Editor's Notes:

Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip:

By January 15, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 32,100+.

This includes the accounted for deaths (24,100) and those who are still missing under the rubble (Corrected on December 23, 2023: 8,000+).

By January 15, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 60,834, and more than 2,520 civilians have been abducted from Gaza Strip.

By January 4, 2023, the death toll included 9,730+ children and 6,830+ women.

By January 15, 2024, there were 348 Palestinians who were killed, 3,614 who were injured, and 5,854, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023 (Some of the today's reported detained 5,903 have been released).

About 12,091 Palestinians, from both the West Bank and Gaza, have been detained in 2023. About half of them were detained after October 7. This included 1,085 children and 300 women.

The total number of detainees in the occupation prisons until the end of December was 8,800, and the number of administrative detainees was 3,291.

By January 9, 2023,  there was a complete destruction of 69,000+ housing units, and a partial destruction of 290,000+ housing units (60% of Gaza housing units). This forced about 1.5 million people to become homeless, taking refuge in crowded UN schools and ultimately sleeping in the streets.

The Israeli refusal to allow international aid caravans to enter Gaza freely led the Palestinian population to be on the verge of mass extermination for the lack of food, water, medicine, and fuel.

By January 9, 2024, 326 health personnel and 97 journalists were killed and hundreds were injured, 121 ambulances were destroyed while on duty, killing and injuring their crews, and destroyed 150 health institutions. As a result of the strikes and lack of fuel, 30 hospitals and 53 primary care centers are not functioning. In addition, 99 health personnel have been abducted by the invading Israeli occupation forces.

Meanwhile, 134 government offices and 95 schools and universities were completely destroyed, while 295 schools and universities were partially damaged.

138 mosques were completely destroyed, while 240 others were partially damaged, in addition to three churches.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza, which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

100 days of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza: Massive destruction and legendary resilience

Monday 15-January-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

With a bloody toll marking the 100th day of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, during which it failed to achieve its declared objectives, Palestinians remain resilient, enduring their pain in displacement camps and rejecting displacement plans.

Over the course of 100 days, the Israeli occupation forces leveled residential neighborhoods and entire towns, altering the geographical landscape of many communities. However, they did not succeed in breaking the will of the resistance or the people.

Bloody Toll

In the observations of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, nearly 100,000 Palestinians are counted among the martyrs, missing, and wounded, including those with long-term disabilities, on the 100th day of the genocidal crime committed by Israel in Gaza.

Euro-Med’s preliminary statistics confirm the martyrdom of 31,497 Palestinians as of last Saturday evening, with 28,951 civilian casualties, constituting approximately 92% of the total victims.

This toll includes 12,345 children, 6,471 women, 295 healthcare workers, 41 civil defense members, and 113 journalists. Additionally, 61,079 people suffered various injuries, including hundreds in critical condition.

Euro-Med emphasizes that its figures, in addition to the Palestinian Ministry of Health’s statistics, encompass thousands of victims still under the rubble of destroyed buildings, indicating the likelihood of their non-survival and their definitive loss.

At the same time, hundreds of lifeless bodies remain in the streets and roads, difficult to retrieve due to the ongoing Israeli military attacks. These bodies have not yet been officially counted among the victims.

90% Displacement

As a result of the Israeli aggression, nearly 2 million Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homes and residential areas in Gaza, representing 90% of the total population. Continuous Israeli airstrikes completely destroyed around 69,700 housing units and partially damaged 187,300 units, depriving the displaced of the realistic and near-range prospect of returning to their homes.

Israel, according to the Euro Med, deliberately destroys and inflicts severe damage on Gaza’s infrastructure facilities. This includes the targeting of 320 schools, 1,671 industrial facilities, 183 health facilities (including 23 hospitals and 59 clinics), 239 mosques, 3 churches, and 170 media and press headquarters.

100 Days Like 100 Years

Philip Lazzarini, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Commissioner-General, stated that the past 100 days felt like 100 years for Gaza’s inhabitants due to the Israeli military aggression.

Lazzarini added in his statement, “The enormity of death, destruction, displacement, hunger, loss, and sorrow in the past 100 days stains our common humanity.”

He affirmed that this is the largest displacement of the Palestinian people since 1948, affecting over 2 million individuals, representing almost all of the entire population of Gaza.

He stated, “Many of them will suffer for life, both physically and mentally. The vast majority, including children, suffer severe trauma.”

Forced Displacement

In addition to the daily mass killing of Palestinians, observers note that the occupation forces are actively working to compel civilian residents to leave the enclave, killing all signs of life in it. According to a report by Al Jazeera, marking 100 days since the war on Gaza, this intention is evident in statements made by former and current Israeli officials regarding the necessity of evacuating the Gaza Strip population, regardless of the genocidal nature and forced displacement, both considered war crimes by international law.

The report, prepared by Salam Khader, highlighted the former Minister of National Security, General Giora Eiland’s call not to provide the Gaza population with any source that prolongs life in the enclave.

In this regard, the report mentioned that the occupation forces besieged the Nasr Children’s Hospital, forced its medical staff to evacuate, leaving critically ill children behind. Days later, decomposed bodies were found inside the hospital.

Israel targeted anything that could help the population survive, with 77% of hospitals in the sector out of service, according to UN estimates.

In addition, the bombardment targeted 104 schools, with 70% of them suffering severe damage. Israel dropped over 29,000 bombs on the sector, destroying 40% of its homes by mid-December, according to preliminary estimates.

Complete Neighborhood Disappearance

Satellite imagery shows that during the past 100 days, entire neighborhoods vanished from the face of the earth or are no longer habitable, with walls of about 33% of Gaza’s homes and streets demolished.

According to the American new agency Associated Press, satellite images showed that two-thirds of buildings in the north of the Strip were completely destroyed.

Despite this harsh toll, the resistance remains steadfast, combating the occupation. On the 99th day, they broadcasted a video documenting many of their qualitative operations from point zero against the occupation’s vehicles.

As for the displaced population, despite the pain and displacement, they express a will of resistance and rejection of Israeli displacement plans.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 101

Monday 15-January-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 101 on Monday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods and homes and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza last night and on Monday morning, killing and injuring a number of citizens.

According to local sources, five Palestinians were martyred and others were injured when the Israeli army bombed a group of citizens near the Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

11 others were also killed during Israeli attacks on different areas of Khan Yunis, including two citizens who were targeted by an Israeli warplane near Taiba School in 'Abasan Al-Kabeera area.

A number of martyrs’ bodies, including decomposed corpses, were found near and on Salahuddeen road near Al-Maghazi refugee camp and evacuated from the area.

Palestinian media sources said that 33 civilians were killed and dozens were injured during dawn Israeli attacks on homes in Gaza City.

Many citizens were also killed, including women and children, and others were injured last night when the Israeli army bombed a house belonging to the family of Haddad in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the east of Gaza City.

Gaza: Israeli army committed 12 massacres in 24hrs

Monday 15-January-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed, over the past 24 hours, 12 massacres in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of at least 132 civilians and the injury of 252 others.

In a brief statement, the health ministry said that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments, which started on October 7, climbed to 24,100 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 60,834 people.

Every day, the Israeli occupation army escalates its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

Israeli genocidal airstrikes on Gaza claim dozens of lives as Israel's aggression enters its 101st day

GAZA, Monday, January 15, 2024 (WAFA) -

Dozens of innocent civilians, including women and children, have been killed and others wounded over the past few hours as the ongoing Israeli genocide campaign on the Gaza Strip enters its 101 consecutive day, according to local and medical sources.

Medical sources said that at least 33 Palestinians, including children and women, were killed, and dozens were wounded, in an Israeli airstrike that targeted several houses in Gaza enclave.

Israeli warplanes reportedly carried out intense and fierce airstrikes targeting several areas in in Khan Younus in the south of Gaza Strip, and in Al-Buraij and Al-Maghazi camps in the central Strip.

For the fourth day in a row, the complete interruption of communications and Internet services in the Gaza Strip continues as a result of the ongoing aggression.

The communications sector suffers from constant targeting, as the extent of the destruction has reached more than 80%.

Technical crews are being directly targeted while carrying out their work, despite prior coordination through international institutions.

This is at least the seventh time that communications have been completely cut off from the Gaza Strip since the start of the aggression on October 7.

Networks and transmission towers were damaged as a result of the massive destruction caused by the aggression to the infrastructure, and the lack of fuel due to the siege. This led to frequent outages, pressure on the network, and weak transmission in various parts of the sector.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 has resulted in at least 24,000 fatalities, more than 70% of whom are women and children, and 60,317 wounded. Additionally, more than 8,000 are still missing under the rubble.

Palestinian Journalists Syndicate: Israeli occupation army continues to target Palestinian journalists with the intent to kill

RAMALLAH, Sunday, January 14, 2024 (WAFA)--

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate affirmed today that the Israeli occupation army continues to target Palestinian journalists with the intent to kill.

The ministry accused the occupation of killing journalists as part of its attempts to kill the truth of genocide committed against the Palestinian people in general, particularly in the Gaza Strip.

According to the monitoring of the syndicate’s freedoms committee on the 100th day of the aggression on the Strip and with the killing of Yazan Zuwaidi, Al-Ghad cameraman of Al-Arabi channel, the number of journalists killed by the Israeli army has so far reached 112, including 14 females, said the statement.

The syndicate pointed out that journalists in Gaza are facing high risks of being killed and are living in extremely complex and difficult conditions. Their families were also not spared, stressed the ministry, as hundreds were targeted and killed in airstrikes on the Strip.

It warned, in a statement, against the attempts of the occupation and its arms to falsify and fabricate charges against journalists with false accusations to justify murder and to challenge any future international judicial prosecution holding it accountable for these crimes.

The Syndicate stressed that it will continue to pursue politicians and officers of the occupation in all available forums to ensure that they do not escape accountability.

Illegal Israeli settlers seize caves near Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Monday, January 15, 2024 (WAFA) -

Illegal Israeli settlers seized the caves of the eastern Bedouin areas in the Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) Governorate.

The director of the Office of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority in Bethlehem, Hassan Buraijiyah, told WAFA that a group of colonists took over all the caves located in said areas, which include areas in Tuqu’, Al-Rashayda, Kaysan, Za’tara, and Bait Ta’amar, whose number is estimated at dozens, adding that the settlers began to do restoration work, placing furniture and all daily life necessities, and converting them into places to stay.

Buraijiyah added that the Israeli seizing of caves came after their owners were forced to leave them, noting that Israel aims to transform the area into a colonial tourist area.

He said that the settlers launched a campaign to encourage the settlers to come and stay overnight by posting videos on social media pages.

"This arbitrary measure means seizing vast areas of land and preventing urban expansion," Buraijiyah concluded.

Confrontations reportedly broke out in the Khillet Yaseen area in the aftermath of the military incursion and house demolition, during which forces attacked residents with live fire, shooting and moderately injuring a youth with bullet shrapnel in the thigh, which necessitated his transfer to hospital for treatment.

Sources said that the occupation forces stormed another house in the Khillet Yaseen area, where they wreaked havoc on the house, tampering with its contents.
