While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Five new prisoners from Gaza die of torture in Israeli jail

Friday 9-August-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Prisoners’ Media Center revealed on Friday the names of five new prisoners from the Gaza Strip who were martyred due to torture in Israeli occupation prisons.

The martyrs were identified as Wafa Abdul Hadi, 'Ata Fayyad, Fat'hi Jadallah, Majid Al-Sawafeeri, and 'Ali Al-Hauli.

Human rights sources reported that the above-mentioned martyrs died in Sde Teiman detention camp due to brutal torture at the hands of Israeli occupation jailers.

The Haaretz Hebrew newspaper had previously announced the martyrdom of 36 prisoners from the Gaza Strip in Sde Teiman prison, amid talks about the martyrdom of 60 detainees who had died of torture in Israeli occupation prisons since October 7 last year.

Meanwhile, the Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission said its lawyer was able to visit a number of administrative prisoners in Ofer Prison. They are A'hmed 'Hajjaj from Bait Reema, Kian Awaysa and Wajdi Khattab from Ramallah, and Mu'hammed Kamil from Qabatya near Jenin.

The lawyer said that the prisoners told him how difficult, dangerous and complex are the detention conditions in Israeli jails.

The prisoners affirmed being continuously subjected to a series of punitive and vengeful policies, including poor treatment, assaults, starvation, insults, and deprivation of clothing, medicines, painkillers and treatment, in addition to daily transfers among the prisoners, whether from one room to another or from one section to another without any justifications, just to create a state of instability.

The prisoners also spoke about the policy of coercion imposed on them in all aspects of their lives, as they recently have been forced to shave their heads to zero degree, and anyone who objects would subject to harsh penalties, which may cost him a heavy price of beatings and torture.

The Commission monitored a significant increase in the number of administrative detainees, who surged to 3,432 detainees, the majority of whom have been arrested since October last year.

Official Palestinian Media mourns journalist killed in Israeli airstrike on Khan Younus

RAMALLAH, Friday, August 9, 2024 (WAFA) –

Official Palestinian Media today mourned Palestine Voice Radio correspondent Tameem Mu'ammar who was killed along with a large number of his family in an Israeli airstrike on their house in Khan Younus.

The Official Palestinian Media stated in a press release that targeting Palestinian journalists together with their families is an integral part of the Israeli genocidal war against the Gaza Strip and pledged that Palestinian journalists and media personnel would continue to convey the suffering of the Palestinian people in the occupied territories.

It called on international media and humanitarian organizations to not only issue generic statements of condemnation, but to take immediate action to hold Israeli perpetrators of war crimes accountable and bring them before the International Criminal Court.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

By August 8, 2024, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 39,699 Palestinians, mostly children and women, and injuring over 91,722 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Al-Resheq: Smotrich’s statement on starving Gaza is a scandalous example of the genocidal war

Thursday 8-August-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

Member of the 'Hamas political bureau 'Izzat Al-Rishiq slammed on Thursday Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s statements, in which he said the starvation of Gaza’s population of more than 2 million Palestinians “might be just and moral.”

Al-Rishiq considered the comment “a scandalous statement that confirms once again the Israeli premeditated intention and its actual adoption of genocide policy in the Gaza Strip.”

“We usually hear that the criminal covers up his crime, but we are dealing with an impudent enemy that openly declares its heinous crime,” the Hamas official said.

Al-Rishiq called on the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant against Smotrich, for promoting and supporting genocide.

Euro-Med: The Israeli targeting of shelter schools is a systematic policy to evacuate Gaza

Friday 9-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli army has increased its targeting of schools that are providing shelter for the displaced people in Gaza City, killing and wounding hundreds of them in the process in a systematic effort to drive residents from their homes and places of displacement and rob them of any stability out of revenge, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said in a statement issued on Friday.

In just eight days, Israeli aircraft attacked nine schools in Gaza City that served as shelters for thousands of displaced people. They destroyed the schools above the heads of the occupants, killing 79 Palestinians and injuring 143 more—the majority of whom were women and children—in addition to several other victims who were buried beneath the rubble and were never able to be retrieved due to the lack of the necessary tools.

The latest of these attacks occurred on Thursday, August 8, at 3:00 p.m. when Israeli aircraft bombed the “Al-Zahraa” and “Abdul Fatta'h 'Hamouda” schools in the “Al-Tuffah” neighborhood east of Gaza City, where thousands of displaced people are housed. The attack resulted in the deaths of 17 civilians and the injuries of dozens more, many of whom were women and children. 16 more were reportedly missed under the rubble.

Last Sunday, August 4, Israeli aircraft bombed the Al-Nasr and 'Hasan Salama schools in Gaza City, killing 30 Palestinians and wounding 19 others. The day before, Israeli planes attacked four schools in Al-Shaikh Radhwan” neighborhood of eastern Gaza that were being used as shelter centers; 17 Palestinians were killed and 60 others were injured in the attack. Earlier this month, Israeli aircraft bombed the “Dalal Al-Mughribi” school in Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood of eastern Gaza, leaving 15 more deaths and 29 injuries.

The Euro-Med said that the bombing and destruction of these schools above the heads of the displaced people inside them had no real justification and was not necessary for military purposes.

The Euro-Med field team’s initial investigations indicate that the Israeli army deliberately destroyed the remaining shelter centers to deny the Palestinians the few remaining places to seek refuge after the systematic destruction of homes and shelters, including schools and public facilities, over the past ten months.

By continuing to bomb the entire Gaza Strip and concentrating on shelters, such as those housed in UNRWA schools, the Israeli bombing strategy indicates a clear policy intended to deprive Palestinians of security and stability, if only temporarily.

In the course of their ten-month military attack on the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces continued to bomb civilian targets, kill large numbers of civilians, target refugee centers—the majority of which are housed in UN facilities—and carry out mass murders there, all of which are considered crimes against humanity and full-fledged war crimes.

The last four days have seen new forced evacuation orders for tens of thousands of residents in Khan Yunis, the central governorate, and northern Gaza. These events coincide with the policy of bombing shelter centers in Gaza City, suggesting that Israel is purposefully stepping up the evacuation orders to force Palestinians to leave their destroyed homes and not resettle even in nearby tents.

Accordingly, the Euro-Med called on all countries to fulfil their international obligations by enacting effective sanctions against Israel and ceasing all forms of military, political, and financial assistance. This includes immediately cutting off arms exports to Israel, otherwise, these nations will be found to be complicit in crimes that have been committed in the Gaza Strip, including genocide.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village and fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters near the 'Omar Bin Al-Khattab Mosque after the Friday prayer, which led to the outbreak of confrontations with the citizens, without any reports of injuries.

Several areas of the West Bank witness weekly events rejecting the illegal Israeli settlement activity on the Palestinian lands, which trigger clashes with the IOFs.

Data from the Israeli human rights movement “Peace Now” indicate the existence of about 666,000 illegal Israeli settlers and 145 illegal settlements and 140 random settlement outposts in the occupied Palestinian territory of the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

TUBAS, Friday, August 9, 2024 (WAFA) -

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers launched an attack this morning on shepherds in the Juba area of the northern Jordan Valley region, located northeast of the occupied West Bank, assaulting a local resident and a foreign activist.

Mu'taz Bisharat, an official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in the Tubas Governorate, told WAFA that the colonists physically assaulted A'hmed 'Husain Abu Mu'hsen, a local shepherd, and abducted him. Abu Mu'hsen was later found near the illegal Israeli settlement of Mehola with severe injuries.

The same group of colonists also assaulted a foreign solidarity activist, who was present in the area at the time, Bisharat added.

This incident is part of a broader pattern of daily harassment and attacks faced by residents in the northern Jordan Valley. The illegal Israeli settlers frequently target locals and obstruct shepherds from accessing grazing lands.
