While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Mais Al-Jabal Bids Farewell to Two Martyrs: Hezbollah Affirms ‘Israel’ Will Pay Price of Targeting Civilians

 Al-Manar, May 6, 2024

A massive funeral was held on Monday in the southern town of Mais Al-Jabal, which borders occupied Palestine, to mourn two of the four martyrs claimed by a Zionist air raid on a residential area in the village.

In response to the crime, Hizbullah bombarded with dozens of missiles Zionist settlements and military sites in northern Palestine and Golan Heights.

Qatar: We will not become a tool to pressure any party in our mediation efforts

Monday 6-May-2024

Al-Doa'ha, (PIC)

Qatar has stressed that it will not accept becoming a tool to pressure any party and that it is committed to maintaining its role as an honest mediator between Hamas and Israel, diplomatic sources told Al Jazeera Arabic website.

The sources said on Sunday that Qatar affirms it cannot impose itself on the warring parties and cannot undertake any mediation unless it is asked to do so, and this includes the current mediation between Hamas and Israel.

The diplomatic sources said Qatar’s mediation disturbed certain parties, which have embarked on criticizing and attacking it, to pressure it to stop its role as an honest mediator and turn into a tool for exerting pressure on a party, something that Qatar had not done in the past successful mediations, both in the international and regional arenas.

For his part, Qatari premier and foreign minister Mohamed Al Thani has said Doha is in the process of evaluating its role in this mediation, stressing that Qatar sees this mediation as being misused for narrow political interests.

'Hamas delegation leaves Cairo talks for consultations

Sunday 5-May-2024

CAIRO, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said in a statement on Sunday that the current round of ceasefire talks in the Egyptian capital has ended, and that its negotiating team will leave for Doha this evening after two days of meetings.

“The Movement’s delegation had delivered the Movement’s response to the mediator brothers in Egypt and Qatar, where in-depth and serious discussions took place with them”, Hamas’s statement reads.

The statement mentioned that Hamas’s key demands include “a complete end” to the fighting, Israeli withdrawal “from the entire Gaza Strip, the facilitation of the return of displaced people, the intensification of relief efforts, the start of reconstruction and the conclusion of a prisoner exchange deal.”

A 'Hamas official said in press statements that the group’s negotiators in Cairo were leaving for Doha Sunday after talks ended in the Egyptian capital, part of mediation efforts towards a truce in Gaza.

“The Movement showed flexibility during the negotiations in accordance with what best served the interests of the Palestinian people,” said Ma'hmoud Al-Mardawi, the Hamas official.

Abu Marzouq: If IOF invades Rafa'h, it will reap nothing but failure and scandal

Monday 6-May-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

In an interview with Al-Aqsa TV on Sunday evening, the head of Hamas International Relations Office Dr. Musa Abu Marzouq announced that a meeting would be held soon between the Palestinian factions in the Republic of China, expressing hope that it will culminate in ending the division.

Commenting on the latest Gaza developments, Abu Marzouq said, the US supports Israel with everything it has got, stressing that here are other axes in the world with which we seek relations.

He added that the US and Israel “contacted all the countries in the world at the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation to condemn Hamas.”

The Hamas official pointed out that “one of the enemy’s declared goals was to defeat Hamas, and what happened was that the Arab and Islamic nation embraced the Movement in an unusual way.”

Abu Marzouq conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the steadfast people in Gaza, noting that more than 85 thousand tons of US bombs fell on Gaza while Palestinians are still clinging to their land.

He said, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have failed to achieve any of its goals and have not succeeded in releasing a single prisoner.

Abu Marzouq stressed that “the Israeli occupation fears entering Rafa'h because it will be a scandal and they will only reap failure.”

He also pointed out that the US administration’s positions are linked to electoral interests, and therefore it comes out with conflicting statements.

He reiterated that Hamas insists that any prisoner swap deal with Israel must include a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

Abu Marzouq concluded his speech saying that the resistance seeks to include Russia, Turkey, and China as guarantors in any upcoming deal.

Israeli government shuts down Al Jazeera TV offices, seizes its equipment

Sunday 5-May-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The hard-line Israeli occupation government has ordered the local offices of Qatar’s Al Jazeera satellite news network to close Sunday following months of closure threats against the channel by premier Benjamin Netanyahu and his far-right ministers.

The Israeli order, which includes confiscating broadcast equipment, preventing the broadcast of the channel’s reports and blocking its websites, was issued in the midst of ongoing Qatari mediation efforts to end the war on the Gaza Strip.

According to the Associated Press (AP), Al Jazeera went off Israel’s main cable provider in the hours after the order. However, its website and streaming links across multiple online platforms still operated Sunday.

For its part, Al Jazeera has strongly denounced the Israeli government’s decision to close its news operations in Israel as a “criminal act” and warned that the country’s suppression of the free press “stands in contravention of international and humanitarian law.”

“Al Jazeera Media Network strongly condemns and denounces this criminal act that violates human rights and the basic right to access of information. Al Jazeera affirms its right to continue to provide news and information to its global audiences,” the network said in a statement on Sunday.

“The Network vehemently rejects the allegations presented by Israeli authorities suggesting professional media standards have been violated. It reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the values embodied by its code of ethics,” it said.

The statement comes after Netanyahu’s cabinet voted unanimously to close Al Jazeera’s operations in Israel, weeks after Israel’s parliament passed a law allowing the temporary closure of foreign broadcasters considered to be a threat to national security during the months-long genocidal war on Gaza.

Netanyahu announced the decision on X, formerly Twitter. “The government headed by me unanimously decided: the incitement channel Al Jazeera will be closed in Israel,” he posted in Hebrew.

Following the decision, the Israeli police sent plain-clothes officers to raid Al Jazeera’s office in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

In another X post, Israeli communications minister Shlomo Karhi said he had signed the orders against Al Jazeera, which would be effective immediately.

The network has reported the Israeli war on Gaza nonstop since the al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas launched its cross-border operation on October 7, 2023 and has maintained 24-hour coverage of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza that has killed and wounded members of its own staff.

32 percent of these violations were on Instagram, 26 percent on Facebook, 16 percent on WhatsApp, 14 percent on TikTok and 12 percent on X, according to Sada Social.

73 of these violations targeted visual materials (photos and videos) related to the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, Sada Social pointed out.

These social media platforms also contained over 13,000 postings inciting against the Palestinians, and calling for starving and killing them and attacking their West Bank villages and towns.

Graduates raise Palestinian flag, keffiyeh during graduation ceremonies at US universities.

WASHINGTON, Monday, May 6, 2024 (WAFA) –

Hundreds of graduates of American universities raised the Palestinian flag and keffiyeh (the two main symbols of Palestinian struggle for freedom) during graduation ceremonies at several universities including Michigan, Boston, and Chicago, as an expression of solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

The students raised the Palestinian flag as part of the protest activities against the refusal of university administrations to stop investments and cooperation with Israel, and to submit to the demands of the students, and in rejection of the arrest of more than 2,500 student protesters at universities by US police.

Additionally, schools in the state of Illinois joined student protests across the US, demanding an end to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, reflecting another shift in the course of the protests in America that may prompt other educational and academic institutions to join the activities.

Columbia University cancels its graduation ceremony amid ongoing pro-Palestinian protests

NEW YORK, Monday, May 6, 2024 (WAFA) –

Columbia University in New York, which is witnessing demonstrations denouncing the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, and in solidarity with Palestine, announced on Monday that it has decided to cancel its graduation ceremony next week.

The university said it would "abandon the university-wide ceremony scheduled for May 15" and will organize a series of small events instead.

The student movement was sparked in the United States of America, on April 18, when students rejecting the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip began a sit-in on the campus of Columbia University in New York, demanding that its administration stop its academic cooperation with Israeli universities and withdraw its investments in companies that support the occupation.

Students in American universities are seeking to put pressure on the American administration to withdraw investments from the occupying state and the companies that support it, and to boycott Israeli universities that are complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people.

Later, the unprecedented student movement in support of Palestine in the United States expanded to universities in countries such as France, Britain, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, India and Australia, all of which witnessed demonstrations in support of their counterparts in American universities and demands to stop the aggression and boycott the companies that supply weapons to Israel.

Euro-Med Monitor warns of the devastating consequences of an Israeli attack on Rafa'h

Monday 6-May-2024

RAFAH, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Monitor for Human Rights has warned of the repercussions of the Israeli occupation army’s issuance of evacuation orders for the displaced in Rafa'h, the southernmost city in the Gaza Strip. This move appears to be a prelude to the start of a military operation that the Monitor believes represents an announcement of the execution of over 1.2 million Palestinians in the city and an escalation of the crime of genocide.

In a statement released on Monday, the Euro-Med Monitor stated that the Israeli army has warned civilians to evacuate the eastern neighborhoods of Rafa'h towards the Mawasi area west of the neighboring city of Khan Yunis, without any clarification on how civilians will be safely transported to the mentioned area or how they will be organized upon arrival.

The areas affected by the evacuation orders include the Abu Yousuf Al-Najjar Hospital, the central hospital in Rafa'h, as well as the Rafa'h border crossings and the commercial crossing at Karm Abu Salim. It should be noted that the entry of aid trucks through these crossings has been suspended since Sunday afternoon, according to the statement.

The Euro-Med Monitor pointed out that the new Israeli evacuation orders contain a number of serious errors, including contradictory information and the incorrect naming of areas, which do not provide any safe haven for civilians.

It warned that any Israeli ground military operation in Rafa'h poses a grave danger of committing horrific massacres and the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of civilians, especially children and women, and halting life-saving humanitarian relief operations throughout the Gaza Strip.

It also warned that the imminent invasion of Rafa'h foreshadows a large-scale displacement and raises serious concerns about the scenario of forced displacement and expulsion from the Strip.

The Euro-Med Monitor noted that Rafa'h is a center for humanitarian relief operations and the entry point for life-saving supplies, where dozens of relief organizations store supplies provided to civilians. This indicates an escalation of the policy of starvation against the people of the Strip and exacerbates the spread of diseases resulting from the military operation.

It stated that the imminent Israeli ground attack on Rafa'h may represent the bloodiest escalation against Palestinian civilians, leading to a larger wave of displacement, further overcrowding, blocking access to basic food needs and water, and the potential complete collapse of the already semi-destroyed health system.

The international community is called upon to fulfill its international legal obligations to stop the genocide being committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip and to activate real pressure tools to compel it to stop its military attack, the Monitor concluded.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 34,735 martyrs

Monday 6-May-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed five massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 52 civilians and injuring over 90 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but only 142 of them, including 52 martyrs, were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 34,735 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 78,108 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.
