While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Casualties reported after IOFs attacks Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City

Monday 18-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out at dawn Monday a violent raid on Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, amid intensive gunfire from tanks, drones and soldiers.

Gaza’s health ministry said a fire broke out at the entrance of the complex, causing cases of suffocation among displaced women and children in the hospital.

It said communication had been cut off, with people trapped inside the surgery and emergency units of one of the buildings.

“There are casualties, including deaths and injuries, and it is impossible to rescue anyone due to the intensity of the fire and targeting of anyone approaching the windows,” the ministry said, accusing Israeli forces of committing “another crime against health institutions.”

The ministry appealed to the UN and its institutions to curb the Israeli army from committing a new massacre against the civilians and medical staff inside the facility.

Earlier, a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that Israeli tanks and armored vehicles stormed, under heavy bombardment and gunfire, the western areas of Gaza City and encircled Al-Shifa Hospital, which houses thousands of displaced, sick and wounded civilians, and attacked some of its buildings with a volley of projectiles and bullets.

Amnesty International urges Biden to demand ceasefire in Gaza

Monday 18-March-2024, NEW YORK, (PIC)

Amnesty International has called on US president Joe Biden to demand a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and stop the transfer of arms to Israel.

In a post on X, Amnesty also reminded Biden that Israel used US-made munitions to kill more than 30,000 people in Gaza.

“More than 30,000 people have now been killed in Israel’s onslaught on the occupied Gaza Strip, many by US-made munitions,” Amnesty said.

The Gaza Strip has been under relentless Israeli attack since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

Oxfam: Israel 'deliberately' blocking aid to Gaza Strip

AMMAN, Monday, March 18, 2024 (WAFA) -

Oxfam accused Israel of intentionally preventing the delivery of aid, including food and medical equipment, which is a clear violation of international humanitarian law.

The organization said in a report that Israel continued to "systematically and deliberately block and undermine any meaningful international humanitarian response" in the Palestinian territory.

Oxfam said that "unjustifiably inefficient" inspection rules were causing aid trucks trying to get into Gaza to be stuck in queues for 20 days on average.

The group also denounced "attacks on aid workers, humanitarian facilities and aid convoys" and "access restrictions" for relief staff, particularly to northern Gaza.

It also said that Israeli authorities arbitrarily reject "dual-use" items -- civilian goods that also have potential military use such as backup generators and torches.

It recalled that water bags and water testing kits in an Oxfam shipment were rejected with no reason provided before later being permitted entry.

The occupation forces control the flow of aid, which is still completely insufficient given the enormous needs of the Strip’s population of 2.4 million people, the vast majority of whom are at risk of famine, according to Oxfam.

DO'HA, (PIC)--

Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haniyya stressed on Sunday the need to quickly put an end to the Israeli occupation’s aggression and massacres in the Gaza Strip, ensure the withdrawal of its forces from all areas and provide Gaza with its needs.

This came during Haniyya’s meeting in Do'ha with Wang Kejian, an envoy of the Chinese foreign ministry, in the presence of the Chinese ambassador to Qatar Cao Xiaolin.

Haniyya highlighted the importance of achieving the Palestinian people’s aspirations for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital and the fulfillment of their rights to return and self-determination.

The 'Hamas leader discussed with the Chinese diplomats the political and field developments related to the situation in the Gaza Strip and the efforts to stop the genocidal war on its population and provide urgent aid for them, especially in light of the Israeli starvation campaign.

For their part, the Chinese ambassadors stressed that the 'Hamas Movement is part of the Palestinian national fabric and affirmed their country’s keenness on maintaining relations with it.

They also talked about the historic relations between the Palestinian and Chinese peoples and China’s firm positions towards the Palestinian cause and its support for the Palestinian people’s just aspirations for freedom, independence and statehood.

They also called for necessarily stopping the Israeli war and the bloodshed in Gaza and providing the population with their humanitarian needs.

EU Ursula von der Leyen: Gaza is facing famine, we cannot accept this

Monday 18-March-2024, CAIRO, (PIC)

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Sunday, “Gaza is facing famine, and we cannot accept this,” calling for a rapid ceasefire agreement.

Speaking at the Egyptian-European Six-Party Summit in Cairo, the EU official expressed the European Union’s concerns about the repercussions of Israel launching a military operation in Rafah.

“It is critical to achieve an agreement on a ceasefire rapidly now that frees the hostages and allows more humanitarian aid to reach Gaza,” she said.

Von der Leyen pledged to work side by side with Egypt and other partners to direct aid to Gaza through all possible ways, pointing out that Egypt is the pillar of stability and security in the Middle East.

She stressed the need to protect civilians, and to ensure no more forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, saying, “we want to work for lasting peace based on the principle of the two-state solution.”

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been launching a brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs among civilians, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure.

Israel uses starvation as a weapon and causes famine in Gaza, says EU's Borrell

BRUSSELS, Monday, March 18, 2024 (WAFA) –

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, said on Monday that Israel is causing famine in the Gaza Strip and is using starvation as a weapon of war.

"In Gaza we are no longer on the brink of famine, we are in a state of famine, affecting thousands of people," Borrell said at the opening of a conference on humanitarian aid for Gaza in Brussels.

He added, "This is unacceptable. Famine is being used as a weapon of war. Israel is causing famine."

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to 31,726 reported fatalities, with an additional 73,792 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

GMO and Palestinian factions condemn the ongoing Israeli raid on Al-Shifa complex in Gaza

Monday 18-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Government Media Office (GMO)in Gaza and Palestinian factions have condemned the Israeli army’s raid on Al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza early Monday, using tanks, drones, weapons, and firing inside the complex.

The GMO said in a statement: “This crime confirms the Israeli intent to eliminate the healthcare sector and destroy hospitals.”

It pointed out that the Israeli forces stormed the Al-Shifa Medical Complex with tanks, heavily armed soldiers, and drones since the early hours of dawn, and began firing inside the complex, causing fear and panic among the wounded, patients, and displaced individuals.

The GMO emphasized that what is happening threatens the lives of thousands of people, patients, medical staff, and displaced individuals, inside the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, in a war crime added to the black record of the occupying army, which continues to commit various crimes and massacres, and still harbors the intention to eliminate the healthcare sector and destroy hospitals.

It added, “We strongly condemn the Israeli army’s raid on the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, considering it a blatant war crime, a violation of international law and international agreements, and a crime against humanity.”

“The Israeli occupation army, the US administration, and the international community are held fully responsible for the safety and lives of the medical teams, the wounded, the patients, and the displaced individuals from our Palestinian people,” the Office said.

The international and regional organizations, as well as all free countries in the world, were urged to immediately and urgently intervene to restrain the occupation, stop its genocidal war, cease its aggression, and target the healthcare sector and medical institutions. They were urged to exert pressure to stop these organized and planned crimes within the framework of the Israeli plan to destroy the healthcare sector.

Factions’ condemnation

The Palestinian factions also strongly condemned the continued targeting of hospitals by the occupation army with the aim of destroying the healthcare sector, the latest of which was the targeting of Al-Shifa Medical Complex at dawn today.

The factions said in a statement, “Targeting hospitals is a continuation of the genocidal war waged by Israel against the Palestinian people and a blatant violation of all international conventions and laws.”

They believed that the goal was clear, which is to deny any opportunity for the survival and treatment of the wounded and patients, as evidenced by the deprivation of thousands from traveling to receive treatment and pursuing them in hospitals.

They emphasized that the Israeli narratives and false claims are lies, as hospitals are civilian health institutions that have not engaged in any activities contrary to their defined functions and responsibilities according to international and humanitarian law.

Ministry of Health: Blatant violation

On its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health held Israel fully responsible for the lives of the medical teams, patients, and displaced individuals inside the Al-Shifa Medical Complex.

The ministry said in a press statement, “What the Israeli forces are doing against the Al-Shifa Medical Complex is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.”

It added, “The Israeli occupation still uses its fabricated narratives to deceive the world and justify the raid on the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, warning that the Israeli military attack aims to continue destroying the healthcare system in northern Gaza.”

It called on the international community to reject the Israeli practices against the Al-Shifa Medical Complex and Gaza hospitals.

The ministry also called on international institutions to immediately head to the Al-Shifa Medical Complex to protect it and everyone inside and to prevent the Israeli targeting specifically aimed at it.

Occupation shoot and injure four civilians in the al-Rashid Street in central Gaza

GAZA, Monday, March 18, 2024 (WAFA) –

At least four civilians today were shot and injured by Israeli forces live` bullets after they were targeted near Al-Rashid Street in Al-Zahraa City in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that that two children were killed in an Israeli strike that  targeted a home in the city of Khan Younus.

Ambulance and civil crews managed to transport the bodies of the two dead children to Al-Najjar Hospital in the city of Rafa'h.

In a related context, Israeli military tanks continue to besiege the buildings of the Shifa Complex and threaten those present in the Complex to target them directly if they move.

Local sources said that the displaced people who sought refuge inside Al-Shifa complex issued distress calls, fearing that a massacre would take place against them.

Simultaneously, Israeli military army further forced the residents of the Al-Rimal neighborhood and the displaced people in the Al-Shifa Medical Complex to leave towards the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city of  Khan Younus.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces detained Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail al-Ghoul from inside the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City after they brutally assaulted and beat him.

A fire had broken out at the gate of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, causing suffocation cases among displaced women and children inside the Complex following Israeli military incursion of the hospital this morning.

The forces also cut off communications for about 30,000 displaced people inside the Complex during the incursion.

This is the second time that the occupation forces have stormed the Shifa Medical Complex since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on the 7th of last October.

They had stormed it for the first time on the 16th of last November after besieging it for at least a week and withdrew from the hospital in November 24 after causing massive destruction of its courtyards, parts of its buildings, medical equipment and the hospital’s electricity generator.

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers today's morning placed posters on the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), in Al-Shaikh Jarra'h neighborhood, north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

A video footage shows a group of the illegal Israeli settlers placing posters at the main entrance to the agency’s headquarters, calling for the closure of UNRWA and threatening its workers.

The intensity of Israeli incitement against UNRWA and its headquarters in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) has recently escalated, according to security and local sources.

The deputy mayor of the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, Aryeh King, in Jerusalem, recently sent a letter to the extremist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, ordering him to evacuate the international agency from its headquarters in the Shaikh Jarra'h neighborhood in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

He also demanded the evacuation of the Qalandiya Training College, north of the city, or what is known as the “Vocational Training Center.” of UNRWA.
