While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Hamas demands obliging Israel to bide by mediators’ proposal instead of new rounds of negotiations

Monday 12-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement asked the Egyptian and Qatari mediators to implement a ceasefire plan based on Biden’s vision and the Security Council resolution, instead of holding more negotiations.

In a statement on Sunday, Hamas called on the mediators “to submit a plan to implement what they presented to the Movement and approved on 2/7/2024, based on Biden’s vision and the Security Council resolution, and to oblige the Israeli occupation to do so, instead of going to more rounds of negotiations or new proposals that provide cover for the occupation’s aggression and give it more time to perpetuate the war of genocide against our people.”

'Hamas explained its position by stating, “We have held many rounds of negotiations, and we have provided all the necessary flexibility and positivity in order to achieve the goals and interests of our people, stop their bloodshed, and stop the genocide against them.”

The Movement noted that it provided flexibility “in a way that facilitates exchange of prisoners, relief for our people, the return of the displaced, and reconstruction.”

“In this context, Hamas agreed to the mediators’ proposal on May 6, 2024, and welcomed President Biden’s announcement on May 31, 2024, and the UN Security Council Resolution 2735,” Hamas added.

'Hamas pointed out that Israel met all that with rejection and ongoing massacres, which demonstrates that “it was not serious about a permanent ceasefire, and its aggressive practices were practical evidence of that.”

The statement also pointed out that Israel chose to escalate its aggression on Gaza and commit more massacres, that mounted to the assassination of the Hamas leader, the martyr Isma'eel Haniyya.

'Hamas highlighted that after the announcement of the tripartite statement, a heinous massacre was committed against the displaced people in the Al-Taabi’een School in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza while they were performing the dawn prayer on Saturday, August 10.

“In light of this, and out of concern and responsibility towards our people and their interests, the Movement calls on the mediators to submit a plan to implement what they presented to the Movement and approved on July 2, 2024, based on Biden’s vision and the Security Council resolution,” the statement concluded.

'Hamdan: We accepted the mediators’ proposals, and we are ready to implement them

Monday 12-August-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

'Hamas leader, Osama 'Hamdan, said on Sunday evening that the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle exposed the true image of the US and the West and their empty slogans, which only proved they were adopted in service of certain political interests.

Speaking to Al-Manar TV, 'Hamdan praised the work of the axis of resistance, saying “there is cohesion and good coordination in confronting the enemy.”

Hamdan pointed out that “the unanimous choice of the head of 'Hamas Movement is a strong message that Hamas has become stronger and more solid despite the severity of the blow it received by the assassination of its leader, Isma'eel Haniyya.”

He pointed out that who assumed the leadership of the Movement is the one who is leading the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, noting that the Movement is rallying around the option of resistance as a strategic option to liberate Palestine and restore the rights of the Palestinian people.

'Hamdan told Al-Manar, “We had accepted the proposals presented by the mediators, and we are willing to implement them immediately. It is no longer acceptable to give the enemy more time, which would not be accepted by the factions.”

Belgium slams Israeli call to cut aid to Palestinians

Monday 12-August-2024

BRUSSELS, (PIC)

Belgium’s development cooperation minister on Monday slammed Israel’s far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir for his statement about Palestinian civilians, and described what he suggested as a “war crime.”

“Denying humanitarian aid to civilians – children (!) – is a war crime,” Caroline Gennez wrote on X.

She also lashed out at the Israeli government for undermining the chances for a “peaceful solution” and “threatening” both the Palestinian and the Israeli populations’ safety.

Earlier on Sunday, Ben-Gvir called any cease-fire and prisoner swap deal with the Hamas Movement a “grave mistake.”

“If we cut off their fuel, within a week they would be on their knees. And if we stop the (aid) trucks, within two weeks they would be on their knees. So why are we going to do a deal, especially such an irresponsible deal?” he said.

Israel has launched a devastating offensive on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023. Nearly 39,897 Palestinians have since been killed, mostly women and children, and over 92,152 injured, according to local health authorities.

Borrell calls for Israeli ministers to face sanctions over “incitement to war crimes”

Monday 12-August-2024

BRUSSELS, (PIC)

The EU high representative for foreign affairs Josep Borrell called for sanctions to be imposed on two Israeli ministers, Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, for “incitement to war crimes.”

This came after the two far-right ministers of the Israeli coalition government said aid to Gaza should be blocked and claimed the starvation of two million people in the enclave could be justified.

“While the world pushes for a ceasefire in Gaza, Ben Gvir calls for cutting fuel and aid to civilians. Like Smotrich’s sinister statements, this is an incitement to war crimes,” Borrell said on X. “Sanctions must be on our EU agenda.”

He stressed the need to participate in good faith in the negotiations mediated by the United States, Qatar and Egypt in order to stop the war.

The Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir reiterated his call for starving the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and expelling them from the enclave, and reoccupy the Strip permanently.

In a press interview with Maariv newspaper, Ben Gvir demanded cutting off aid completely to Gaza, claiming that it would make 'Hamas surrender in just two weeks.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 39,897 martyrs

Monday 12-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 142 civilians and injuring over 150 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 39,897 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 92,152 people.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

IOFs kill a Palestinian teenager near Qalqilya

Monday 12-August-2024

QALQILIA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) shot and killed 18-year-old Tariq Ziad Abdul Ra'heem Dawood near the town of 'Azzoun, east of Qalqilya, the Palestinian health ministry said on Monday evening.

The General Authority for Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Ministry of Health of the killing of the teen Tariq Dawood by IOFs gunfire, saying that his body was upheld.

Local sources reported that the Israeli soldiers stationed in a military tower at the entrance of Azzun town opened fire at the vehicle in which Dawood was riding on his way into the town for allegedly carrying out a shooting operation in Qalqilya.

A Jewish settler was seriously injured in the alleged shooting.

Dawood was released in the prisoner exchange deal between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation last November.

Dawood was suspected of carrying out several shooting operations after his release. The IOFs raided his family’s home in Qalqilya more than once and arrested a number of his family members to pressure him to surrender himself.

IOFs raid different West Bank areas, kidnap Palestinians, amid settler attacks

Monday 12-August-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched last night a large-scale campaign in the West Bank, where they raided dozens of homes, kidnaped a number of citizens and clashed with local youths and resistance fighters.

Several citizens were also injured during this IOFs campaign, which continued into Monday morning.

According to local sources, Israeli troops stormed Jineen City at dawn and clashed with resistance fighters in its streets.

Eyewitnesses said that the IOFs entered Jenin City through Al-Nasira street and embarked on opening fire at local youths, injuring two of them.

They added that the IOFs kidnaped two citizens during raids on homes in Jenin and rampaged through a commercial store in the Old City.

Al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad said that a group of its fighters clashed with Israeli forces in different areas of Jenin City and detonated explosive devices at them.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Israeli forces stormed Al-Fawwar refugee camp last night and showered local residents with tear gas canisters.

Several citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the IOFs raid in Al-Fawwar refugee camp.

The IOFs reportedly kidnaped two citizens from their homes in Al-Fawwar refugee camp and Khursa village in al-Khalil province.

Israeli soldiers also broke into a house in Bait Ummar town, north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), and wreaked havoc on its furniture and contents, with no reported arrests.

In Qalqilya, the IOFs kidnaped a young man following raids on homes in 'Hajja village.

In Nablus, Israeli occupation forces stormed Madama village, blocked its entrances and raided several homes, amid tear gas attacks on local residents.

Local official 'Abdullah Ziyadah said that many citizens in Madama suffered from inhaling tear gas fumes.

Since yesterday, the IOFs has been besieging and raiding several Palestinian villages and hamlets in the northern Jordan Valley, where resistance fighters killed an illegal Israeli settler and injured another one in a shooting operation.

Meanwhile, a horde of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers physically attacked Palestinian citizens and foreign activists and tried to steal about 200 head of sheep as they were grazing in Al-Sakout area in the northern Jordan Valley.

Local activist Arif Daraghma said that the settlers assaulted the shepherds who own the herd and a number of foreign activists, who stood up for themselves and fended off the assailants.

Settlers also attacked a Palestinian home and stole nine head of sheep in Khirbet Al-'Hamma hamlet in the northern Jordan Valley.

Another horde of settlers escorted by soldiers threw stones at Palestinian cars at the entrance of Dair Ballout town, west of Salfit, causing damage to a number of them.

Since Israel started its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, armed settler groups have been carrying out attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property on a near-daily basis in the West Bank, including east Jerusalem and the Jordan Valley.

Violent settler attacks in the West Bank have displaced Palestinian families from 20 rural herding communities and uprooted at least seven communities since October 7, 2023, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said in a report last April, adding that the Israeli military either participated in those attacks or did not protect Palestinians from it.

“Settlers and soldiers have displaced entire Palestinian communities, destroying every home, with the apparent backing of higher Israeli authorities,” Bill Van Esveld, associate children’s rights director at HRW, said in the report.

“While the attention of the world is focused on Gaza, abuses in the West Bank, fueled by decades of impunity and complacency among Israel’s allies, are soaring,” he added.

IOAR to seize 14 Palestinian dunums west of Salfeet

Monday 12-August-2024

SALFIT, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) issued on Monday land confiscation notices to seize 14 dunums of the towns of 'Haris and Qarawat Bani 'Hasan, west of Salfeet.

The activist in the field of settlement, Nazmi Al-Salman, stated that the IOAR handed over a military order to confiscate the aforementioned area of the Bardoun basin in Qarawa Bani Hassan and Al-Buraiji land in 'Haris.

The confiscation order remains valid for four years until 2028, and citizens can object within a period of only 7 days, he added.

This decision comes in favor of a nearby Jewish-only settlement, which is illegally established east of Qarawat Bani 'Hasan, and has been witnessing construction works in recent months.

The settlement housing units can be seen along the right side of the main street that connects the western towns of Salfeet Governorate.

Illegal Israeli settlers plant trees in Palestinian lands near Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY,  Monday, August 12, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers began on Monday planting olive trees along citizens' lands in the village of 'Ain Al-Baida in the northern Jordan Valley.

Local sources said that a group of colonists began planting olive trees this morning near Road 90 and along private lands belonging to citizens from the village of 'Ain al-Baida.

Palestinian villagers fear that this is a prelude to seizing their lands in the area, as colonists are adopting this method to seize and take over many areas of the Jordan Valley, then expand and seize all the surrounding lands of citizens.

Most areas of the northern Jordan Valley are seeing escalating violations by colonists, which include attacking citizens' homes and assaulting them, in addition to chasing shepherds and preventing them from entering pastures, seizing their lands and preventing them from entering them by planting them or establishing agricultural and pastoral centers in them.

Since yesterday, the occupation forces have imposed a tight military cordon on the villages of the northern Jordan Valley, while many of them saw raids, combing and searching operations, under the pretext of searching for the perpetrator of the shooting attack in the Jordan Valley that resulted in the killing of a colonist.

These forces also tightened military measures at Tayaseer and 'Hamra military checkpoints, which led to obstructing the movement of Palestinian citizens.

Israeli occupation forces Monday stormed the towns of 'Anata and Al-'Eisawiya, north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), and Shu'fat refugee camp, distributed demolition orders and took measurements of homes and left leaflets threatening citizens.

Local sources in Shu'fat camp reported that large forces of the occupation police and members of the occupation municipality stormed a number of buildings in the camp and issued demolition notices for a number of buildings, under the pretext of building without a permit, and took measurements of several homes in order to impose taxes on them.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces stormed the town of Al-'Eisawiya, north of occupied Jerusalem, and distributed warning leaflets to citizens, urging them not to confront the occupation forces during detention operations, and threatened to detain the town's residents.
