While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

UN: 37 Palestinian mothers killed every day in Gaza

Friday 8-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

An estimated 9,000 women have been reportedly killed by Israeli forces in Gaza to date, UN estimates revealed on Women’s Day.

As the war on Gaza approaches its five-month mark, Gazan women continue to suffer its devastating impact. While this war spares no one, UN Women data shows that it kills and injures women in unprecedented ways.

Every day the war in Gaza continues, and at the current rate, an average of 63 women daily will continue to be killed, the UN data showed.

As the UN warns of a looming famine, an estimated 37 mothers are killed every day, leaving their families devastated and their children with diminished protection.

More than 4 out of 5 women (84 percent) report that their family eats half or less of the food they used to before the war began, with mothers and adult women being those tasked with sourcing food, yet eating last, less, and least than everyone else.

4 in 5 women (84 percent) in Gaza indicate that at least one of their family members had to skip meals during the past week. In 95 percent of those cases, mothers are the ones going without food, skipping at least one meal to feed their children.

Gaza’s entire population of 2.3 million people will be facing acute levels of food insecurity within weeks—the highest ever recorded, as Gaza is on the verge of starvation.

Nearly 9 in 10 women (87 percent) report finding it harder to access food than men. Some women are now resorting to extreme coping mechanisms, such as scavenging for food under rubble or in dumpsters.

GMO: 8,900 Palestinian women killed, 23,000 injured, 2,100 missing in Gaza

Friday 8-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Government Media Office (GMO) revealed that Israel’s genocidal aggression on Gaza has claimed the lives of 8,900 Palestinian women and left over 23,000 others wounded, with 2,100 still unaccounted for.

The GMO said in a statement on Friday, “While the world celebrates International Women’s Day on March 8, Palestinian women continue to pay a heavy price for freedom and dignity.”

Describing Israel’s killings of Palestinian women as brutal, the statement criticized the international community for its passivity vis-à-vis such violations.

The Office highlighted that Israel’s war has displaced over half a million Palestinian women, subjecting them to extreme hardships and depriving them of basic necessities like food and medicine.

According to the statement, approximately 60,000 pregnant women are enduring difficult circumstances due to lack of access to essential healthcare and medical supplies. The Office added that hundreds of them “have lost their sons, newborns, or unborn children due to bombing, fear, and Israeli killing.”

The statement also addressed the plight of female Palestinian detainees, condemning the physical and psychological torture they endure.

The GMO praised the “steadfastness” of the Palestinian women, emphasizing their need to defend their rights and life requirements rather than face killing, shooting, detention, displacement, and migration, as it claimed the Israeli occupation army has been doing for over five continuous months.

The Office held the United States, the international community, and all relevant international organizations “fully responsible” for the genocide in Gaza and the harsh conditions imposed on Palestinian women there, criticizing both those who participated in the war and those who remained silent on Israeli crimes.

The statement urged “all the countries of the free world and the international community” to work toward ending the Israeli occupation and taking action to save Palestinian women from ongoing Israeli crimes, “including killing, shooting, arresting, humiliating, torturing, and forcing them to leave their homes, cities, and residential areas.”

Euro-Med warns of escalating environmental catastrophe in Gaza

Friday 8-March-2024

+ -

GENEVA, (PIC)

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor warns that the Gaza Strip is on the verge of an environmental pollution catastrophe as a result of the devastation caused by the Israeli aggression that has been waged against civilians in the blockaded Strip since October 7.

Speaking at the 55th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Euro-Med called on the Council and its member states to put pressure on Israel to immediately stop its indiscriminate attacks on the Gaza Strip and to hold it accountable for its crimes and grave violations.

For his part, Mu'hammed Al-Maghbat, Director of the Regional Office of the Euro-Med Monitor in Beirut, said – in a speech he delivered during an interactive dialogue with the UN Special Rapporteur on the issue of the obligations of human rights to a safe, clean, healthy and sustainable environment – that thousands of Palestinians are languishing under the rubble of their homes in Gaza, after they were destroyed in relentless Israeli airstrikes with no prior notice, while their fate remains unknown to this day.

He added, “Israeli indiscriminate attacks have left more than 70% of residential buildings and infrastructure in Gaza in ruins,” noting that in the midst of this devastation, a major pollution crisis looms on the horizon.

Al-Maghbat explained that with Israel cutting off fuel supplies required to treat sewage and waste, the streets are now filled with increasing piles of garbage with dire consequences.

Contaminated water sources quickly spread diseases, endangering the health and well-being of more than two million residents, he added.

UN rights chief says Israeli colonial expansion a war crime

GENEVA, Friday, March 8, 2024 (WAFA) –

The United Nations human rights chief said today that Israeli colonies in the occupied West Bank have expanded by a record amount and risk eliminating any practical possibility of a Palestinian state.

Volker Turk said that the growth of Israeli colonies amounted to the transfer by Israel of its own population, which he reiterated was a war crime. The US Biden administration said last month the colonies were “inconsistent” with international law after Israel announced new housing plans for colonists in the West Bank.

“Settler violence and settlement-related violations have reached shocking new levels, and risk eliminating any practical possibility of establishing a viable Palestinian State,” Turk said in a statement accompanying the report which will be presented to the Human Rights Council in Geneva in late March.

The 16-page report, based on the UN’s own monitoring as well as other sources, documented 24,300 new Israeli housing units in the West Bank during a one-year period through to the end of October 2023, which it said was the highest on record since monitoring began in 2017.

It also said there had been a dramatic increase in the intensity, severity and regularity of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank by both extremist colonists and the Israeli occupation forces during the same period.

Turk’s report noted that the policies of Israel’s government, which is the most right-wing in the country’s history and includes religious nationalists with close ties to settlers, appeared aligned to an “unprecedented extent” with the goals of the Israeli settler movement.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 154

Friday 8-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 154 on Friday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes, shelter centers and aid convoys, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds of citizens.

Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli forces bombed a residential house belonging to the Abu Silmiya family in Rafa'h, killing five family members, including two women, two children, and their father.

Friday 8-March-2024,

Al-Quds (Jerusalem), (PIC)

Israeli occupation apartheid regime police forces violently assaulted worshipers at the Asbat Gate, one of the main entrances to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem), while trying to perform Friday prayer at the holy site.

Eyewitnesses affirmed that the Israeli forces violently attacked the worshipers, kidnapped two of them, and prevented hundreds’ access to the site.

A group of young men resorted to performing the Friday prayer in the adjacent Ras Al-'Amoud neighborhood due to the severe Israeli restrictions.

Earlier Friday, thousands of Jerusalemites performed the Fajr prayer at the Aqsa Mosque despite the Israeli security restrictions at its gates.

A group of Jerusalemite campaigners and activists earlier called for performing the Great Fajr prayer on Friday in Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards and staying at the holy site to demand lifting the siege imposed on it.
