While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

'Hamas: The Israeli killing of journalists aims to silence free voices

Friday 9-August-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement condemned on Friday the Israeli killing of the Palestinian journalists Tameem Mu'ammar and 'Abdullah Al-Sousi, along with a number of their family members, in two airstrikes in Khan Younus.

“This is a new crime added to the long series of crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian journalists,” the Movement said in a statement.

“The occupation aims to silence the voice of the free press and prevent it from performing its professional and humanitarian duty in covering its genocide crime and ethnic cleansing that have been ongoing for more than ten months against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip,” it said.

The Movement pointed out that the Israeli occupation killed about 166 journalists prior to today’s crime of killing the two journalists Mu'ammar and Al-Sousi.

Hamas called on the international community, the United Nations and its institutions to “take effective action to compel the criminal occupation to stop its deliberate targeting of journalists, and to take measures to hold its fascist leaders accountable for their ongoing crimes.”

Earlier Friday, Israeli warplanes targeted the homes of journalists Tameem Mu'ammar and 'Abdullah Al-Sousi in two separate airstrikes in Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip, killing both of them along with a number of their children and relatives.

This brings the total number of journalists killed in Gaza since October 7 to at least 167, according to figures by the Government Media Office in Gaza.

UNRWA: Israel killed 205 aid workers in Gaza

Friday 9-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed on Friday that 205 aid workers have been killed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) in Gaza since October 7.

In a statement, the UN agency reported that the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza have resulted in “civilian casualties, displacement of people and the destruction of residential structures and public infrastructure.”

“As of 7 August, the total number of UNRWA colleagues killed since 7 October is 205,” said the agency

UNRWA also highlighted that “up to 1.9 million people (or nine in ten people) across the Gaza Strip are internally displaced, including people who have been repeatedly displaced (some up to 10 times).”

The health system remains “barely functional, with 90 hospitals and primary health care centers not functioning,” according to the agency.

UNRWA also noted that it remains a “major actor in the health sector, providing health services across 10 primary health centers and up to 100 mobile medical points across the Gaza Strip.”

Ben Gvir extends ban on visits to Palestinian prisoners

Friday 9-August-2024

NAZARETH, (PIC)

The extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, has extended his visit ban order against Palestinian prisoners for the tenth consecutive month since October 7, 2023, according to the Israeli Maariv newspaper.

Maariv revealed on Friday that since the beginning of the war, Palestinian prisoners have not been visited at all, which comes as part of the Israeli policy of tightening restrictions on the Palestinian captives in Israeli prisons.

Ben Gvir had previously ordered imposing tightened restrictions on Palestinian prisoners by pursuing several punitive measures that included depriving them of adequate food and other basic needs, and repeatedly dispersing them between prisons, and following procedures of repression and torture against them.

Palestinian prisoner organizations, institutions and lawyers say that Ben Gvir’s orders have exacerbated the already worsening detention conditions in Israeli prisons, including cutting off water and electricity, reducing the time allocated for the use of toilets, and banning prisoners from taking showers, which all have led to the spread of diseases, especially skin infections.

WHO: Field hospitals in Gaza are no longer functional

Friday 9-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

WHO spokesperson Margaret Harris said many field hospitals in the Gaza Strip are no longer functional.

In press statements on Thursday evening, Harris added that medical teams are moving with great difficulty in Gaza due to the bombardment and are exposed to grave risks.

She explained that the UN organization is working under extremely difficult conditions in the Gaza Strip, whereas the violence it faces makes it difficult to perform its mission.

“We only have 20 emergency teams of volunteers from around the world working in Gaza, and this number is not enough in light of the circumstances the Strip is experiencing,” she elaborated.

Harris stressed that the health system in the Gaza Strip is witnessing unprecedented conditions, affecting health sector workers, and medical teams who are greatly affected by such pressure as well as by the Israeli relentless airstrikes targeting places where civilians receive treatment, which necessitates exerting extremely exhausting efforts.

She pointed out that there are only three hospitals operating partially in the Strip, and they need more oxygen and medical supplies to continue their work for the sake of providing first aid to the most critical cases.

The WHO spokeswoman indicated that the health system in the Strip faces many restrictions and ongoing bombing and shelling, which has completely knocked most hospitals out of service.

According to the Government Media Office in Gaza (GMO), the Israeli occupation army has knocked out 34 out of 36 hospitals out of service due to the Israeli direct targeting of health facilities.

The GMO Director, Isma'eel Al-Thawabtah, condemned the Israeli occupation army’s bombing of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital on Thursday evening, stressing that it aims at completely taking the entire health system out of service in the Gaza Strip by destroying it through direct targeting.

Al-Thawabtah said the Israeli occupation army has targeted Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for the fourth time in a row, noting that it is the only government hospital operating in the Gaza Strip and is serving more than one million people.

He held the US administration responsible for the continuation of the Israeli war of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

He further pointed out that the Israeli occupation army has been banning more than 25,000 sick and wounded Palestinians in Gaza from travelling abroad for treatment.

UN reports 60,000 Palestinians displaced in Gaza following latest evacuation order

NEW YORK, Saturday, August 10, 2024 (WAFA) -

The United Nations has announced that at least 60,000 Palestinians have been displaced to the western areas of the Gaza Strip following a recent evacuation order issued by the Israeli occupation military.

Florencia Soto from the UN Secretary-General’s spokesperson office provided an update on the humanitarian situation in Gaza during a press conference, according to Anadolu Agency.

Soto stated that estimates suggest over 80% of Gaza has been under Israeli evacuation orders since October of last year.

On Thursday, the Israeli occupation military instructed residents in new areas of Khan Younus, located in southern Gaza, to evacuate forcibly in preparation for a new attack.

This followed a devastating assault on areas previously deemed "safe" east of the city, which resulted in 255 civilians killed and extensive destruction.

Soto also highlighted a significant decrease in the amount of aid reaching Gaza, which has dropped by more than half since early May, following the closure of the Rafa'h border crossing.

In April, an average of 169 trucks delivered aid to Gaza daily, but this number fell to fewer than 80 trucks in June and July 2024.

The UN official emphasized that Israel continues to refuse and obstruct humanitarian aid convoys to Gaza.

GAZA, Saturday, August 11, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, resulting in the killing of at least 40 Palestinians and the injury of 140 others, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza affirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to 39,790 reported fatalities, with an additional 91,902 (not 91,702, which should be a typo) individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

According to the same sources, emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.

Over 100 Palestinians in Gaza massacred, dozens injured in Israeli attack on school

Saturday 10-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

More than 100 Palestinians were massacred and dozens were wounded in an Israeli missile attack on a school sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza City, at dawn Saturday.

According to Gaza’s civil defense service, the Israeli occupation army bombed Al-Tabi'een School in Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City with three missiles, killing about 90 percent of the civilians sheltering inside it.

The civil defense service said that the attack happened as many people were performing the Fajr (dawn) prayer inside the school, describing it as a “horrific massacre,” with some bodies catching fire.

Rescue teams were unable to help those trapped by the flames as the Israeli army has cut off water supplies to the area.

Images coming from the school immediately after the strike have showed hundreds of bodies on the ground, while many of them are in pieces.

According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, the attack happened when people sheltering at the school were performing dawn prayers, leading to many casualties,

“This clearly comes within the framework of the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing against our Palestinian people.”

As always, the Israeli army justified the massacre by claiming that the school was being used as a “'Hamas headquarters” and that it took measures to reduce civilian casualties.

Following all the previous massacres it had committed at Gaza’s schools and hospitals, Israel never presented any evidence to the international community to prove its claims.

Four Palestinian women and one child injured in an illegal Israeli settler attack in the West Bank

Saturday 10-August-2024

NABLUS, (PIC)

Four Palestinian women and one child were injured on Friday evening when a horde of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers attacked them near Nablus City in the occupied West Bank.

According to the Hebrew media, settlers showered a car carrying four women and a two-year-old girl child with stones and injured them after they mistakenly entered an area near an illegal settlement outpost in the south of Nablus.

The child and women suffered different injuries in the settler attack and were transferred to a hospital after they fled the area on foot.

According to Israel’s Kan news agency, the five victims are residents of the Arab town of Rahat in southern Israel and were on their way to the Palestinian City of Nablus.

Naufah, one of the women who were attacked, told journalists that their navigation application had led them astray.

“We accidentally went into some place and then settlers started running after the car, throwing rocks,” she said. “After they broke all the windows they sprayed tear gas.”

She said one of the attackers put his gun to the infant’s head and ordered them to get out of the car before they escaped the area.

The incident occurred at Givat Ronen, a small hilltop outpost in the northern West Bank near the village of Bureen.
