While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Griffiths calls Gaza war “betrayal of humanity”

Sunday 7-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Israel’s war against the entire Palestinian population in Gaza Strip has escalated into a “betrayal of humanity,” the UN humanitarian chief said on Saturday.

This came in a statement made by Martin Griffiths, the outgoing under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs and emergency relief, on the eve of the six-month anniversary of the war.

“It is not enough for six months of war to be a moment of remembrance and mourning – it must also spur a collective determination that there be a reckoning for this betrayal of humanity,” Griffiths said.

“Each day, this war claims more civilian victims. Every second that it continues sows the seeds of a future so deeply obscured by this relentless conflict,” he added.

“For the people of Gaza, the past six months of war have brought death, devastation and now the immediate prospect of a shameful man-made famine,” he underlined.

'Hamas denies talks progress, due to  Israel’s “intransigence”

Monday 8-April-2024

CAIRO, (PIC)

A senior 'Hamas official in Gaza denied progress in Cairo talks, telling Al-Jazeera news network that “so far there is no progress” and blaming Israel’s “intransigence.”

The official also affirmed that the Hamas delegation has left Cairo on Monday for consultations.

This came after the Egyptian media outlet Al-Qahira reported early Monday, citing a senior Egyptian official involved in the talks, that talks in Cairo have made “significant progress on several contentious points of agreement.”

The state-linked Al-Qahira reported that Qatari and Hamas delegations had left Cairo and were expected to return “within two days to finalize the terms of the agreement.”

In a statement issued Sunday evening, the Hamas Movement said its delegation had arrived in Cairo and met with Egypt’s Minister of Intelligence in Cairo 'Abbas Kamil.

During the meeting, Hamas reiterated the demands the Movement issued in a March 14 proposal prior to a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip that was passed on March 25.

The demands include a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, a return of the displaced, and an exchange of Palestinian prisoners for Israeli captives being held in Gaza, the statement said.

The Movement also demanded relief for the Palestinian people and to begin reconstruction of the besieged Strip.

Since October 7, the Israeli occupation launched a massive aggression on the Gaza Strip, totally destroying residential neighborhoods, hospitals, buildings, towers, and civilian homes over the heads of their residents, amid total restrictions on water, food, medicine, and fuel supplies.

By April 7, 2024, more than 33,175 Palestinians were killed and 75,886 others were injured, during the ongoing genocide.

GMO questions Israeli withdrawal from Khan Younus

Monday 8-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The government media office (GMO) questioned in a statement issued Sunday the Israeli occupation’s intentions regarding withdrawal from Khan Younus.

What is happening on the ground is different from what the occupation declares to the media, the statement reads.

The occupation closes all Gaza crossings and does not allow aid to enter, it pointed out.

Earlier Saturday, Al-Qassam Brigades declared the death of 14 Israeli occupation soldiers in Khan Younus clashes.

The Israeli occupation army was forced to end its operations before achieving its goals, the Brigades said.

“Every time the occupation army returned to areas where it was supposed to find no resistance, it was surprised by violent and qualitative resistance.”

Terminally ill Palestinian prisoner Waleed Daqqa dies in Israeli custody

Monday 8-April-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Imprisoned Palestinian novelist and political activist Waleed Daqqa, who was suffering from cancer, has died in Israel’s Shamir Medical Center, according to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs on Sunday.

Daqqa was from Baqa Al-Gharbiyya, a predominantly Palestinian city within the Palestinian territory occupied in 1948, and had served for 38 years in Israeli prisons, the commission added, before saying that he had died as a result of a “slow killing” policy carried out against ill prisoners by the Israeli prison administration.

Daqqa is one of the most prominent and longtime Palestinian prisoners in Israeli custody. He was arrested by Israel in 1986 for killing an Israeli soldier and has remained in prison since then. While in jail, he wrote several books, including a children’s story.

In 1999, he also got married while behind bars. Along with his wife, Sana Salama, he welcomed a daughter – Milad – in 2020, conceived after his sperm was smuggled out of prison.

In 2022, Daqqa was diagnosed with myelofibrosis – a rare form of bone marrow cancer that disrupts the body’s normal production of blood cells. Rights groups began pressuring Israel to release him on medical grounds.

Last year, Addhameer, a rights group that supports Palestinian prisoners, said that Daqqa was in “dire need of urgent medical attention”, accused Israeli authorities of denying him the treatment he was prescribed, and called for his “immediate release”.

But Israel refused to free him from prison early, setting his release date for 2025.

Hamas Movement said that it was renewing its “covenant with the prisoners until they gain freedom”, following the news of his martyrdom.

In a statement, Hamas mourned Daqqa and noted that “he died of deliberate medical negligence in the occupation prisons.”
