While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Infants in northern Gaza at dangerous stage due to drought and malnutrition

Wednesday 28-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday evening that a number of infants suffering from serious conditions due to drought and malnutrition have been admitted to Kamal 'Idwan Hospital in northern Gaza Strip.

The statement from the Ministry of Health comes amidst a severe and suffocating isolation imposed by the Israeli occupation army on the Gaza Strip and the northern regions, where all means of life and its necessities are denied to nearly 700,000 Palestinians who have chosen to remain in their homes and refuse the threats and orders to evacuate southward.

In previous statements by the director of Kamal 'Idwan Hospital, 'Husam Abu Safiya, it was confirmed that a number of children in the northern area of the Strip have died due to malnutrition and food shortages, as well as the spread of diseases resulting from the continuous Israeli aggression and blockade.

Abu Safiya explained that most of the cases arriving at the hospital recently suffer from severe dehydration due to malnutrition, in addition to the spread of infections in the gastrointestinal tract and intestinal diseases.

He warned that newborns are arriving at the hospital in critical conditions, showing signs of weakness and pallor due to maternal malnutrition.

According to data from the official media office in the Gaza Strip, 8 deaths have been recorded in the northern region as a result of famine and malnutrition.

One out of every 10 children under the age of five in Gaza suffers from severe malnutrition, according to preliminary data from the United Nations, as indicated by arm circumference measurements that reflect the levels of emaciation in children.

The charitable organization “Action Aid” mentioned that some people resort to eating grass, adding that everyone in Gaza is now suffering from hunger, and people only receive 1.5 or 2 liters of non-potable water per day to meet all their needs.”

According to local and international human rights organizations, Israel uses hunger as a weapon, as a form of collective punishment against the residents of northern Gaza Strip.

UN: The Israeli occupation army systematically blocks access to people in need in Gaza

Wednesday 28-February-2024, GENEVA, (PIC)

The UN has accused Israeli occupation forces of “systematically” blocking access to people in need in Gaza, complicating the task of delivering aid in what has become a lawless war zone.

It has become nearly impossible to carry out medical evacuations and aid deliveries in northern Gaza and increasingly difficult in the south, Jens Laerke, the spokesperson for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), told journalists on Tuesday.

All planned aid convoys into the north have been denied by Israeli authorities in recent weeks, with the last allowed in on January 23, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Making matters worse, even convoys cleared in advance with Israeli authorities have repeatedly been blocked or come under fire, according to Laerke.

Laerke pointed to an incident last Sunday when a convoy, jointly organized by the WHO and the Palestinian Red Crescent, to evacuate patients from the besieged Al-Amal hospital in the southern city of Khan Younus, was blocked for hours and paramedics detained.

Laerke said that the medical convoy was transporting 24 patients, including one pregnant woman and one mother and newborn, from Al Amal Hospital in Khan Younus.

“Despite prior coordination for all staff members and vehicles with the Israeli side, the Israeli forces blocked the WHO-led convoy for many hours the moment it left the hospital,” Laerke said. “We were forced to leave 31 noncritical patients” in the hospital.

“The Israeli military forced patients and staff out of ambulances and stripped all paramedics of their clothes,” he said, noting that three Red Crescent paramedics were detained while the rest of the convoy stayed in place for more than seven hours.

He added that one paramedic has since been released.

“We appeal for the immediate release of the other two and all other detained health workers,” Laerke said.

“We have not had any information or any communication from Israeli authorities as to why this clearly notified movement — which they, by the way, acknowledged that we had sent them notification — was still detained for seven hours,” he said.

Laerke said Israeli authorities also have not explained why “health workers were taken out, forced to undress, and three held back — two of them still not released.”

“The 24 evacuated patients were transported from Al-Amal to a hospital in Rafa'h, where they could receive treatment,” Laerke said. “And several, if not all of them, required some kind of surgical intervention, which of course could not happen at Al-Amal Hospital.”

“Al Amal Hospital has been at the epicenter of [Israeli] military operations in Khan Younus for more than a month,” Laerke pointed out.

He also noted that Sunday was not an isolated incident. He said eight convoys have come under fire and were systematically denied access to people in need.

“Humanitarian workers have been harassed, intimidated or detained by Israeli occupation forces, and humanitarian infrastructure has been hit,” he said.

“Just prior to Sunday’s incident, two family members of Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) were killed in an unprompted attack by Israeli occupation forces against a de-conflicted compound where their staff and family members slept,” the OCHA spokesman said.

WHO affirms that 40 Israeli attacks on Al-Amal Hospital from January 22 to February 22 killed at least 25 people and left the facility incapacitated.

Currently, 215 people remain in the hospital, including the 31 patients left behind, health workers, paramedics, ambulance drivers, eight physicians and 10 nurses, according to WHO.

Gaza Municipality: The Israeli genocidal war on Gaza destroyed the communication and computer control system

Tuesday 27-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Gaza Municipality said the Israeli ongoing aggression since October 7 has destroyed the Gaza municipality’s communication and computer control systems by direct and deliberate targeting of the main municipality headquarters and other affiliated facilities.

The municipality explained, in a statement on Monday, that six facilities of communication and computer control systems were bombed, causing grave damage to the Municipality’s operative system in an attempt to spread chaos in Gaza’s civil information system.

The statement called on international organizations to expedite the municipality reconstruction process so that it can resume providing civil services to the stranded citizens in the beleaguered Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, Israeli occupation forces have been waging a devastating war on the blockaded Gaza Strip, leaving 29,954 martyrs and 70,325 wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to thousands missing under the rubble.

The Israeli genocidal war against the Gaza Strip has also caused massive destruction and an unprecedented catastrophic humanitarian crisis, amid escalating famine due to scarce supplies of food, water and medicine, in addition to the enforced displacement of about two million Palestinians, more than 85% of the Gaza Strip’s population, according to the United Nations.

Al-'Awda Hospital suspends its medical services due to fuel and medical shortage

GAZA, Wednesday, February 28, 2024 (WAFA) –

Al-'Awda Hospital in the city of Jabalya, north of the Gaza Strip, today announced the complete suspension of all its medical services due to severe shortage of fuel and medical supplies.

Earlier yesterday, Al-'Awda Hospital warned that its medical services provided for the sick and wounded individuals inside the Hospital would stop due to the lack of medical supplies, medicines and fuel in light of strict military siege imposed by the Israeli forces on areas in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Director of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department in Al-'Awda, Doctor Mu'hammed Salha, said in a press statement, “The complete cessation of services at Al-'Awda Hospital will lead to a complete deprivation of basic health services for citizens, especially in light of the cessation of service by all hospitals in the north.”

He added, "The hospital's cessation of operation will exacerbate the complex health crisis due to the ongoing Israeli aggression and siege since October 7."

The doctor urgently appealed to all international, humanitarian and human rights organizations to put pressure on the occupation to supply the hospital with medicines, consumables, medical supplies and fuel.”

The occupation forces besieged Al-'Awda Hospital for 18 days, causing severe damage to the upper floors of the building, in addition to destroying a number of ambulance vehicles.

Since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, Israel has put 31 hospitals out of service due to the intense missiles strikes. Israeli forces also partially targeted 152 health institutions.

The number of civilians killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7 has risen to 29,878, mostly women and children. At least 70,215 others were injured.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 29,954 martyrs, on Day 145 of the US-Backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip

The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation army committed eight massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 76 civilians and injuring over 110 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli genocidal bombardments, which started on October 7, climbed to 29,954 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 70,325 people.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

JENIN, Wednesday, February 28, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Wednesday dawn broke into the city of Jenin and the outskirts of its camp, and launched a detention campaign amid widespread destruction of infrastructure.

Local sources said that a large Israeli force, accompanied by military vehicles and bulldozers, raided the city and its camp. Foot patrols were deployed in all its streets and alleys, provoking residents and leading to confrontations.

However, no injuries were reported though.

Earlier today, a Palestinian man was moderately injured in an Israeli drone raid near Diwan Al-Sa'di, and he was later rushed to a nearby hospital in Jenin for medical treatment.

Illegal Israeli settlers today attacked Palestinian-owned vehicles in the villages of 'Aseera Al-Qibliya and 'Oureef, south of Nablus.

Local sources said that a security guard from the illegal Israeli settlement of Yitzhar set up a flying checkpoint between the villages of 'Aseera Al-Qibliya and 'Oureef and  proceeded to open heavy gun fire towards civilians' vehicles,  jeopardizing their safety and forcing them to take long rough roads to reach their destinations.

However, no injuries or damage were reported following the attack incident.

The Palestinian villages in the province of Nablus have been witnessing a surge in colonists' attacks and violence.
