While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza, which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

WHO: Attack on Rafa'h would cause unimaginable disaster

Thursday 15-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

Richard Peppercorn, a representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Gaza and the West Bank, said on Wednesday that “an Israeli military attack on the city of Rafa'h in southern Gaza Strip would cause an unimaginable disaster.”

Peppercorn added in a press statement that “the attack will lead to the complete destruction of the health system in the Gaza Strip.”

He explained that “military operations in this densely populated area will undoubtedly be an unimaginable disaster and will exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe beyond imagination.” The WHO representative pointed out that “the Organization’s ability to distribute medical aid in Gaza has become limited due to the rejection of many of its requests to deliver supplies.”

According to Peppercorn, only 40% of the Organization’s missions to northern Gaza have been approved since November, and this rate has significantly decreased since January.

He added that “all these missions have been rejected, obstructed, or postponed,” emphasizing that “it is ridiculous to approve only 40% of the requests to send missions from WHO to southern Gaza.”

Since October 7th, the Israeli occupation army has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip with American and European support, as its planes bombarded the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers, and the homes of Palestinian civilians, destroying them over the heads of their inhabitants, and preventing the entry of water, food, medicine, and fuel.

For its part, the Euro-Mediterranean Monitor for Human Rights confirmed that Israeli military attacks have already begun against the city of Rafa'h in southern Gaza Strip, warning that the genocide has reached Rafa'h through killing, hunger, and deprivation of health services.

The human rights monitor said that the Israeli occupation army has already killed about 280 people in Rafa'h, including 155 children and women.

It added that the occupation has also completely or partially destroyed about 220 housing units in the city of Rafa'h since the International Court of Justice’s decision on January 26th.

The Euro-Med monitor warned that the humanitarian aid that reached Rafa'h Governorate did not meet the minimum urgent and catastrophic humanitarian needs faced by the Palestinians there.

It added, “Instead of facilitating the access of aid to the Gaza Strip, Israel has escalated its measures to restrict the entry of this aid, and all the residents of the Gaza Strip are now suffering from severe food insecurity.”

The Euro-Med monitor warned of the increasing cases of death resulting from hunger or malnutrition or diseases related to them.

By February 14, 2024, the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on Gaza has resulted in the death of 28,576 people and the injury of 68,291 individuals, along with the displacement of over 85%, approximately 1.9 million people, of the population, according to authorities in the region and international organizations.

World Food Program warns of high rate of hunger in the West Bank

Thursday 15-February-2024, NEW YORK, (PIC)

The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) warned on Wednesday that “escalating violence, arrests, and movement restrictions is increasing the rate of hunger among Palestinians in the West Bank.”

“Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have lost their work permits in Israel and are unable to leave the West Bank, while commercial activity within the occupied Palestinian territories is limited, which puts economy and the humanitarian situation at risk of further deterioration”, the WFP said in its report.

Since October 7, the West Bank has been grappling with economic and political deterioration, in addition to severe constraint on the freedom of movement due to the installment of additional checkpoints, which restricted the movement of residents significantly.

The WFP said, “The current situation has left negative economic effects, as a huge number of workers have lost their jobs, companies have been forced to close or reduce their production”. The Palestinian Authority is facing a severe shortage of funding, affecting the salaries of its employees”, it added.

The WFP said that “the escalating movement restrictions have been affecting farmers financially due to their inability to reach customers, leading to “a significant rise in food prices in the West Bank, while unemployment and poverty rates are also rising.”

Meanwhile, the cities of the West Bank and Jerusalem are also witnessing an escalation, coinciding with the Israeli ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, which has so far led to the martyrdom of 28,576 people and the injury of 68,291 others, in addition to the displacement of more than 85 percent (about 1.9 million people) of the Strip’s population, according to official authorities and international bodies and organizations.

Gaza’s health ministry calls on UN to protect Nasir Hospital

Wednesday 14-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

Amid sniper attacks, the Israeli occupation army forced dozens of Palestinian displaced families who were seeking refuge in the Nasser hospital in Khan Younus, southern the Gaza Strip, to leave the facility on Wednesday.

Palestinian citizens started in the morning to evacuate the main hospital in the southern Gaza town of Khan Younus, according to videos shared by medics on Wednesday.

Weeks of heavy Israeli bombing and shooting attacks had isolated the medical facility and claimed the lives of several civilians and medical workers inside it.

Those sheltering inside the hospital started to leave the hospital after the Israeli army airdropped pamphlets on Tuesday ordering only the displaced civilians to leave.

An estimated 300 medics, 450 patients, and hundreds of displaced people were still in the hospital on Wednesday morning.

Later, Al Jazeera satellite channel said that the displaced civilians who left the hospital had to return to the facility after Israeli forces at a nearby checkpoint prevented them from continuing to walk and kidnaped a number of them.

The people sheltering in the hospital already were too scared to evacuate due to news of Israeli soldiers and drones opening fire at anyone walking outside the facility.

Videos that widely circulated on social media show hundreds of people leaving the hospital grounds as Israeli armed quadcopters were hovering over the premises.

For its part, the health ministry in Gaza said that the Israeli army killed a number of displaced civilians and injured others after they left the hospital.

Spokesman for the ministry Ashraf Al-Qidra called on the UN to work immediately on protecting the Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus and the civilians inside it, saying the facility “is being exposed to Israeli aggression and tight siege.”

Spokesman Qidra appealed to the UN and its institutions to save the medical crews and the displaced and wounded civilians at the hospital as “they are facing a health and humanitarian catastrophe.”

He also reported deteriorating conditions at the hospital with sewage water flooding the emergency room and piles of garbage and medical waste building up in the hospital’s hallways, which raises the risk of disease.

Food supplies and drinking water have already run out at the hospital, according to medical sources from the facility.

'Hamas calls for international action to prevent Israeli massacre at Nasir Hospital

Thursday 15-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement has warned of what it described as “the catastrophic humanitarian situation” at the Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus, which is under ongoing Israeli attack and siege.

In a statement on Wednesday, 'Hamas said that the civilians inside the besieged hospital do not have the minimum requirements for life, including medicines and foodstuffs, adding that several people inside the hospital had been killed by Israel sniper and drone fire.

'Hamas called on the UN and all relevant parties to take immediate and urgent action to prevent the Israeli occupation army from storming the hospital and committing a horrific massacre against the displaced citizens, patients and medical crews, affirming that the people inside the facility have nowhere else to go.

The Movement called on the Red Cross and the World Health Organization to necessarily shoulder their humanitarian responsibilities and urgently move to provide the hospital with food, water and medical supplies to save those inside it.

In the same context, spokesman for the health ministry Ashraf Al-Qidra described the situation inside the Nasser Hospital as “extremely tragic and disturbing” as the Israeli army continues to order the remaining displaced people inside it to leave the facility.

Spokesman Al-Qidra affirmed that more than 1,500 displaced people are still inside the hospital, alongside 190 staff and 273 patients who cannot move.

Al-Qidra underlined that there are 18 babies in intensive care, three babies in incubators and 35 dialysis patients at Nasser Hospital.

According to him, sewage water has flooded the hospital’s emergency room and piles of garbage and medical waste have built up in the hospital’s hallways and courtyards, which raises the risk of disease.

The hospital has already run out of food, fuel for power generators and other essential supplies after having been under siege for weeks.

Palestinian Health Minister warns of humanitarian catastrophe due to the Israeli targeting of Nasir hospital

(WAFA Images)

RAMALLAH, Thursday, February 15, 2024 (WAFA) -

Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, Thursday warned of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe as a result of the Israeli occupation army forcing citizens to evacuate the Nasser Medical Complex in the city of Khan Younus, where they had been forcibly displaced.

At dawn today, a Palestinian civilian was killed, and a number of patients were injured after Israeli forces bombed the hospital’s orthopedic department.

The occupation forces also stormed the complex’s courtyard and opened fire on its departments.

Al-Kaila said that such crime is added to the series of crimes committed by the occupation against Palestinian people in its ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, stressing that Israel's brutal bombing and fire did not leave any safe place in the Strip, which to date has led to killing of more than 28,600 citizens and injuring more than 69,600 citizens, while thousands remain under the rubble.

She stressed, in an urgent appeal to the United Nations General Assembly and international human rights institutions, that what the Israeli forces are doing in Nasser Medical Complex repeats the horrific crimes that occurred in the hospitals of the Gaza Strip, including Al-Shifa Medical Complex, when the occupation army forced the displaced to evacuate the hospital, and targeted them with fire and arrested them during their exit.

The occupation forces are imposing a strict siege on the complex for the 25th day in a row, with snipers targeting those inside it or in its courtyards, which has led to the inability of medical teams to move between its buildings, in light of the presence of 300 health personnel, 450 sick and wounded, and 10,000 displaced people.

Alkaila added that the displaced people took refuge in Nasser Medical Complex to escape the brutal aggression of the occupation, as there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip, and that international humanitarian law guarantees the right of every safe person in civil institutions protected under the Geneva Conventions.

She pointed out that the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip is horrific, as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression, the lack of food, water and medicine, the outbreak of diseases and the danger of death that haunts them everywhere they find safety.

Casualties as the Israeli occupation army bombs and storms Nasir Hospital in Gaza

Thursday 15-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army bombed on Thursday morning the Nasir Hospital in southern Gaza, killing at least one wounded patient and injuring others, some seriously.

Other media sources reported several casualties as the Israeli army bombed and stormed the hospital after demolishing its southern wall.

Spokesman for the health ministry Ashraf Al-Qidra said that the Israeli army attacked the hospital and its grounds, including its orthopedic department, the ambulance building and the tents in its courtyards, and bulldozed the mass graves in the medical compound.

Spokesman Al-Qidra added that the patients in the intensive care department are threatened with death after Israeli soldiers deliberately damaged the oxygen cylinder.

He affirmed that the Israeli army ordered the hospital’s doctors to move the patients, including the premature babies in the incubators, to the old building.

Israeli army raids Nasir Medical Complex, turns it into a military base

GAZA, Thursday, February 15, 2024 (WAFA) -

Israeli occupation forces today raided the Nasir Medical Complex and turned it into a military base, according to local and medical sources.

Medical sources reported that Israeli forces further demolished the southern wall of the complex before breaking into it amid indiscriminate shooting of heavy gunfire.

The occupation army intensively targeted the headquarters of the Red Crescent Ambulance Center housing a large number of wounded individuals and tents sheltering displaced people.

Meanwhile, Israeli tanks and army vehicles razed the mass graves inside the complex, which has been under a strict military siege for about 25 days.

Israeli occupation army further forced the remaining displaced persons and families of medical personnel  to forcibly evacuate the Nasser Medical Complex at dawn today under indiscriminate Israeli bombardments.

Furthermore, the occupation also ordered the administration of the Nasser Medical Complex to transfer all patients, including intensive care and nursery patients, to the old Nasser building, including six patients who are undergoing artificial respiration.

The occupation destroyed the oxygen support and feeding tubes, resulting in a decrease in oxygen pressure inside the Complex, particularly in the intensive care department, putting the lives of hundreds of patients at an imminent risk of death, due to the ongoing Israeli shelling of the Complex.

Ministry of Health warned of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe as a result of Israeli evacuation orders the Nasir Medical Complex sheltering hundreds of wounded individuals, including those in critical condition and requiring artificial respiration in the city of Khan Younus.

Doctors Without Borders also has expressed its deep concern over the horrific situation inside the Complex.

The occupation army has been carrying out a series of intense airstrikes and artillery shelling on Khan Younus, and in the vicinity of the hospital, jeopardizing the safety of patients and medical personnel inside.

Israeli airstrike destroys Doctors Worldwide Türkiye clinic in Gaza

Wednesday 14-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The “Doctors Worldwide Türkiye” organization announced that the Israeli ongoing airstrikes had completely destroyed its accredited clinic in Gaza, where it provided health services to the Palestinians.

The organization reported, in a statement, that the clinic, which is located in the center of Gaza City and has been operational since 2015, was completely demolished during the ongoing Israeli assaults that began on Oct.7, 2023.

This development has significantly impacted the enclave’s healthcare services, it highlighted.

The clinic had been vacant since the start of the Israeli attacks and was a central healthcare provider in Gaza City. Despite its destruction, Doctors Worldwide Türkiye continues to offer medical assistance in southern Gaza, primarily operating out of Kuwait Hospital.

The organization has managed the dwindling medical and consumable supplies in Gaza by ensuring continuous delivery of medical and aid materials from Egypt via the Rafa'h Border Crossing.

The organization has reached over 113,000 Gazans since the onset of the attacks, providing essential supplies such as medicines, hygiene kits, primary food items, and baby and patient diapers.

It pointed out that 30 hospitals, 53 health centers, 150 health institutions, and 122 ambulances were out of service due to recent attacks in Gaza.

Since October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving tens of thousands of civilian victims, most of them women and children, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction.

In the central of Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes targeted several civilian homes in the Al-Buraij and Al-Maghazi camps, causing multiple casualties.

Following the Israeli airstrike in Al-Buraij and Al-Maghazi camps, scores of dead bodies and wounded individuals were later rushed to Al-Aqsa Hospital in the neighboring city of Dair El-Bala'h.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

IOFs raid West Bank areas, kidnap Palestinian citizens

Thursday 15-February-2024, WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnaped last night and at dawn Thursday a number of Palestinian citizens in different areas of the West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a citizen from his home in Toulkarm City and confiscated security camera recordings from an amusement park.

The IOF also kidnaped three citizens, including senior Islamic Jihad official Nadir Nassar, from their homes in 'Illar town, northern Toulkarm.

The occupation bulldozers began to destroy the parking lot built on the land, to prevent Jerusalemites from parking their cars in it, after the occupation court forced them last week to vacate the area, which is owned by a Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) families.

For six years, the families of 'Owais, 'Hamad, and 'Atallah of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) have continued to confront the attempts of the Israeli “Parks and Antiquities” authorities, supported by the occupation municipality in Al-Quds (Jerusalem), to control the “Khandaq” site in the Old City, which is popularly known as “Friday Market,” and is adjacent to Yousufiya Cemetery, which was partially seized to establish a "national park", and it is close to the Lions' Gate and Al-Sahira Gate.

'Hamad 'Hamad, the representative of the 'Hamad family, told WAFA that the land belongs to his family and other Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) families, adding that it was called “the Friday Market land.”

The occupation municipality is trying to control this lot, under the pretext of it being near to the eastern wall of the Old City, through lawsuits filed by owners since 2018.

He added that the occupation municipality and the so-called Nature Authority, after failing to prove public ownership of the parking lot, issued an order to seize the parking lot and install the Unknown Soldier monument at the entrance to the Yousufiya Cemetery adjacent to the eastern wall.
