While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Thousands of Palestinian Muslims perform dawn prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque despite restrictions

Monday 11-March-2024, Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Thousands of Palestinian Muslim worshipers performed the Fajr (dawn) prayer on Monday, the first day of Ramadhan, despite the Israeli restrictions imposed on their access to their holy site.

Local sources said that thousands of Palestinians from Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and 1948 occupied Palestine challenged the Israeli security measures in the holy city and managed to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque for prayers.

The Israeli occupation police have tightened their security measures around and in the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), especially at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and deployed thousands of its forces in its streets.

According to local sources, the Israeli police prevented the Palestinians coming from the West Bank from entering Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) to perform prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadhan.

Last night, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime police also obstructed the movement of Palestinian citizens in the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), provocatively searched many of them and barred others from entering the Islamic holy site.

Police officers also prevented Muslim worshipers from entering the Mosque through Al-Qatanin Gate.

Israeli police obstruct Palestinian worshipers’ access to Al-Aqsa Mosque

Sunday 10-March-2024, Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police forces blocked hundreds of worshipers’ access to Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform Tarawee'h prayers on the first night of the holy month of Ramadhan.

Eyewitnesses affirmed that “Israeli forces detained a number of worshipers at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented their access to it.”

According to the sources, the Israeli authorities imposed tight restrictions on youths’ entry into the Mosque, and allowed only women and men over the age of 40 into the site.

Thousands of Palestinian Muslims performed Tarawee'h prayers on Sunday evening in Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem), on the eve of the first day of the holy month of Ramadhan.

Healthcare staff in northern Gaza starts Ramadhan with no food

Monday 11-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

More than 2,000 medical personnel working in northern Gaza will begin their Ramadhan without having anything to eat for su'hoor or iftar (pre-dawn or sunset meals), the health ministry in Gaza said.

“Medical teams are working around the clock in northern Gaza and do not find anything to eat,” spokesman for the ministry Ashraf Al-Qidra said on Monday.

“The medical crews in northern Gaza have emaciated bodies because they do not find meals to eat,” spokesman Al-Qidra added.

The spokesman called on international and relief institutions to provide ready-made meals to enable medical crews to carry out their work.

UNRWA: Ramadhan comes as extreme hunger spreads in Gaza

Sunday 10-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

As millions around the world start observing the holy month of Ramadan, sadly in Gaza and across the region, many will mark this month facing conflict, displacement, and fear, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said in a social media post.

The situation in the north is tragic, where aid via land is denied despite repeated calls, the UN agency added.

“As Ramadhan approaches, humanitarian access across the Gaza Strip and an immediate ceasefire are imperative to save lives,” it elaborated.

UNRWA added, “Our teams manage warehouses and continue to deliver food, water, hygiene kits, and other critical humanitarian aid. But we cannot meet the needs of people without safe and unimpeded access across the Gaza Strip.”

Two Gazan children die of malnutrition and dehydration

GAZA, Monday, March 11, 2024 (WAFA) –

Medical sources said on Monday that two Palestinian children died due to famine, bringing the number of victims of malnutrition to 27.

The sources said that two children died as a result of malnutrition, dehydration, and lack of medical supplies, at Kamal 'Idwan Hospital in Bait Lahya in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Strip, especially the northern region, is grappling with severe shortages in food, water, medication, and fuel. Even the aid reaching the southern region of the enclave has been insufficient, particularly with the displacement of over 1.3 million people from northern Gaza to the south, notably to Rafa'h.

The Israeli occupation forces not only prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into northern Gaza but also intentionally target citizens as they await the arrival of desperately needed aid supplies. This has resulted in the tragic murder of hundreds of civilians and injuries to many more.

The World Health Organization has warned that malnutrition is particularly exacerbated in the northern region, where infrastructure destruction and shortages in water, food, and medication have prevailed since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Badran: There is nothing new about ceasefire negotiations

Sunday 10-March-2024, DO'HA, (PIC)

'Hamas Political Bureau member 'Husam Badran affirmed that there is nothing new regarding the ceasefire negotiations, stressing that the Israeli occupation apartheid regime is stalling by refusing to respond to the Palestinian demands.

“There is nothing new,” Badran told CNN, saying that the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, refuses to respond to fair Palestinian demands regarding Gaza’s basic needs.

He listed “stopping the killing, withdrawal, providing relief, and the return of the displaced people without conditions” as the main Palestinian demands.

There’s no scheduled date for resuming ceasefire and prisoner release talks in Cairo, he added.

The 'Hamas delegation left Cairo last week after talks made no significant progress.

Haniyya: No agreement without ending the war

Monday 11-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The head of the political bureau of 'Hamas, Ismail Haniyya, said in a televised speech on Sunday evening, “Ramadan is peace upon Gaza, which continues to paint the picture of freedom and honor for Palestine with the blood of its sons and daughters, the barricades of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Quds (Jerusalem) with the souls of its youth, women, men, children, tents, displacement, and hunger.”

Haniyya added, “The hateful criminal enemy who continues the crime of the century, in which he wrote his death certificate as an occupier, will be held accountable no matter how long it takes, whether it be long or short. Gaza, you still stand patiently and steadfastly against massacres, slaughters, starvation, displacement, and Gaza says to them that we are seekers of freedom and dignity.”

He continued, saying, “The seventh of October is a pivotal historical day in the life of the Palestinian cause and a strategic turning point in the conflict with the occupying Zionist enemy. It has brought the Palestinian issue back to the forefront of the international scene, in line with its political and humanitarian dimensions and its sacred centrality after colonial forces tried to consign it to oblivion and the margins of history.”

He affirmed, “Our Movement over the past months, through the front line led by the factions of the resistance, foremost among them the Al-Qassam Brigades, has defended its people on all battlefronts, on every inch and every street of our beloved territory, and has recorded glorious pages in the history of this people’s resistance, uprisings, and successive revolutions.”

Haniyya continued, “I want to clarify to our people in general, our nation, and the free people of the world, but specifically to our people in Gaza, that since the beginning, in this negotiation process through the mediation of our brothers in Qatar and Egypt, we have set several conditions in order to reach an agreement, most importantly that we want an agreement that leads to a ceasefire and an end to the war.”

The 'Hamas leader emphasized, “We want to translate this legendary resilience, heroism, courage, and sacrifices into real achievements for our people on the same battlefield and on the national and general political level.”

He added, “We also want to thwart all suspicious schemes that target Gaza in its national, administrative, and political dimensions, what is now referred to as the aftermath of the war on Gaza.”

He continued, “We have insisted on the most important principle to reach an agreement, which is a comprehensive ceasefire and an end to the war on Gaza, the complete withdrawal of the occupation army from all the territory of the Strip, the full and unconditional return of the displaced to their homes, and all the humanitarian issues, such as relief, assistance, shelter, reconstruction, and the lifting of the blockade.”

Haniyya said, “We also seek to reach an honorable deal that includes the exchange of prisoners, and the Movement has shown high responsibility, positivity, and flexibility in all dialogue sessions and negotiations with our brothers in Egypt and Qatar.”

“I say to you with clarity, responsibility, and impartiality that the enemy until now is evading giving clear guarantees and commitments, especially regarding the ceasefire, that is, the cessation of the aggressive war on the Strip,” he added.

Haniyya explained, “Just a few hours before this speech, I was in contact with our brothers, the mediators, and we did not receive any commitment from the enemy to the ceasefire. It means that they want to regain the prisoners and resume the war on our people and our Strip.”

The Hamas top official pointed out that the enemy refuses the mediators’ request for redeployment and repositioning of the occupying army forces inside the Gaza Strip, and has not made any commitment so far to the return of the displaced to their homes.

He noted that the enemy talks about the gradual return of the displaced without specifying any clear guidelines and determinants, and insists on staying in central Gaza, dividing the Strip into two halves.

“No agreement that does not end the war,” Haniyya said. “We do not want to give an agreement that does not end the war on the Gaza Strip or that does not return our displaced people to their homes, or an agreement that does not guarantee the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy from the Gaza Strip, especially from the central part of the Strip to outside the Gaza Strip.”

He stressed, “We do not want to give an agreement that does not ensure the humanitarian issues for our people in the entire Gaza Strip, especially in the northern part of the Strip, which suffers from the policy of starvation, where children, the elderly, and women die due to this hunger imposed by the enemy through its military blockade on the city of Gaza and the northern part of the Strip.”

Haniyya added, “We have shown the highest levels of positivity and responsibility, and we said that in order to achieve these principles and reach an agreement, the agreement must be comprehensive in three interrelated stages, and it must also have international guarantees to compel the occupation to abide by what is agreed upon.”

He continued, “I tell you with clarity that the responsibility for not reaching an agreement lies with the occupation and the government of the Zionist enemy because they do not want to commit to the basic principles of the agreement. Nevertheless, I say that we are open to continuing the negotiations, open to any formulas that achieve these principles and end this aggression.”

The enemy’s claims about exploiting Ramadhan

Haniyya pointed out that the enemy claims that 'Hamas and the resistance factions do not want to reach an agreement because they want to exploit the blessed month of Ramadan in order to incite the West Bank, the 1948 occupied Palestine, the diaspora, and the nation. “We believe that the nation has obligations and commitments during Ramadhan, before Ramadhan, and after Ramadhan towards Gaza, Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

He added, “But we certainly honor the holy month of Ramadan and what it carries of cultural, jihadist, and intellectual stock for our people and our nation. We do not exchange this occasion for any drop of blood of a child, a woman, an elderly person, a martyr, or a fighter from the sons of our people today.”

Regarding the condition of the resistance’s agreement to proceed with negotiations, Haniyya clarified, “Today, I say if we receive a clear position from the mediators about the occupation’s commitment to withdrawal, cessation of aggression, and the return of the displaced ready to reach the completion of the stages of this agreement and to show flexibility in terms of the issue of exchange and prisoners.”

He said, “Yes, the issue of prisoners is important, and the enemy must understand that it will pay a price in the issue of exchange. But among the priorities is the protection of our people, the cessation of aggression, the cessation of massacres, the return of the displaced, and the opening of a political horizon for our cause and our people.”

He continued: “This is what I wanted to clarify to you, brothers and sisters, so that no one falls prey to rumors and biased media campaigns. We know that there is a psychological war being waged by this occupation and attempts to sow discord and create chaos, but all of that will fail.”

The enemy has failed at all confrontation arenas

Haniyya emphasized that this occupier did not succeed at any of the confrontation arenas with the Palestinian people throughout the decades of conflict, so how can it succeed in the face of this heroism, this might, and this great legendary resilience of the people in the Battle of the Aqsa Flood?

He said, “The battle is entering its sixth month, and the enemy has not achieved any of its military objectives. It has not eliminated Hamas or the resistance despite everything our Palestinian people have been subjected to. It has not recovered any of its captives, and it will not recover them except through an agreement.”

He pointed out that the enemy has failed to displace our people and divide the Gaza Strip despite all the massacres, genocides, and ethnic cleansing it has practiced against the Palestinian people. “But our people are deeply rooted in their land, their homeland, their tents, and under the rubble, despite thousands of wounded and missing.”

He added, “The enemy will not succeed at all in any of its projects, neither in creating chaos nor in sowing discord nor in changing the equations of our Palestinian people, who are the ones building the equation.”

The 'Hamas leader continued his speech, “And we say to our people that efforts are ongoing with all countries, institutions, and organizations to stop this savage inhuman aggression against our Palestinian people. Therefore, we support every step and every path that alleviates the suffering of our Palestinian people and eliminates the policy of starvation.”

He affirmed that there is no alternative at all to reopening all the land crossings to the Gaza Strip and allowing all humanitarian needs to enter the Gaza Strip through these crossings, in addition to all other roads and means.

Palestinian Reconciliation

Regarding the issue of Palestinian reconciliation, Haniyya stated that they want to organize the Palestinian house, which involves rebuilding the national consensus through the Palestine Liberation Organization and reaching an agreement to form a national unity government with specific tasks and a temporary timeframe until the holding of general legislative and presidential elections.

Haniyya said, “We must agree on a political program for our people in this stage. We have presented a political approach on this level, which entails ending the Zionist occupation of our land in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and establishing an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty, with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital, along with the right of return and self-determination.”

Salute to the resilient fighters on all resistance fronts

Haniyya continued his speech by saying, “I send greetings to all the people of our nation, especially our people in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the West Bank, and I urge them to utilize the blessed month of Ramadhan to support the Battle of the Aqsa Flood, to protect Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to confront any conspiracies targeting our holy sites, both Islamic and Christian.”

He added, “I salute all the resistance fronts that support our people’s struggle and support the resistance. I salute the heroic Lebanese front, the wise and courageous Yemeni front, and the authentic Iraqi front, which is not far from these fronts that support the resistance.”

Haniyya continued, “I salute all the people of our nation and all the masses who come out in every capital of our Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the free people of the world who come out in the United States and European capitals (in support of Gaza).”

The 'Hamas leader concluded saying, “I salute South Africa, which brought this enemy, for the first time since its establishment as a usurping entity on our land, to the International Court of Justice. I salute all the countries that support this path, support our people, and support our legitimate right to our land and holy sites.”

Gaza: Death toll surges to 31,112 martyrs

Monday 11-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed seven massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 67 civilians and injuring over 106 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 31,112 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 72,760 people.

Every day, the Israeli army escalates its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.
