While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Mass demonstrations in Türkiye, in support of Gaza, and protests on US college campuses

Monday 29-April-2024

ISTANBUL, (PIC)

Thousands of Turks took to streets on Sunday in the cities of Istanbul and Ankara, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in protest against the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

The protesters demanded an end to the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, expressing solidarity with the pro-Palestine student protests sweeping college campuses across the US.

In Istanbul, a massive protest was organized in Uskudar in the Asian part of the city, by the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) and the International Freedom Flotilla Federation.

The protesters chanted slogans denouncing the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and supporting the resistance. They chanted “Long live the global intifada (uprising),” “Long live the Palestinian resistance,” “Criminal Israel, leave Palestine,” and “Long live global brotherhood.”

The participants, including foreign activists who joined the Freedom Flotilla, raised Palestinian flags, whereas many of them wore keffiyehs. They also raised banners bearing the slogans “Ceasefire Now!” and “Open the Rafah crossing.”

In the capital, Ankara, members of the Turkish Youth Union organized a protest in front of the US embassy to express their support for the pro-Palestine student protests, which invaded dozens of universities in the United States in order to demand halting support for and cutting investments with Israel.

The demonstrators chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian people and against the continued US support for Israel in light of its ongoing crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza. They also carried out a representative pose with their hands tied in reference to the widespread arrests of pro-Palestine students in the US.

For the 206th day in a row, the Israeli occupation army has been committing massacres as part of its genocidal war against the people of the Gaza Strip, targeting inhabited homes and medical and journalistic teams, causing massive destruction, killing, and injuring thousands of civilians.

International humanitarian group surveys unexploded Israeli ordnance to ensure Gaza safety

Monday 29-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

An international humanitarian group team surveyed on Sunday unexploded Israeli ordnance in the city of Dair El-Bala'h in the central Gaza Strip to ensure safety in light of the devastating Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which has been ongoing since October 7, 2023, according to a member of the team.

Nick, who did not reveal his last name, a member of the Humanity and Inclusion team, told Anadolu Agency on Sunday, “We are here to mark the unexploded bombs.”

He explained, “First of all, we must identify its type. Second, we must make sure whether it is safe or not, and third, we must examine the possibility of moving it and keeping everyone safe.”

The humanitarian volunteer sent a message to the residents of the area, saying, “You must not touch these weapons, play with them, or stand on top of them, as one unexploded missile is capable of destroying an entire building.”

“We only have to report these weapons when we find them, and not approach them at all. They are not toys, but rather dangerous items that threaten the lives of citizens,” he added.

A video clip had earlier been circulated by activists on social media showing a large unexploded bomb which landed inside a building in Dair El-Bala'h whose streets are filled with debris of Israeli bombardment.

Humanity and Inclusion is an international non-governmental organization that seeks to help people with disabilities and vulnerable people in situations of poverty, exclusion, conflict and disasters.

The ongoing Israeli genocidal war on Gaza has so far left more than 112,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of many children, according to Palestinian and UN data.

5th Conference of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds (LP4Q) calls for prosecuting genocide war criminals in Gaza

Monday 29-April-2024

ISTANBUL, (PIC)

The 5th Conference of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds (LP4Q), held in Türkiye, called at its final session for criminalizing dealing with the Israeli occupation regime and coordinating efforts to prosecute the criminals of the genocidal war in Gaza.

The conference’s final statement called for the establishment of an international legal initiative supported by parliamentarians and legislative councils aimed at coordinating legal efforts to prosecute genocide criminals in the Gaza Strip, and to support the global boycott movement against the Israeli occupation state and its supporters.

The statement urged parliaments to legislate laws that promote the boycott movement and criminalize dealing with the occupation.

Last Monday, the League concluded the activities of its fifth international parliamentary conference in Istanbul, that was held for three days under the theme: “Freedom and Independence for Palestine.”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş, a number of intellectual and political elites, representatives of popular movements, and more than 700 parliamentarians from 80 countries around the world participated in the conference.

The parliamentarians who attended the conference stressed “the necessity of taking all measures that would lead to an immediate cessation of the war of genocide, lifting the siege on the people of Gaza, and holding all those involved in such crimes accountable.”

The conference also called on all participating parliamentarians and parliaments to activate the role of the LP4Q to function as a global parliamentary legal and political umbrella that supports Palestinian rights and organizes international parliamentary efforts to confront the parties backing the war of genocide on the Gaza Strip.

The conference held intellectual, legal, and political seminars, focusing mainly on the genocide crimes that have been committed by the Israeli occupation army in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, as well as the ongoing violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque, the city of occupied Jerusalem and the Jerusalemite people.

The attendees stressed the importance of establishing “a global alliance to revive the system of right, justice, values and principles that cross parliaments, governments and peoples, in the face of the alliance of oppression, injustice, tyranny, occupation and racism that supports the Israeli occupation state in its criminal war on the Gaza Strip.”

GAZA, (PIC)

'Hamas spokesman Jihad Taha has categorically denied what Al-Arabiya satellite channel claimed that the second stage of any future truce deal may see the departure of some of the 'Hamas leaders from Gaza to Cairo.

“Such news is untrue, fabricated, and aims to cause confusion,” spokesman Taha said on his Telegram account on Sunday.

“ 'Hamas leaders will remain on their homeland and with their people in the Gaza Strip. The only one that will leave is the Nazi (Israeli) occupation,” he added.

EU Chief: Several European member states are expected to recognize Palestinian statehood by end of May

RIYADH, Monday, April 29, 2024 (WAFA) -

The High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union, Joseph Borrell, said today that several European member states are expected to recognize Palestinian statehood by the end of May.

Borrell's statement came on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Last month, the Prime ministers of Spain, Ireland, Slovakia and Malta expressed their readiness to recognize the Palestinian state in a joint statement.

Recently, the governments of Jamaica and Barbados announced their recognition of the state of Palestine, bringing the number of countries that recognized Palestine to 142.

On Sunday, the Ambassador and Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine, Riyadh Mansour, said that new countries in the Caribbean and Latin America region will soon recognize the State of Palestine.

He said that the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago will soon recognize the state of Palestine following Jamaica and Barbados' recognition of Palestine as a state.

He said that work is underway with the Bahamas and Panama to recognize the State of Palestine in response to the United States’ veto against Palestine's full membership in the United Nations.

The United States vetoed on April 18th a UN Security Council resolution proposed by Algeria on behalf of Arab nations that recommended the State of Palestine's full membership in the UN.

Monday 29-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 34 civilians and injuring over 68 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 34,488 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 77,643 people.

PPS: The current number of administrative detainees is the highest ever

Monday 29-April-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) has said that the current number of administrative detainees in Israeli jails is the highest ever in light of the escalating arrest campaign in the West Bank.

In a statement on Sunday, PPS said that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) continues to issue more administrative detention orders against Palestinian citizens, although it recently released a limited number of administrative detainees.

PPS pointed out that the IOA started escalating its detention policy against the Palestinians before the October 7, 2023 events, specifically in April 2022 when the number of administrative detainees climbed to 600, adding that their number exceeded 1,000 prisoners in March 2023.

“After October 7 [2023] and in the midst of the genocide and growing aggression [in Gaza], the number of administrative detainees exceeded 2,000 and continued to rise until it became more than 3,660 prisoners at the beginning of April 2024,” PPS said, describing this number as the highest since the occupation of Palestine.

A large number of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers continued to desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards on Monday morning on the last day of the week-long Passover festival, amid ongoing restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to their Islamic holy site in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

The Administration of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem's) Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs said that over 200 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in different groups in the morning under tight police guard, adding that this number is likely to increase, especially in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation regime police imposed restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to Al-Aqsa Mosque and expelled many of them from the holy site and the roads leading to it during the settler tours of its courtyards.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.

Recently, the illegal Israeli Jewish settler groups announced their intents to organize mass break-ins and preform provocative practices atAl-Aqsa Mosque to mark the Passover event, while Palestinian figures and activists urged Muslim worshipers to intensify their presence at the Mosque at all times to protect it against desecration and Judaization.

Yesterday, the Israeli police allowed over 1,200 settlers to desecrateAl-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards, according to local sources in the holy city.
