Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip:  

By January 13, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 30,843+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (23,843) and those who are still missing under the rubble (Corrected on December 23, 2023: 7,000+).   

By January 13, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 60,164, and more than 2,520 civilians have been abducted from Gaza Strip.

By January 4, 2023, the death toll included 9,730+ children and 6,830+ women. 

By January 13, 2024, there were 346 Palestinians who were killed, 3,609 who were injured, and 5,807, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

About 12,091 Palestinians, from both the West Bank and Gaza, have been detained in 2023. About half of them were detained after October 7. This included 1,085 children and 300 women.

The total number of detainees in the occupation prisons until the end of December was 8,800, and the number of administrative detainees was 3,291.

By January 9, 2023,  there was a complete destruction of 69,000+ housing units, and a partial destruction of 290,000+ housing units (60% of Gaza housing units). This forced about 1.5 million people to become homeless, taking refuge in crowded UN schools and ultimately sleeping in the streets.  

The Israeli refusal to allow international aid caravans to enter Gaza freely led the Palestinian population to be on the verge of mass extermination for the lack of food, water, medicine, and fuel.  

By January 9, 2024, 326 health personnel and 97 journalists were killed and hundreds were injured, 121 ambulances were destroyed while on duty, killing and injuring their crews, and destroyed 150 health institutions. As a result of the strikes and lack of fuel, 30 hospitals and 53 primary care centers are not functioning. In addition, 99 health personnel have been abducted by the invading Israeli occupation forces.

Meanwhile, 134 government offices and 95 schools and universities were completely destroyed, while 295 schools and universities were partially damaged.

138 mosques were completely destroyed, while 240 others were partially damaged, in addition to three churches.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza, which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

UN official: The humanitarian situation is catastrophic in northern Gaza

Saturday 13-January-2024, NEW YORK, (PIC)

The official responsible for UN relief operations in Gaza, Martin Griffiths, presented a bleak and tragic picture of the conditions in the Gaza Strip, saying that his colleagues saw “scenes of absolute horror” there.

Griffiths, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs, quoted the UN staff who were able to go to northern Gaza as saying that what they saw was indescribably horrific, as bodies were left on the roads, and people who showed clear signs of starvation stopped trucks searching for anything they can get to survive.

Griffiths stated that humanitarian relief facilities were subjected to Israeli targeting, which led to exposing humanitarian aid workers to serious danger, adding that his team’s efforts to send humanitarian convoys to the northern Gaza Strip were met with delay and rejection (from the Israeli side) amid impossible circumstances, while endangering the safety of relief workers.

He explained that many people no longer have homes to return to, as shelters in the Strip are housing a much larger number of people compared to its normal capacity.

Griffiths pointed out that shelter centers are overcrowded and water and food are about to run out, noting that 134 facilities belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) were bombed and 148 UN employees were killed.

He said the health system was in a state of collapse, as women could not give birth safely, children could not be vaccinated, infectious diseases were on the rise, and people were seeking shelter in hospital courtyards.

Griffiths expressed his dissatisfaction with the evacuation orders issued by the Israeli army, stressing that airstrikes were concentrated in the places where civilians were asked to head to, adding that there is no safe place in Gaza and a decent human life has become almost impossible.

For her part, Ilse Brands-Keres, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations for Human Rights, said that the mass forced displacement began on October 12, after the Israeli administration issued an order to evacuate the northern part of Gaza.

Keres stressed the need not to prevent the return of Palestinians who were forcibly expelled from Gaza, noting that a strong guarantee must be provided to enable these people to return to their homes.

Since October 7, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, leaving more than 90,000 martyrs, missing and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.

Palestine's UN Ambassador appeals for ceasefire in Gaza, end to forced displacement

NEW YORK, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

Riyadh Mansour, the Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, has called upon the UN Security Council and the international community to take immediate measures to secure a ceasefire in Gaza, stressing the urgent need to provide humanitarian assistance and halt the ongoing forced displacement of Palestinians.

In letters addressed to the UN Secretary-General, the President of the Security Council for the current month (France), and the President of the UN General Assembly, Mansour highlighted Israel's continued aggressive attacks against Palestinian civilians living under its occupation, spanning almost 100 days.

Mansour expressed his concern, stating, "Despite the toll reaching approximately 100,000 casualties, there is still no ceasefire, leading to the daily loss of more innocent lives." He underscored the devastating impact of Israel's war, resulting in the deaths of 23,708 civilians, including children, women, and men. Over 60,000 others have been injured, with more than 7,000 individuals still missing under the rubble.

The representative emphasized that Israel's crimes are not confined to Gaza, citing over 332 casualties and 4,157 injuries in attacks launched by Israeli occupation forces and terrorist settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since the beginning of the aggression.

Mansour stated the stark reality that all Palestinian civilians have fallen victim to Israel's genocidal aggression, characterized by continuous attempts at forced displacement and ethnic cleansing, including what is misleadingly termed "voluntary migration."

He pointed out the suffering of all citizens, facing hunger and thirst due to Israel's obstruction of humanitarian aid. The rapid spread of diseases among them is worsening, with Mansour stressing that this unprecedented aggression has no modern precedent in terms of its scale and speed in killing and maiming civilians, especially children, UN personnel, medical professionals, and journalists.

Calling on all countries to act in both word and deed, Mansour urged support for international law, including humanitarian and human rights law, to put an end to the Gaza crisis.

He appealed to all nations to take immediate steps, including urgent and sincere efforts to implement recent UN resolutions addressing the Gaza crisis. The goal is to ensure an immediate ceasefire for humanitarian reasons, protect civilian populations, expedite humanitarian aid delivery to Palestinian civilians in Gaza, and prevent further escalation in an already catastrophic situation.

ActionAid: Conditions in Rafah at breaking point, with over one million displaced people

GAZA, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

Conditions in Rafah are at breaking point with more than one million people crammed into an extremely overcrowded area and more arriving by the day, ActionAid human rights group has warned.

With shelters completely over capacity, hundreds of thousands of people are sleeping out in the open without adequate clothing and shelter against the cold and rain, or sharing a tent with up to 20 other people.

The group said each day in the densely crowded city is a struggle to find food and water, with the entire population of Gaza now facing crisis levels of hunger and the risk of famine increasing by the day.

Abed, who is part of a youth group which partners with ActionAid Palestine, spoke about the catastrophic humanitarian conditions people are facing in Rafah. He said: “We are living in a situation that we cannot call humane. There is no health, no food, and there are no basic necessities of life.’

“There are [not enough] tents that can take all the people who came from the centre of Gaza. They are sleeping in the open. In order to buy a tent, you must have 3,000 shekels [£635]. If you want to buy anything, like food in the morning, noon, or night, it must be one meal. You collect it in the middle of the day, this meal costs at least 50 shekels [£10.58]."

“As for the health situation, whoever is injured must stay at home because there is no place to receive [them] at all. There is no electricity. We use solar energy or solar cells to charge on normal days... You must wait three days to get an electric charge. There are queues. Queues for sweet water, queues for salt water, queues for food, and queues for drink, everything has a queue.”

Illness and disease is spreading rapidly. In a single week in December, UNICEF reported an average of 3,200 new cases of diarrhoea each day among children under five – when before October 7, it would typically record a total of 2,000 cases in this age group each month. Maintaining hygiene levels is near impossible due to a lack of safe water and sanitation, with hundreds of people having to share a single toilet or shower.

The picture is similar elsewhere in the south and middle areas of Gaza, where airstrikes have intensified in recent days. More than 85% of the population – some 1.9million people – have been displaced from their homes, many multiple times, and face a daily struggle to meet their basic needs.

Layla has been displaced from her home and is now staying in a tent with her children and extended family in a camp in southern Gaza which she says is home to 100,000 people. She said: “We live in tents. There are none of the necessities [needed] for the life that we live, and we face the suffering of finding water and food and [being] hungry.

“We were flooded during the nights that rained on us. Our children are without any means to be able to warm them. There are no covers, nothing. Our mother is an asthma patient, and she is also injured, from a traffic accident during the war. My sister is also about to give birth. We do not have blankets or things to keep her warm or to warm our children with.”

Adara has been displaced from her home in the north and is currently living in a tent with her four children – the youngest of whom is a year and a half – in Khan Younus, while her husband remains in the north.

She said: “Thank God we found a so-called ‘shelter’, but frankly, for me, my children, and my family, it is not a shelter. Here I suffer from the cold because my children and I cannot find enough blankets. We suffer a lot whenever we want to go to the bathroom. We stand in line for a long time and the bathrooms are far away. We suffered from gastroenteritis more than once. My children all caught it in a row and recovered again...I do not have shelter, nor do I have an income or money to spend or buy anything with."

Palestinian Foreign Ministry to Germany: Shielding Israel from accountability exacerbates misery of Palestinian people, perpetuates crime

RAMALLAH, Saturday, 13 January, 2024 (WAFA) -

 The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today expressed deep dismay at Germany’s decision to speak on behalf of Israel at the proceedings of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which is considering Israel’s war of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in case brought before it by South Africa.

“We are deeply dismayed by the position of the German government regarding the case brought by South Africa before the ICJ as expressed in a statement issued today by the government’s spokesperson,” said the Foreign Ministry in a statement. “This position reminds us of a similar past approach to cases relating to Palestine brought before international courts, such as Germany’s position regarding the ICJ’s advisory opinion on Israel’s separation wall in 2004, or its position regarding the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) jurisdiction over the State of Palestine in 2021.

In both cases, the German position proved to be wrong given the final determinations of the said judicial bodies,” it added. “Germany’s position regarding the current case also contradicts its stated commitment in support of cases relating to genocide brought before the ICJ, including a position as recent as November 2023,” it said, adding, “It is equally surprising that in justifying this untenable position, the statement cites the commitment to ‘never again’. One would assume that a commitment to ‘never again’ would prompt heightened sensitivity toward human rights violations and decisive action against massive crimes.

Germany’s position regarding the current case is self-contradictory.” The Foreign Ministry said, “An earlier version of the statement confused the ICC with the ICJ. Perhaps this conflation reflected more than a spelling error. Rather, it revealed an unyielding German readiness to shield Israel from any form of international accountability, irrespective of the court, the substance of the case, or the scope of the misery it inflicts. It is deeply regrettable. We urge the German government to reconsider. “To debate the genocide case brought before the ICJ is one thing. But to insist after the murder of 22,000 innocent civilians including over 12,000 children that such massive crimes are ‘self-defense’ can only be construed as an attempt to acquit the perpetrator and entrench impunity.”

Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

On January 13, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on Gaza Strip resulted in 12 massacres, in which  135 Palestinian civilians were killed, and 312 were injured, in the past 24 hours. Gaza City, northern areas suffer from starvation

The Government Media Office has said that the Gaza City and northern Gaza need 1,300 trucks laden with food supplies per day to overcome hunger.

In a statement on Saturday, the Media Office accused the Israeli occupation army of deliberately killing civilians as they try to obtain food and accelerating its efforts to create real famine in Gaza, especially in Gaza City and northern Gaza.

The Media Office explained that the Israeli army deliberately prevents the access of food supplies to northern Gaza and Gaza City and opens fire at aid trucks as they try to reach those areas.

“[The Israeli army] killed over 14 civilians who were looking for something to eat, destroyed all the drinking water pipelines and wells, and completely disrupted all aspects of life [in those two areas],” the Media Office added.

The Media Office warned that about 800,000 citizens in Gaza City and northern Gaza are likely to die of hunger and thirst as a result of the deliberate starvation policy pursued by the Israeli army against them.

“This exposed policy confirms that the occupation government has a premeditated intent to carry out a genocidal war and displace the population from their homes,” the Media Office said.

Gaza: Israeli army committed 12 massacres in 24hrs

One of every 20 citizens is martyred, wounded or missing as the Gaza Strip has neared 100 days of Israel’s genocidal war, according to the health ministry in the ravaged and besieged coastal territory.

Spokesman for the health ministry Ashraf al-Qudra said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army committed, over the past 24 hours, 12 massacres in Gaza, which resulted in the martyrdom of at least 135 civilians and the injury of 312 others.

In a brief statement, spokesman al-Qudra added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardment, which started on October 7, climbed to 23,843 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 60,317 people.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 99

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 99 on Saturday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods and homes and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza last night and on Saturday morning, killing and injuring a number of citizens.

According to local sources, four civilians were martyred and 20 others are still buried under the rubble after the Israeli army bombed a house in al-Nafak street in Gaza City.

Citizens also reported casualties following an Israeli drone attack on Al-'Hashasheen area, west of Rafa'h.

The Israeli army also bombed and destroyed many homes in Ma'an area in the east of Khan Younus. There is no information about casualties.

One citizen was reportedly killed after the Israeli army bombed Abu Ta’imah area in 'Abasan Al-Kabeera, east of Khan Younus.

Later, medical sources said that a number of martyrs were evacuated from Abasan Al-Kabeera following an Israeli aerial attack.

Several citizens were also killed and others were injured when a warplane bombed two cars on the Khan Younus-Rafa'h road.

In northern Gaza, Israeli warplanes bombed a group of citizens in 'Abbas Kilani area in Bait Lahiya, killing three and injuring others.

Over 20 civilians were also massacred and many others were wounded following an Israeli attack on a house in Al-Daraj area in central Gaza.

On Friday, medical sources said that 15 martyrs, including five women and one child, and 51 wounded civilians, including 14 women and two children, were transported to the Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus after the Israeli army bombed homes.

Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial and artillery attacks.

More civilian casualties reported in Gaza as Israel's war of genocide nears 99 days

Dozens of innocent civilians were killed and others were injured today as a result of continuous Israeli aerial and artillery attacks across the Gaza Strip, as the ongoing Israeli war of genocide completes 98 days in a row.

In Khan Younus, south of the enclave, medical sources reported that at least 20 civilians were killed over the past few hours due to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling in the province.

Meanwhile, witnesses and local sources reported that Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting homes in the Ma'an area east of Khan Younus in southern Gaza.

In the north of the territory, medical sources stated that four civilians lost their lives in an Israeli bombardment that targeted the Qasim family home on Al-Nafaq Street in Gaza City, with approximately 20 individuals still missing.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 last year has claimed more than 23,700. The number of injured has also exceeded 60,000, with thousands still unaccounted for, marking a devastating human toll in the besieged enclave.

Dozens of civilian casualties in Gaza as Israel's genocide marks 99 days

GAZA, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) - 

Dozens of innocent civilians, including women and children, have been killed and others wounded over the past few hours as the ongoing Israeli genocide campaign on the Gaza Strip enters its 99 consecutive day, according to local and medical sources.

In Gaza City, civil defense crews managed to recover the bodies of 20 Palestinians who were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in the Daraj neighborhood.

Meanwhile, a number of wounded individuals were transferred to Nasir Hospital, following intense and fierce Israeli bombardment in the center and south of Khan Younus.

Israeli military air force launched a fire belt on Qeezan Al-Najjar and Al-Batn Al-Samin in the southeastern areas of the city of Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli fighter jets further shelled several homes in the Al-Da'wa neighborhood, north of Nusayrat, in the middle of the Gaza Strip, resulting in killing dozens and wounding others, and there are still missing people under the rubble.

The occupation artillery also bombed east Dair El-Bala'h, Nusayrat, and Al-Maghazi refugee camps and near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the center of the Strip.

For the second day, communications and internet services were completely cut off as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the enclave.

Technical crews were being directly targeted by Israeli airstrike while carrying out their work, despite prior coordination with international institutions.

This is the seventh time that communications and internet services have been completely cut off since the start of the aggression on October 7.

Networks and transmission towers were damaged as a result of the massive destruction caused by the aggression to the infrastructure, and the lack of fuel due to the siege, which led to frequent outages.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society also announced a complete loss of communication with its crews working in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli occupation cutting off communications and internet services, which increases the challenges facing its crews in providing their ambulance services and reaching the wounded.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 has resulted in at least 23,700 fatalities, more than 70% of whom are women and children, and 60,000 wounded. Additionally, thousands of individuals are still missing under the rubble​.

IOF Kills young man, injures two others north of Tulkarm

Saturday 13-January-2024, TULKARM, (PIC)

A Palestinian young man was killed and two others were injured, on Friday evening in clashes that erupted between Palestinian young men and Israeli occupation forces (IOF) who invaded the town of Zaita, northeast of Tulkarm city in northern West Bank, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that Palestinian university student, Khalid A'hmed Zubaidi, 19, had succumbed to wounds he sustained at the hands of IOF.

Director of the Thabit Thabit hospital in Tulkarm, Dr. Amin Khadir, said that Zubaidi was hit with a bullet in his waist and was severely beaten by the IOF soldiers, adding that he died of severe internal bleeding as a result of the live bullet and beating.

The IOF soldiers fired live bullets and tear gas canisters, wounding two young men in their lower limbs with live bullets.

Local sources reported that the IOF prevented ambulance crews from reaching the injured young men, adding that they managed to transfer them to hospital only after the withdrawal of the occupation forces.

Three Palestinians wounded in an Israeli military raid of 'Arraba

Jineen, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

A young Palestinian man sustained gunshot wounds, while two others were injured after being subjected to physical assault, during an Israeli military incursion this evening into the town of 'Arraba, in the northern West Bank province of Jenin, according to local sources.

The sources reported that Israeli forces stormed 'Arraba, opening fire on a vehicle carrying a young man and before they subsequently assaulted him, beating him up. Shortly following the assault, Israeli soldiers prevented an ambulance from approaching the injured until the attack concluded.

During the incursion, confrontations erupted in the town, during which Israeli forces used live ammunition, resulting in one young man being shot with live bullets.

Another individual was injured after being physically assaulted by the Israeli army, and was subsequently arrested by the army. The young man was identified as Ali Nasser Abdul Aziz (18 years old).

Seven Palestinians wounded amid Israel's ongoing raid of Al-Fari'a

TUBAS, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

Seven young Palestinians sustained injuries today during the continuing Israeli incursion into the Al-Fari'a refugee camp, located in the northern West Bank province of Tubas, according to medical sources. The incursion has been going on for more than six hours.

Four young men were injured, including two with live ammunition in the hand. Additionally, a third sustained injuries from live ammunition shrapnel in the hand, while another was shot in the shoulder with live ammunition. Two others were injured, one in the foot and the other in the hand, by live ammunition, and the seventh suffered a sprained ankle as a result of a fall.

Medical and ambulance teams were hindered by Israeli soldiers while trying to save lives during the raid, the sources said. In addition, an Israeli army vehicle rammed into an ambulance, causing partial damage to it. Another ambulance was stopped and searched by army during the incursion, according to the sources.

The incursion involved the deployment of Israeli infantry and snipers, who mounted several buildings inside the camp and in its vicinity. Explosions and gunfire were reported during the ongoing Israeli raid. Meanwhile, an Israeli military bulldozer caused destruction and damages to some commercial stores in the camp.

WAFA correspondent noted that the Israeli forces stormed the camp from the direction of the military checkpoint at 'Hamra, as additional military reinforcements were on their way to the camp. Intensive surveillance flights by Israeli reconnaissance drones were also reported.

Kamal Bani Odah, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) in Tubas, stated that the Israeli occupation forces raided several homes inside the camp, causing destruction to their contents and detaining a number of young men after taking them from their homes.

Two Palestinians injured by shrapnel following a raid of Tubas area

TUBAS, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Two Palestinians today were shot and injured with shrapnel in the hand following an Israeli military raid of Al-Fari’a refugee camp, located to the south of Tubas town in the occupied West Bank.

Medical sources siad ambulance crews dealt with two injuries in the field, one of them with shrapnel by live bullets in the hand, and another one sustained a sprained ankle resulting from a fall during the Israeli raid.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation soldiers obstructed the work of medical teams, stopping and searching another ambulance.

Forces reportedly raided the camp from the direction of Al-Hamra military checkpoint, and deployed their forces heavily in the vicinity of the camp. Reconnaissance aircraft have been hovering over the camp since the early morning hours.  

During the raid, snipers were deployed on the rooftops of several buildings and shops, while sounds of explosions and live gunfire were heard from inside the camp.

Large-scale Israeli occupation forces raid Al-Fari’a camp in Tubas

Israeli occupation forces today raided Al-Fari’a refugee camp, located to the south of Tubas in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

The sources said that Israeli forces raided the camp from the direction of Al-'Hamra military checkpoint, and deployed their forces heavily in the vicinity  of the camp.

They added that reconnaissance aircraft have been hovering over the camp since the early morning hours.

Palestinian prisoner completes 20 years in Israeli jails

JENIN, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Sameer Abu Diak, a political prisoner serving a life imprisonment in Israeli jails, completed today 20 years behind occupation bars.  

Abu Diak, who comes from the town of Silat Al-Dthahr, south of Jenin, was arrested on January 13, 2005, and was sentenced to life imprisonment, according to the director of the Prisoner's Club in Jenin, Montaser Sammour.

He added that Abu Diak is the brother of the slain Palestinian Sami Abu Diak, who died on November 26, 2019 behind occupation jails as a result of deliberate medical negligence.

Occupation forcers detain three Palestinians, seize several vehicles across Al-Khaleel (Hebron) area

HEBRON, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) – 

At least three Palestinians today were detained in an Israeli military raid of the towns of Idhna and Surif, both located to the west of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, searching homes and seizing around 30 vehicles.

Israeli occupation army raided the homes of three slain Palestinians--Isma'eel, Mu'hammad and A'hmed Abu Juhaisha--during the raid, according to local sources.

The three Palestinians were shot dead yesterday by the Israeli occupation forces, allegedly after they had sneaked into the colonial Israeli settlement of Adora, illegally built on Palestinian lands in the vicinity of the two towns.

Forces reportedly detained the father of Ismail, one of the three martyrs, and destroyed his vehicle. They also severely beat up and assaulted the families of the three slain Palestinians and seized their vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupying army detained two other Palestinians and broke into and thoroughly searched several houses during the raids.

Forces also seized around 30 vehicles during their military offensive against the said towns

Israeli forces detain six Palestinians, including a child, following a raid of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Bait La'hm, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Israeli occupation forces today detained six Palestinians, including a child, in a military raid in the occupied West Bank city of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), according to local and security sources.

The Israeli occupation army detained 17-year-old A'hmed Soman, in addition to four siblings after raiding and inspecting their families' houses.

The Israeli occupation forces reportedly seized a motorcycle belonging to a local citizen after breaking into and thoroughly searching his house during the raid.

In a related context, Israeli army forces also raided and searched the homes of four prisoners.

Occupation forces attack mourning house for three slain Palestinians in Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

HEBRON, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

A number of Palestinian civilians suffered from suffocation this evening after Israeli occupation forces stormed a mourning house in the town of Idhna, in the southern West Bank province of Hebron, held for three Palestinians shot dead by its forces yesterday.

Isma'eel, Mu'hammed, and Adil Abu Juhaisha were shot dead by Israeli occupation forces on Friday evening, allegedly after they entered the colonial Israeli settlement of Adora, illegally built on stolen Palestinian lands in the vicinity of the town.

WAFA correspondent said Israeli occupation forces raided the mourning house held for the three slain young men in the town, firing live and rubber-coated metal bullets, sound grenades, and tear gas, resulting in many people suffering from teargas inhalation and subsequent suffocation.

The forces also broke chairs, dispersed those present, and informed the slain young men's families that they were prohibited from holding a mourning gathering or raising flags and banners.

The Israeli occupation forces also detained some worshipers at the nearby Noor Mosque before releasing them later.

Occupying Israeli army storms Jineen, embarks on infrastructure destruction

Jineen, Saturday, January 13, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jineen in the northern occupied West Bank tonight, provoking confrontations with local residents as army embarked on destroying the west entrance to the city using a D9 bulldozer.

Palestinian security sources reported that a convoy of Israeli military vehicles, including armored personnel carriers and bulldozers, stormed the city from its northern and western main entrances.  

The forces reportedly stormed multiple neighborhoods of the city, leading to intense confrontations at many locations, including the outskirts of the adjacent Jenin refugee camp and the vicinity of Jineen Governmental Hospital, where an ambulance was stopped and thoroughly searched by the Israeli forces.

The incursion also extended to the Al-Amal Hospital. Additionally, the Israeli troops deployed a D9 bulldozer to excavate Haifa Street on the western entrance of the city, with significant reinforcements backing the offensive.

The city has been subject to almost daily military raids over the past few months, with the occupying Israeli army storming the city and its refugee camp and often resulting in confrontations and ensuing casualties among the local civilian population.
