While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

UN experts condemn flour massacre, urge Israel to end campaign of starvation in Gaza

Wednesday 6-March-2024, NEW YORK, (PIC)

UN experts on Wednesday condemned the violence unleashed by Israeli forces, which killed at least 112 people gathered to collect flour in Gaza last week, as a “massacre” amid conditions of inevitable starvation and destruction of the local food production system in the besieged Palestinian enclave.

“Israel has been intentionally starving the Palestinian people in Gaza since October 8. Now it is targeting civilians seeking humanitarian aid and humanitarian convoys,” the UN experts said. “Israel must end its campaign of starvation and targeting of civilians.”

Israeli troops fired on crowds of Palestinians gathered to collect flour in the south-west of Gaza City on February 29, killing at least 112 people and injuring some 760.

“The attack came after Israel has denied humanitarian aid to Gaza City and northern Gaza for more than a month,” the experts said.

They noted that the February 29 massacre followed a pattern of Israeli attacks against Palestinian civilians seeking aid, with over 14 recorded incidents of shooting, shelling, and targeting groups gathered to receive urgently needed supplies from trucks or airdrops between mid-January and the end of February 2024.

“Israel has also opened fire on humanitarian aid convoys on several occasions, despite the fact that the convoys shared their coordinates with Israel,” the experts said.

On January 26, the International Court of Justice recognized the plausibility of Israel committing genocide and ordered it to allow the delivery of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. In January, before the Court’s decision, an average of 147 trucks entered Gaza every day. Since the ruling was issued, only 57 trucks have entered Gaza between February 9 and 21, 2024.

“Israel is not respecting its international legal obligations, is not complying with the provisional measures of the International Court of Justice, and is committing atrocity crimes,” the experts said.

“Israel systematically denies and restricts the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza by intercepting deliveries at checkpoints, bombing humanitarian convoys, and shooting at civilians seeking humanitarian assistance,” they said.

Over 500,000 civilians living in the northern Gaza Strip are facing worst forms of genocide, says Foreign Ministry

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today said that more than 500,000 civilians living in the northern Gaza Strip are still facing the worst forms of genocide.

The Ministry, said in a statement, that civilians in the northern Gaza Strip are facing the real and imminent risk of death due to the intensity of Israeli airstrikes, which resulted so far in the killing of nearly 30,000 Palestinians.

It confirmed that this war of genocide aims at pushing Palestinian people to leave towards the center and south of the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry warned of the Israeli government’s plans aimed at deepening the humanitarian catastrophe and preventing the entry of aid into the Gaza strip.

The ministry slammed the deliberate attacks on the Palestinian National Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization in an attempt to weaken it and undermine its legitimacy in various ways and forms, most notably perpetuating the occupation.

 GAZA, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 (WAFA) -

According to sources, a fifteen-year-old boy died today in the Al-Shifa medical complex, in addition to a 72-year-old man, who also died in the Kamal Adwan Hospital as a result of severe malnutrition and dehydration.

Medical sources confirmed that the number of victims of malnutrition and dehydration in the Gaza Strip has surged to 20, stressing that the declared toll only reflects the number of people who were able to reach hospitals, noting that dozens are dying in silence as a result of the famine and without being able to reach hospitals.

Gazan child, 15, dies due to malnutrition, dehydration: medical sources

GAZA, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 (WAFA) –

Medical sources said on Wednesday that a 15-year-old Palestinian girl in Al-Shifa Medical Complex has died as a result of malnutrition and dehydration.

The same sources explained that the death toll from malnutrition and dehydration in the Gaza Strip rose to 18.

The Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to an ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, has been caught in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, amounting to famine.

The Israeli authorities continue to prevent and obstruct the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Strip, especially to the northern regions, while the aid that reaches the south is not sufficient for the needs of civilians, especially in Rafa'h, which is considered the last refuge for the displaced, and which, despite its small area estimated at about 65 square kilometers, hosts more than 1.3 million Palestinians.

The United Nations has called for the activation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention to safeguard the healthcare system in northern Gaza.

It has also called for a secure humanitarian corridor for the delivery of medical aid, humanitarian assistance, and fuel to avert the looming humanitarian and health catastrophe in the region.

South Africa calls for military protection for aid convoys to Gaza

Wednesday 6-March-2024, JOHANNESBURG, (PIC)

South Africa’s foreign minister called on Israel’s allies “to send their troops to safely escort hundreds of aid trucks into Gaza as a gesture of humanitarian peace that would save lives.”

In a press conference held on Wednesday, Naledi Pandor said that they have asked their ambassador at the United Nations to make all efforts to talk to other ambassadors and encourage the passing of an urgent resolution for a cease-fire.

“We think at the moment that everybody should be focused on an immediate cease-fire,” Pandor said.

She added that if a cease-fire is not reached, the world will witness a terrible catastrophe even worse than what it has seen unfolding.

“I wish I could say to the people of Palestine and all Muslims ‘Ramadan Mubarak’ (Blessed Ramadan), but for the people of Palestine, I’m just seeing a deadly situation if the world does not address this urgent matter of an immediate cease-fire,” said Pandor.

The top diplomat said if countries with the most powerful militaries such as the US and UK could come together and say they see the harm, suffering and denial of food and water to Palestinians and send their troops to safely escort hundreds of aid trucks into Gaza, this would be a gesture of humanitarian peace that would save lives.

“At this moment…I remain terrified that we are going to see more harm to the people of Palestine…I’m totally feeling useless as a human being that we are unable to rescue people from their deadly situation,” she said.

South Africa has condemned Israel’s war on Gaza and late last year, it accused Israel of genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Netherlands.

South Africa asks ICJ to take more emergency measures against Israel

THE HAGUE, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 (WAFA) -

South Africa has asked the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to order additional emergency measures against Israel in response to the latter's breach of the measures already in place, the U.N.'s top court said today.

In a statement issued today, the South African presidency warned that the desperate people of Gaza cannot wait anymore.

"The threat of all-out famine has now materialized. The court needs to act now to stop the imminent tragedy by immediately and effectively ensuring that the rights it has found are threatened under the Genocide Convention are protected," it added.

South Africa also asked the court to order that Israel take "immediate and effective measures to enable the provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance to address famine and starvation" in Gaza.

It added that the ICJ, also known as the World Court, should take these measures without scheduling a new round of hearings because of the "extreme urgency of the situation".

On December 29, 2023, South Africa filed a lawsuit against Israel, citing its involvement in "acts of genocide" against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, a move that was supported by dozens of countries, marking a historic precedent in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

South Africa submitted to the court a dossier of 84 pages, compiling evidence of Israel killing thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and creating conditions "conducive to inflicting physical destruction" on them, which is considered a crime of "genocide" against them.

On January 26, the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel must take all measures to prevent acts prohibited under the Genocide Convention and to take steps to ensure the immediate provision of urgent humanitarian needs for the Gaza Strip.

On February 13, South Africa made an urgent request to the court to consider Israel's decision to expand its military offensive to Rafah. It explained that it asked the court to determine whether it needed to use its authority to prevent further violations of the rights of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The decision comes exactly one year after far-right finance minister Bezalel Smotrich received authority over civilian matters in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Israel Hayom newspaper noted.

“This year we have done great things for the settlements. Along with the approval of these housing units, we are promoting a series of settlements, land surveys, security, roads, and other announcements in the West Bank and Jerusalem on an unprecedented scale,” Smotrich said after the plan was announced today.

During last February, 1,066 violations had been committed by Israeli forces and 129 violations by settlers in the occupied Palestinian territories, according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.

These violations include the annexation of vast tracts of Palestinian land, especially 2,640 dunums of land belonging to citizens in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Israeli forces razed and sabotaged on Wednesday morning Palestinian property in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces bulldozed land and demolished a retaining wall owned by Al-Burqan family in 'Ain Al-Loaza neighborhood in the said town.

Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces carried out bulldozing and digging operations in the town of 'Hizma near occupied Jerusalem for building a settlement road.

Similar violations were also carried out yesterday in the village of Shuqba, west of Ramallah, where large forces of the Israeli army, accompanied by two bulldozers, stormed the village and demolished an agricultural room and three barracks used for livestock.
