While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Haniyya warns of massive Israeli massacres if invasion happens in Rafa'h

Sunday 21-April-2024

ANKARA, (PIC)

Head of Hamas’s political bureau Isma'eel Haniyya has warned against the Israeli occupation army’s plan to invade Rafa'h in the south of the Gaza Strip, stressing that such a step would lead to large-scale massacres in the area.

“It is very clear that the Israeli enemy has a decision to violate every point, every place and every city in Gaza, especially that it has been talking about Rafah for months,” Haniyya told Anadolu news agency during an interview with him on Saturday.

With regard to Washington’s position on Israel’s intent to invade Rafa'h, Haniyya described the US position in this regard as “deceptive.” “They (Americans) talk about their need to see plans to avoid harm to civilians [in Rafa'h], but this is nothing but deception.”

“All the civilians who were martyred in Gaza were killed by American weapons and missiles and with American political cover,” Haniyya highlighted.

“When Washington stands at the Security Council and uses its veto power against a ceasefire resolution — what does that mean? It means that the US provides full cover for the continued killings and carnage in Gaza, and when Washington took a veto decision yesterday against a step calling for recognizing Palestine as a full member state at the UN, this means that it adopts the Israeli position and is the one that stands against the Palestinian people’s rights,” the Hamas leader said.

“Therefore, we have not fallen into this trap — the trap of deception or what is called the exchange of roles between the Americans and the Israelis. We warn against invading Rafa'h because this would lead to massive carnage against our people,” he added.

Haniyya called on Egypt, Türkiye, Qatar, the European countries and other concerned parties to take action to prevent the Israeli occupation regime from invading Rafa'h, stop its aggression against the population and force it to withdraw its troops from Gaza.

However, he emphasized that “if the Israeli army decided to enter Rafa'h, then our Palestinian people will not raise the white flag and their resistance in Rafa'h is also ready to defend and protect itself and its people and confront the aggression.”

Resheq: Palestinian journalists are the “roaring voice of our people”

Sunday 21-April-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

Member of Hamas’s political bureau 'Izzat Al-Rishiq has said that the Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip have proven during the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood and over six months of war that they are “the roaring voice of their people, who are aspiring to freedom, independence and liberation from the occupation.”

“Each one of them has become a mountain of patience, sacrifice and dedication, conveying the true voice and image of our people’s steadfastness and fortitude on their land and exposing the crimes of the Zionist enemy and the genocidal war it is waging on defenseless civilians,” Rishiq said in press remarks on Saturday.

The Hamas official talked about journalist Anas ash-Sharif who was granted recently the “Courage Award” for his heroism and bravery in covering the Israeli war crimes in Gaza, applauding the great efforts made by him and other journalists to convey the truth and expose the misleading Israeli propaganda despite their exposure to systematic targeting and attacks.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has killed 140 journalists, injured many others and destroyed dozens of media institutions across the Gaza Strip.

OCHA: Humanitarian missions impeded, delayed by the Israeli occupation army

Sunday 21-April-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the occupied Palestinian territories (OCHA) has said that humanitarian convoys were unable to deliver critical supplies and fuel to hospitals in the war-torn Gaza Strip due to Israeli obstacles.

“Today, two-thirds of coordinated humanitarian missions in Gaza were impeded or significantly delayed by the Israeli authorities,” OCHA said in its X page on Saturday.

“On average, each of these missions faced nearly five hours of delay before being allowed to proceed,” OCHA added.

“Some waited so long they had to turn back, while others proceeded but significantly curtailed their operations due to the limited remaining time. As a result, critical supplies, equipment and fuel for back-up generators were not provided to hospitals and assessments of people’s need in multiple locations were cancelled,” OCHA elaborated.

“The occupying power’s obligation to facilitate relief operations does not end when supplies are dropped off at the border. It only ends when aid reaches the people who need it,” it underlined.

In a related context, the Government Media Office in Gaza said that the total number of aid trucks entering the Gaza Strip daily ranges, on average, between 130 and 150, adding that Israeli claims of about 300 trucks were “lies.”

The Freedom Flotilla in Istanbul prepares to set off for the Gaza Strip

Saturday 20-April-2024

ISTANBUL, (PIC)

The Freedom Flotilla coalition is preparing to launch the “Mediterranean” ship designated to transport humanitarian aid to the besieged  Gaza Strip, with the participation of about 1,000 solidarity activists.

The Flotilla represents an attempt by civil society organizations from 12 countries to break the siege and provide relief to the Palestinian people, who are being subjected to a genocidal war for the seventh month in a row.

In a press conference held on Friday, in a private shipyard in the Tuzla area in the Turkish city of Istanbul, it was announced that the fleet was ready to depart for the  Gaza Strip, in the presence of activists from several countries, including Germany, Malaysia, Palestine, Norway, Argentina, Spain, Canada, and South Africa.

In her speech during the conference, retired American officer and former diplomat Anne Wright announced the opening of the “Gaza Freedom Flotilla” campaign.

Wright indicated that she participated in the campaign in 2010 onboard the Mavi Marmara ship, which was launched along with 7 different ships with the participation of people from dozens of countries.

For her part, activist Fawzia Mohamed Hassan, from the Malaysian Freedom Flotilla movement, said, “the news published by media organizations such as CNN and BBC claim that the problem in the region is caused by Iran or other countries, but the current situation is very different from what is shown.”

Fawzia pointed out that preparations for the Freedom Flotilla’s trip are taking place with the participation of more than 280 important figures from various parts of the world, including doctors, lawyers, engineers, and professors, and that the most important demand in this mission is to ensure a ceasefire in the region.

For his part, Torsten Daly, from the Norwegian Freedom Flotilla movement, said, “Humanitarian aid must be delivered to  Gaza, especially after the genocide and massacre that has been ongoing for more than 6 months.”

He stressed that all countries, including Türkiye, must deliver this aid safely to the region, and ensure a permanent ceasefire, in accordance with the decisions of the International Criminal Court.

The Israeli occupation deliberately obstructs the arrival of humanitarian aid to the  Gaza Strip by directly targeting relief convoys, which resulted in the martyrdom of many relief workers, including foreign workers affiliated with the “World Central Kitchen” organization.

The International Freedom Flotilla Alliance includes a large number of international civil society organizations and activists, including the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), according to Anadolu Agency.

For the 197th day in a row, the Israeli occupation continues to commit massacres, as part of the genocidal war it is waging against the people of the  Gaza Strip, targeting inhabited homes and medical and journalistic teams.

The death toll from the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to more than 34,000 martyrs, and more than 76,000 injured, in addition to thousands missing under the rubble, according to the Ministry of Health in  Gaza.

US-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip enters Day 198

Sunday 21-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 198 on Sunday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring scores of citizens.

According to media sources, the Israeli occupation army bombed a house belonging to the family of Abdul-Al in eastern Rafa'h, massacring at least 15 civilians, including two women and 13 children, and wounding others.

IOFs kill two Palestinians in Al-Khaleel, 14 others in Toulkarm

Sunday 21-April-2024

+ -

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) killed on Sunday morning two Palestinian young men at the junction of Bait 'Ainoun, northeast of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) province, and 14 others during a campaign in Toulkarm yesterday.

According to local sources, Israeli occupation soldiers intensively opened fire at two young men at the junction of Bait 'Ainoun, fatally wounding them.

Soon later, the young men died of their injuries after the soldiers in the area prevented an ambulance crew from providing them with medical assistance.

Eyewitnesses said that the IOFs refused to hand over the young men’s bodies to ambulance crews and transported them to an unknown place.

The Hebrew media claimed that the young men tried to carry out a stabbing and shooting operation at the junction before they were gunned down.

In a separate incident, 14 young men were martyred yesterday following long hours of Israeli military aggression against the refugee camps of Nour Shams and Toulkarm.

The IOFs also caused widespread destruction to public and private property during its campaign in the camps of Nour Shams and Toulkarm.

Nine Israeli occupation soldiers were reportedly injured during armed clashes with resistance fighters in the camps.

General strike in the West Bank and Al-Quds (Jerusalem), in protest to Israeli crimes in Toulkarm

Sunday 21-April-2024

TULKAREM, (PIC)

A general strike has been observed on Sunday across the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) in protest at the Israeli crimes in Nour Shams refugee camp and in mourning for the Palestinian citizens who were martyred during three days of an Israeli military campaign in Toulkarm.

Businesses, schools and different facilities observed the strike and shut down their doors in different areas of the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Palestinian resistance factions, which called for the strike, urged the citizens to participate in clashes today with the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) across the occupied territories.

The strike was staged after the IOF stormed Nour Shams refugee camp last Thursday and committed appalling crimes against its local residents, killing and injuring dozens, kidnaping others, and destroying homes and infrastructure.

The IOFs reportedly killed 14 citizens and injured dozens during its three-day campaign in the refugee camp of Nour Shams in Toulkarm.

Israel occupation forces detained 50 Palestinians, including wounded, during recent aggression against Toulkarm

RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 21, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces detained 50 Palestinians, including wounded, the majority of whom were released following field investigations with them, during the brutal aggression that lasted for about three days on Nour Shams refugee camp, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) said in a statement.

The PPS added that the widespread arrest and field investigation operations were accompanied by serious and horrific attacks and violations against civilians, including using defenseless citizens as human shields and hostages, severely beating them, stripping them naked, and using shackles as a tool to torture them.

The torture operations left clear marks on the bodies of the detainees who were later released, PPS said, adding that the Israeli forces threatened to shoot the detainees.

The PPS explained that Toulkarm Governorate and its two camps, Nour Shams and Toulkarm, saw several invasions after the 7th of October, during which the occupation army carried out crimes and widespread arrests, the largest in the governorate since the second uprising (Intifada).

It added that the arrests amounted to over 500 as well as hundreds of citizens who were subjected to field investigation operations, which targeted all groups, including women, children, the elderly, the wounded, and the sick.

According to the data available to the PPS, the number of those detained by the occupation from Nour Shams camp during the incursions is over 100 citizens from the camp only.

The head of the Jalboun Village Council, Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub, told WAFA that the occupation forces opened fire directly at citizens’ homes, from inside the illegal Israeli settlement of Merav, which is located on the village’s lands.

He added that colonists gathered near the separation and expansion wall, and burned a vehicle owned by local resident Nimr Nafi' Abu Al-Rub, and an agricultural greenhouse owned by 'Hasan Fayiz Abu Al-Rub.

The occupation forces also intensified their military measures in the vicinity of villages and towns northeast of Jineen.

Meanwhile, confrontations broke out between young men and the occupation forces near the illegal Israeli settlement of “Dotan” checkpoint erected on the lands of the town of Ya’bad, where the occupation soldiers closed the military checkpoint linking Jineen to Toulkarm and the town of Ya’bad and its villages, while other confrontations broke out in the vicinity of Salem Camp, west of Jineen.
