While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation army is lying and trying to mislead the public opinion by sending flour to northern Gaza, while reinforcing its policy of systematic starvation and continuing its genocide, killing at least 342 martyrs within the past 10 days.

The PGMO added in a statement on Monday evening that the Israeli occupation army has been tightening the siege and closure on the governorates of Gaza and North Gaza for the past 170 consecutive days, blocking all humanitarian outlets and continuing its genocide massacres.

What is going on in the northern Gaza is an actual genocide and ethnic cleansing, with massive destruction of homes, entire residential neighborhoods, streets, roads, infrastructure, hospitals, schools, mosques, and all vital sectors, the statement added, noting that all of that is carried out within the framework of the US-Israeli plan of displacement, the largest and most dangerous US-Israeli plan in the twenty-first century.

The PGMO condemned the heinous Israeli crimes and reiterated its distress call to the international community, all countries of the free world, and to all international organizations to push for the cessation of the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip, especially in the north.

'Hamas calls Israel’s crimes in northern Gaza “full-fledged genocide”

Wednesday 16-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has described what is happening in northern Gaza and Jabalya as a “full-fledged genocide,” expressing its belief that the Israeli “Generals’ Plan” in northern Gaza would be doomed to failure.

“The escalating crimes and massacres in northern Gaza are happening in the midst of news and reports asserting that the occupation government has launched a new phase of genocide called the ‘Generals’ Plan’ to isolate the north of the Gaza Strip and displace its residents,” Hamas said in a statement on Tuesday evening.

“The terrorist occupation army is committing massacres against civilians [in northern Gaza], bombing homes over the heads of their residents, and striking civilian infrastructure, including streets, neighborhoods, bakeries, hospitals and water wells,” 'Hamas affirmed.

“Dozens of bodies are still being buried under the rubble and lying on the ground across the streets of Jabalya, while rescue crews are unable to retrieve them or reach the wounded and those trapped in targeted places. The residents are also facing a tragic humanitarian situation amid tight siege and prevention of all means of life from entering the north,” 'Hamas added.

“The leaked details of this [Israeli] plan, which was revealed by the US Associated Press, is based on tightening the siege on the northern Gaza Strip, cutting off humanitarian aid to hundreds of thousands of Palestinians living there, preventing them from obtaining food and drink, and considering those who remain there as combatants, which means the possibility of targeting and killing them after the area has been declared a closed military zone,” the Movement said.

Venezuelan President compares Netanyahu to Hitler

Tuesday 15-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a “monster created by the European Union and the US Empire.”

The Venezuelan president further compared Netanyahu to the Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, adding that even Hitler did not dare to do what the Israeli Prime Minister is currently doing.

In light of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the declared war against Lebanon, Maduro revealed that what is happening in the Middle East “is not a conflict, but a colonial project by the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe aimed at controlling the region.”

He continued, “Netanyahu bombed hospitals, schools, mosques, and refugee camps in Gaza. Is this a war? This is genocide.”

Commenting on Israel’s targeting of UNIFIL forces south of Lebanon, Maduro stressed that Netanyahu “still has the audacity” to give orders to the United Nations to withdraw peacekeeping forces from southern Lebanon, referring to Israel’s call to UN chief Antonio Guterres to move the UN Interim Force In Lebanon (UNIFIL) away from the Lebanese side of the border.

Finland calls on EU to impose more sanctions on the Israeli occupation apartheid regime

HELSINKI, October 15, 2024 (WAFA) –

Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen called today on the European Union to impose more sanctions on Israel, against the backdrop of its escalation of tension in the Middle East.

This came in statements she made to reporters after participating in a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg, on current developments in the Middle East.

Valtonen said that discussions on expanding sanctions against Israel are ongoing within the European Union, adding that such a decision can only be taken with the approval of all members.

She pointed out that there are differences between countries, "but a clear step must be taken against Israel after its escalation of tension in the region."

Valtonen noted that the sanctions imposed by the European Union on settlers who usurped Palestinian lands, early in 2024, can be expanded to include Israeli officials as well.

UN rapporteur denounces Germany’s defense of Israel’s bombing of Gaza civilians

Tuesday 15-October-2024

ANKARA, (PIC)

The UN rapporteur on Palestine, Francesca Albanese, denounced on Tuesday the defense of German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock of Israel’s bombing of Palestinian civilian displacement sites in Gaza.

Albanese’s comments came in response to the statements of the German Foreign Minister, in which she legitimized Israeli attacks on Palestinian displacement tents.

“As a UN Independent Expert, I am deeply concerned by the stance Germany is taking on Israel/Palestine, and its dangerous implications and consequences,” Albanese said on X.

Minister Baerbock should be invited to provide the evidence of what she claims, and then explain how “civilian objects losing protected status” justify the massacres Israel is committing in Gaza and elsewhere, she added.

“Has Germany decided to stand with a state that is committing international crimes, it is a political choice, but it also has legal implications.”

“May justice prevail where politics abhorrently failed.”

The International Union of Muslim Scholars urges immediate support for Gaza

Wednesday 16-October-2024

ISTANBUL, (PIC)

The International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) has issued an urgent call to the Islamic nation and freedom-loving people worldwide, raising the alarm over the dire situation in Gaza, particularly in the isolated and besieged northern region of the Strip. They called for immediate action and massive demonstrations to expose the crimes of the Israeli occupation.

In a statement released on Monday, the union highlighted that Israeli forces are committing horrific acts of violence against Palestinians in Gaza, who are suffering from “hunger, thirst, famine, killing, and bombing, while the streets are filled with the bodies of martyrs, with no mercy or deterrent.”

The statement emphasized that what is happening in Gaza is not just a military assault but a deliberate act of genocide being committed in plain view of the entire world. It condemned these heinous crimes in the strongest terms, labeling them as war crimes.

The IUMS demanded that the “international community assume its legal, moral, and humanitarian responsibility in response to these ongoing massacres.”

Additionally, the union issued an urgent call to the Muslim world and all freedom-loving individuals, saying, “The time has come for immediate and effective action to support your brothers in Gaza. You must take to the streets in massive protests everywhere, raise your voices on every platform, and expose the crimes of this terrorist and criminal occupation. Every minute that passes without action increases the suffering and adds to the number of victims.”

In a related development, 16 non-governmental Islamic organizations called on Arab and Muslim leaders to “declare a state of emergency” and act to stop the genocide that Israel has been waging against Gaza for over a year.

This joint statement, titled the “Scholars of the Flood Statement,” was signed by prominent Islamic organizations, including the Palestinian Scholars Association, the One Ummah Association, the Eritrean Scholars League, the Association of Sunni Scholars, the Association for Sciences and Education in Algeria, the Council of Preachers in Lebanon, and the Iraqi Coalition for the Support of Al-Aqsa.

The statement was a response to a call from Abu Obaida, spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, who in a video message a week earlier urged Muslim scholars to increase their solidarity and actions in support of Gaza.

The organizations also called on Arab and Muslim leaders to “declare a state of emergency and mobilize armies to repel the Zionist aggression and liberate the holy sites,” stressing the need to provide all forms of support to the Palestinian people and cut ties with Israel, including annulling what they described as “humiliating normalization agreements, which go against the will and interests of the Ummah.”

PLO calls on UNRWA Advisory Commission to stop occupation's measures against Agency

RAMALLAH, October 15, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Palestine Liberation Organization Department of Refugee Affairs called Tuesday the Advisory Committee of the UNRWA to convene an emergency meeting before October 27, the end of the Israeli so-called Knesset (parliament) summer recess, to discuss Israeli legislation against the UN agency.

The department called for the meeting to discuss the Israeli occupation’s decision to seize the land on which UNRWA’s headquarters is located in Al-Shaikh Jarra'h neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem, and turn it into a colonial outpost.

The meeting is also meant to tackle the serious repercussions of these decisions on the region, and ways to take action to prevent their passage.

The department, in a memorandum sent to the Chairman and members of the Advisory Committee, called for urgent action and a firm stand against Israeli legislation and laws legislated by the Israeli Knesset that aim to end UNRWA or undermine its mandate, due to its role in protecting the rights of Palestinian refugees and its international commitment to refugees until a political solution is found in accordance with Resolution 194.

The memorandum warned that the Israeli occupation authorities’ interference in UNRWA’s operations poses a threat to the lives of Palestinian refugees and to its life-saving services, especially in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.

The Refugee Affairs Department explained that the Israeli Knesset is seeking to pass two bills against UNRWA, the first aims to “stop UNRWA’s activities in Israel and the areas it controls,” while the second is to “lift its diplomatic immunity and cut off contact with it,” in a final vote before the end of October.

The bills came after the Israeli Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, headed by its hardline right-wing member Yuli Edelstein, approved them on October 6.

The department pointed out that this comes within the framework of the declared Israeli war against UNRWA, which it began by targeting its employees and destroying its educational, health, relief and shelter facilities, and preventing the UNRWA Commissioner-General from entering the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

New York Times warns of cholera outbreak in Gaza

Tuesday 15-October-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The New York Times highlighted the miserable health situation in Gaza, warning of the threat of cholera outbreak in the Strip and questioning the usefulness of vaccination while the environmental situation created by the Israeli war of genocide increases the chances of the outbreak of new diseases and epidemics unless the war stops.

A New York Times’ opinion article said that diseases and epidemics are sweeping through Gaza, noting that stopping this requires international action to reach an immediate and permanent ceasefire agreement that restores the rights of the people and children in Gaza.

Dr. Mu'hammed Agha Al-Kurdi, a humanitarian worker, highlighted the dire health challenges facing Gaza’s children in light of the war, warning that if the situation continues, the currently widespread polio will not be the only disease threatening their lives.

Al-Kurdi emphasized the worsening health situation, as Israeli bombing hinders vaccination campaigns against polio, and the lack of clean water leads to the spread of epidemics on a large scale.

Al-Kurdi said that he and his team receive 180 cases a day of children suffering from skin diseases such as rashes, herpes, or chickenpox, due to bathing in the sea polluted with sewage water.

With the aim of immunizing 590,000 children, UNRWA, the World Health Organization, UNICEF and partners have begun the second round of the polio immunization campaign in Gaza.

These vital efforts require humanitarian pauses to ensure the safety of children and health care workers.

The contagious polio virus reappeared in Gaza in August in the body of a 10-month-old Gazan baby, prompting the World Health Organization, in cooperation with other groups and organizations, to launch a massive vaccination campaign that includes 680,000 Palestinian children. 559,000 were given the first dose as part of these efforts, despite the difficulty of working under bombardment.

Al-Kurdi pointed out that vaccines do not work effectively if the recipient is malnourished, which is the case in Gaza due to Israel cutting off aid and food supplies.

He wondered about the effectiveness of vaccination campaigns in light of the dire humanitarian conditions, especially since the vaccination consists of two doses that must be separated by a few weeks, noting that “some of the children we vaccinate in the morning arrive at the hospital in the evening with serious injuries due to Israeli airstrikes.”

“What is the logic of allowing the vaccination of children today, when tomorrow they will be threatened by cholera, as doctors predict, or injured by Israeli missiles, or subject to starvation? Celebrating the success of vaccination campaigns rings hollow when other dangers facing children in Gaza remain,” he added.

Al-Kurdi stressed the need for countries to push for ceasefire, repair what Israel has destroyed in Gaza’s health sector and assure that the people of Gaza have the rights and services they deserve.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
