While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza, which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Israeli statement about disagreements within 'Hamas is a psychological warfare

Monday 19-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

An official source of 'Hamas Movement has said that Israeli attempts to fabricate information about the Movement’s leadership, especially the 'Hamas Chief in Gaza, Ya'hya Al-Sinwar, are “ridiculous and aimed at raising the collapsed morale of its army.”

The source confirmed that Israeli war ministry Yoav Gallant’s statements about “disagreements within the 'Hamas leadership and that 'Hamas is looking for a successor for Al-Sinwar are nonsense and an exposed psychological warfare. “

The official 'Hamas source opined that the Israeli failure to reach the resistance leaders drives it to claim fictitious achievements.

Since October 7, Israeli occupation forces have been waging a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 110,000 martyrs, wounded and missing people, as well as massive destruction of homes and enforced displacement of 2 million Palestinians.

'Hamas: Israeli refusal to recognize a Palestinian state is a challenge to the international community

Sunday 18-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said on Sunday that “the Zionist terrorist government’s decision to “outright reject” any attempts by foreign powers to create a Palestinian state constitutes a challenge to the international community and confirms the Israeli total disregard to the international laws and resolutions.

Given the Israeli manipulation and illegal settlement construction, the Movement called on the international community “to break this Israeli arrogance, to support our people’s struggle and resistance, and to immediately recognize all of their rights.”

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government unanimously approved a measure declaring that his government “outright rejects” any attempts by foreign powers to recognize a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu announced the move at the start of a cabinet meeting Sunday morning. It comes as various forces at the UN and even President Biden’s administration have pushed Israel to accept a two-state solution after the war against Hamas in Gaza.

Hamas welcomes African Union call for Gaza ceasefire after summit

Sunday 18-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has welcomed the statement issued by the 37th African Union Summit held in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa.

The Movement said the statement called “for an end to the aggression against our people, the policy of collective punishment, the crime of genocide, the lifting of the siege, and compliance with the decisions of the International Court of Justice regarding the Gaza Strip”.

“We hope it will translate into practical steps from all friendly African countries, in a way that contributes to stopping the aggression and war of extermination against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip,” Hamas said in a statement.

It added, “We also call for severing all ties with the criminal Zionist entity, and supporting the struggle of our Palestinian people until they achieve their legitimate national rights, most notably the establishment of the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

The final statement of the 37th Summit of the African Union (AU) condemned the “brutal” Israel war and the use of excessive force against 2.2 million unarmed civilians.

The statement called for an independent international investigation into Israeli violations of international humanitarian law in Gaza, and Israel’s use of internationally banned weapons to target hospitals and media institutions in the Strip.

The summit also reportedly urged Israel to respond to international calls for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, comply with the decisions of the International Court of Justice to prevent genocide, and lift the unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.

Brazil’s Lula compares war on Gaza to Holocaust

Sunday 18-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva compared Israel’s killing of Palestinians in Gaza to the Nazi genocide against Jews during World War Two.

“What is happening in the Gaza Strip with the Palestinian people has no parallel in other historical moments,” Lula said on Sunday during the 37th African Union summit in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.

Lula told reporters in Addis Ababa that what was happening in the Gaza Strip “isn’t a war, it’s a genocide.”

“It’s not a war of soldiers against soldiers. It’s a war between a highly prepared army and women and children,” he added.

Meanwhile, the 'Hamas Movement has said it “values” the Brazilian president’s remarks, calling them an “accurate description” of what Palestinians are enduring.

Israel incensed after Brazil's Lula likens Gaza war to Holocaust

February 19, 2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (Reuters) -

"What is happening in the Gaza Strip with the Palestinian people has no parallel in other historical moments. In fact, it did exist when Hitler decided to kill the Jews," Lula told reporters during the 37th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa.

Earlier on Sunday, Lula also condemned the suspension of humanitarian aid to the UN Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA), urging an investigation into errors without cutting off funding to help those affected by what he called a "genocide."

"It's not a war between soldiers and soldiers, it's a war between a highly prepared army and women and children," he said.

UNRWA is facing a financial strain following Israel's assertion that 12 out of its 13,000 staff members in Gaza were implicated in Hamas's Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

IOFs refuse to evacuate Palestinian patients from Nasir Hospital

Monday 19-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) refuse to evacuate patients in Nasir Medical Complex to receive treatment in other hospitals, putting their lives at risk.

The Ministry explained that 150 patients are left incapable of moving in the rooms and corridors of the said hospital due to the lack of health care.

On Sunday evening, the IOFs abducted Dr. Nahidh Abu Tu'aima, the Director of The Surgical Ward in Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younus.

For her part, the Regional Director of the World Health Organization in the Middle East said that “the situation at Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza is catastrophic, and we are concerned over the safety of patients”.

Fierce fighting has recently broken out in the vicinity of the hospital, after it had been invaded by Israeli troops, amid power cutoff according to the Ministry of Health.

It's time for international intervention to disclose hidden Israeli prisons, says a Palestinian official

RAMALLAH, Monday, February 19, 2024 (WAFA) –

The head of the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission, Qaddoura Faris, today called on international community to take an immediate action to disclose the hidden Israeli prisons and detention centers that were established after the 7th of October.

Faris affirmed that Palestinian detainees held in occupation jails since October 7 have been deliberately subjected to various forms of torture and maltreatment, in a clear violation to international laws and principles, according to a report published by Channel 13.

Faris said in a statement that “the report published by the Israeli Channel 13 about the types of torture imposed on those who were arrested on October 7 or throughout the days of the Israeli aggression, proved that the occupying state used internationally-prohibited torture and abuse methods against the Palestinian detainees."

Faris added, "What is the international community waiting for? Isn't all this violence and crime against the activists of the Palestinian people in the occupation prisons enough? And does the international community want us to wake up to an unprecedented tragedy in the history of humanity?

"All these questions and many others have become a cry of anger that we raise every day in the face of humanity," Fares noted.

Faris strongly condemned the forms of torture to which Palestinian detainees are subjected to by Israeli forces in general in all occupation prisons and detention centers, and in particular the detainees from the Gaza Strip, who were abandoned by the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Palestine Red Crescent releases new audio of murdered child’s last words

GAZA, Monday, February 19, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Palestine Red Crescent Society released a new audio recording of six-year-old Hind Rajab on Sunday documenting the moments of horror she experienced while trapped alone, surrounded by Israeli tanks and the bodies of her relatives who were killed by Israeli soldiers.

“They are dead. The tank is next to me. It is moving from the front of the car,” Hind told a Red Crescent staffer by phone.

Terrified, she added that the tank “is very close. Please, stay with me when someone comes. You can hang up, okay?”

“Hind was killed alone as the (Israeli) occupation first bombed the ambulance that was heading to rescue her, just a few meters away from her, resulting in the killing of Red Crescent paramedics Yousef Zaino and Ahmed Al-Madhoun,” the society said on X.

Among the stories etched in the world's memory is that of Hind Rajab -- a child who had not reached her seventh year before finding herself besieged by death, literally on all sides.

But the demand for accountability for her execution awaits an answer.

Hind pleaded with Red Crescent officials to rescue her from the car she was trapped in with her relatives -- all of whom were killed by Israeli army gunfire.

But the ambulance crew was unable to get to her because of the intensity of the gunfire and the targeting by the Israeli military of anything that moved.

She waited and for three hours remained on the phone with Red Crescent teams, expressing her fear.

On Feb. 12, days after her last call, an ambulance team found Hind's body. She had died the day she made her plea along with the two paramedics who had gone to rescue her.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

IOFs kill Palestinian young man at a West Bank checkpoint

Monday 19-February-2024, NABLUS, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) killed on Sunday evening a Palestinian young man at the Bait Fureek checkpoint in the east of Nablus City.

The martyr was identified as 26-year-old Anas Duwaikat from Rujaib town, in eastern Nablus.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire at a car near the checkpoint, killing a young man, adding that the IOF took him away in an Israeli ambulance before announcing his martyrdom later.

The IOFs closed the checkpoint in both directions of the road, claiming its soldiers there came under fire.

Later, the IOFs handed over Duwaikat’s body to an ambulance crew at the Rafeedia Hospital in Nablus City.

Duwaikat was the third to be killed by IOFs gunfire in the West Bank on Sunday. Two young men were already martyred in a morning raid in Toulkarm refugee camp.

In another incident, the IOFs stormed on the same day the house of martyr Fadi Jamjoum in Shu'fat refugee camp, northeast of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and took its measurements as a prelude to demolishing it.

Jamjoum was martyred last Friday after he carried out a shooting operation in the east of 'Asqalan (Ashkelon) in the southern district of Israel (1948 occupied Palestine).

Violent clashes reportedly happened between local youths and Israeli occupation soldiers during the IOFs raid on martyr Jamjoum’s house.
