While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

A grave danger lurks in Al-Aqsa Mosque by calls from illegal Israeli Jewish settler groups to storm the Mosque in the coming days

Tuesday 9-April-2024

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)

The Islamic Movement in Occupied Jerusalem has warned that a grave danger lurks in Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling for the continuation of frequenting the holy site and staying in it, especially amid the ongoing calls from illegal Israeli Jewish settler groups to storm the Mosque in the coming days.

In a statement, the Movement stressed the necessity of “continuing the mobilization, rallies, visits and staying at Al-Aqsa Mosque during the following days and weeks which are going to witness a wave of Jewish events and holidays.”

'Eid Al-Fitr comes this year while the Palestinian people are losing tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and prisoners, and millions of our people (Gaza Strip) have been suffering in shelter and displacement camps, under bombardment for more than half a year,” the statement highlighted.

The Movement saluted the thousands who “answered the call and marched towards Al-Aqsa Mosque chanting slogans in support of the Mosque and Gaza despite Israeli threats.”

It also praised the initiative of the Jerusalemite families and various authorities which calls for this year’s 'Eid celebrations to be limited to performing the Eid prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque, paying family visitations, and sharing only coffee and dates without any manifestation of decoration or joy in solidarity with Gaza.”

The Islamic Movement urged Palestinians to visit the families of the martyrs, detainees and displaced in Jerusalem in solidarity with them.

In conjunction with the Israeli brutal genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and Al-Aqsa Mosque have been subjected to strict Israeli measures amid ongoing raid and arrest campaigns against Maqdisis (Jerusalemites), storming their homes and confiscating their property.

UNICEF spokesperson: Gaza is on the verge of famine

ISTANBUL, Tuesday, April 9, 2024 (WAFA) –

James Elder, spokesperson for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), has stated that Gaza, home to 2.3 million Palestinians, is "on the brink of destruction and famine."

Elder explained to Anadolu Agency that "Palestinians are struggling to survive under extremely harsh conditions."

He added, "There was great hope for a ceasefire following the resolution of the United Nations Security Council, and everywhere I went in Gaza, ceasefire was the most common plea people made, they begged for it. So, there was hope, but that hope was crushed by the sound of bombs."

Elder said that Israeli warplanes carried out strikes on the city of Rafa'h, which had previously been declared a safe zone, just two days after the UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire.

He continued, "I was at a hospital in Rafa'h and there were children with serious injuries due to the bombardment, despite the ceasefire resolution, the bombing continues incessantly throughout the day."

He added, "This resolution must be implemented, we need to ensure a ceasefire so that children and families who have endured this pain for several months know that they will indeed be able to wake up in the morning."

Human Rights Watch: Israeli blockade causing starvation-related deaths in Gaza

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Tuesday, April 9, 2024 (WAFA) –

Human Rights Watch stated today that children in Gaza are dying due to complications related to starvation since the Israeli occupation began using starvation as a weapon of war, which constitutes a war crime.

'Omar Shakir, Palestine and Israel Director at Human Rights Watch, emphasized, "Israel's use of starvation as a weapon of war is killing children in Gaza." He demanded Israel to end this war crime, stop this suffering, and allow humanitarian aid to reach all parts of Gaza without obstacles.

The organization stressed that children, as well as pregnant and lactating mothers, suffer from severe malnutrition and dehydration, and hospitals are not equipped to treat them.

HRW called on relevant governments to impose targeted sanctions and suspend arms transfers to pressure the Israeli government to ensure that the people of Gaza receive humanitarian aid and basic services, in accordance with Israel's obligations under international law and the recent ruling by the International Court of Justice in the genocide case brought by South Africa.

The organization pointed out that the continuation of Israeli airstrikes and ground operations, the lack of security guarantees from Israel, the extensive damage to infrastructure, and the disruption of communications make it difficult to distribute the limited aid that reaches Gaza.

Family of the Palestinian Political Prisoner Waleed Daqqa says the Israeli regime continues to hold his body

Monday 8-April-2024

BAQA AL-GHARBIYYA, (PIC)

The brother of the martyred Palestinian political prisoner Waleed Daqqa, Asa'ad Daqqa, stated that the Israeli occupation regime are punishing the family by holding Waleed’s body.

He went on to say that Waleed’s body will only be released if Itamar Ben Gvir, the radical Israeli Minister of National Security, makes the decision.

In an attempt to punish the family, Daqqa clarified in a press conference on Monday that Waleed’s body is being withheld even after his martyrdom. He noted that Ibn Gvir must now make a decision on the matter.

He declared that there is no legal basis for keeping Waleed’s body in the Forensic Medicine Institute in “Abu Kabeer”.

“The problem did not end with the body being withheld. Instead, the occupation required the family to forbid gatherings, refuse to accept mourners, and refrain from setting up a funeral home for Waleed.”

He emphasized that the family only found out about Waleed’s martyrdom through the media and the hospital, not through an official notification from the occupation authorities.

Asa'ad urged official leaders, human rights organizations, and humanitarian groups worldwide to work toward Waleed’s body’s release. He continued, saying, “We hoped that the deal would be to release Walid alive, and now we hope that there will be no deal without the release of his body.”

Imprisoned Palestinian novelist and activist Waleed Daqqa, who was suffering from cancer, has died in Israel’s Shamir Medical Center on Sunday.

Daqqa was from Baqa Al-Gharbiyya, a predominantly Palestinian city, within the Palestinian territory which was supposed to be part of the Arab State of Palestine, according to the 1947 UN Partition Resolution, and had served for 38 years in Israeli prisons. He died as a result of the “slow killing” policy carried out against ill prisoners by the Israeli prison administration.

'Hamas: We are studying the new Cairo proposal over Gaza permanent ceasefire agreement

Tuesday 9-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said the last Israeli ceasefire proposal it received from Qatari and Egyptian mediators did not meet any of the demands already submitted by the Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip.

However, the Movement said on Tuesday that it would study the proposal, which it described as “intransigent,” and deliver its response to mediators at the Cairo talks, reiterating its keenness on reaching a deal ending the Israeli aggression against its people.

According to media sources, the three-stage proposal would halt fighting for six weeks to facilitate an exchange of captives held by the resistance for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and detention centers.

The proposal calls for a deal that allows the return of unarmed displaced civilians to northern Gaza, without specifying their numbers. It also includes the Israeli occupation army’s withdrawal from Al-Rasheed and Salahuddeen streets and the relocation of its troops to a nearby area, which is only 500 meters away from the streets.

At the first stage of the deal, if accepted, 500 aid trucks (daily?)will be allowed into all areas of the Gaza Strip, while Israel will release 900 prisoners, including 100 serving life sentences in exchange for 40 Israeli detainees.

The deal’s second stage is said to include the release of all Israeli captives as a prelude to finalizing talks for a permanent ceasefire agreement.

However, the proposal did not include the number of the Palestinian prisoners that should be released at the second stage or any reference to the Israeli army’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

At the third stage, the resistance is demanded to release the bodies of Israeli prisoners killed during the war in Gaza, according to the proposal.

In this regard, a senior 'Hamas official accused the Israelis of persisting in putting obstacles in the way of reaching a ceasefire agreement over Gaza.

The 'Hamas official explained that the Israeli response in the Cairo negotiations called for the return of displaced civilians to shelter camps set up by international organizations and not to their areas and homes.

Such return of displaced citizens, according to the Israeli response, is unsafe and takes place through Israeli-controlled checkpoints, while 'Hamas insists on their return to their areas without any restrictions, the official added.

He also highlighted that the new proposal does not include a permanent ceasefire or the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.

Germany faces Gaza genocide case at International Court of Justice

Monday 8-April-2024

THE HAGUE, (PIC)

Germany faced charges from Nicaragua at the top UN court on Monday, April 8, 2024, that it is “facilitating the commission of genocide” against the Palestinian population in Gaza Strip, with its military and political support for Israel.

Nicaragua has hauled Germany before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), demanding judges impose emergency measures to stop Berlin providing Israel with weapons and other assistance.

“Germany has violated neither the Genocide Convention nor international humanitarian law and we will demonstrate this in full before the International Court of Justice,” added Fischer.

Nicaragua set out its case on Monday, with Germany due to respond the following day.

In a 43-page submission to the court, Nicaragua said that Germany is in breach of the 1948 United Nations Genocide Convention, set up in the wake of the Holocaust.

“By sending military equipment and now defunding UNRWA (UN agency for Palestinian refugees)… Germany is facilitating the commission of genocide,” says the submission.

“Germany’s failure is all the more reprehensible with respect to Israel given that Germany has a self-proclaimed privileged relationship with it, which would enable it to usefully influence its conduct,” added Nicaragua.

Nicaragua asked the ICJ to decide “provisional measures” — emergency orders imposed while the court considers the broader case.

It is “imperative and urgent” the court orders such measures given that the lives of “hundreds of thousands of people” are at stake, runs the Nicaraguan case.

In a separate case, South Africa has accused Israel of perpetrating genocide in the Gaza Strip and filed a case against it at the ICJ.

The Israeli occupation regime pursues deterrence and revenge policy against Palestinian women political prisoners

Detainees Commission: IOA pursues deterrence and revenge policy against Palestinian women

Monday 8-April-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said on Sunday that storming the homes of Palestinian political prisoner women released from Israeli prisons has become a daily routine Israeli policy in the West Bank.

“The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) pursues deterrence and revenge policy against Palestinian women through arrest, beating and humiliation, and deliberate intimidation as well as vandalizing their homes,” the Detainees Commission added in a statement.

The statement condemned the Israeli violations against Palestinian women, referring to the recent arrest of two freed women, Layan Kayid and Layan Nasir, who are students at Beer Zait University, after Israeli occupation forces had stormed the city of Ramallah and the town of Beer Zait to the north.

It also pointed out that the past few days have witnessed a clear escalation in the arrest of Palestinian women because of punitive and retaliatory tendencies, or for taking them as hostages to pressure on their wanted relatives.

The Commission called on local and international feminist organizations to raise their voices for the protection of Palestinian women against targeting, persecution, and arrest.

This brings the total number of women detained in Israeli detention centers to 81, the majority of whom are in the Damon prison where they are languishing under tragic conditions.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 33,360 martyrs

Tuesday 9-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said on Tuesday that 153 martyrs and 60 wounded civilians were transported to hospitals during the past 24 hours, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 33,360 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 75,993 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by the 'Hamas armed wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 186

Tuesday 9-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 186 on Tuesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring scores of citizens.

According to media sources, civil defense workers and volunteers recovered bodies of at least 409 martyrs after the Israeli army withdrew from Al-Shifa Hospital, its nearby neighborhoods (northern Gaza) and Khan Yunis (southern Gaza).

Meanwhile, one citizen was killed and others were injured when the Israeli army targeted volunteers charged with organizing aid deliveries in the southeast of Gaza City.

An Israeli warplane also bombed Al-Tannour neighborhood in eastern Rafa'h, killing a citizen and injuring others, while another citizen was killed and 20 others were injured in another aerial attack on a house in Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza.

PGMO condemns Israel’s assassination of Al-Maghazi mayor in Gaza

Tuesday 9-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (GMO) in the Gaza Strip has strongly denounced the Israeli assassination of Al-Maghazi mayor Hatim Al-Ghamri, calling it a “war crime aimed at increasing the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.”

In a statement on Tuesday, the PGMO mourned martyr Ghamri, describing him as a public service official who had assumed his national duties to the fullest and provided services for the citizens in Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza from the first day of the genocidal war on his people.

The PGMO said that the Israeli occupation army committed a cowardly act when it bombed, with no prior warning, the building of the joint services council, killing mayor Ghamri along with a group of civilians.

The PGMO called on the world’s municipalities to condemn Israel’s crime against mayor Ghamri, and held the US administration and the international community fully responsible for his death due to the green light they provide for Israel’s atrocities in Gaza.

On Monday evening, the Israeli army bombed a building in al-Maghazi camp, killing mayor 'Hatim Al-Ghamri and four civilians and injuring others.

Over 400 bodies of slain Palestinians recovered in Gaza City and Khan Younus

GAZA, Tuesday, April 9, 2024 (WAFA) –

The bodies of 409 martyrs—some of them decomposed—have so far been recovered by civil defense teams from the Al-Shifa Medical Complex and its surroundings in Gaza City, as well as in Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip, in the aftermath of the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from both areas.

Civil defense teams reported that the recovery efforts are ongoing at the moment to retrieve the bodies of potential victims in both areas, where Israeli troops pulled out in recent days after several weeks of deadly ground attacks.

They urged the international community to provide and introduce specialized equipment and machinery to assist in retrieving the bodies of victims from under the rubble of destroyed homes.

This comes in light of the large number of reports received by the teams from local families about the disappearance of their sons during the presence of the occupation forces, with dozens of bodies still buried under the rubble.

IOFs kidnap several Palestinians during West Bank raids

Tuesday 9-April-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnaped last night and at dawn Tuesday a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank, amid clashes in some areas.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home in the east of Nablus City, while another young man suffered a bullet injury during clashes between local youths and Israeli forces in the same area.

Earlier, a large number of Israeli occupation soldiers stormed Balata refugee camp and the eastern area of Nablus City, laid tight siege to the camp and bulldozed road barriers at its main entrance.

The IOFs also bulldozed roads and infrastructure in the camp’s streets, raided homes and interrogated local residents.

Local sources said that one Israeli occupation soldier was injured when resistance fighters opened fire and detonated explosive devices at Israeli forces in Nablus, without stating if the armed clashes happened in the city or Balata camp.

In Qalqilya, the IOFs raided several homes and facilities in Jayyous town, confiscated security camera recordings and set up multiple checkpoints in and around it.

The IOFs also closed some roads with mounds of dirt and rocks around the town and intercepted Palestinian vehicles at makeshift checkpoints at the pretext of looking for the Palestinian who carried out a shooting attack on an Israeli bus last Sunday.

In Toulkarm, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city, patrolled its streets and raided homes around Thabit Thabit Hospital, while resistance fighters showered them with a hail of bullets in different areas.

At least seven citizens, including a father and his two sons, were kidnaped by the IOF from different areas of Toulkarm.

The IOFs also wreaked havoc on vegetable stands in the Shuwaika suburb of Toulkarm.

In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation soldiers kidnaped one citizen after ransacking his home in Al-Am’ari refugee camp.

Local sources said that IOFs soldiers opened fire, with no reason, at vehicles and a commercial store during its campaign in the camp.

In Aree'ha (Jericho), the Israeli occupation soldiers kidnaped three young men, residents of 'Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, during their presence on Road 90 in the east of the city.

Eyewitnesses reported that one of the soldiers opened fire at those young men and injured one of them.

The IOF also kidnaped one citizen form his home in Al-'Arroub refugee camp in al-Khalil and another one after assaulting him during a violent raid on his home in Al-Masara village in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).
