While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Abu Zuhri: Washington adopts Israel’s ceasefire-disrupting position

Thursday 29-August-2024

ISTANBUL, (PIC)

The 'Hamas senior official Sami Abu Zuhri said the US administration adopts the Israeli position, which is disrupting ceasefire negotiations, noting that Washington is not serious about obliging Israel to stop its war on the Gaza Strip.

This came in his interview with Aljazeera Net in Istanbul on the sidelines of his participation in a conference held by the “Al-Quds International Foundation”.

Abu Zuhri told Aljazeera Net that the US administration does not show serious intention to obligate Israel to conclude an agreement.

He explained that the 'Hamas Movement “accepted the proposal of the brokers- Egypt, Qatar and the United States- on July 2, but Israel kept imposing new conditions, although the offer is outlined by the US President Joe Biden’s speech and the UN Security Council resolution.”

On the prospects for the negotiations in the future, Abu Zuhri said, “In all cases, there is an ongoing Israeli war of extermination in Gaza, and all international parties have to assume their responsibilities to stop the Israeli aggression and crimes.”

Abu Zuhri added, “the ball is now in the Israeli and the US court. If the Us administration is serious to reach an agreement, it must intervene to compel the Israeli occupation authority to stop this aggression against the Palestinian people and respect the previously reached agreements.”

With regard to the ongoing developments in the occupied West Bank, and the expansion of the Israeli occupation army’s military operations, Abu Zuhri said that the Israeli occupation army exploits the US cover to expand its aggression in the West Bank, stressing that the Israeli aggression is not limited to Gaza but extends to all the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Al-Rishiq: Netanyahu’s statement on polio vaccines is misleading manipulation

Thursday 29-August-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

The member of the Hamas Political Bureau, 'Izzat Al-Rishiq, said on Wednesday evening that the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements about allocating certain places in Gaza to giving polio vaccines represent a new misleading manipulation aimed at continuing the war of genocide and systematic killing of the Palestinian people.

Al-Rishiq stressed in a statement that Netanyahu’s position does not reveal an approval of a humanitarian truce that the United Nations and international organizations demanded but means a slow death of the children of Gaza.

“The suspicious method Netanyahu and his government are trying to impose would thwart the United Nations move, and deny thousands of children the vaccination,” he said.

Al-Rishiq explained that the United Nations and the international community are required to put pressure, by all means, on Netanyahu to accept a comprehensive humanitarian truce in Gaza, for giving polio vaccinations for all children in the Strip, in line with the United Nations’ call.

'Hamas mourns commander Abu Shujaa', says Israeli aggression will not break the resistance

Thursday 29-August-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement mourned the commander of the Toulkarm Brigade of Islamic Jihad, Mu'hammed Jabir Abu Shujaa', and his companions, stressing that the continued Israeli aggression on the West Bank will not weaken the resistance.

'Hamas said in a statement on Thursday, “The continuation of the Israeli brutal militAl-Rishiqary aggression on the West Bank governorates, and what we have witnessed over the past hours of Israeli occupation army’s raids, attacks, and incursions in Jineen, Toulkarm, Toubas and other provinces, will not succeed in breaking the will of our people and our resistance.”

'Hamas hailed the resistance fighters from the Al-Qassam Brigades and all armed wings of Palestinian factions who are confronting the Israeli aggression and brutal attacks, through direct engagement with Israeli occupation forces (IOFs).

The Movement called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank to adhere to unity and cohesion with the resistance, intensifying mass mobilization and field confrontation with the IOFs and Israeli fanatic settlers until liberation.

Human rights groups: IOF tortured Palestinians during field investigations in the West Bank

Thursday 29-August-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) and Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission said, “the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out brutal field investigations with Palestinians in Jineen, Toulkarm, Toubas, and Ramallah in the West Bank.”

In a joint statement, the two human rights groups affirmed on Wednesday evening that “the IOFs committed violations against detained Palestinians, according to testimonies by recently released prisoners whose bodies showed signs of torture.”

Media sources revealed that “the IOFs forced a number of Palestinians out of their homes in Jenin, in the northern West Bank, before snipers occupied their houses’ rooftops.”

Eyewitnesses reported that “the IOFs encircled Jenin Hospital, amid fierce clashes.”

They added that “the IOF stormed dozens of houses in Nour Shams Camp, in Toulkarm, northwest of the West Bank and turned some of them into detention and investigation centers.”

The Hebrew Channel 14 claimed that an Israeli soldier was wounded as a result of being targeted by “gunmen” in the Jenin camp in the West Bank.

On the other hand, the IOFs kidnapped dozens of Palestinians who were present in a building in Al-Fari’a camp in the city of Nablus.

Thursday 29-August-2024

TOULKARM, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army said on Thursday morning that its forces killed five Palestinian resistance fighters in Toulkarm during its operation in the West Bank, which entered its second day.

A spokesperson for the Israeli army said that Israeli forces with the help of the police and the Shin Bet security agency killed five gunmen inside a mosque in the West Bank city of Toulkarm overnight.

Among those killed, the Israeli army identified Mu'hammed Jaber, known as Abu Shujaa', the commander of the Nour Shams Brigade that is affiliated with the armed wing of Islamic Jihad.

There is still no Palestinian confirmation about the Israeli assassination of five resistance fighters inside a Mosque in Toulkarm.

In a related context, 21-year-old Majd Dawoud, a university student, was shot dead by Israeli soldiers during its raid in Nour Shams refugee camp before withholding his body and preventing ambulance crews from entering the camp.

Palestinians injured, others kidnaped in IOFs raids, in the West Bank

Thursday 29-August-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A group of Palestinian citizens were injured and others were kidnapped last evening and on Thursday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed different areas of the West Bank.

In Nablus, local sources said that the IOFs clashed on Wednesday evening with local youths in the eastern area of the city and 'Askar refugee camp and injured a number of them.

The Red Crescent said that a 45-year-old man was injured in his foot by IOF gunfire in the old refugee camp of A'skar in Nablus City.

One citizen was taken prisoner during an IOF raid on Thursday morning in Rafeedya neighborhood in Nablus.

In Ramallah, a citizen was injured yesterday in his leg when Israeli forces opened fire at local residents in Bait Reema town.

The IOFs reportedly took over a house in the same town and used it as an interrogation center.

In Toubas, the IOFs kidnapped yesterday two citizens from Fari’ah refugee camp.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the IOFs kidnapped today 12 citizens from their homes in Al-'Arroub refugee camp, including two fathers along with three sons.

The IOFs also raided a house in Wadi Al-'Hariya area in the south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) City and stole about 40,000 shekels from it.

Three other citizens were taken prisoners during dawn and morning IOFs raids on homes in Qalqilya, Dar Sala'h town in eastern Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) and Bait Seera town in western Ramallah.

Amid further raids, airstrikes and settler attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, the UN human rights office, OHCHR, warned that the Israeli military’s actions risked further enflaming an “already explosive situation.”

“A major operation by Israeli security forces (ISF) in the occupied West Bank risks seriously deepening the already catastrophic situation in the occupied Palestinian territory,” OHCHR spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani said in a statement yesterday.

“Israel’s operations in Jineen, Toubas and Toulkarm today, and the killing of at least nine Palestinians, two of them reportedly children, take the overall death toll in the West Bank since 7 October to 637. This represents the highest number of fatalities over a period of eight months since the UN first started recording casualties in the West Bank two decades ago,” Shamdasani explained.

“Many children have been killed while throwing stones at highly protected ISF, as have other Palestinians posing no imminent threat to life or serious injury. Such unnecessary or disproportionate use of force and the increase in apparent targeted and other summary killings are alarming.”

“Thousands of Palestinians have been arbitrarily arrested and tortured, subjected to unrelenting settler violence, severe restrictions on movement and expression, their homes and property destroyed or seized, and forcibly displaced.”

“Israel, as the occupying power, must abide by its obligations under international law. The Israeli security forces’ use of airstrikes and other military weapons and tactics violates human rights norms and standards applicable to law enforcement operations. Alleged unlawful killings must be thoroughly and independently investigated and those responsible held to account,” the spokeswoman concluded.

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) burned on Thursday afternoon a number of Palestinian homes in Nour Shams refugee camp, in eastern Toulkarm and wreaked havoc on public and private property during its large-scale operation in the West Bank, which entered its second day.

Local official Nihad Al-Shaweesh described the humanitarian situation in the camp as “extremely difficult,” especially after the IOF burned and detonated a number of homes and displaced their residents.

Meanwhile, the IOFs continues to prevent civil defense and ambulance crews from entering the refugee camp to provide medical assistance for injured citizens and evacuate an elderly man who was shot dead inside his house by an Israeli sniper.

The Israeli occupation forces also broke into and ransacked many homes in the camp, and continue to do so and cause widespread panic among children and women.

During the past hours, dozens of young men had also been herded into a commercial facility near the camp, where they are interrogated and assaulted before releasing them or taking them to a military base in the west of Toulkarm.

Israeli military actions in Jineen cut off phone and internet services

Thursday 29-August-2024

Jineen, (PIC)

Phone and internet services are down in the occupied West Bank city of Jineen, according to Palestinian Telecommunications Company (Paltel) and Ooredoo Group.

The telecommunications firms say the connectivity failure has been caused by the Israeli “aggression” in Jenin, which has damaged their main and backup lines in the area.

However, the companies’ technical crews have been working hard since yesterday to restore services as quickly as possible despite the situation on the ground.

In a related context, the central operations room of the Red Crescent confirmed that its contact with the Jenin ambulance center and its entire crews was lost today due to the cessation of the phone and internet services and other wireless telecommunications means.
