.

The Israeli occupation army continued its widespread aggression against Lebanon, systematically targeting villages, towns, and cities in the south, Al-Biqaa' Valley, and the Southern Suburb of Beirut, intensifying the impact on local communities.

Aggression on the South

In a final tally, 16 martyrs, including the mayorof Al-Nabatiya, were killed, while 52 were injured in the Israeli raid on the buildings of Al-Nabatiya Municipality and its Union of Municipalities, according to the Ministry of Health.

Four people lost their lives in an Israeli airstrike that struck a residence in the town of 'Haboush, in Al-Nabatiya district.

Amid the ongoing attacks in the south, hostile Israeli warplanes targeted the region between the towns of Maifadoun and Al-Nabatiya Al-Fawqa.

Around 6:45 pm today, Israeli occupation warplanes targeted the town of 'Ayta Al-Sha'b, following intermittent artillery shelling on the town and the outskirts of Al-Rumaish at 5:45 pm on Wednesday, according to the National News Agency.

At 4:30 pm, Israeli warplanes conducted a series of raids targeting the towns of Yater and Al-Sultaniya in the Bint Jubail district.

Additionally, Israeli raids targeted villages east of Sour, coinciding with the overflight of enemy reconnaissance drones and warplanes, along with the deployment of thermal balloons in the area.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Red Cross announced in a statement that two paramedics were injured when the site they responded to in the southern town of Juwaya came under attack.

In a statement, the Red Cross clarified, “Following the raid on Jwaya in the south, two Lebanese Red Cross ambulances, along with their crews, departed at 4:30 pm on Wednesday after coordinating with UNIFIL. The crews arrived at the location by 4:52 pm and began searching for the injured to provide treatment and assistance.”

"At 5:10 pm, the site was struck, resulting in two paramedics sustaining minor injuries from shrapnel. The paramedics then returned with both vehicles to Jabal 'Aamil Hospital, where they underwent necessary medical examinations. Their condition is stable and not a cause for concern."

Aggression on Al-Biqaa'

In Al-Biqaa', Al-Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the number of martyrs has risen to 8, with over 30 people injured as a result of the raids that targeted the region on Wednesday.

He explained that the occupation conducted a raid on the town of Al-'Halaniya, as well as on the plains of Youneen and Taraya.

According to Al-Mayadeen's correspondent, the number of injured in the Israeli raid on Al-Yammouna increased to 15. Additionally, two martyrs and nine wounded individuals were reported following the Israeli aggression on the Ba'albek-Riyaq highway.

Fifteen people were also injured, including one serious injury, in an Israeli raid on the town of Al-Yammouna, northwest of Baalbek.

According to the Ministry of Health, yesterday's death toll reached 17 martyrs and 182 wounded distributed as follows:

South Lebanon: Three martyrs and 92 injuries; Al-Nabatiya: Nine martyrs and 49 injuries; Al-Biqaa': Five martyrs and 26 injuries; Ba'albek-Hirmil: 15 injuries.

With these figures, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the death toll from the Israeli aggression since last year has risen to 2,367, in addition to 11,088 injuries.

138 airstrikes were recorded across various areas of Lebanon, primarily in South Lebanon and Nabatieh, over the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of attacks since the onset of aggression to 10,150, according to Nasser Yassin, the coordinator of the government emergency committee and Minister of Environment in the caretaker government.

Israeli occupation army continues its siege of the northern Gaza Strip for the 13th day

GAZA, October, 17, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces continue their bombardment of the northern Gaza Strip for the 13th day, carrying out killings, blowing up homes, and forcibly displacing civilians.

The occupation army is pursuing a policy of systematic destruction of buildings and forcible displacement of citizens in the northern Gaza Strip, especially in Jabalya refugee camp, in light of the suffering of about 400 thousand citizens in the northern Gaza Strip from a strict siege.

The Civil Defense announced that 200 thousand citizens in Jabalya refugee camp have been living without food, drink or medicine for the 13th consecutive day.

The citizens insist on not being displaced to the southern Gaza Strip, despite the war and the intense pressure exerted by the occupation, and its efforts to put the health system in the northern Gaza Strip out of service, after it requested the "Kamal 'Udwan, Indonesian, and Al-'Awda" hospitals to evacuate on the tenth of this month.

Since the beginning of its aggression and new ground invasion of the northern Gaza Strip, the occupation has besieged the town of Jabalya and its camp, preventing residents from fleeing to neighboring Gaza City, and ordering them to flee only via Salah al-Din Street, which extends along the eastern Gaza Strip from north to south.

This is the third ground invasion carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in Jabalia camp since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

On the ground, the occupation's drones opened heavy fire on citizens and their homes in Jabalia camp, and firefighting teams were able to extinguish a large fire in a house near Abu Rashid Pool in Jabalya refugee camp after it was bombed by the occupation.

The Civil Defense reported that war and artillery shelling with phosphorous bombs by the occupation army targeted Khalifa School, which houses displaced people behind Al-Shaikh Zayid Towers in northern Gaza.

The occupation's warships also opened fire towards the coast of Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with artillery shelling that targeted the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza and the vicinity of the port area and the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood in the west of the city.

In Salfeet, a Palestinian child suffered a gunshot injury in the thigh, when the IOFs stormed the city in large numbers, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnapped the two young men, Mu'hammed Sar'han and 'Awda Kamal, after raiding and violently searching their homes in Silwad town.

Meanwhile, two brothers were kidnapped from their family house in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), violent clashes erupted after midnight in 'Anata town after being raided by Israeli military vehicles amid heavy fire of sound and tear gas bombs.

Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Thursday 17-October-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Scores of the illegal extremist Jewish settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Thursday morning, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to local sources, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque through its Al-Maghariba Gate and provocatively toured its courtyards under police protection to mark what they call the Sukkot holiday.

The local sources said that the Israeli occupation police prevented many Muslim worshipers from reaching and entering the Mosque and imposed movement restrictions in the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and its nearby areas at the pretext of securing the holy city for Jewish celebrations.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian farmers while picking olives south of Nablus

NABLUS, October, 17, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers today attacked Palestinian farmers while they were picking olives in the villages of Madama, Rojeeb, and Qusra, south of Nablus.

Local sources reported that the colonists attacked citizens while they were attending their lands and picking olives in the village of Rojeeb, sprayed them with pepper gas, and forced them to leave.

In a related context, an illegal Israeli settler also attacked a citizen while he was picking olives in the village of Madama, south of Nablus, preventing him from completing his work, and forcing him to leave his land.

In Qusra, colonists further forced citizens to leave the olive fields, and seized a vehicle used to transport them and transport the olives after the harvest.

Since the beginning of the olive harvest season, Nablus villages and towns have been suffering from repeated attacks by the occupation and its colonists, forcing citizens to leave their lands, assaulting them, and seizing their crops.

UN experts: Israel must stop violent settler attacks on Palestinian farmers

Thursday 17-October-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

Palestinian farmers in the Israeli-occupied West Bank are facing the most dangerous olive season ever, UN experts said on Wednesday.

The intimidation of farmers, restriction of access to lands, severe harassment and attacks by the illegal Israeli armed settlers and the Israeli occupation forces further undermine the food sovereignty of Palestinian families and are yet another attack on Palestinian self-determination, the experts warned.

“In 2023, the harvest was marred by a sharp increase in movement restrictions and violence by Israeli occupation forces and settlers,” the experts said.

“Last year, Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, faced the highest level of Israeli settler violence, including settlers physically assaulting Palestinians, setting fire or damaging their property and crops, stealing sheep, blocking them from accessing their land, water and grazing areas, causing a record number of Palestinians to be displaced after being forced to leave their homes and lands. Last year, Israel also seized more Palestinian land than in any year in the past 30 years.”

“The olive harvest is central to Palestinian life and culture. The Palestinian people’s relationship to olive trees, which can live for hundreds of years, is also about their relationship to their ancestors and to their future,” the experts said. “Restricting olive harvests, destroying orchards and banning access to water sources is an attempt by Israel to expand its illegal settlements.”

Palestinian farmers, who rely heavily on the olive harvest for their livelihood, face enormous challenges, threats and harassment in accessing their olive trees. In 2023, more than 96,000 dunums of olive-cultivated land across the occupied West Bank remained un-harvested due to Israeli-imposed restrictions, resulting in the loss of 1,200 metric tons of olive oil, amounting to US$10 million.

“This situation is expected to worsen as Israeli authorities have increasingly revoked or failed to issue “prior coordination” permits, which are necessary for farmers to access their lands in certain areas,” the experts warned. “During the 2023 season, nearly all of these approvals were cancelled, and agricultural gates along the West Bank Barrier were largely closed, further obstructing access.”

They urged Israeli forces to refrain from interfering with this year’s olive harvest, and concentrate their efforts on withdrawing the occupation and dismantling the colonies, as stated by the International Court of Justice on 19 July 2024 and reaffirmed by the General Assembly on 18 September 2024.

“Israel is under international legal obligation to first and foremost end their occupation of Palestinian land, which amounts to annexation including through racial segregation and apartheid, immediately cease all new settlement activities and evacuate all settlers from the occupied Palestinian territory. It is also under the obligation to provide full reparation for the damage caused by its human rights violations to all persons concerned, including by returning land, and allowing displaced Palestinians to return to their homes,” they said.

The experts said they were following the situation closely and will continue to call for protection, including through a foreign presence acting as a buffer between the Palestinians and their aggressors, and to protect Palestinian farmers and their families.

The Special Rapporteur on the right to food will be presenting his thematic report “Starvation and the right to food, with an emphasis on the Palestinian people’s food sovereignty” to the General Assembly on 18 October.

Palestinian leader reveals the true intention of the Israeli military operation in northern Gaza

Wednesday 16-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

A senior source in the Palestinian resistance operations room said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation’s operation in northern Gaza and Jabalya refugee camp is devoid of any military objective contrary to what it claims.

The source explained in statements to Aljazeera TV channel that “the operation’s main goal is to complete the destruction of all homes in Jabalya refugee camp for displacement purposes.”

He pointed out that “the Israeli occupation forces storm Jabalya refugee camp at night and plant explosive barrels among homes and withdraw from it during the day to avoid direct clashes with the resistance fighters.”

“The occupation army destroyed entire neighborhoods in Jabalya refugee camp in the past 12 days,” the source pointed out.

Northern Gaza, especially Jabalya refugee camp, is subjected to ongoing genocide crimes and a stifling siege that block the entry of food, water, and medicine supplies.

'Hamas, Jihad condemn German FM remarks, saying her remarks encourage Israel to commit more war crimes in Gaza

Wednesday 16-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement condemned, in the strongest terms, the German Foreign Minister’s Tuesday statements declaring that her government “is not ashamed of (Israel) targeting civilians and hospitals, as long as it provides security for Israel. This is part of our obligations.”

In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas said, “It is shameful that the German Foreign Minister, Annalena Charlotte Alma Baerbock, continues to enable and give cover to the Genocide committed by the Zionist occupation against our people in the Gaza Strip in a blatant bias against international humanitarian law.”

'Hamas held the German government fully responsible for the dangerous consequences of this statement, and its political, legal, moral and human repercussions.

It called on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to take the minister’s remarks as additional evidence of her government’s complicity in the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, and asked the ICJ to withdraw its rejection of the lawsuit filed by Nicaragua against Germany, on charges of violating the 1948 genocide prevention convention through providing Israel with weapons that it used in its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October last year.

'Hamas called for taking immediate emergency measures to force Germany to stop its arms exports to Israel.

For its part, the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine strongly condemned Baerbock’s statements, in which she claimed that the Israel has the right to kill civilians in Gaza for its security.

The Islamic Jihad said in a statement on Wednesday, “these statements represent a serious justification for targeting civil sites, covering up Israeli crimes against civilians, and providing an unethical justification for random attacks that claim the lives of thousands and destroy infrastructure including schools, hospitals and citizens’ homes”.

NYT rebuts pro-Israeli claims that its story on Gaza children being shot in head is “fabricated”

Thursday 17-October-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The New York Times responded to viral claims that photos it published recently of children shot in the head in Gaza were “fabricated.”

The images were included in an op-ed article that cited dozens of volunteer healthcare professionals who described seeing children shot in the head and chest while serving in Gaza.

Dr. Feroze Sidhwa, a trauma and general surgeon who served for two weeks in Khan Younus (Gaza) in March and April, wrote the article last week. He said he saw more than a dozen children shot in the head during those weeks and that he first thought it was the work of a “particularly sadistic soldier” before he heard similar accounts from others.

The article in question detailed his and dozens of other doctors’ chilling accounts of seeing patients — including children — wounded and killed by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza.

Baseless attacks on the New York Times’ essay, which quoted dozens of healthcare workers, were spread widely by pro-Israel social media accounts following its publication on October 9.

However, the editor of The New York Times opinion section issued a forceful statement last Tuesday refuting claims that the news outlet published fabricated or altered CT scan images as part of a recent essay featuring appalling firsthand accounts from US-based healthcare professionals who have worked in Gaza over the past year.

“A recent opinion essay gathered first-hand testimonies from 65 US-based health professionals who worked in Gaza over the past year, who shared more than 160 photographs and videos with Times Opinion to corroborate their detailed accounts of treating preteen children who were shot in the head or chest. Following publication, some readers questioned the accuracy of the accounts and the authenticity of three CT images shown. Those criticisms are unfounded,” New York Times editor Kathleen Kingsbury said.

Kingsbury affirmed that the report had been “rigorously edited” and verified, including through expert opinions and supporting photographs, which the outlet judged as too graphic for publication.

“Times Opinion rigorously edited this guest essay before publication, verifying the accounts and imagery through supporting photographic and video evidence and file metadata. We also vetted the doctors and nurses’ credentials, including that they had traveled to and worked in Gaza as claimed. When questions arose about the veracity of images included in the essay, we did additional work to review our previous findings. We presented the scans to a new round of multiple, independent experts in gunshot wounds, radiology and pediatric trauma, who attested to the images’ credibility. In addition, we again examined the images’ digital metadata and compared the images to video footage of their corresponding CT scans as well as photographs of the wounds of the three young children,” Kingsbury said.

“While our editors have photographs to corroborate the CT scan images, because of their graphic nature, we decided these photos — of children with gunshot wounds to the head or neck — were too horrific for publication. We made a similar decision for the additional 40-plus photographs and videos supplied by the doctors and nurses surveyed that depicted young children with similar gunshot wounds,” she added.

“We stand behind this essay and the research underpinning it. Any implication that its images are fabricated is simply false.”

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
