While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

The Movement called on all concerned parties and United Nations agencies to take urgent action to deliver emergency food supplies to the besieged enclave.

It added that the international community and the UN should shoulder their responsibilities and take all necessary measures to stop the genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

(Updated) GMO holds Israeli gov’t, US responsible for Gaza City massacre

Thursday 29-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (GMO) has held the Israeli occupation regime, the US administration and the international community responsible for the horrific massacre the Israeli army committed against hundreds of civilians in the west of Gaza City on Thursday morning.

In an (updated) statement, GMO said that the Israeli army “killed over 112 citizens and injured over 660 others who were looking for food aid in a horrific massacre in the west of Gaza City.”

GMO added that those victims went to obtain food and aid after they and over 700,000 people had been starved for 146 days.

The Media Office accused the Israeli occupation army of having a premeditated intent to commit such a massacre in the area, and also held US president Joe Biden, his administration and the international community fully responsible for the appalling massacres and the war of extermination and starvation that are carried out on a daily basis by Israel in Gaza.

In (an updated announcement): In a new Israeli massacre, 112 civilians killed while waiting for food trucks at Al-Rasheed street, in Gaza City

GAZA, Thursday, February 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

In (an updated announcement), a new massacre committed by the Israeli occupation tanks and artillery strikes, at least 112 civilians were killed and 660 were injured  today while waiting for food aid in Al-Rashid Street southwest of Gaza City.

Medical sources said that occupation forces opened heavy machine-gun fire towards thousands of citizens from the northern Gaza Strip, specifically from Gaza City,

Jabalya and Bait 'Hanoun, who were waiting for the arrival of trucks loaded with humanitarian aid in Al-Rashid Street southwest of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of over 104 persons.

Scores of wounded individuals were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, noting that these numbers exceed the capacity of the medical staff.

In the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, occupation aircraft bombed entire residential squares above the heads of their residents, resulting in in the killing of dozens of civilians and causing multiple causalities.

Ambulances and civil defense vehicles were unable to reach the targeted areas due to the intensity of the ongoing Israeli shelling.

The Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to continuous Israeli aggression since October 7, is living in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, amounting to famine.

According to the World Food Programme, its teams reported that citizens were suffering from “unprecedented levels of despair,” while the United Nations warned that 2.2 million people were on the brink of famine.

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said that the citizens of Gaza are suffering from unprecedented levels of acute food insecurity and hunger, and that conditions in Gaza resemble famine.

It explained that all of Gaza's approximately 2.2 million citizens belong to one of three levels of hunger, which range from emergency to crisis to disaster. These are conditions that FAO has not witnessed before in any country around the world,

FAO added that what raises concern is that more of people in Gaza are moving into famine, and at least 25% of the Strip's population has reached the highest levels of hunger classification.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) warned that alarming food shortages and increasing malnutrition and diseases could lead to an "explosion" in the number of children deaths in Gaza.

One in six children under the age of two in Gaza suffers from acute malnutrition, according to UNICEF estimates published on February 19.

The occupation authorities continue to obstruct the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, especially to the northern regions, while the aid that reaches the south of the Strip is not sufficient for the needs of citizens, especially in Rafa'h, which is considered the last refuge for the displaced persons.

Over 112 dead, 660 injured in Israeli massacre west of Gaza

Thursday 29-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army massacred at dawn Thursday dozens of Palestinian civilians and wounded hundreds more after bombing and shooting them during their presence on the destroyed coastal highway in the west of Gaza City.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that thousands of citizens gathered on Al-Rasheed road in western Gaza at dawn waiting for trucks carrying food aid, but upon the arrival of the trucks, Israeli tanks showered them with projectiles and bullets, killing and injuring hundreds of them.

According to medical sources, the initial toll of the massacre was over 112 martyrs and 660 wounded people, many seriously.

Eyewitnesses, who survived the horrific massacre, said that Israeli tanks directly targeted them with shells and bullets when they gathered around the trucks that brought aid and flour sacks.

They added that many others were shot at and bombed as they started carrying flour sacks.

Hundreds were evacuated to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, whose medical crew are facing difficulties in providing assistance for the large numbers of casualties.

In a related context, the Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza called for intensifying airdrops of aid into the northern areas of Gaza.

GMO head Isma'eel Al-Thawabta said that dozens of civilians were martyred when the Israeli army attacked them as they gathered to receive aid.

Thawabta affirmed that there are a lot of aid-laden trucks stranded on the Egyptian side of the Rafa'h border area.

He urged the Egyptian authorities to open the crossing in order to allow in those trucks and transfer 11,000 wounded civilians and 10,000 cancer patients to hospitals abroad, adding that those injured and sick citizens are in serious condition and need urgent medical treatment.

“Every day we lose a number of wounded and sick people due to the absence of medical services and fuel,” he pointed out.

Palestinian father dies of injuries sustained months ago in Toulkarm

Thursday 29-February-2024, TOULKARM, (PIC)

A Palestinian citizen was pronounced dead on Thursday morning after he succumbed to bullet injuries he sustained about five months ago when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked Nour Shams refugee camp in Toulkarm.

Palestinian cancer patient prisoner dies in Israeli prison

Thursday 29-February-2024, RAMALLAH, (PIC)

Palestinian Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs commission announced the martyrdom of the cancer patient prisoner 'Aasif Al-Rifa-i, 22, inside Israeli prisons.

The Commission and the and Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said that martyr Rifa-i, from the town of Kafr 'Ain in Ramallah, has been detained since September 24, 2022, and was martyred after being transferred from the Ramla Prison Clinic to the Israeli 'Assaf Harofeh Hospital.

With the martyrdom of Al-Rifa-i, the number of the Palestinian prisoners who have died in Israeli occupation regime prisons since October 7 has risen to 11 martyrs, the last case was the martyrdom of the crippled prisoner Izzuddeen Al-Banna from Gaza.

The two human rights groups confirmed that the escalation in the number of martyrs who died in Israeli jails after October 7, as a result of torture, systematic retaliatory measures, and medical crimes, constitutes a clear decision to kill Palestinian prisoners within the framework of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the all-out war on the Palestinian people.

The two organizations launched repeated calls demanding the international institutions to stop the Israeli systematic criminal policy of enforced disappearance which is aimed at carrying out more crimes against Gaza detainees with no surveillance in addition to setting new laws particularly for Gaza detainees.
