While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Israel and 'Hamas delegations leave Cairo after ceasefire talks ended without results

Monday 26-August-2024

CAIRO, (PIC)

Two Egyptian security sources said, “There was no agreement on Sunday in the Gaza ceasefire talks that took place in Cairo, with neither Hamas nor Israel agreeing to several compromises presented by mediators,” casting doubt on the chances of success in the latest US outlined proposal to end the 10-month-old Israeli war of genocide in Gaza.

The Hamas delegation and the Israeli negotiating team left Cairo Sunday evening, while the head of the Israeli occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, insists on occupying the Sala'huddeen Corridor, which the Israeli call as the Philadelphia Corridor (misspelled by Israelis as Philadelphi).

For long months, many rounds of ceasefire talks have been a failure in reaching an agreement that would end the Israeli aggression on the Strip or lead to a prisoner exchange deal.

The US National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, told a press conference in Halifax, Canada, that Washington is still working in Cairo towards reaching a ceasefire deal.

Key sticking points in ongoing talks mediated by the United States, Egypt and Qatar include an Israeli control over the Sala'huddeen Corridor , a narrow 14.5-km-long (9-mile-long) stretch of land along Gaza’s southern border with Egypt.

The Egyptian sources said, mediators put forward a number of alternatives to the Israeli occupation forces’ control on the Sala'huddeen Corridor and the Wadi Ghazza corridor, which the Israeli occupation regime calls Netzarim Corridor which cuts across the middle of the Gaza Strip, but none were accepted by the parties.

The Israeli occupation authorities also expressed reservations on several of the Palestinian detainees 'Hamas is demanding the release of, and Israel demanded their exit of Gaza if they are released, the sources added.

A 'Hamas delegation left Cairo on Sunday after holding talks with mediators, senior official 'Izzat El-Rishiq said, adding that the group had reiterated its demand that any agreement must stipulate a permanent ceasefire and a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.

'Hamas: Ben Gvir’s remarks, about building a synagogue at Al-Aqsa Mosque, is “dangerous”

Monday 26-August-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has strongly denounced remarks made on Monday morning by far-right Israeli security minister, who is also an illegal settler, Itamar Ben Gvir about his intent to build a synagogue for the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

In a statement, 'Hamas described his remarks in this regard as “dangerous” and a “reflection of the nature of the Israeli government’s tendencies towards Al-Aqsa Mosque and its Islamic and Arab identity.”

'Hamas accused the Israeli government of giving a free hand to its extremist ministers to carry out their malicious plots against Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and Al-Aqsa Mosque, warning that such a policy would add fuel to the flames and would be met with more resistance from the Palestinian people.

'Hamas urged the Palestinian masses in the West Bank and 1948 occupied Palestine to take to the streets in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque and march en masse to the holy city to stand in the face of the Israeli schemes targeting the holy site.

The Movement also called on the Palestinian young men in the West Bank to escalate their clashes with the Israeli occupation forces and the illegal extremist settlers.

Ben Gvir claimed Monday that Jews have the right to pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying that he would build a synagogue at the flashpoint site.

It was the first time for Ben Gvir to openly speak about building a synagogue inside Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. However, he has repeatedly called in recent months for allowing Jewish prayers at the site.

His call came amid persistent and growing break-ins into the compound by extremist Jewish settlers under police protection.

Israel received 500 US military supply planes since the start of Gaza war on October 7

Monday 26-August-2024

NAZARETH, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army said on Monday that it received the 500th US military supply plane since the start of its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip on October 7 last year.

“Last week witnessed the landing of the 500th supply plane in Israel as part of a large-scale air bridge of US military equipment and weapons for Israel,” the Israeli occupation army added.

The army also explained that the transportation process began with the outbreak of the war in Gaza on October 7, 2023.

Through this operation, over 50,000 tons of military equipment have been delivered to Israel via 500 flights and 107 sea shipments, it further elaborated.

The equipment procured and transported includes armored vehicles, weapons, ammunition, personal protection gear, and medical equipment.

The “state of Israel” has been receiving US aid since its illegal declaration in 1948 more than any other country.

During the war on Gaza, the US President Joe Biden asked the Congress to approve an additional $95 billion spending bill including $14 billion allocated for Israel.

25 shelters, 4 wells in Dair El-Bala'h went out of service due to forced displacement

Monday 26-August-2024

Dair E-Bala'h, (PIC)

The Municipality of Dair E-Bala'h announced that 25 shelters and four water wells went out of service, following the Israeli evacuation of new neighborhoods in Dair E-Bala'h over the past 72 hours.

The municipality said in a press statement on Monday, “25 shelter centers went out of service after forced displacement of 250,000 citizens within the past 72 hours, including the only government hospital which was still operating in the southern Gaza Strip.”

The municipality further explained that the closure of the four water wells brings the number of the disabled wells to 14, noting that the disabled wells were feeding nearly 70% of the people in the city, and their closure would exacerbate the water and food crisis.

The recent Israeli evacuation order in the vicinity of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital threatened the only remaining main water tank in the city, according to official sources.

Dair E-Bala'h municipality called on the international community to urgently intervene to enable the humanitarian service crews, including municipalities, hospitals and relief associations, to carry out their humanitarian duty to provide service to the displaced and citizens.

On Sunday evening, the Israeli occupation army issued a decision to evacuate new neighborhoods northeast of Dair E-Bala'h, and some neighborhoods west of Salah al-Din Street.

Abu Tu’aima was killed after an Israeli airstrike targeted a civilian vehicle he was riding in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younus city in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Media Gathering said that Abu Tu’aima’s killing brings the total number of Palestinian journalists who have been killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip to 172.

The Media Gathering condemned the ongoing Israeli genocide against the defenseless Palestinian people in the besieged Strip, and the ongoing crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals.

It also called on international institutions concerned with journalistic work to intervene urgently to stop the genocide crimes that Palestinian journalists are being subjected to.

The Media Gathering also called on various concerned media and human rights institutions to prosecute the Israeli leaders and bring them to international courts as war criminals.

HRW: Israeli occupation forces torturing detained Gaza healthcare workers

Monday 26-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces have arbitrarily detained and tortured healthcare workers in Gaza since the start of the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, Human Rights Watch (HRW) reported on Monday.

According to the rights group, the Israeli occupation forces are abducting medical workers to detention facilities in Israel, where they are tortured and mistreated.

Doctors, nurses, and paramedics released from Israeli detention told HRW they were humiliated, beaten, and put in blindfolds and handcuffs for prolonged periods of time.

The detention of medical staff coupled with the bombardment of medical facilities and hospitals has further destroyed the healthcare sector in the enclave, leaving people unable to get essential medical treatment.

Others told HRW they experienced or saw sexual abuse and rape, as well as the denial of medical care amid poor detention conditions.

“The Israeli government’s mistreatment of Palestinian healthcare workers has continued in the shadows and needs to immediately stop,” Balqees Jarra'h, the acting Middle East director at HRW said in a statement.

Jarra'h also called for a thorough investigation into the torture of medical staff and for perpetrators to be held accountable by the International Criminal Court and other organizations.

Healthcare workers who were detained by Israeli forces from November and December told HRW they were abducted while working in medical centers and hospitals and not given a reason for their detention.

Some of the staff were held at the Israeli Sde Teiman military base, which has become notorious for torture since October 7.

Others were held in Ashkelon prison or forcibly transferred to the Anatot military base near east Jerusalem.

All of the people interviewed by HRW said they were stripped, beaten, and blindfolded for many weeks on end, and pressured to confess being members of Hamas.

They added that they were threatened with indefinite detention, rape, and the killing of their family in Gaza.

One surgeon said he was “wearing scrubs and Crocs” when Israeli forces detained him during their siege of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in Bait Lahya, Gaza, in December.

“The soldier on the microphone ordered men and boys over 15 years old to evacuate the hospital…. When they took us out of the hospital, they told us to undress and stay in our underwear,” he said.

The report from HRW states that the detention and torture of the healthcare staff violate Geneva conventions, specifically Article 3 which states people not involved in the conflict should be treated humanely and Article 49, which prohibits individual forcible transfers within the occupied territory as well as deportations of civilians from the occupied territory to the occupying power’s territory.

The rights group also said Israeli authorities for decades have failed to provide credible accountability for torture and other abuses against Palestinian detainees.

The information revealed by HRW has also been corroborated by other news organizations, including Israeli news site Haaretz which in March said autopsies of Palestinians who died in Israeli detention facilities indicated medical neglect and signs of physical abuse, including bruising and broken bones.
