Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip:  

By February 16, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 35,775+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (28,775) and those who are still missing under the rubble (Corrected on February 7, 2024: 7,000+).   

By February 16, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 68,552, and more than 2,520 civilians have been abducted from Gaza Strip.

By January 17, 2024, about 661 detainees from Gaza are currently languishing in Israeli prisons as “illegitimate combatants” (the Israeli term for Palestinian fighters) in addition to more than 50 women from Gaza, who are detained in the Damon prison, noting that 8 women of whom have been recently released.

By February 8, 2023, the death toll included 12,150+ children and 8,300+ women (more than 73% of the accounted for victims). 

By February 13, 2024, there were 407 Palestinians who were killed, 3,645 who were injured, and 6,973, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023 (Some of the detainees have been released).

About 12,091 Palestinians, from both the West Bank and Gaza, have been detained in 2023. About half of them were detained after October 7. This included 1,085 children and 300 women.

The total number of detainees in the occupation prisons until the end of December was 8,800, and the number of administrative detainees was 3,484.

GMO reveals latest statistics on Israeli genocidal war on Gaza

The Palestinian Government Media Office (GMO) in the Gaza Strip revealed on Saturday the latest and most significant figures on the Israeli ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7.

This announcement comes as the latest updates from the GMO, showing the scale of human and material damage that resulted from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, on its 120th day.

The statistics demonstrated latest updates on the numbers of martyrs, missing, and wounded people in addition to the sick, displaced and prisoners as well as numbers of damaged structures and infrastructure.

Below are figures released by the GMO about Israel’s violations over the period of 120 days since the start of its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza, which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

UNRWA: Gaza plunges into darkness with more than 2 million people isolated

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) said on Thursday that “Gaza is mired in darkness as communications have been totally cut off, leaving residents unable to communicate with each other and with the outside world.”

UNRWA posted on its account on X, photos from the streets of Gaza showing how it was plunged into darkness on multiple occasions during the war.

“The power outage that has been ongoing for several consecutive days in Gaza has left more than 2 million residents unable to communicate with each other and with the outside world, amid the expansion of the Israeli military operation and the ongoing airstrikes,” UNRWA added.

'Hamas denounces the Israeli Knesset approval of a bill to ban UNRWA in Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem)

The 'Hamas Movement on Thursday condemned the voting on a bill in a preliminary reading in the Israeli government legislative branch (Knesset) to ban the work of the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem).

The Palestinian group said the move is aimed to “terminate the work of the agency which represents an international witness on the suffering of our people, on their forcible expulsion from their homes and on their right to return to them.”

“We reject this occupation’s decision, which contradicts the related international resolutions,” the 'Hamas Movement said.

It further urged the international community and the UN “to take all necessary steps and measures to ensure the continuity of the agency’s work.”

Earlier Wednesday, the Israeli Knesset passed a bill in its preliminary reading to ban UNRWA in Israel and the occupied West Bank. The bill, however, needs to pass three more readings before becoming law.

Meanwhile, Ireland has announced 20 million euros ($21.5m) in support for UNRWA.

“In Gaza, we are bearing witness to a humanitarian catastrophe. People are in dire need of the most basic lifesaving provisions – food, water, shelter,” said Foreign Minister Micheal Martin.

“In these most harrowing conditions, facing the prospect of further military escalation, UNRWA is the backbone of the humanitarian response. It urgently needs support from all UN member states,” Martin said during a visit to Dublin by UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini.

“I urge other donors to resume and expand support to UNRWA so that it can deliver for the millions of Palestinian refugees in need,” he concluded.

Palestinian Health Ministry: Israel confining hundreds of people at Nasir Hospital

Palestinian Health Ministry spokesperson Ashraf Al-Qidra affirmed that Israeli troops are forcing 95 medics, 191 patients and 165 displaced people into an old building at the Nasir medical center under “harsh conditions” without food or milk for the children.

“The Nasir Medical Complex is witnessing a catastrophic, worrying situation because of the dwindling medical capacity as fuel is set to run out in the next 24 hours,” Al-Qidra said in a statement.

Such situation directly threatens the lives of patients, including six on respirators in intensive care and three children in incubators,” Al-Qidra added.

Earlier Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus city in the southern Gaza Strip after demolishing its southern wall.

The Ministry of Health affirmed that the Israeli occupation army stormed the maternity building at the Nasser Medical Complex, as it continued a raid on southern Gaza’s largest health facility.

The ministry added that the military destroyed two ambulances inside the compound.

At first light on this morning, the IOF also forcibly relocated the remaining displaced individuals from the Nasir Medical Complex.

The Ministry went on to say that the Israeli occupation ordered the complex administration to transfer all patients—including those in critical care and the nursery—as well as six patients who were on respiration, to the former Nasir building.

Of the 36 hospitals in Gaza, 14 are partially operational due to the Israeli attacks, with nine located in the south and six in the north.

UN Human Rights concerned by pattern of Israeli raids on Gaza medical facilities

GENEVA, Friday, February 16, 2024 (WAFA) –

The UN Human Rights Office has expressed deep concern over reports of Israeli occupation forces raiding the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip. This comes less than a week after the forces raided Al Amal Hospital in the city.

The raid follows a weeks-long siege that severed medical, food, and fuel supplies to the complex. Ravina  Shamdasani, spokesperson for the Office, stated, "We are deeply worried by the reports that Israeli forces have raided the Nasser Medical Complex in the south of the occupied Gaza Strip, less than a week after they raided Al Amal Hospital in western Khan Younus."

During the raid, Israeli occupation forces ordered the transfer of all patients, including those in intensive care and nursery units, to a different building. This move, Shamdasani says, exposes patients to significant risks, including the potential death of the most vulnerable. Unconfirmed reports suggest detentions and targeting of those attempting to leave the hospital.

The UN Human Rights Office said it has documented similar raids in various regions of Gaza, causing serious consequences for the safety of patients, medical staff, and civilians seeking refuge in these facilities.

"With nearly 70,000 people reportedly injured during this conflict, and a nearly collapsed health system due to attacks on facilities and restrictions on essential humanitarian supplies, the impact on civilians is appalling," Shamdasani added.

She continued, "International humanitarian law protects medical facilities as crucial infrastructure. They are entitled to special protection and should not be the target of attacks or used for acts harmful to the enemy."

"As the occupying power, Israel has the duty to ensure and maintain medical facilities and services throughout the occupied territory, including the Gaza Strip."

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Friday that the Israeli occupation has committed ten massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of 112 martyrs and injuring 157 over the past 24 hours.

The Ministry said in a press statement, “a number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads. Israeli occupation forces have been blocking the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews, preventing them from reaching the victims.”

The Ministry confirmed that the tally of casualties as a result of the Israeli brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year has mounted to 28,775 martyrs and 68,552 injuries.

Since that date, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a destructive genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 110,000 martyrs, wounded, and missing, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure.

Gaza: 112 Palestinians killed in 10 massacres by Israel in last 24 hours

Israeli occupation forces carried out 10 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, resulting in 112 fatalities and 157 injuries, according to the local health authorities in Gaza.

Medical sources reported that the total number of documented Palestinian casualties since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7 has risen to 28,775, with an additional 68,552 injuries.

The sources further explained that some victims remain missing under the rubble and in the streets, as Israeli occupation forces continue to prevent ambulance and rescue teams from reaching them.

At least 11 Palestinians killed in continuing Israeli genocidal airstrikes on Gaza

GAZA, Friday, February 16, 2024 (WAFA) –

 At least 11 Palestinians were reported killed last night as a result of the continuing Israeli genocidal airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip, according to local and medical sources.

In Rafa'h, south of the Strip, at least 11 civilians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Nasr neighborhood east of the city.

Local sources confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces targeted two homes belonging to the Zu'rub and Jouda families, resulting in the killing of 11 Palestinians and multiple injuries.

Earlier in the night, at least two people were killed and others injured in Israeli attacks on the homes of the Sabbah and Afana families in the Al-Sikka Street area, east of Jabalya in northern Gaza.

Local sources reported that civil defense and ambulance teams retrieved the bodies of two martyrs and several wounded individuals from the rubble of the two houses. The teams are continuing search and rescue efforts to locate potential survivors.

Israeli warplanes also targeted the Tel Al-Za'tar area in the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with artillery shelling by Israeli occupation forces in the village of Mughraqa, in central Gaza, and around the vicinity of the University College south of the Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City.

In Khan Younus, southern Gaza, Israeli occupation forces compelled the administration of Nasser Medical Complex to relocate 95 healthcare workers, 11 of their family members, 191 patients, and 165 accompanying individuals to the old Nasser Building under harsh and frightening conditions, lacking food and infant formula, and facing a severe shortage of water.

The complex is reportedly experiencing a critical situation due to the shortage of medical resources, and fuel is expected to run out within the next 24 hours, endangering the lives of patients, including six under artificial respiratory support in the intensive care unit and three infants in the nursery. The emergency department and surgical wards are operating without adequate medical care for the 20 patients.

By February 15, 2024, in a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 has resulted in more than 28,663 confirmed fatalities, including over 12,000 children. Additionally, over 68,395 people have been injured.

Power outage claims lives of four patients at Nasser Hospital amid Israeli siege

Khan Younus, Friday, February 16, 2024 (WAFA) -

Four patients in the intensive care unit at Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus, southern Gaza, died this morning due to disruption in oxygen supply caused by a power outage amid the continuing Israeli siege of the hospital, according to medical sources.

Additionally, reports indicate two women have been forced to give birth in inhumane conditions without electricity, water, food, or heating within the hospital.

The sources revealed that the imminent depletion of fuel and the Israeli blockade pose a threat to the lives of patients and vulnerable children at the complex. The hospital administration blamed the Israeli occupation for the well-being of patients and medical teams, urging all international institutions to swiftly intervene and rescue those in the medical complex.

Earlier yesterday, Israeli occupation forces coerced the administration of Nasir Medical Complex into relocating 95 healthcare professionals, 11 families, 191 patients, and 165 accompanying displaced individuals to the old Nasir Building, subjecting them to harsh and frightening conditions.

Three Palestinians killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City

GAZA, Thursday, February 15, 2024 (WAFA) -

At least three Palestinians were reported killed and several others injured this evening, some of them seriously, as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle and a group of civilians in Gaza City, according to local sources.

Israeli warplanes targeted a vehicle and a group of civilians in Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City, resulting in the tragic killing of at least two individuals and injuries to at least five others. The airstrike also inflicted significant damage to surrounding properties and buildings.

In addition to the attack on Al-Jalaa Street, Israeli occupation forces carried out airstrikes on the neighborhoods of Sabra and Zaytoun in the city. Furthermore, Israeli artillery targeted the Shaikh 'Ijleen area with at least one strike.

South of the Gaza Strip, particularly in Khan Younus, which is witnessing a massive-scale Israeli ground invasion, medical sources reported that Israeli occupation forces have compelled the administration of the Nasir Medical Complex to relocate 95 healthcare workers, along with 11 of their family members, 191 patients, and 165 civilians and displaced persons into the old Nasir Building under harsh and inhumane conditions. 

The medical personnel, patients and other individuals trapped inside the hospital are reportedly without food or infant formula, and are facing a severe shortage of water.

The Nasir Medical Complex is also experiencing a catastrophic situation due to its conversion into a military barracks by the invading Israeli army. Medical teams are reportedly unable to provide any treatment to patients, significantly impacting their health conditions.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces 

IOF carries out new kidnapping campaign in West Bank

Friday 16-February-2024, WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched a new raid and kidnapping campaign throughout the West Bank at dawn Friday, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

In Qalqilya, Israeli occupation regime special forces arrested the ex-prisoner Habib Haddad after opening fire at his vehicle in the Al-Dthahr neighborhood.

Military reinforcements were sent to the city, spread in Al-Dhahr neighborhood and a number of surrounding streets after a special unit infiltrated into the city in a civilian car, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

The IOFs seized the ex-prisoner’s vehicle and brutally attacked him and his friend, who was later released.

Red Crescent ambulance was prevented from reaching the area.

In Toulkarm, the IOFs stormed 'Anabta town and spread in several neighborhoods before breaking into a number of local homes.

At least one young man was detained during the raids, while several others were subjected to field investigation.

In Toubas, special forces stormed 'Aqaba town and kidnapped a local resident after violently raiding and searching his family house.

Meanwhile, a large-scale raid and kidnapping campaign was carried out in Jineen. Fifteen local houses were stormed during the campaign, while dozens of youths were detained.

In Ramallah, the IOFs stormed the Jalazoan refugee camp amid heavy firing of teargas bombs.

Similar raids were also reported in Bat La'hm (Bethlehem) and Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers

Illegal Israeli settlers burn house, vehicle, and livestock structures in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Friday, February 16, 2024 (WAFA) –

This morning, a group of illegal Israeli settlers set fire to a house, a vehicle, and two livestock pens in the wilderness of the village of Kaisan in the southern West Bank province of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), according to local sources.

The head of the Kaisan Village Council, Mousa 'Ebayat, informed WAFA that a group of colonists from the Ma'ale Amos colony, illegally built on stolen Palestinian lands, attacked the village and set ablaze a house, a vehicle, and two livestock pens used for breeding livestock and storing fodder.

The targeted properties belonged to Ibrahim Sawarka, a local Palestinian resident. No injuries were reported in the aftermath of the attack.

Israeli colonists have escalated their attacks in the Kaisan wilderness, ranging from assaults on residents to assaults on their homes and properties.

Terror attacks by Israeli colonist militias are a common feature of the daily life under the Israeli colonial settler occupation, but have seen exponential growth in recent months with the rise of ultranationalist fascism in Israel's government coalition.

Shepherd wounded in an attack by illegal Israeli settlers in Al-Beerih

RAMALLAH, Friday, February 16, 2024 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian shepherd sustained injuries today in a terror attack by a group of illegal Israeli settlers while he was grazing his livestock near the city of Al-Beerih in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

The sources reported that a group of colonists assaulted the man, beating him, while he was herding his sheep near the Sidi Shibban shrine northeast of the city, resulting in injuries and bruises to him.

Illegal Israeli settlers place mobile homes on Palestinian land near Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Thursday, February 15, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of illegal Israeli settlers erected mobile homes this evening on stolen Palestinian lands near the village of Wadi Ra'hhal, located south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Hassan Braijiyah, a local activist, told WAFA that the illegal Israeli settlers placed four mobile homes in the area with the aim of expanding the Giv'at Einam colony, illegally built nearby on the lands of local Palestinian citizens.

Notably, the illegal Israeli settlers have intensified their colonization efforts in the region, involving the seizure and cultivation of Palestinian lands and preventing landowners from accessing them.
