While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Euro-Med warns of Israel’s persistence in displacing Gazans

Wednesday 21-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has warned against the Israeli occupation army’s persistence in issuing more “illegal” evacuation orders against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement on Wednesday, Euro-Med described the last Israeli evacuation orders in Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza and Mawasi Al-Qarara in the west of Khan Younus in southern Gaza as “illegal and dangerous,” stressing that they would lead to more forced displacement and increase the density of those areas, which are already crowded with displaced people.

Euro-Med said that the Israeli army issued on Wednesday morning new evacuation orders against tens of thousands of people, including displaced citizens, living in Blocks 129 and 130 in Al-Ma'hatta area and Dair El-Bala'h.

Euro-Med warned that Israel is insistent on expanding its attacks in Dair El-Bala'h, which is crowded with one million people, most of them already displaced from northern and southern Gaza.

Euro-Med reiterated its appeal to all countries to shoulder their responsibilities through imposing effective sanctions on Israel and ending all forms of political, financial and military support and cooperation provided for it.

PGMO: IOF is cramming 1.7 million civilians in one tenth of the area of the Gaza Strip

Wednesday 21-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza said, “the Israeli occupation army is deliberately strangling 1.7 million Palestinian civilians, cramming them into a narrow area that does not exceed one-tenth of the total area of the Gaza Strip.”

The PGMO confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) continue to commit the most horrific crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip, including the crime of forced displacement of more than 1,700,000 Palestinian civilians.

“The IOFs pushed the displaced Gazans to forcibly move and leave their homes and residential areas under the threat of gunfire, bombing and internationally prohibited weapons, which is a crime against humanity,” the GMO stated.

“This confirms, beyond any doubt, that the Israeli occupation army is deliberately strangling the Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip in a very narrow area that does not exceed a tenth of the area of the Gaza Strip,” it added.

The Office reviewed the sequence of the criminal terrorist Israeli occupation army’s record of displacement plans that has been pursued since early November 2023 to strangle the Gaza Strip.

The IOFs claimed that the southern region was a safe humanitarian zone with an area of 230 square kilometers, which was equivalent to 63% of the total area of the Gaza Strip, and included agricultural, service, commercial and economic lands, roads, and streets.

Since early November 2023, the IOFs have been reducing the area of the safe humanitarian zone gradually over the past months to reach only 36 square kilometers, representing 9.5% of the total area of the Gaza Strip, including agricultural lands, cemeteries, services, commercial and economic lands, roads, and streets.

The PGMO noted that the IOFs considers Gaza and North Gaza governorates as not among the safe humanitarian zones, despite the presence of 700,000 Palestinian civilians in these two provinces.

It condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli crime of forced displacement and held Israel and the US administration fully responsible for the catastrophic and dangerous repercussions of this ongoing crime, which aims to strangle civilians in the Gaza Strip, as well as to confine them in unlivable areas due to the absence of all aspects of normal life.

The PGMO also called on the international community, UN organizations, and all countries of the free world to pressure Israel and the US administration to stop the Israeli war of genocide and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip.

Gaza: UN warns of worsening humanitarian disaster

Wednesday 21-August-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric has warned that the severe fuel shortages in the Gaza Strip, especially in the north, are forcing hospitals to postpone vital surgeries and ambulances to stop.

“The already catastrophic situation in Gaza is worsening amid repeated waves of displacement, combined with overcrowding, insecurity, crumbling infrastructure, active hostilities and limited services,” spokesman Dujarric told journalists at the regular press briefing in New York on Tuesday.

“OCHA (the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) warns that the ongoing hostilities, constant evacuation orders, and severe shortages of essential supplies are making it increasingly difficult for displaced families to access basic services at their place of arrival,” Dujarric said.

He added that since October last year, 86 percent of the Gaza Strip has been placed under evacuation orders.

“As you may know, Gaza’s population is increasingly concentrated in a zone designated by Israeli authorities in Al-Mawasi, where Palestinians have been told to go,” he said, noting that according to OCHA, the density of the area has surged to between 30,000 and 34,000 people per square kilometer, compared to an estimated 1,200 people prior to the war.

OCHA had reported in a humanitarian bulletin on Tuesday that “severe shortages of fuel and medical supplies continue to disrupt the functionality of remaining hospitals and primary healthcare centers, particularly in northern Gaza.

It cited an announcement by the director of the Al Awda Hospital in northern Gaza that all surgeries had been postponed, saying that he appealed for urgent fuel supplies to avert further deaths at the facility.

“Conditions are equally critical at the Kamal Adwan Hospital, where fuel and medical supply shortages are reportedly threatening critical functions,” OCHA noted, adding that the UN World Health Organization (WHO) and its partners were working on getting fuel to these facilities.

Furthermore, on Sunday, the Palestine Red Crescent Society warned that its ambulances, emergency medical clinics and relief services could grind to a halt in northern Gaza due to a lack of fuel. Its teams are already operating at minimum capacity and only two out of eight ambulances are operational, it added.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 40,223 martyrs

Wednesday 21-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation army committed four massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 50 civilians and injuring over 124 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 174 of them, including 50 martyrs, were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 40,223 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 92,981 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 320

Wednesday 21-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 320 on Wednesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and shelter centers and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

According to media sources, civil defense and medical crews retrieved the body of photojournalist Mu'hammed Farajallah, who had been killed in an Israeli attack eight months ago as he was covering the work of rescue teams in northern Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army killed two citizens in different attacks in Khan Younus, including one on a motorcycle.

Two other citizens were martyred in an Israeli attack on Al-Mawasi and Al-Qarara areas, in Khan Younus.

The Israeli occupation army also killed a 13-year-old girl child in an artillery attack on her home in Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza.

Rescue and medical teams recovered bodies of four citizens, who had been martyred a few days ago at the Dawla junction in Al-Zaytoun refugee camp, south of the Gaza Strip.

Casualties, including martyrs, were reported after an Israeli warplane targeted a house belonging to the family of Abu Hadrous near 'Hamad City in western Khan Younus.

Bodies of four farmers were reportedly evacuated to a hospital following an Israeli attack in the northwest of Rafa'h, south of Gaza.

The Israeli army also killed a fisherman and injured another one after opening fire at them off the shores of Khan Younus in central Gaza.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

IOFs bulldoze dozens of dunums of Palestinian agricultural land in the town of Dair Istya

Wednesday 21-August-2024

SALFIT, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) escorted by bulldozers stormed the town of Dair Istya, west of Salfeet, and uprooted hundreds of olive and almond trees.

The settlement activist Nazmi Al-Salman reported that Israeli heavy vehicles bulldozed dozens of dunums and uprooted hundreds of trees in the “Al-Qa’dah” area, north of Dair Istya, on Tuesday.

He told WAFA news agency that the IOF bulldozing of the agricultural land caused damage to a number of water wells.

He explained that the targeted lands are located near a pastoral settlement outpost established by Jewish settlers last October, noting that the owners of the bulldozed agricultural lands have since then been prevented from accessing their lands.

Earlier, the mayor of Dair Istya, Firas Dthiyab, said that the settlers had completely taken control of a large part of the lands of Al-Qa’dah and other areas in the town.

According to a report by Human Rights Watch, settler attacks on Palestinian lands have led to the displacement of more than 1,200 Palestinians from 20 residential communities and led to the complete removal of at least seven other communities since the start of the genocidal war on Gaza.
