While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Guterres from Rafah Crossing: It’s time for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza

Sunday 24-March-2024,

RAFAH, (PIC)

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has called for flooding the Gaza Strip with real life-saving assistance, emphasizing that the time has come for a “humanitarian” ceasefire in Gaza.

Guterres stated in a press conference held on the Egyptian side of the Rafa'h Crossing on Saturday, adjacent to the Gaza Strip, “There are long queues of trucks waiting in Rafah, and on the opposite side, there are people suffering from hunger. We must not give up and do everything in our power to ensure humanity prevails in Gaza.”

He added, “I represent the majority of voices in the international community calling for a cessation of hostilities and the entry of aid into Gaza.”

Guterres demanded that Israel make a firm commitment to unrestricted access of humanitarian goods throughout Gaza and the release of hostages.

Guterres said he looks forward to continuing to work with Egypt to facilitate the entry of aid and deeply appreciates their full engagement in supporting the people of Gaza.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations arrived today in El-Arish, Egypt, near the Gaza Strip, where he visited wounded Palestinians at the city’s hospital.

Far'han 'Haq, Deputy Spokesman for Guterres, stated in a previous press conference that the Secretary-General would meet with UN humanitarian workers on the Egyptian side of the Rafah border.

Guterres will then travel to Jordan, where he will visit facilities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and have an iftar meal with Palestinian refugees and UN staff in the capital, Amman, according to the same source.

The Israeli occupation forces have been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in tens of thousands of civilian casualties, mostly children and women, as well as massive destruction, according to Palestinian and international data.

UNRWA: Israel blocks food convoy from reaching northern Gaza

Sunday 24-March-2024, NEW YORK, (PIC)

Philippe Lazzarini, the director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), announced on Saturday that “Israel has prevented a food aid convoy from reaching northern Gaza for the second time in a week.”

Lazzarini warned in a post on his X platform account that the residents of northern Gaza are living on the brink of man-made famine that can be avoided.

The UN official pointed out that the last time UNRWA teams were able to send food aid to northern Gaza was about two months ago.

He highlighted that Israel, for the second time in a week, is preventing the arrival of the food aid convoys to northern Gaza.

He emphasized the need for Israeli authorities to allow the widespread delivery of food aid to the north, including through UNRWA, the largest humanitarian organization in Gaza.

Lazzarini concluded by saying, “Meanwhile, children will continue to die from malnutrition and dehydration before our eyes,” expressing his concerns that the unbearable situation may turn into a new normal.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip with American support, leaving tens of thousands of civilian casualties, mostly children and women, and causing a humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction.

As a result of the war and Israeli restrictions, the residents of Gaza, especially in Gaza City and the northern governorates, are on the brink of famine, amid severe shortages of food, water, medicine, and fuel, resulting in the deaths of children and the elderly, according to Palestinian and international data.

Female Palestinian prisoner beaten and abused, says Commission

RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 24, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission revealed that a female Palestinian prisoner was beaten and abused while returning from traveling back to Palestine before she was detained and transferred to an occupation army center.

The Commission stated in its statement issued today that the prisoner Baraa 'Awadh, from the town of Bait Jala, was subjected to inhumane treatment in the military center and during her transfer between the “Ofer,” “Sharon,” and “Damon” Israeli prisons, and that the soldiers deliberately terrorized and intimidated her.

'Awadh spoke to the Commission’s lawyer, who recently visited her, about the prison conditions in general, and said, that "living conditions are tragic."

"We are singled out," she said, adding that the Israeli soldiers are practicing harsh policies that include confiscation of rights and imposition of penalties against them.

She added that drinking water and poor food have become both methods and means of permanent torture, which negatively affected female prisoners whose circumstances become more complicated on a daily basis.

The Commission stated that the occupation prison administration did not take into account the prisoners' requirements of the holy month of Ramadan, adding that it didn't make them tone down their escalatory steps.

It is noteworthy that the number of female prisoners in “Damoun” prison today is 68, the majority of whom were detained after October 7.

Israeli occupation blocks West Bank Christians from accessing Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Palm Sunday

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Sunday, March 24, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation has prevented thousands of Christians from the West Bank from accessing the occupied city of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) to participate in the celebration of Palm Sunday according to the Western calendar.

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch ofAl-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), presided over the Palm Sunday Mass this morning at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The Mass was attended by a group of bishops and priests, in the presence of monks, nuns, and a limited number of worshipers, mostly from Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and the 1948 territories, after the Israeli occupation deprived thousands of Christians from the West Bank governorates of access to the holy city.

Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces imposed strict military measures at checkpoints surrounding the city of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and in the vicinity of the Old City.

Israeli authorities require Palestinians, both Muslims and Christians, to obtain special permits to cross their military checkpoints surrounding the holy city and access places of worship, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

'Hamas slams int’l silence on Israel’s atrocities at Al-Shifa Hospital

Sunday 24-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the international community over its deafening silence on the genocide and the humanitarian catastrophe that are taking place at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City and in the neighborhoods around it at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.

In a statement on Sunday, Hamas accused the Israeli army of committing “heinous war crimes” at Al-Shifa Hospital and the areas around it, including executions, abuse, arson attacks on inhabited homes, besieging civilians inside the hospital and homes, and displacing many citizens amid gunfire and bombardment.

'Hamas said that the Israeli army’s “Nazi practices” at Al-Shifa Hospital and its vicinity found no reactions from the international community, the UN and their institutions.

'Hamas urged the Arab and Muslim peoples, the world’s free people and the Palestinian masses in the West Bank, Jerusalem and 1948 occupied Palestine to take immediate action to put pressure on the interests of the Israeli occupation and its supporters.

For the seventh day running, Israeli forces continue to commit appalling atrocities at Al-Shifa Hospital and in surrounding neighborhoods.

Media reports say Israeli soldiers have executed over 200 civilians, kidnaped over 800 others, and have been besieging hundreds of citizens inside the hospital and nearby homes since the Israeli army started its renewed operation against the hospital a few days ago.

A Palestinian survivor told Al Jazeera satellite channel that many citizens had been killed by Israeli sniper fire after they were kidnaped from Al-Shifa Hospital and detained for several hours.

A female eyewitness also told Al Jazeera that the Israeli army forced 65 families to leave an area near the hospital after set the building they were in aflame, adding that the besieged people in and around the hospital had been appealing to the Red Cross for six days to provide water for children and patients and intervene to evacuate them from the area.

She affirmed that Israeli occupation soldiers burned entire families alive and also raped and killed women in the area.

In a related context, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has accused the Israeli army of persisting in using “Palestinian civilians as human shields in its military operation inside the Shifa Medical Complex and its vicinity in Gaza City.”

Euro-Med said it “documented several consistent testimonies regarding the Israeli army’s deliberate use of Palestinian civilians as human shields against their will, and forcing them into dangerous situations to secure and protect its forces and military operations inside the Shifa Medical Complex, adding that “this has been ongoing since early Monday morning.”

“Testimonies reveal that Israeli forces used civilians, including patients and displaced individuals inside the Shifa Medical Complex, as human shields, exploiting them to protect their military operations within the hospital, form barriers behind their forces and military vehicles, or send them under threat to residential homes and buildings surrounding the medical complex to evacuate them before the Israeli army raids, arrests some of the residents, and subsequently destroys many of these buildings.”

“Furthermore, several families residing near the Shifa Medical Complex reported that Israeli forces used young men, who were arrested from inside the complex, to enter their homes and demand immediate evacuation to central and southern Gaza Strip,” according to Euro-Med.

“A woman from the “Arafat” family informed the Euro-Med Monitor team that they were surprised by the entry of a man in his late thirties, stripped of his clothes except for his underwear. He informed them that the Israeli army sent him to evacuate their home within 30 minutes, threatening to bomb it over their heads. Upon their evacuation, as ordered, they witnessed several other Palestinian youths in similar conditions, as the army forced them to enter neighboring homes to warn their residents.”

Last Monday morning, the Israeli army raided Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City amid heavy gunfire and drone overflights, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries, and the detention of hundreds more. Additionally, dozens of residential homes surrounding the medical facility were destroyed and set ablaze after being raided.

Euro-Med has expressed its “deep concern about the current situation in the Shifa Medical Complex and the risks facing civilians, including patients, healthcare workers, and displaced individuals inside it, who are protected under international humanitarian law. Medical facilities and civilians must be protected and attacks against them must be halted immediately.”

Euro-Med called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and work immediately on stopping Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

KHAN YUNIS, Sunday, March 24, 2024 (WAFA) –

At least three Palestinians were killed this morning in Israeli airstrikes targeting residential homes in the cities of Khan Younus and Rafa'h in the south of the Gaza Strip.

84 Palestinians killed in 8 massacres by Israel in Gaza in last 24 hours

GAZA, Sunday, March 24, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces perpetrated eight massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, resulting in the documented killing of at least 84 Palestinians and the injury of 106 others, according to medical sources.

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to 32,226 reported fatalities, with an additional 74,518 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Meanwhile, ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of and medical and civil defense teams.

Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces continue their offensive in the Al-Shifa Medical Complex west of Gaza City for the seventh consecutive day.

Patients and displaced individuals at the hospital are suffering from a lack of healthcare services, food, and water due to the blockade imposed by Israeli forces on the hospital for the past seven days.

Yesterday, five of the besieged wounded succumbed to their wounds at the Al-Shifa Medical Complex due to the absence of healthcare services, food, water, and the interruption of electricity in the intensive care units.

This marks the second time Israeli forces have stormed the Al-Shifa Complex since the beginning of the onslaught on Gaza on October 7 last year. They previously raided it on November 16 after a week-long siege, during which its courtyards, parts of its buildings, medical equipment, and power generators were destroyed.

Israeli occupation forces launch a surprise assault on Nasir, Al-Amal Hospitals in Khan Younus

KHAN YUNIS, Sunday, March 24, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces launched a surprise offensive early today morning into the Al-Amal and Nasser Hospitals in Khan Yunis city on Sunday, accompanied by intense shelling and heavy gunfire in the vicinity of the two medical facilities.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that dozens of Israeli armored vehicles are currently surrounding Al-Amal Hospital, engaging in extensive excavation work in its vicinity. It added that all its teams are currently in extreme danger, unable to move at all, and incapable of burying the body of their colleague Amir Abu Eisha—killed in an Israeli airstrike last night—within the hospital yard.

Eyewitnesses reported that the aerial bombardment was concentrated in the south and east of the Nasir Medical Complex, as well as in the neighboring Batn Al-Sameen area. Continuous artillery shelling relentlessly struck these regions, complemented by gunfire from helicopters and drones, resulting in multiple civilians killed and others injured.

Thousands of displaced Palestinians had sought refuge in the Nasser Hospital to escape Israeli bombardment. On February 15, Israeli occupation forces raided the hospital in a 10-day offensive, during which they killed dozens of displaced persons, medical staff, and patients inside the hospital. They also arrested hundreds of displaced individuals at the time.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th of last year has resulted in 32,142 documented fatalities, mostly children and women, with injuries reaching 74,412.

Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers

Illegal Israeli Jewish settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque as Israeli occupation regime police tighten measures on the occasion of Purim

Sunday 24-March-2024, Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

A large number of illegal Israeli Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), on Sunday morning under the protection of the Israeli police on the first day of the so-called “Purim Mishmar” holiday.

The Islamic Endowments Department reported that dozens of illegal settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque through Bab El-Maghariba gate, under strict guard by the Israeli occupation police. Extremist settlers disguised themselves as Temple priests to emphasize the extremist Jewish religious presence in Al-Aqsa.

The Endowments Department added that the settlers carried out provocative tours in its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals under the protection of the occupation police.

The police forces also stormed the Qibli Mosque to secure the settlers’ incursion of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation police tightened measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa and the main gates of the Old City of Jerusalem, preventing young people from entering the holy site at the time.

It is expected that Al-Aqsa Mosque will witness a central incursion by settlers today, Sunday, and tomorrow, Monday, to celebrate the so-called Jewish Purim Mishmar holiday.

Police forces raided Al-Aqsa Mosque last night and forced the worshipers to evacuate it after the Tarawee'h prayer, forcibly preventing them from performing Iʻtikāf(religious retreat), in order to allow the settlers to perform their rituals on Sunday.
