While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

36 Syrian martyrs in an Israeli aggression on the Aleppo countryside

Friday 29-March-2024,

'Halab (Aleppo), (PIC)

Syrian media reported that 36 were martyred in Israeli pre-dawn airstrikes on Friday that hit targets in 'Halab (Aleppo) countryside in Syria.

Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a military source as saying that after midnight, Israeli forces launched an airstrike from the direction of Athriya, southeast of 'Halab (Aleppo), targeting a number of points in the Aleppo countryside.

The source indicated that the Israeli attack resulted in the martyrdom and wounding of a number of civilians and military personnel, in addition to causing damage to public and private property.

Quds Press Agency quoted an activist from Al-Nairab refugee camp as saying that the bombing was carried out by Israeli missiles launched from the sea, noting that the bombing targeted Aleppo’s civil airport and Al-Nairab military airport, in addition to the neighboring Jibreen area, pointing out that ground-based anti-aircraft guns were intensively fired in an attempt to repel the missiles.

He highlighted that explosions resonated strongly throughout the camp, noting that the medical personnel at Al-Tadawi Charitable Center in the camp were on alert, receiving the wounded as a result of the Israeli bombing.

UN official: Israeli limits on Gaza aid may be ‘war crime’

Thursday 28-March-2024,

NEW YORK, (PIC)

Israel’s restrictions on humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip may amount to a “war crime”, the United Nations human rights chief said on Thursday.

“The extent of Israel’s continued restrictions on entry of aid into Gaza, together with the manner in which it continues to conduct hostilities, may amount to the use of starvation as a method of war, which is a war crime,” UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk said.

“The suffering of the people of Gaza is unconscionable,” he said.

“Israel, as the occupying power, has the obligation to ensure the provision of food and medical care to the population commensurate with their needs and to facilitate the work of humanitarian organizations to deliver that assistance,” Turk added.

Turk said the crisis was “human-made” and “entirely preventable”.

“Everyone, especially those with influence, must insist that Israel acts to facilitate the unimpeded entry and distribution of needed humanitarian assistance and commercial goods to end starvation and avert all risk of famine,” he said.

“There needs to be a full restoration of essential services, including the supply of food, water, electricity, and fuel.”

ICJ issues fresh measures for Gaza Strip

Thursday 28-March-2024,

THE HAGUE, (PIC)

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Thursday issued new provisional measures for the Gaza Strip as the humanitarian situation in bombarded and besieged Gaza continues to deteriorate.

The world court issued the new order in response to a recent request made by South Africa, which submitted a case in December accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza.

The ICJ provisional measures state that Israel, “in view of the worsening conditions of life faced by Palestinians in Gaza, in particular the spread of famine and starvation”, shall take “all necessary and effective measures to ensure, without delay, in full cooperation with the United Nations, the unhindered provision at scale by all concerned of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance to Palestinians throughout Gaza.”

The measures outline that the required aid includes food, water, electricity, fuel, shelter, clothing, hygiene and sanitation requirements, as well as medical supplies and medical care.

The fresh ICJ order also calls on Israel, as a signatory to the Genocide Convention, to undertake those measures, “including by increasing the capacity and number of land crossing points and maintaining them open for as long as necessary.”

Additional measures call for Israel to ensure “with immediate effect that its military does not commit acts which constitute a violation of any of the rights of the Palestinians in Gaza as a protected group” under the Genocide Convention.

This includes “by preventing, through any action, the delivery of urgently needed humanitarian assistance,” according to the ICJ.

The court also decided that Israel shall submit a report to the ICJ on all measures within one month.

Euro-Med Monitor welcomes ICJ’s order for unhindered Gaza aid

Friday 29-March-2024,

GENEVA, (PIC)

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor welcomed new provisional measures issued Thursday by the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The ICJ has stated that Israel must take all necessary and effective measures to ensure, without delay, and in full cooperation with the United Nations, “the unhindered provision at scale by all concerned of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance” to Palestinians throughout the Gaza Strip, in fulfilling its obligations under Genocide Convention.

The new ICJ order observes that Palestinians in Gaza are no longer facing only the risk of famine, but that famine is setting in, and that the pre-January catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Strip has further deteriorated. The Court says that its earlier orders did not fully address the consequences arising from the changes in the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

According to the ICJ’s new order, Israel must ensure the unhindered provision at scale of basic services and humanitarian assistance including food, water, fuel, shelter, clothing, hygiene and sanitation requirements, and medical supplies, plus increase the capacity and number of land crossing points and keep them open for as long as necessary.

Euro-Med Monitor stresses that the ICJ must reaffirm its orders to Israel to refrain from any acts that could fall under the Genocide Convention and ensure its troops commit no genocidal acts against Palestinians in Gaza.

A report issued by Euro-Med Monitor, three days ago, titled: “Escalation in Genocide and Absence of Accountability: Two Months after the International Court of Justice’s Ruling on Gaza” reveals that Israel did not abide by the previous order and continued to commit genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The report notes that Israel has, in fact, escalated its violations in the Strip since the ICJ’s January ruling.

Based on Euro-Med Monitor’s efforts to monitor and document the crimes and violations that Israel has committed in the Gaza Strip, as well as on investigations into and assessments of its level of compliance during the two-month period following the ruling, it is clear that Israel has not complied with the ICJ ruling.

The ICJ issued a decision on 26 January 2024 ordering Israel to take specific provisional measures to prevent the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Stating that it was convinced that Israel’s actions in the Strip posed a real and immediate threat to the Palestinian people, the ICJ cited the possibility of irreversible effects and harm to Palestinian rights protected under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

Euro-Med Monitor’s report concluded that the majority of the provisional measures outlined in the January ruling were violated, and the crime of genocide was carried out on the same (or greater) scale. Israel has committed various forms and acts of genocide, with the intent of destroying the Palestinian people.

Targeting civilian gatherings around humanitarian aid trucks with direct gunshots, quadcopters, and Israeli tank shells is one of the most well-documented examples of the unlawful killings and executions carried out by the Israeli army against Palestinian civilians over the past few weeks. These incidents, which have become known as the “Flour Massacres”, have resulted in the deaths of 563 citizens and the injury of 1,523 others. This figure includes civilians awaiting aid as well as workers who were in charge of planning, securing, and distributing aid.

The Euro-Med Monitor report also addresses the crimes that Israel continued to commit, following the January ruling, with the aim of inflicting severe physical and psychological harm on Palestinians in the Strip, particularly through deprivation of healthcare; torture; inhumane treatment; sexual violence; and the use of prohibited, indiscriminate, and highly destructive weapons.

Furthermore, the report outlines the ongoing crimes committed by Israel aimed at deliberately causing material destruction to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including forced displacement and starvation—i.e. rendering the area uninhabitable and eradicating the Palestinian identity of the region. This is achieved through the systematic destruction of sources of income; infrastructure; civilian objects; and private property; as well as deliberate military attacks on buildings designated for religious, educational, scientific, and historical purposes; hospitals; and places where patients and wounded people gather. Additionally, Israel persists in committing crimes aimed at destroying the unity of Palestinian families and preventing procreation.

In light of the aforementioned, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor urges, among other recommendations, the international community to uphold its legal and moral duties to the people living in the Gaza Strip. The international community must guarantee that the International Court of Justice’s ruling is carried out, and end the genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation since October 7, 2023.

Euro-Med Monitor calls on all states to fulfill their international obligations by halting all military, financial, and political support for Israel’s attack against the Palestinian people of the Gaza Strip, and in particular, all arms transfers to Israel. Otherwise, these states will be held accountable for their complicity in Israel’s ongoing crimes, including genocide.

Euro-Med also renews its call to put immediate international pressure on Israel in order to stop its crime of starving the population of the Gaza Strip, lift the siege completely, put on appropriate mechanisms to ensure safe, effective and rapid delivery of humanitarian aid, and take decisive measures to confront the rapidly spreading famine in the Strip.

A deadly trio is ravaging children in northern Gaza

GAZA, Friday, March 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

Fear and anxiety are gripping Palestinian mothers these days as they witness the plight of their children, who are suffering from severe malnutrition, disease, and lack of medical treatment due to the ongoing Israeli blockade and aggression on the Gaza Strip for 175 days.

Some of these children lie in Kamal 'Idwan Hospital in the town of Bait Lahya in northern Gaza, their health deteriorating rapidly as their weight plummets amid scarce food, water, and medicine supplies.

On one hospital bed lies Jana Iyad (8 years old), in extremely poor health due to widespread malnutrition in northern Gaza, exacerbated by the occupation's blockade preventing aid from entering.

Beside her hospital bed, Jana's mother accompanies her, feeling helpless in providing any assistance to her daughter amidst the repercussions of this aggression.

"The conditions my daughter is enduring due to food shortages have led to severe malnutrition and deficiencies in vitamins, proteins, and calcium in her body," the mother tells Anadolu Agency, her voice trembling with pain. "My daughter's body has become weak, and she has lost a significant amount of weight in recent days."

Recalling her daughter's condition before the war, the mother points out that Jana "used to be active, play, and interact with others without any health complaints, but today she suffers in bed, unable to move and struggling to speak."

She hopes that her daughter can leave Gaza to receive necessary treatment after the Israeli aggression caused extensive damage to hospitals and medical supplies.

Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling have rendered 32 hospitals and 53 health centers across the beleaguered enclave out of service, in addition to targeting 155 health facilities.

Lung disease

Like Jana's mother, the mother of 11-year-old Noor Al-Huda Mohammed fears losing her daughter's life amidst the remaining hospitals' shortages of treatment and food, especially in northern Gaza.

"My daughter suffers from lung disease (yet to be diagnosed) and a low blood count, along with malnutrition, which negatively affects her life," the mother tells Anadolu Agency. "Every day, my daughter's condition worsens due to the lack of food and treatment in Gaza."

The mother wishes for the necessary treatment and healthy food for her daughter, and permission for her to leave Gaza to receive the necessary medical care.

As the lives of Jana, Noor Al-Huda, and others hang in the balance, Israel's aggression in its war on the Gaza Strip has claimed the lives of more than 13,000 children, among tens of thousands of civilian casualties, alongside a famine that has claimed the lives of children and the elderly, according to Palestinian and UN data.

SALFIT, Friday, March 29, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces once again closed the entrance to the town of Dair Istya in the occupied West Bank province of Salfit late last night, according to local sources.

This action marks the second time this month that the entrance has been sealed off by the Israeli occupation authorities, causing significant disruption to the lives of residents in the area.

Nazmi Salman, an activist working against settlements, told WAFA that an Israeli military bulldozer was deployed to block the western entrance of Dair Istya using earthen barriers.

The closure of the entrance to the town severely impacts the daily lives of residents, hindering their ability to travel freely in and out of the town for work, education, and essential services.
