While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

MoFA calls bombing Rafah 'a serious beginning to expand Israel's crimes'

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 19, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the violent bombing launched by the Israeli occupation on the city of Rafa'h is considered a serious beginning to expand its crimes there despite the presence of more than a million displaced people there, without giving any consideration to their lives.

The Foreign Ministry explained in a statement issued today that Israel began to destroy Rafa'h on a daily basis and in a systematic manner through repeated attacks on homes, bombing them, and killing and wounding dozens of civilians.

Israel began its aggression against the city of Rafa'h, and did not wait for permission from anyone, and did not announce it to avoid international reactions, the Ministry said.

The Ministry indicated that this escalation is an official Israeli disregard for international and American demands to protect the displaced people and secure their full humanitarian needs.

It added that the expansion of genocide crimes to include Rafa'h coincides with the beginning US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's trip, who confirmed in his recent statements the absence of any serious Israeli plan to protect civilians in Rafa'h, and demanded that Israel do so.

The Ministry also condemned in the strongest terms the brutal and bloody bombardment committed by the occupation forces against Palestinian people, which has been escalating insanely since yesterday, and was focused at dawn today by targeting civilian homes above the heads of their residents in Rafa'h, leaving dozens killed, wounded and missing under the rubble.

Hundreds of the Gaza displaced people's tents drown due to rain and strong wind

GAZA, Tuesday, March 19, 2024 (WAFA) -

Hundreds of tents sheltering thousands of displaced people drowned and others were blown away as a result of the rain, strong winds, and torrential rains in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent said that the heavy rains and strong winds that blew in the northern areas of the Gaza Strip, the western areas of Dair El-Bala'h in the center of the Gaza Strip, and Rafa'h and the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younus in the south, caused hundreds of tents to drown, and others to be blown away, sheltering thousands of displaced people, who spent the night outdoors in the harsh cold and under heavy rain, including children, women, the elderly, and patients in difficult humanitarian conditions.

The displaced people called on the UN and international bodies to provide shelter centers for them in light of the difficult conditions and the ongoing war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Gaza Strip for the 165th day.

It is noteworthy that most of the displaced people in tents and shelter centers quickly left their homes in various areas of the Gaza Strip in the hope of escaping the bombardment by occupation aircraft and artillery, carrying with them a few clothes, blankets, and personal belongings, only to become prey to the bitter cold, hunger, and thirst.

In light of this extreme cold, half of Gaza's population suffers from "catastrophic" hunger, while famine is expected to strike the north of the Strip "at any time" in the period extending until May in the absence of any urgent intervention to prevent this, according to a food security assessment. Published by specialized agencies of the United Nations on Monday.

'Hamas condemns Israeli assassination of the top Palestinian police officer, Al-Mab'hou'h

Monday 18-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

'Hamas Movement condemned the Israeli assassination of Major General Faiq Abdul Ra-ouf Al-Mab'hou'h, Director of Central Operations of the Palestinian Police in Gaza.

“The cowardly Israeli assassination of Major General Faiq Abdul Ra-ouf Al-Mab'hou'h, Director of Central Operations of the Palestinian Police in Gaza, is a new Israeli crime in Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. The crime came after the martyr and the security services were able to secure aid supplies’ access to the northern governorates,” the Movement said in a statement issued Monday evening.

The statement said that this “terrorist act, which targeted civilian police who are protected by international humanitarian law, is more proof of the Nazi enemy’s attempts to destabilize the Gaza Strip, undermine social harmony, and prolong the hunger crisis there.”

'Hamas further affirmed that the Palestinian people and their security services will foil the Israeli malicious plans to spread chaos.

PPS warns of Israeli systematic torture to kill prominent Palestinian prisoners

Tuesday 19-March-2024, RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The director of Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS), 'Abdullah Al-Zaghari, has warned of the Israeli intention to kill more Palestinian prisoners, including leaders, as a result of systematic torture rounds which have remarkably escalated since October 7.

Al-Zaghari revealed in a statement on Monday that Israeli repression forces in Megiddo prison have recently attacked prisoner leader and member of Fat'h movement’s Central Committee, Marwan Al-Barghouthi, along with a group of other high-profile prisoners, most notably prisoners Thabit Mardawi and Salama Qattawi.

Al-Zaghari said that assaulting Al-Barghouthi and the other leaders in Israeli prisons is part of the Israeli systematic approach to targeting Palestinian prisoner leaders, warning of intentional killing of detainees, highlighting that at least 13 prisoners have recently died in Israeli prisons.

He accused the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) of inciting against Palestinian prisoners on media, especially against Al-Barghouthi, and boasting about the crimes committed against them.

Al-Zaghari held the IOA fully responsible for the fate of Al-Barghouthi, and all prisoners in the Israeli prisons, calling on international human rights groups to assume their responsibilities and protect the Palestinian people and prisoners by pressuring Israel to end that policy.

He highlighted that the IOA carried out repeated transfers and isolations against senior Palestinian captives, including prisoner Al-Barghouthi, who was transferred several times from one jail to another, the last of which was to the isolation of Megiddo prison.

Qadoura Faris, the head of the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs, said Israeli Prison Service has escalated its punitive measures against prisoners since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, including severe beatings, insults, humiliation, and confiscation of copies of the holy Quran from the rooms.

“The situation has become more dangerous than anyone could imagine, as the lives of the prisoners have become threatened in the true sense,” Faris said.

The total number of detained Palestinians has risen to about 7,655 since October 7 last year, according to prisoners’ institutions.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

Monday 18-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) assassinated on Monday Brigadier General Fayiq Al-Mab'hou'h, the head of Palestinian police operations in the Gaza Strip, during its military raid on Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza city.

The government media office (GMO) confirmed that the IOF committed a new crime today by assassinating Al-Mab'hou'h, who was coordinating with the tribes and UNRWA to bring and secure humanitarian aid into northern Gaza, denouncing this crime and stressing that he was carrying out purely humanitarian civilian work, and he should have been protected under the international law.

The GMO said, this crime comes as a continuation of the Israeli targeting and bombing of many centers providing humanitarian aid to the displaced, and the killing of those responsible for humanitarian aid provision, referring to the killing of dozens of people over the past days in Rafa'h, Nusayrat refugee camp, Gaza and other governorates.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

Israeli gunfire leaves two Palestinian children paralyzed north of the West Bank

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 19, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces paralyzed two Palestinian children, 'Amr Suwaidan and Kareem Shurrab after directly shooting them in a clear deliberate attempt to disabling them.

Suwaidan, 17, from the city of Nablus, was shot with live bullet in the neck by an Israeli soldier in the town of 'Azzoun, east of Qalqilya, on February 13th,

Suwaidan and another young man were riding an electric bike when an Israeli military jeep chased after them through the streets of the town and attempted to intentionally run over them.

When they fell, the young man was able to flee the place while Suwaidan couldn't.

A soldier came near Suwaidan and began hitting him with the door of the jeep. After that, another Israeli occupation soldier, specifically the one sitting next to the driver, opened a barrage of gunfire at him at point-blank distance, critically injuring him in the neck.

Suwaidan was left to bleed on the ground for about five minutes following the shooting attack because the Israeli occupation soliers did not allow anyone to reach him.

An eyewitness told Defense for Children International Palestine (DCIP), “One of the soldiers put his hand on the spot where Suwaidan was injured and told him, ‘Death, Death.’”

The bullet hit Suwaidan’s neck damaging his nerves and spine and causing him paralysis in all four limbs.

Meanwhile, Kareem Shurrab, 8, suffered from partial paralysis after being hit by a live bullet in the neck during an Israeli military incursion into the town of 'Awarta, south of Nablus on December 2, 2023.

According to eyewitness, Shurrab was with his relatives near his family’s home at 6:00 PM, while the occupation forces were stationed approximately 15 meters away from him, during which an Israeli soldier opened gunfire towards Shurrab, critically wounding him in the neck.

Israel continues to detain detainees released in swap deals, says Detainees Commission

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 19, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Detainees' and Ex-Detainees' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) said that the Israeli occupation authorities escalated the detention of Palestinian released in the swap deals, bringing the number of detentions to 13, eleven of whom are still detained by Israel.

To be noted, 240 Palestinian female detainees and children detained in the occupation prisons were released as part of the prisoners' swap deals last November.

It is noteworthy that Israel continues to pursue a policy of re-arresting and targeting ex-detainees.

Arresting ex-detainees as part of the “prisoner exchange” deal, which took place in 2011, is considered to be one of the most serious issues that the ex-detainees have faced over the past years.

Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers

Illegal Israeli settlers (land-grabbing Israelis) seize 20 residential shacks near Aree'ha (Jericho)

Aree'ha (Jericho), Tuesday, March 19, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers (land-grabbing Israelis) today seized around 20 Palestinian-owned residential shacks near Al-Ma’rajat Road, northwest of the city of Aree'ha (Jericho).

Hassan Muli'hat, the general supervisor of Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that a group of Israeli colonists seized 20 shacks used as shelters for local families who were forcibly displaced by the occupation in November 2023.

Colonists released their sheep into the barns and pastures of the indigenous people, causing significant damage to corps.

Illegal Israeli settlers and army have been escalating their attacks on the Bedouins and their lands in Al-Ma'rajat, northwest of Aree'ha (Jericho) with the aim of displacing Palestinians from their lands and change the geography and demography of the city.

Around 54 Illegal Israeli settlers (land-grabbing Israelis) raid Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Tuesday, March 19, 2024 (WAFA) –

Around 54 of the illegal Israeli settlers (land-grabbing Israelis) today raided Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation apartheid regime police.

Sources said that the Israeli occupation forces imposed severe restrictions on the entry of worshipers into Al-Aqsa Mosque, as part of the siege imposed on it since the beginning of the aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli extremist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, not only prevented worshipers from the West Bank from praying at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and issued hundreds of deportation decisions from it throughout the holy month of Ramadhan, but he also came back demanding that the colonists be allowed to storm it in the last ten days of Ramadan.
