While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

UN official: In Gaza, there are no more “normal-sized babies”

Saturday 16-March-2024, Al-Quds (Jerusalem), (PIC)

The humanitarian situation in the war-torn Gaza Strip is a “nightmare” for mothers and babies, a UN official said.

“Doctors are reporting frequent small and sickly newborns, stillbirths, and women forced to undergo C-sections without adequate anesthesia,” Dominic Allen, UN Population Fund (UNFPA) representative for the state of Palestine, said in a video news conference from Occupied Jerusalem on Friday.

Allen, who recently visited the Emirati hospital in Rafa'h in southern Gaza, said conditions in the facility’s maternity ward are deeply disturbing. “I’m personally leaving Gaza this week terrified for the one million women and girls of Gaza … and most especially for the 180 women who are giving birth every single day.”

“Doctors are reporting that they no longer see normal-sized babies. What they do see though, tragically, is more stillborn births … and more neonatal deaths, caused in part by malnutrition, dehydration and complications.”

“We have had reports of insufficient anesthetic being available” for Caesarean sections, “which again is unthinkable.”

“Those mothers should be wrapping their arms around their children,” he said. “Those children should not be wrapped in a body bag.”

Allen said Israeli authorities had refused to allow in some UNFPA supply shipments, such as kits for midwives, or had removed supplies like flashlights and solar panels.

“It is a nightmare which is much more than a humanitarian crisis,” he said. “It is a crisis of humanity… beyond catastrophic.”

What he saw while driving through Gaza, he said, “really broke my heart.”

Everyone he passed or spoke to, Allen said, “was gaunt, emaciated, hungry” and exhausted from the daily struggle to survive.

At one military checkpoint, he said, he saw a boy who appeared to be about five years old walking with his hands held high, clearly frightened, as his slightly older sister followed behind, holding a white flag.

GMO: At least 56 people killed in Israeli attacks on aid centers in 48 hours

Friday 15-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out five separate attacks on aid distribution centers in the past 48 hours in the Gaza Strip, killing 56 people and injuring more than 300 others, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) on Friday.

The first of these massacres occurred at a UNRWA aid distribution center in Rafa'h, which claimed the lives of 5 people. Two other citizens working in providing aid were martyred when their car was bombed in Rafa'h Governorate.

The IOFs also bombed another aid distribution center in the Nusayrat camp in the Central Governorate, killing 8 people.

The IOFs also killed 11 people on Tuesday and Wednesday, and killed more than 30 civilians last night while waiting for aid trucks at the Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza Governorate.

“We hold the US administration and the international community, in addition to the Israeli occupation, fully responsible for the crime of genocide,” the GMO said.

“We call on all countries of the free world to pressure the occupation to stop the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing against our Palestinian people,” it concluded.

UNICEF: 1 in 3 children under 2 years of age are acutely malnourished in the north of Gaza Strip

Friday 15-March-2024, GENEVA, (PIC)

31 percent – or 1 in 3 children under 2 years of age – in the Northern Gaza Strip suffer from acute malnutrition, according to nutrition screenings conducted by UNICEF.

Malnutrition among children is spreading fast and reaching devastating and unprecedented levels in the Gaza Strip due to the wide-reaching impacts of the war and ongoing restrictions on aid delivery, the UN organization said.

At least 23 children in Northern Gaza Strip have reportedly died from malnutrition and dehydration in recent weeks, adding to the mounting toll of children killed in the Strip in this current conflict – about 13,450 reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Nutrition screenings conducted by UNICEF and partners in the north in February found that 4.5 percent of the children in shelters and health centers suffer from severe wasting, the most life-threatening form of malnutrition, which puts children at the highest risk of medical complications and death unless they receive urgent therapeutic feeding and treatment, which is not available. The prevalence of acute malnutrition among children under 5 years of age in the north has increased from 13 percent to as high as 25 percent.

“The speed at which this catastrophic child malnutrition crisis in Gaza has unfolded is shocking, especially when desperately needed assistance has been at the ready just a few miles away,” said Catherine Russell, UNICEF Executive Director.

“We have repeatedly attempted to deliver additional aid and we have repeatedly called for the access challenges we have faced for months to be addressed. Instead, the situation for children is getting worse by each passing day. Our efforts in providing life-saving aid are being hampered by unnecessary restrictions, and those are costing children their lives.”

Four Palestinian factions slam Abbas’s decree on forming new government

Friday 15-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

Four Palestinian factions criticized the decree issued by the Palestinian Authority (PA) President Ma'hmoud 'Abbas, appointing Mu'hammed Mustafa as the head of a new PA government, calling on the national forces, especially the Fat'h movement, to take serious and effective action in order to manage this stage in a way that serves the Palestinian cause.

A joint statement, issued on Friday by 'Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Palestinian National Initiative, stressed that the highest national priority now is to confront the Israeli aggression and war of genocide and starvation being waged against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, to confront the crimes of the illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and to deter the Israeli plans of enforced displacement.

The four factions said that the sole decision-making such as forming a new government lacking national consensus reinforces the policy of exclusivity, and deepens the internal division, while the Palestinians are currently in dire need for consensus and unity as well as the formation of a unified national leadership that would prepare for holding democratic elections with the participation of all factions representing the Palestinian people.

The four factions wondered about the feasibility of replacing the government and prime minister with alternatives of the same political and partisan environment.

The factions expressed their rejection of the Palestinian Authority’s persistence in its policy of exclusivity and ignoring national efforts to unite Palestinians in the face of the Israeli aggression.

Palestinian prisoner dies in Israeli prison, amid reports of widespread systematic torture

RAMALLAH, Saturday, March 16, 2024 (WAFA) -

Palestinian detainee Jum'a Abu Ghaneema, 26, has died in the Israeli prison of Al-Naqab (Negev), the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission and Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) today announced, bringing the total number of prisoners and detainees who have died in Israeli prisons since October 7 to 13 due to torture and medical negligence .

PPS pointed out that Israeli occupation prison service announced the transfer of the detainee Abu Ghaneema in a serious health condition from his cell in Eshel prison to a hospital, five days ago.

The commission and PPS said in a joint statement that Abu Ghaneema was arrested in January for his resistance to the occupation.

The Israeli media had revealed the death of several detainees from Gaza behind Israeli jails, and to this day the occupation refuses to disclose their identities, in light of its continued implementation of the crime of enforced disappearance against Gaza detainees after October 7.

The commission and PPS held the occupation prison administration, which continues to carry out torture and systematic medical negligence against Palestinian detainees held in Israeli jails, which significantly escalated after October 7,  the full responsible for the death of Abu Ghaneema.

PPS and the Commission said in a joint statement that 250 Palestinian prisoners died in Israeli prison since the Israeli occupation of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), in 1967.

The total number of Palestinian detainees held in occupation jails surged to 9,100, including 3,558 administrative detainees.
