While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

UN Security Council urges protection of civilians in Gaza after deadly Israeli massacre

NEW YORK, Sunday, March 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

The UN Security Council (UNSC) has underscored the need to protect civilians in Gaza in the wake of the deadly Israeli attack on Thursday morning—which resulted in over 115 Palestinian civilians killed and many more wounded as they were waiting for aid trucks south of Gaza City.

Members of the UNSC issued a statement last night expressing their deep concern over reports that "more than 100 individuals lost their lives, with several hundred others sustaining injuries, including gunshot wounds…in an incident involving Israeli forces at a large gathering surrounding a humanitarian assistance convoy southwest of Gaza City."

The Council stressed the need to take all necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure, expressing grave concern that the entire population in Gaza, more than two million people, could face alarming levels of acute food insecurity amid the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Members reiterated their demand for the Israeli occupation "to allow, facilitate, and enable the immediate, rapid, safe, sustained and unhindered delivery of humanitarian assistance at scale to the Palestinian civilian population throughout the Gaza Strip."

They urged Israel to keep border crossings open for humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, to facilitate the opening of additional crossings to meet humanitarian needs at scale, and to support the rapid and safe delivery of relief items to people across the enclave.

Russia expresses regret over UN Security Council's failure to achieve ceasefire in Gaza

NEW YORK, Sunday, March 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

Dmitry Polyanskiy, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, has expressed regret as the UN Security Council once again failed to secure an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.

Polyanskiy said in a tweet on his X account, "We regret that the UN Security Council once again failed to reflect in its products a clear call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza."

"Nevertheless," he added, "we decided not break silence as the first paragraph of the draft statement has become more balanced and precise, reflecting the testimonies of UN OCHA officials from the Gaza City."

"At the same time, we consider the UNSC Press Statement adopted today as an interim product of the SC, and strongly believe that the Council is obliged to return to drafting a resolution with a demand for an immediate ceasefire," said the Russian diplomat.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 30, 410 martyrs

Sunday 3-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation army committed 9 massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 90 civilians and injuring over 177 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments, which started on October 7, climbed to 30,410 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 71,700 people.

Every day, the Israeli army escalates its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

Death toll in Gaza climbs to 30,410 as Israel's genocide marks 149th day

GAZA, Sunday, March 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

A total of 90 Palestinians were killed in nine massacres perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces over the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip, bringing the documented death toll since the outbreak of the Israeli war of genocide to 30,410, the majority of whom are innocent civilians, according to local health authorities.

In addition to the 90 fatalities, 177 other Palestinians were injured by Israeli artillery, aerial strikes or sniper fire over the last 24 hours, while the number of injuries documented since the beginning of the aggression have climbed to 71,700, the sources added.

Some victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as the occupation forces continue to prevent the arrival of ambulance and rescue teams to many locations, especially in the northern region. Therefore, the actual figures are believed to be much higher.

Meantime, the Kamal 'Idwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip has reported a tragic surge in the number of children succumbing to malnutrition and the unavailability of medical treatment and fuel within the facility due to the ongoing Israeli blockade, bringing the total to 15 lives lost since last week.

Israeli occupation army embarks on ground offensive in 'Hamad City, in Khan Younus

GAZA, Sunday, March 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces embarked today a military offensive in' Hamad City, a residential neighborhood located north of Khan Younus in southern Gaza, employing tanks to encircle the area and launching massive fire belts to flatten the ground for tanks.

Residents in the region reported that the occupation forces used drones equipped with loudspeakers to threaten the population, urging them to evacuate 'Hamad City to the neighboring Al-Mawasi region and the city of Dair El-Bala'h.

The message broadcasted by the Israeli drones stated, "To all residents in the 'Hamad City, you are in a dangerous combat zone; the Israeli army is operating in your vicinity." Simultaneously, Israeli tanks positioned on hillsides opposite to the neighborhood after establishing earth barriers in the area.

Video footage circulating on social media showed dozens of civilians, predominantly women and children, gathering beneath their homes in preparation for displacement. Some loaded their belongings onto cars and carts as Israeli tanks advanced towards them, with sounds of airstrikes and gunfire echoing intermittently.

Additional images showcased Israeli soldiers on the rooftops of houses in the city, predominantly consisting of residential buildings housing an estimated 5,000 residents.

Estimates suggest that the town of Al-Qarara north of Khan Younus will also be the site of a new ground offensive by Israeli occupation forces in the coming hours.

Simultaneously, scores of citizens issued pleas for assistance to evacuate them from 'Hamad City and the town of Al-Qarara. Ambulances and civil defense teams were barred from reaching the affected areas to assess the extent of the aftermath and the number of casualties left by the Israeli airstrikes and intensive shelling, local sources said.

In tandem with these developments, Israeli fighter jets bombed three houses in the city, resulting in six fatalities and nine injuries. Furthermore, artillery shelling targeted the homes of citizens to the east of the city.

Later today, eight Palestinians were killed due to an Israeli airstrike targeting a relief aid truck in Dair El-Bala'h, which was transporting displaced individuals to Rafa'h.

Simultaneously, the eastern areas of Rafa'h were subjected to intense shelling, resulting in 26 fatalities and dozens of injuries in the past 24 hours. Among the casualties, 14 were killed, including six children and infants, in an airstrike on the Abu 'Anza family home in the Salam neighborhood.

Additionally, nine individuals remain trapped under the rubble, while 12 others were killed in an Israeli airstrike on displaced tents in the Sultan area in the city of Rafa'h.

In Gaza City, warplanes and artillery targeted several homes in various neighborhoods, focusing on areas such as Al-Zaytoun, Tel Al-Hawa, and Al-Shaikh 'Ijleen.

Over the past 48 hours, more than 29 casualties were retrieved from the alleys and streets of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

Meantime, approximately 20 fatalities were brought to Kamal 'Idwan Hospital following Israeli airstrikes on two homes in Jabalya refugee camp and the Safatawi area north of Gaza City last night.

Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers

Hordes of extremist illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinians, seize lands in the West Bank

Sunday 3-March-2024, WEST BANK, (PIC)

Groups of extremist illegal Israeli Jewish settlers reportedly carried out on Saturday attacks on Palestinian citizens and property in different West Bank areas.
