While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime revokes the accreditation of eight Norwegian diplomats working in the Palestinian territories

RAMALLAH, Thursday, August 8, 2024 (WAFA) –

As part of its hysterical reactions to all countries that support Palestine, especially those that have recognized it as a State, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime Ministry of Foreign Affairs cancelled on Thursday the travel visas of the Norwegian diplomatic mission operating in the Palestinian territories.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry sent a letter to the Embassy of Norway in Israel, terminating the mission of its job with the Palestinian Authority, cancelling entry visas for employees of the Norwegian representation in Ramallah within 7 days, and refusing to issue any entry visa for any Norwegian official who will work in the Palestinian territories, indicating that this comes in response to the unilateral measures taken by Norway and its positions after October 7.

This step was not the first against Norway, as two days ago Israel stopped transferring the Gaza Strip allocations that it deducts from the clearance funds to Norway, in response to the latter's recognition of the State of Palestine, and the statements of its Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, in which he condemned Israel's policies during the war of extermination on Gaza.

Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the Israeli Ministerial Council for Political and Security Affairs (the Cabinet) decided to cancel the Israeli-Norwegian arrangement in response to Norway's decision to recognize the Palestinian state and the legal viewpoint it submitted to the International Criminal Court.

According to Israeli media, Israeli government is looking for a new country to transfer the funds it deducts from the clearance funds, which are equal to the amounts allocated by the Palestinian government to the Gaza Strip.

Last May, Norway, Spain and Ireland announced their official recognition of the Palestinian state, followed in June by Slovenia and Armenia.

These recognitions angered Israel, whose Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, quickly summoned the ambassadors of Madrid, Dublin and Oslo in response to their countries' recognition of the State of Palestine, and also summoned the ambassadors of Tel Aviv from these countries.

In retaliation against the Palestinians, the occupation government announced the expansion of colonization and the cancellation of the "Disengagement Law" in a number of colonies evacuated two decades ago in the northern West Bank.

Moosa Abu Marzouq: 'Hamas is a strong Movement, targeting its leaders by assassination does not affect it

Thursday 8-August-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

The head of the International Relations Office in the 'Hamas Movement, Moosa Abu Marzouq, said on Wednesday that there is an internal system that governs the Movement in all its components, “as its Shoura Council is the guardian and responsible for its regulations and systems.”

Abu Marzouq added in press statements that “Haniyya played a distinctive role during his chairmanship (of the Movement’s political bureau), and was an example to be emulated at both the national and popular levels.”

He explained that “the Movement’s regulations state that either Khalid Mish'al or Ya'hya Al-Sinwar should take over the position; however, Misha'l stepped aside and presented Abu Ibraheem (Al-Sinwar) to head the Movement.”

Abu Marzouq stated that “Israel’s decision to target the Movement’s leadership does not affect 'Hamas, as it is a strong and deeply rooted Movement.”

He added that “the iron swords unleashed by the enemy (Israel) are met with the swords and steadfastness of Al-Sinwar, and they know that.”

He affirmed that “the choice of Al-Sinwar is a strong message against all Israeli plans and a message of rallying around the Al-Aqsa Flood.”

Abu Marzouq explained that “Al-Sinwar was leading the war and leading the Gaza Strip, and he will remain so, and his deputy Khaleel Al-'Hayya is present abroad and contributes to managing the enclave from abroad, and this war has its own circumstances and conditions.”

“There is no individual decision in the Movement, and in this battle, there is no flexible leader and a inflexible leader. We all decide what is in the interest of our people and the interest of the Movement,” according to Abu Marzouq.

Abu Marzouq pointed out that “Al-Sinwar will lead this battle with determination, and the whole world will see that.”

Abu Marzouq said, “'Hamas is fighting on all its fronts, and the battle is our battle, and our partners and allies are appreciated, and their response is coming as mentioned by the owners of the matter.”

He continued that “Netanyahu wants to drag the region into a regional war, and he knows very well that the response is inevitable.”

He explained that with regard to the investigations into the assassination of the leader Isma'eel Haniyya, “there is communication on the matter, but the manner of the response is a purely Iranian matter.”

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas, announced on Tuesday evening the choice of Ya'hya Al-Sinwar as the new head of the Movement’s Political Bureau, succeeding the martyr Ismail Haniyya who was assassinated by Israel in Tehran.

Thus, Al-Sinwar becomes the fourth to chair the Hamas Political Bureau after Moosa Abu Marzouq (1992-1996), Khalid Mish'al (1996-2017) and Ismaeel Haneyya (2017-2024)

GENEVA, Thursday, August 8, 2024 (WAFA) —

Jeremy Laurence, spokesperson for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, has described recent footage of Israeli soldiers sexually assaulting a Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman detention camp as "shocking." Laurence called on Israel to thoroughly investigate all reported violations.

In a press statement today, Laurence stated, "These are shocking scenes and represent one of many instances of serious Israeli violations in recent months, including the mistreatment of Palestinian detainees, torture, sexual violence, and rape."

Laurence noted that recent reports have highlighted multiple serious breaches of international human rights and humanitarian law, including sexual violence and gender-based violence against those deprived of their liberty.

The UN official added that some of these acts might qualify as "war crimes."

He emphasized that "Israel must ensure swift, independent, and effective investigations into all allegations of violations, which we believe are widespread."

Laurence also reiterated the commission's ongoing concern over the "persistent impunity in Israel regarding violations against Palestinians in the occupied territories."

He renewed the call for Israel to grant immediate access to independent monitoring bodies, such as the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, to all detention centers.

IOAR banishes Shaikh 'Ekrima Sabri from Al-Aqsa Mosque for six months

Thursday 8-August-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) issued on Thursday a ban order against the preacher of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Shaikh 'Ekrima Sabri, blocking his entry into the holy site for six months.

The order came after Shaikh Sabri was arrested on August 2 and released hours later on the condition of banning his entry into the holy site for six days.

Shaikh Sabri, 86, was arrested from his home in the Al-Sawana neighborhood in the old city of Jerusalem after he mourned the chief of 'Hamas political bureau, Isma'eel Haniyya, and led worshipers in his funeral prayer during the last Friday sermon at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Lawyer Khalid Zabarqa, a member of the defense team for Shaikh Sabri, said the IOAR banishment order against Shaikh Sabri from Al-Aqsa Mosque for six months is an unjust and racist decision that comes as part of an incitement campaign against him launched by Israeli extremist Jewish groups.

“It is a flagrant violation of the sanctity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Endowment Authority,” he added.

The Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) lawyer 'Hamza Qatteena said that Israel’s banishment of the preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Shaikh Ekrima Sabri, from the Mosque in which he has been delivering Friday sermons for 51 years, comes amid increasing numbers of similar notices against the Palestinian Maqdisis (Jerusalemites), in blatant violation of the law and the freedom of worship.

The UN says 'killing and displacing West Bank's Palestinians continues unabated"

NEW YORK, Thursday, August 8, 2024 (WAFA) –

The United Nations said that the killing and displacement of Palestinians by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank continues unabated.

Far'han 'Haq, the spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, explained in press statements that the latest report issued by the United Nations organizations in the region indicated that the killing of Palestinians, their displacement, the destruction of their homes and the destruction of infrastructure continue unabated in the West Bank occupied by Israel.

He added that the occupation forces killed 16 Palestinians, including two children, and injured 56 others in the West Bank between July 30 and August 5.

He pointed out that the colonists also carried out more than 20 attacks against Palestinians during the same period, which resulted in injuries and damage to property.

The UN spokesman said that the ongoing Israeli bombardment of Gaza hinders the ability of relief organizations to respond to emergencies, causing "mass losses."

He pointed out that the report of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs highlighted that "repeated evacuation orders in Gaza lead to an endless cycle of displacement."

Haq stressed that it is "increasingly difficult" for Palestinians to get the humanitarian assistance they need under these circumstances, pointing out that epidemic diseases are spreading in Gaza due to polluted water, overcrowding, and inadequate hygiene conditions.

Hundreds of Palestinian Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) homes are threatened with demolition or appropriation as part of Israel’s Judaization plans in the occupied holy city.

The Palestinian Maqdisis (Jerusalemites) have no choice but to build without licenses because there are no structural maps that respond to the natural increase in their numbers.

The IOAR also imposes building restrictions on the Palestinian natives in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and makes it hard for them to obtain construction licenses.

Israel’s systematic demolition of Palestinian homes in the holy city is believed to be aimed at psychologically destroying the Palestinian Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) families in an attempt to force them to move from the city.
