While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Gazans perform Eid prayers on ruins of mosques and in shelter schools

GAZA, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip performed 'Eidul-Fitr prayers on the ruins of mosques destroyed by the Israeli aggression, in the shelter schools to which they were displaced, and in public squares in the rain and cold weather.

During its ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip since October 7, the Israeli occupation destroyed 229 mosques completely and 297 mosques partially.

In Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip, where more than a million citizens were displaced, a number of displaced people performed 'Eid prayers in shelter schools and near displacement tents.

Several relief organizations took the initiative to distribute sweets and toys to children in an attempt to put a smile on their faces despite the difficult circumstances. Eid prayers were also held on the ruins of Al-Farouq Mosque in the city.

In Jabalya camp, north of the Gaza Strip, a number of citizens performed Eid prayers in public squares, in light of the rain and cold weather.

WAFA correspondent reported that despite the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip for 187 days, citizens are trying as much as possible to bring joy to the hearts of their children and the children of the slain civilians, the wounded, and those who were displaced to shelter centers and tents.

He added that the majority of children wore normal clothes and were unable to buy Eid clothes due to the difficult conditions imposed by the aggression and the destruction of markets and shops.

In an infinite toll, the number of slain Palestinians in the Gaza Strip rose to 33,360, the majority of whom were children and women, while about 76,000 citizens were injured. Thousands are still missing under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation prevents ambulance and rescue crews from reaching them.

Wednesday 10-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

In a statement ahead of 'Eid Al-Fitr, which marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadhan, the 'Hamas Movement has congratulated the Palestinians in the war-torn Gaza Strip for their fortitude and steadfastness as they mark six months of relentless Israeli aggression.

“The blessed 'Eid Al-Fitr holiday comes this year as our Palestinian people and valiant resistance have been making a legendary epic for a half year with their steadfastness, resilience and sacrifices, confronting Zionist aggression and a genocidal war waged by a Nazi occupying power in full partnership with the US administration and in the midst of international passivity and inaction,” Hamas stated on Tuesday.

“On this blessed occasion of 'Eid Al-Fitr, we congratulate our patient and steadfast people and our valiant resistance in the Gaza Strip on their endurance, nonstop sacrifices and their mythic steadfastness in the face of the Zionist war machine as they defend themselves, their land and holy sites,” the Movement said.

The Movement also mourned the martyrs of the Palestinian people and the Arab nation who had been killed during Al-Aqsa Flood battle, and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded and patients.

It also expressed hope to see all the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails obtain their freedom, and asked Allah Almighty to bestow upon the Palestinian people and their resistance a decisive victory against their enemy.

“We affirm that our people from all spectra, in the West Bank, Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), in 1948 occupied Palestine and in the displacement camps around the world, are standing in solidarity with our people and resistance in Gaza,” its statement read.

"My heart is broken knowing that in Gaza, Sudan and many other places -- because of conflict and hunger -- so many Muslims will not be able to celebrate properly," he noted.

'Hamas appreciates Nicaragua’s ICJ lawsuit against Germany to stop supplying arms to Israel

Tuesday 9-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement extended its appreciation on Monday for the lawsuit filed by the Republic of Nicaragua against Germany in the International Court of Justice (ICJ), demanding that judges impose emergency measures to stop Berlin from providing Israel with weapons and other assistance.

In an official statement, Hamas called on the countries of the free world “to follow the example of Nicaragua, South Africa, and other countries that refused to turn a blind eye to the genocide crime committed by the Zionist occupation in the Gaza Strip with clear support from Western capitals.”

'Hamas called on the ICJ to come up with decisive resolutions to stop the ongoing war of genocide in Gaza, which has been ongoing despite the ICJ’s previous resolutions as well as all the international resolutions, agreements, and laws.

By April 8, 2024, since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation terrorist army has continued its aggression against the Gaza Strip, with the US and European support, leading to the martyrdom of 33,207 martyrs, the injury of 75,933 others, and the displacement of about 85 percent of the population of the Strip, according to the Gaza authorities and international bodies and organizations.

'Hamas calls for holding Israel accountable for its crimes at Gaza hospitals

Wednesday 10-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement has accused the Israeli occupation army of “committing unprecedented crimes and the most heinous practices at Gaza hospitals and turning them into mass graves containing the bodies of hundreds of innocent civilians who were killed in cold blood.”

In a statement on Tuesday, Hamas stressed the need for serious action by the international community and its institutions to hold the Israeli occupation regime accountable for all its crimes and violations in Gaza.

'Hamas affirmed that the ongoing efforts to search for more victims at the site of the destroyed Shifa Hospital and the neighborhoods around it after the “fascist occupation army” withdrew from there unveiled more atrocities committed by Israeli forces in the area.

“In addition to the destruction and burning of the medical complex … civil defense crews retrieved the bodies of hundreds of martyrs from the facility and its surrounding area, who had been buried by the criminal Zionist occupation under rubble and piles of dirt in an attempt to conceal its crime against the hospital and the patients, medical staff and displaced civilians who had been inside it,” Hamas underlined.

“The Zionist enemy has violated all laws and treaties that protect civilians and hospitals when the fascist occupation and its defeated army targeted them as part of its failed attempts to displace our people through destroying all means of life in the Gaza Strip,” the Movement added.

Spanish PM says recognition of Palestine is “in Europe’s geopolitical interests.”

MADRID, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has Wednesday said that the recognition of a Palestinian state is “in Europe’s geopolitical interests.”

“The international community cannot help the Palestinian state if it does not recognize its existence,” Sanchez told lawmakers Wednesday.

The Spanish PM also warned that Israel’s “disproportionate response” in the Gaza war with Hamas risks “destabilizing the Middle East, and as a consequence, the entire world.”

Sanchez had already raised the subject of statehood during a visit last week to Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, when he indicated that Spain could recognize Palestine as a nation by the end of June.

Spain, Ireland, Malta, and Slovenia announced last month they would jointly work toward recognition of a Palestinian state.

Irish FM says Ireland will recognize Palestinian statehood

DUBLIN, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Minister for Defence Micheál Martin has said formal recognition of Palestine by Ireland “will happen”.

Speaking in the the national parliament, Martin said he was bringing a formal proposal on the recognition of Palestinian statehood to Government.

The Government had previously said it was working with other European countries on a joint declaration of recognition for Palestine.

On Tuesday, Martin said: "For the past six months, I’ve maintained ongoing discussions with ministerial colleagues and other countries about how a joint formal recognition of Palestinian statehood could be a catalyst to help the people of Gaza and the West Bank, and in furthering an Arab-led peace initiative."

“We’ve agreed that the undermining of the Oslo Accords and therefore the agreement to create two states has reached the point where the accords’ approach with recognition after a final agreement is not credible or tenable any longer.

“I’ve discussed this with those in the region who are working on peace initiatives and co-ordination with other countries continues intensively.

“We’ve discussed this between the government parties and it is my intention to bring to Government a formal proposal on recognition when these wider international discussions are complete.

Martin added: “But be in no doubt, recognition of a Palestinian state will happen.”

HRW: Israel uses starvation as a weapon against Gaza children

Tuesday 9-April-2024

GENEVA, (PIC)

Human Rights Watch (HRW) has warned that “children in Gaza have been dying from starvation-related complications since the Israeli government began using starvation as a weapon of war,” calling such an Israeli practice a “war crime.”

“The Israeli government’s use of starvation as a weapon of war has proven deadly for children in Gaza,” said Omar Shakir, HRW director in the occupied Palestinian territories. “Israel needs to end this war crime, stop this suffering, and allow humanitarian aid to reach all of Gaza unhindered.”

In a statement published on its website on Tuesday, HRW said that children, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, suffer from severe malnutrition and dehydration, and ill-equipped hospitals are unable to treat them.

“Concerned governments should impose targeted sanctions and suspend arms transfers to press the Israeli government to ensure access to humanitarian aid and basic services in Gaza, in accordance with Israel’s obligations under international law and the recent International Court of Justice order in South Africa’s genocide case,” HRW emphasized.

“Prior to the current hostilities, 1.2 million of Gaza’s then-2.2 million people were estimated to be facing acute food insecurity, and over 80 percent were reliant on humanitarian aid. Israel maintains overarching control over Gaza, including over the movement of people and goods, territorial waters, airspace, the infrastructure upon which Gaza relies, and the population registry. This leaves Gaza’s population, whom Israel has subjected to an unlawful closure for more than 16 years, almost entirely dependent on Israel for access to fuel, electricity, medicine, food, and other essential commodities,” HRW pointed out.

“Ongoing Israeli bombardment and ground operations, lack of security assurances from Israel, widespread infrastructure damage, and communications disruptions make it difficult to distribute the little aid that does get into Gaza. Humanitarian organizations have reported that Israeli forces have attacked their aid convoys and workers. Israeli forces have also shot at and shelled people congregating to collect aid, killing and injuring hundreds,” HRW said.

On 'Eid eve, Israeli occupation terrorist forces massacre a family in central Gaza

Wednesday 10-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

One day before the Palestinians and the Muslim world celebrate the 'Eidul-Fitr holiday, the Israeli occupation terrorist army committed on Tuesday evening a new massacre in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing 17 and injuring many civilians, mostly women and children.

The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter said that an Israeli warplane bombed a house belonging to the family of Abu Yousuf and reduced it to rubble over the heads of its residents on the last day of the holy month of Ramadan, killing at least 14 citizens and injuring others.

He added that the number of those killed in the massacre is likely to increase, pointing out that four children are among the victims.

Israeli military drones are still buzzing in Gaza, just to remind the Palestinians in Gaza that they have no right to feel safe and alive, even on a day that is supposed to be a day for celebration and rejoicing, Al Jazeera satellite channel said.

As of yesterday, the Israeli army had committed about 2,941 massacres in Gaza, which claimed the lives of over 33,000 civilians and wounded about 76,000 others.

Media sources explained that Israeli police broke into the funeral tent, before removing it, and rounded up five relatives of martyr Waleed Daqqa, after storming his family home. The police attacked other citizens and fired tear gas at them, the sources added.

On Sunday, the family of martyr Daqqa announced that Israeli occupation forces refused to hand over his body, in an attempt to punish the family, pointing out that the body is still held in the Forensic Medicine Institute in Abu Kabeer with no legal justification.

The family called on all humanitarian and human rights institutions and regional officials to seek the release of the martyr’s body, saying, “We had hoped that the (prisoners’ exchange) deal would release Walid alive, and now we hope no deal will be reached without the release of his body.”

Martyr Daqqa, who spent 38 years behind bars, died on Sunday in the Israeli 'Assaf Harofeh Hospital after years of deliberate medical negligence by the Israeli prison administration.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) revealed on Monday that the number of bodies of martyr prisoners held by the Israeli occupation rose to 26, after the martyrdom of prisoner Waleed Daqqa.

The PPS said in a statement, “Until now, no decision has been announced on the fate of the body of the martyr Daqqa.”

The statement listed the names of the martyrs whose bodies are held, to date, in Israeli occupation’s custody.
