While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Haniyya: Liberating Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) is a historical inevitability

Thursday 4-April-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

Head of the Hamas political bureau Isma'eel Haniyya has stressed the need for the formation of a Palestinian popular front capable of confronting Israel and those supporting it, putting an end to the aggression against the Gaza Strip, and backing the battle for liberation across Palestine.

“Al-Aqsa Flood battle has given hope that liberating Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and purging it from the invaders is a historical inevitability, a Qur’anic verse and men’s covenant with Allah Almighty,” Haniyya said on Wednesday in a speech on the occasion of the International Quds Day.

“The International Quds Day takes place this year in the midst of the great battle of Al-Aqsa Flood and while our Jerusalem is caught between pain and hope and facing the most unjust and painful stages of its history due to the all-out Zionist aggression against its Islamic and Christian holy sites, its Jerusalemite people and its human heritage,” Haniyya underlined.

Haniyya expressed his belief that “Al-Aqsa Flood battle removed all the masks from the faces disguised by the false peace and showed the true nature of the Zionist entity.”

“For over 100 years, our people have been making the greatest sacrifices in order to regain their freedom and remove the Zionist occupation from their land,” the Hamas leader said.

“The savageness of the Zionist enemy that we see today is the result of its realization that it is unable to remain a usurping and occupying power in the face of the steadfast Palestinian people who refuse the idea of surrendering and giving up Palestine,” he added.

'Hamas: Preventing UNRWA aid in northern Gaza a continuation of the Israeli fascist war of starvation

Wednesday 3-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said on Wednesday that the UNRWA announcement that the Israeli occupation army continues to prevent the agency’s teams from reaching northern Gaza to provide humanitarian aid to Palestinians indicates Israel’s insistence on continuing its fascist war of starvation against Palestinian civilians.

The 'Hamas Movement confirmed in a statement that the policy of preventing aid delivery and the systematic targeting of all means of providing relief to Gaza aims at punishing the Palestinian people by forcing them to leave their land under the burden of famine and continuing massacres.

'Hamas called on the international community and the United Nations to take urgent action and put pressure on the criminal Israeli entity to stop using starvation as a weapon, preventing aid delivery, and targeting aid workers.

The Movement stressed the need to deter the Israeli occupation army from targeting UNRWA, and to take actual measures to hold it accountable for its ongoing crimes against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip contrary to all values of humanity.

Doctor at Israeli field hospital reveals horrors against Gazan detainees

Thursday 4-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

A doctor at the Israeli occupation regime field hospital set up at the Sde Teiman detention center to hold detained Gazans described conditions that he said could compromise the inmates’ health and put the government at risk of violating the law, Haaretz Hebrew newspaper revealed.

‘Two prisoners had their legs amputated due to handcuff injuries,’ said the doctor who described deplorable conditions and violations of medical ethics and the law in a letter sent last week to Israel’s defense minister, health minister, and attorney general.

The physician reported that two prisoners had their legs amputated just this past week alone as a result of handcuff-related injuries. “Unfortunately, this has become a routine occurrence,” the physician said.

Regarding prisoner feeding, the physician disclosed that it is done in an abusive manner within the field hospital. In addition to being made to urinate in diapers, the detainees’ hands are constantly handcuffed, which is against both medical and legal regulations.

In his letter, the doctor detailed how, ever since the field hospital opened its doors, he has had to deal with challenging moral decisions. He cautioned that the nature of the hospital’s operations does not align with any health-related department’s legal guidelines for the detention of illegal combatants because the facility lacks a regular supply of medical supplies and medications.

The physician also mentioned in his letter that the detainees in the field hospital are handcuffed and blindfolded around the clock.

Abu Saada calls for a probe into the destruction of Al-Shifa Medical Complex

Wednesday 3-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Dr. Marwan Abu Sa'da, appealed to the international community, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations to open an official inquiry into the systematic comprehensive destruction of the facilities of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, especially Al-Shifa Medical Complex, and targeting health personnel.

In a press conference on Tuesday, Abu Sa'da called for the establishment of an urgent field hospital in order to treat the wounded with a minimum capacity of 180 beds, given that there is no hospital in Gaza capable of providing the health services that were offered at Al-Shifa Complex.

“Today we witness the horrific scene of the destruction of the largest medical complex in Palestine and the Gaza Strip: Al-Shifa Medical Complex,” Abu Sa'da said.

He explained, “The complex has a capacity of seven hundred and fifty beds, with more than twenty-six operating rooms. The number of people visiting this complex annually for emergency rooms exceeds a quarter of a million people, with seventeen thousand operations performed annually.”

“Now, after this terrible and devastating siege of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, we announce that it has become out of service forever because of the massive destruction in its facilities and equipment, and the killing of its medical personnel,” he said.

Abu Saada mourned the director of the maintenance department at Al-Shifa Complex, Engineer Bahaa Al-Keelani, the director of the pharmacy department, Zahir Al-Nono, and one of the martyrs of the medical personnel who was killed in the vicinity of the Complex along with his mother.

“The specialized surgical building was bombed entirely and systematically destroyed. We only have Kamal 'Idwan Hospital left in northern Gaza areas,” he highlighted.

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

Since Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning, Israeli occupation forces have arrested at least 30 Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, including journalist Asmaa 'Harb and the mother of the martyr A'hmed Hilal Gheetan, in addition to former prisoners.

The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners Society said in a joint statement on Wednesday that “arrest campaigns focused on the governorates of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and Ramallah, while the rest of the arrests were distributed in the governorates of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Toubas, Jineen, Qalqilya, and Aree'ha (Jericho).” Furthermore, Israeli occupation forces arrested a number of workers from Gaza in Ramallah.

The statement pointed out that the occupation continues to “carry out wide-scale incursions and destruction operations in the West Bank cities, refugee camps, and towns, accompanied by acts of sabotage in the homes of citizens, in addition to brutal beatings against detainees and their families.”

The statement confirmed that “the number of arrests after the seventh of October last year has reached more than 7,990, and this number includes those who were arrested from their homes, at military checkpoints, under pressure, and those who were taken as hostages.”

It noted that “the ongoing and escalating arrest campaigns come within the framework of the comprehensive aggression against our people and the ongoing genocide in Gaza after the seventh of October, which targeted all categories including children, women, the elderly, and the sick in an unprecedented manner.”
