While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

EU: Gaza requires at least 500 aid trucks daily

Thursday 14-March-2024, BRUSSELS, (PIC)

President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on Thursday, confirmed the need for the Gaza Strip to receive a minimum of 500 trucks or their equivalent in aid daily.

In a post on the “X” platform, von der Leyen stated that the maritime corridor for transporting humanitarian aid to Gaza must be part of a continuous effort to increase the flow of aid to Gaza through all routes, including expanded land routes.

During his “State of the Union” speech on March 8, US President Joe Biden announced that he had instructed the military to establish a temporary port near the coast of Gaza, noting that more humanitarian aid would enter Gaza by sea through the port.

On the same day, President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, announced during a joint press conference with President of the European Commission Von der Leyen, the imminent opening of a maritime passage for the transportation of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

In another development, Arab and Western ministers issued a statement on Thursday stating that there is no alternative to land routes for delivering aid to Gaza. The statement emphasized that land routes through Egypt and Jordan, as well as the crossings between Israel and Gaza, are the best alternative for delivering aid on a large scale.

The joint statement, published by the US Department of State on its website, followed a ministerial meeting attended by foreign ministers of the United States, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, and Britain, in addition to the EU Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič.

The statement stressed that Israel should necessarily open additional crossings to facilitate the delivery of more aid to Gaza, especially in the northern part of the Strip, and to ease customs restrictions to facilitate the increased flow of life-saving humanitarian aid.

The statement affirmed that the opening of the Ashdod port for humanitarian aid would be welcomed and would complement the ongoing work to establish the maritime corridor.

The attending ministers also discussed the possibility of establishing a joint fund to support the maritime corridor for delivering aid to Gaza and to coordinate material and financial contributions to sustain its operations.

US Secretary of State, Blinken, announced in a press conference on Wednesday that maritime operations to deliver aid to Gaza are not sufficient and that Israel should open additional land crossings to ensure the permanent delivery of aid.

In the same context, the US military announced on Wednesday that some of its ships are heading to Gaza to establish a temporary port for delivering humanitarian aid to the besieged territory.

With the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan this year, the residents of the Gaza Strip, especially in northern Gaza, are on the verge of famine due to severe shortages of food, water, medicine, and fuel. This is compounded by the displacement of over two million Palestinians from the Strip as a result of the brutal war waged by Israel on Gaza for the sixth consecutive month.

'Hamas warns of installing iron barriers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Thursday 14-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has warned of the Israeli occupation apartheid regime's installation of iron barriers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that the Palestinian people will not allow their sanctities to be violated.

The Israeli installation of iron barriers at Al-Aqsa Mosque is a malicious attempt to prevent worshipers from reaching the Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan and deprive them of performing prayers, especially Tarawee'h prayers, the Movement said in a statement issued Thursday.

“We warn the occupation against going too far in its measures against Al-Aqsa Mosque, and we affirm that our steadfast people will remain loyal and vigilant, and will not remain silent in the face of the occupation’s efforts to harm the status of the Aqsa Mosque,” the statement reads.

The Movement also called on the people of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the West Bank, and within the 1948 territory, to mobilize and confront the Israeli plans against the holy site.

“We call on the masses of our Arab and Islamic nations to assume their responsibilities and protect their first qibla”, the statement concluded.

Gaza’s resilient doctors: Wedding at Al-Shifa Hospital

Wednesday 13-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The decision of the doctors, Tha-ir Dababish and Asmaa Jabr, to get married was not easy due to the ongoing Israeli war for the past five months and the imposed siege on the Gaza Strip, as well as the Israeli army’s bombardment of the expected wedding home.

However, the long duration of the war, the separation of families, and the absence of the basic necessities of life forced the couple to choose between surrendering or resisting and continuing with their lives and starting a family.

Indeed, the determination of the couple was stronger than the deadly war machine. They decided to get married and continue their lives, starting with a small and simple ceremony inside Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the western part of Gaza City, amidst their colleagues who are struggling to provide medical services after the complete deterioration of the enclave’s health sector due to the war.

The couple held the wedding without the bride wearing her white dress she had always dreamed of, and without their relatives accompanying her on that special day. The joy was diminished due to the absence of family and friends and the absence of real celebration ceremonies.

The couple had hoped that their parents and siblings would be present at the wedding ceremony, as well as hosting a large feast, as is customary for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which is suffering from a real famine due to the tight Israeli blockade.

The couple had previously (decided to marry) in July 2023, and their wedding ceremony was scheduled for November 15th last year, but the continuation of the war prevented that.

The couple chose November 15th as the date for their wedding ceremony to coincide with the anniversary of the late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat’s declaration of the Declaration of Independence, in which he announced the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

One of the doctors who announced their marriage during the celebration said, “Despite the suffering, the bombings, the martyrs, and the wounded, we congratulate the marriage of the Palestinians, Tha-ir Dababish and Asmaa Jabr.”

He added, “Despite the bombing of the couple’s house during the war, they insisted on the wedding that was scheduled to take place on November 15th, the day of the announcement of Palestine’s independence, but the continuation of the war prevented that.”

He pointed out that “most of the bride’s family members are displaced in the southern areas of the Gaza Strip and were unable to attend the wedding ceremony.”

The doctor wished for the war to end as soon as possible and for the couple to enjoy a happy married life.

On November 15th of each year, Palestinians commemorate the anniversary of the declaration of the Palestinian Declaration of Independence before the National Council, which was held in Algeria in 1988.

Despite the declaration of independence, the Israeli occupation of Palestine since 1948 still persists, as Israel controls 85% of the historical Palestinian territory, according to official Palestinian statistics.

Since October 7th, 2023, Israel has been waging a brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of civilian martyrs, most of whom are children and women, and causing a humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure.

Anemia of mothers deprives Gaza children of breastfeeding

Monday 11-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

Newly delivered women in the Gaza Strip suffer from the inability to breastfeed their babies naturally due to malnutrition resulting from war and blockade. As a result, they resort to compensating with artificial infant formula.

This comes amidst most hospitals in the Gaza Strip being out of service due to the devastating Israeli aggression on beleaguered enclave. Some hospitals, however, continue to provide healthcare services under extremely difficult and complex conditions.

One such hospitals is Al-'Hilu International Hospital in northern Gaza, which still operates despite Israeli restrictions and the tightened blockade.

Inside the hospital corridors, Palestinian mother Nahil Abu Sam'an tries to soothe her hungry infant with small doses of milk, amidst severe shortages of infant formula. Nahil suffers from malnutrition due to the Israeli prevention of food and medicine.

She says, “I gave birth to my child in Al-'Hilu International Hospital under very difficult conditions. I have no clothes for the baby, no milk, no food, and no drinks.”

Nahil appeals to the world to stop the genocidal war on Gaza, provide relief to the residents, and offer medical and humanitarian support to hospitals operating in the sector so they can provide proper healthcare to patients and the injured.

Doctor Raja Jihad describes the situation of women in the hospital, saying, “Pregnant women come suffering from malnutrition, without any preparations for childbirth or baby needs. They don’t even have any post-natal meals.”

She adds, “Some pregnant women lack the necessary nutrients and water. We try our best to provide them and protect the pregnant woman from any danger to her life and her baby’s life.” She emphasizes that the shortage of nutrients negatively affects the health of breastfeeding mothers, who need proper and adequate nutrition to support breastfeeding.

She points out the challenges faced by hospital staff, including power outages, working in darkness, shortage of sterilization materials, medicines, medical supplies, and the fuel needed to operate backup generators.

Tharwat Al-'Hilu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Helu International Hospital, confirms that the healthcare system in Gaza and the north has completely collapsed. He explains that the hospital has received many cases since the beginning of the war, including natural and cesarean births, postnatal surgeries, severe infections, and malnutrition.

He adds that the medical teams in the hospital conduct medical tests and examinations for about 70 cases daily, revealing that all mothers suffer from severe anemia and unprecedented severe infections.

He points out the difficulties and challenges facing their work, including the shortage of fuel, medical supplies, relief aid, the famine experienced by Gaza, and the water crisis. He stresses the importance of providing food for mothers, children, and medical staff.

Al-'Hilu notes that no aid has reached the hospital since the beginning of the ground invasion in Gaza at the end of last October, confirming that they are living in a real famine. This has led to the inability of women to breastfeed their children due to malnutrition, in the absence of sufficient quantities of infant formula.

Global health organizations warn of the effects of the policy of starvation and blockade, calling for aid, assistance, and relief for the children of Gaza and their mothers vis-à-vis the health disaster caused by the brutal Israeli war on Gaza Strip.

The Ministry confirmed that the toll of Israeli aggression has risen to 31,490 martyrs and 73,439 injuries since October 7.

Since then, the IOFs has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 120,000 martyrs, wounded, and missing persons, 70% of whom were children and women, in addition to the displacement of two million people and the massive destruction of homes and infrastructure, affecting more than 60% of the buildings amid a suffocating siege, a stifling humanitarian crisis, and an unprecedented famine.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 161

Friday 15-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 161 on Friday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes, shelter centers, aid convoys, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds of citizens.

Early today, a young man was killed in an Israeli artillery shelling on Al-Qarara town, in Khan Younus.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of air raids on various areas of the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli artillery bombed north of Al-Nusayrat camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli air raids also targeted several areas in Khan Younus and bombed the Al-Jalaa neighborhood in Gaza City.

Bloody airstrikes were also reported in Dair El-Bala'h in the center of the Gaza Strip and east of Rafa'h, south of the enclave.

Dozens of Palestinians killed, injured in a new flour massacre

Friday 15-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a new flour massacre against dozens of starving people while waiting for aid near the Kuwait roundabout, southeast of Gaza City, amid the ongoing genocide war and starvation campaign in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Euro-Med Monitor, the incident has resulted in over 30 deaths and 160 injuries, some of which are critical.

Amid the conditions of famine created by Israel’s government, the Israeli army continues to deliberately commit massacres in the besieged enclave, Euro-Med said.

The Israeli targeting of civilians while they attempt to obtain humanitarian aid has persisted for the fifth consecutive day now, with the total number of casualties from the “Flour Massacres” reaching over 500 deaths.

The latest massacre occurred just one day after Israeli forces killed six Palestinians and injured dozens more; all of the victims were waiting for aid trucks at the Kuwait roundabout. Wednesday also witnessed an Israeli strike on a United Nations warehouse and food distribution center located in the southern city of Rafa'h, resulting in the death of at least one employee and the injury of 22 others.

100+ martyrs in Gaza's Kuwait Roundabout Massacre

Al-Mayadeen English, March 15, 2024, 13:31

The Government Media Office and the Ministry of Health in Gaza have revealed that the death toll from the Kuwait roundabout massacre is on the rise, reaching over 100 martyrs, with 200 injured.

Injured and martyred Palestinians arrive at Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza following the Israeli massacre near the Kuwait Roundabout on March 14, 2024. (Social Media)

The Government Media Office in Gaza reported that the death toll of the Kuwait Roundabout massacre has risen to over 100 martyrs, with 200 others injured.

On Thursday evening, an Israeli airstrike targeted a gathering of starved Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid packages at the Kuwait Roundabout in southern Gaza, Al Mayadeen's correspondent had reported.

The casualties were transported to four different hospitals: Al-Maamadani and Al-Shifa in Gaza City, and Al-Awda and Kamal Adwan hospitals in northern Gaza. The Ministry of Health in Gaza, meanwhile, said rescue missions to pull out martyrs and injured individuals from underneath the rubble are still ongoing despite the difficulties and dangers on the field.

The ministry then emphasized that the Kuwait roundabout massacre was further proof of the Israeli occupation's intentions to commit more horrendous crimes, and added that the number of martyrs is expected to increase as more casualties, in dire condition, arrived at the different hospitals in Gaza.

Civil defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal revealed to Al Mayadeen that IOF warplanes initially opened live fire at Palestinians waiting for aid, then the occupation's artillery shelled the roundabout, committing the massacre.

"After Palestinians fled for safety and hid in between buildings amid the IOF shoot-out, "Israel" then targeted and bombed them... The aftermath was catastrophic, and many martyrs were killed," he said.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

Human rights organizations caution against Israel’s liquidation of prisoner Walid Daqqa

Thursday 14-March-2024, RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) warned against Israel’s gradual liquidation of the 62-year-old sick prisoner Walid Daqqa whose health condition is dramatically deteriorating in Israeli jails.

The two human rights groups said in a joint statement on Wednesday that prisoner Daqqa has been repeatedly transferred to hospital, with no further information on his current health condition.

The statement indicated that Israel prison Service (IPS) has been deliberately obstructing his visitation by lawyers and legal teams and denying him his right to communicate with his family.

The statement added that the IPS informed on Wednesday Daqqa’s lawyer that he was transferred from Al-Ramla prison clinic to 'Assaf 'Harofa Hospital, after a new deterioration in his health condition.

The two human rights organizations’ statement noted that the elderly sick prisoner Daqqa, who is from Baqa Al-Gharbiya town in the West Bank, suffers from a rare bone marrow cancer, describing his health condition as extremely dangerous.

The two groups held the Israeli occupation authorities responsible for the fate of prisoner Daqqa, who is one of the oldest and most prominent prisoners in Israeli jails, as Israel has been refusing for many decades to release him as part of any exchange or release deals.

New Israeli raids, kidnappings across West Bank

Friday 15-March-2024, West Bank, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped a number of Palestinians after breaking into several towns in the West Bank overnight and at dawn Friday.

In Jenin, the IOFs stormed Arraba town, raided the prisoner Thabit Mardawi’s house, and arrested his son. The ex-prisoner Thabit Abu 'Azeeza was also detained during the raid after brutally storming his family house and attacking his elderly father.

In Toulkarm, the IOFs troops stormed the city and deployed throughout its neighborhoods, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

At least four people were detained during the raid, including a father and son.

Several commercial shops and residential buildings were also stormed in the city.

Similar raids were also reported in Bala’a and Dair Al-Ghusoun towns in Toulkarm.

In Nablus, Israeli occupation forces broke into Burqa and carried out a large-scale raid and kidnapping campaign.

Violent clashes also erupted in the Al-Fari’a camp, south of Toubas, after it was violently stormed by the Israeli occupation army.

In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Ram town and deployed throughout its neighborhoods.
