While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

'Hizbullah announces martyrdom of Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah

By Al-Mayadeen English Source: Islamic Resistance in Lebanon

September 28, 2024, at 15:07 pm, Beirut time

In a statement released just shortly ago, 'Hizbullah announced the martyrdom of Secretary-General Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah following years of sacrifice on the path of Resistance against the usurping Israeli entity.

Let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, and then is slain, or he subdues [the enemy], soon We shall give him a great reward.

Hezbollah has released a statement announcing the martyrdom of its Secretary-General, Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah.

The Islamic Resistance began its statement with the verse: Let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, and then is slain, or he subdues [the enemy], soon We shall give him a great reward. [Surah al-Nisa', verse 74]

"His eminence, the leader of the Resistance, the pious servant of God, has passed on to God as a great leader, a brave martyr, joining the martyrs of Karbala...on the path of prophets," the statement read.

"Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, joined his great, eternal companions, whose journey he led for over 30 years through victory after victory" after succeeding Al-Sayyid 'Abbas Al-Mousawi in 1992, leading them in "the liberation of Lebanon in 2000 and the Divine Victory of 2006," and up to the battle of support for Palestine and the oppressed people of Palestine.

Hezbollah extended its condolences to the Islamic nation and the steadfast people of Lebanon, and all the free and oppressed people of the world, congratulating Al-Sayyid 'Hasan on achieving the greatest of divine gifts, through which he was granted his greatest wish, that of a martyr on the path to Palestine and al-Quds.

The Islamic Resistance also congratulated his fellow martyrs who joined him in martyrdom following the Israeli aggression on the Southern Suburb of Beirut.

In the statement, Hezbollah's leadership promised Al-Sayyid Nasrullah, "our greatest, holiest, and most beloved leader in our path filled with martyrs and sacrifice, to continue its struggle against the enemy, in support of Gaza and Palestine, and in defense of Lebanon and its honorable, resilient people."

The Islamic Resistance concluded its statement by addressing the freedom fighters of the Resistance, "you who were his trusted shield...our leader Al-Sayyed still lives among us through his thought, spirit, and his holy path."

Friday's attack on Southern Suburb of Beirut

"Israel" launched massive strikes on Friday, targeting residential neighborhoods in the Southern Suburb of Beirut.

Six buildings were razed to the ground as a result of the Israeli aggression, as Israeli media reported that 2,000 tons of explosives were dropped on the neighborhood of 'Harit 'Huraik in the assault.

The IOFs announced that the goal of the attack was the assassination of Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah, and Israeli Army Radio pointed out that F-35 aircraft carried out the airstrikes using bunker-buster bombs.

Al-Sayyid 'Ali Khamenei: Fate of the region will be shaped by the Resistance

ByAl Mayadeen English Today 14:24 1 Shares

2 Min Read

The Iranian Leader, Al-Sayyid 'Ali Khamenei, said that the massacre of the innocent people in Lebanon revealed both the brutal nature of the "aggressive Zionist regime and the shortsightedness of its leaders."

Iranian Leader Sayyid 'Ali Khamenei urged Muslims to “stand by the people of Lebanon and the proud 'Hizbullah with whatever means they have and assist them in confronting the… wicked regime [of Israel].”

In a statement following an escalation of Israeli attacks on Lebanon, Al-Sayyid Khamenei declared, “The fate of this region will be determined by the forces of the resistance, with 'Hizbullah at the forefront.”

The Iranian leader stated that the massacre of innocent people in Lebanon has revealed both the brutal nature of the "aggressive Zionist regime and the shortsightedness of its leaders."

He emphasized that "the terrorist group governing the Zionist entity" has failed to learn from their year-long violent campaign in Gaza and does not understand that the mass killings of women, children, and civilians will not undermine or dismantle the strong foundation of the Resistance.

Now, they are repeating this misguided approach in Lebanon, as per the Iranian leader.

"The Zionist criminals must know that they are far too insignificant to cause any significant harm to the strong structure of the Lebanese 'Hizbulah", Sayyid Khamenei stressed.

He emphasized that the people of Lebanon remember a time when the military forces of the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) reached Beirut, only to be met with Resistance from Hezbollah, which restored dignity and pride to the nation.

The Iranian leader asserted that empowered by divine strength, Lebanon will once again force the aggressive and cowardly enemy to regret their actions.

"Today as well, with the power and might of Allah, Lebanon will make the aggressive, evil, and cowardly enemy regret its actions. It is incumbent upon all Muslims to stand with their capabilities beside the people of Lebanon and the victorious Hezbollah and assist them in confronting this usurping, unjust, and evil regime," he said.

Al-Qassam: 'Hasan Nasrullah did not hesitate to provide our resistance with all necessary support

Saturday 28-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The leadership of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of 'Hamas, extended heartfelt condolences to 'Hizbullah, comrades in the battle to defend Al-Aqsa, to the dear Lebanese people, to the leaders of the Axis of Resistance, and to the masses of our nation following the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, the great jihadist leader 'Hasan Nasrallah.

Nasrallah ascended as a martyr on Friday along with several of his brothers in a criminal assassination carried out by the “Zionist enemy” in the southern Beirut suburb, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement on Saturday, “We bid farewell to a jihadist leader who topped the list of wanted individuals for the Zionist entity. Under Nasrallah’s leadership, Hezbollah underwent a qualitative leap, becoming stronger and more resilient. His leadership provided significant support for the relationship with the Palestinian resistance, particularly Al-Qassam Brigades, and he did not hesitate to provide all necessary support, assistance, embrace, and expertise to our resistance.”

It added that the martyr leader 'Hasan Nasrallah is remembered for his historic stance alongside our Palestinian people during the “Al-Aqsa Flood Battle,” the most sacred and noble battles in defense of Al-Aqsa and holy sites. He firmly rejected any cessation of support for Gaza despite the heavy sacrifices Lebanon and Hezbollah made in their fighters and leaders, culminating in the offering of his soul as a sacrifice for Al-Aqsa, merging his blood with the blood of the martyrs of Palestine and its jihadist leaders, exemplifying the greatest image of solidarity and brotherhood in arms on the path to liberating Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

It added, “We are highly confident that Hezbollah will overcome this great loss, and capable leaders will succeed the martyr, continuing the path he paved with his blood and that of his brothers. The terrorist leadership of the enemy, which is currently experiencing a temporary euphoria and intensifying its criminal actions, will eventually realize that it is marching toward its inevitable destruction at the hands of the jihadists and the faithful of our nation.”

Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah: Hizbullah will not back out from its support to Gaza

By Al-Mayadeen English

Al-Mayadeen, 10 July, 2024, at 01:23 pm Beirut time

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - 'Hizbullah will remain steadfast on its decision to launch operations in support of the Palestinian people until it achieves the intended goals, the Secretary General of the Lebanese Resistance movement Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah outlined on Tuesday.

"The Resistance in Lebanon will carry on [with the operations it launched] on October 8 until we reach the goal that we aspire to on all supporting fronts," Sayyid Nasrullah explained.

Refuting all scenarios of de-escalation on the military and political supporting fronts, which include South Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, and Syria, Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah. stressed that the Resistance would not back out of its position and its proactive fight in the ongoing battle.

The Resistance leaders said that despite the martyrs, destroyed homes, and continuous threats of war on Lebanon, Hezbollah will not abandon its responsibilities.

Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah took note of the disparity between the stances of the aforementioned countries and factions supporting the Palestinian people on the one hand, and the stances of the Arab and Islamic worlds, which he described as "sad."

He underlined the immoral nature of the Israeli occupation's military, pointing to the weeks-long lack of humanitarian aid supplies to the Gaza Strip and the grave medical and humanitarian consequences that have come as a result.

Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah spoke at the Central 'Aashoura Ceremony, as Muslims remember the journey of Imam 'Husain Bin 'Ali, his relatives and companions, and the Battle of Karbala. Imam Hussein's struggle in Karabla is seen by many as a historic event where a few defended a righteous cause until martyrdom and is intrinsically linked to Hezbollah and other Resistance factions' traditions.

In this context, Hezbollah's secretary general quoted Imam Al-'Husain, relating his statement to the current struggle experienced in the region.

"Do you not see that the truth is not being acted upon, and falsehood is not being avoided? Truly, a believer should desire to meet his God. I see death as nothing but happiness, and living among oppressors as nothing but distress," he said quoting the martyred Imam.

Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah proceeded to directly reprehend the inactive Arab and Muslim government saying, "Where are the funds of Muslims being spent today while two million Muslims in Gaza are dying of hunger? For whom are the tanks, planes, and enormous resources being amassed?"

Hezbollah has launched thousands of operations from South Lebanon in support of the Palestinian people, taking a swift decision on October 8, 2023, to attack key Israeli targets and enter into a battle of attrition with Israeli occupation forces.

Lebanon orders hospital evacuations in Southern Suburb of Beirut

By Al-Mayadeen English

September 28, 024, 10:10 am

The evacuation comes after unprecedented Israeli airstrikes overnight, marking the most intense bombardment since the 2006 July War..

Lebanon's Health Ministry announced plans on Saturday to evacuate hospitals in southern Beirut as Israeli airstrikes intensify in the area.

In a statement, the ministry urged hospitals in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, and other unaffected regions to suspend non-urgent cases until the end of the week in order to accommodate patients from the southern suburbs.

The move signals grave concerns that "Israel" may target hospitals in Lebanon, following its documented violations of international law in Gaza where medical facilities have recurrently been bombed. This fear is compounded by the recent escalation of airstrikes in southern Beirut, raising alarms about the safety of civilian infrastructure and medical institutions.

On Saturday morning, Al-Mayadeen's cameras captured extensive footage of the destruction to residential buildings and infrastructure in Beirut's southern suburbs, following a series of brutal Israeli airstrikes.

The Israeli military renewed a series of intense airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburbs overnight, destroying residential buildings and igniting widespread fires, according to Al-Mayadeen's correspondent.

Israeli warplanes carried out more than 30 airstrikes overnight Friday, targeting buildings in the areas of Burj Al-Barajna, Kafaat, Choueifat, 'Hadath, Al-Laylaki, and Muraija. Additionally, the airstrikes hit a house in the Jamous area of the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to our correspondent.

The Israeli airstrikes caused fires and massive destruction in several sites and buildings in the southern suburbs, leading to a wave of forcible displacement.

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent also reported that the Israeli bombardment created what resembled "fire belts" in parts of the southern suburbs.   Furthermore, a fire broke out as a result of a strike on a fuel station in the Cocodi area, as reported by our correspondent.

Despite the extensive Israeli attacks on the Lebanese capital, air traffic at Beirut Airport continued uninterrupted.

'Hizbullah rejected the claims of storing weapons among civilians

It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation's spokesperson had made an announcement that airstrikes would target Beirut's suburbs, condemning residents to forced displacement. Additionally, the targeted region continues to house thousands of Lebanese people as these attacks have remained unprecedented since 2006 when "Israel" invoked the Dhahiya Doctrine, targeting residential areas in the region.

The occupation forces' statement claimed that Hezbollah was hiding weapons amongst civilian homes, but the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon released a statement denying any such claims. Hezbollah's media office issued a statement noting it "denies the Israeli occupation's false claims about the presence of weapons or weapons stores in the civilian buildings it targeted in the southern suburbs of Beirut at dawn on Saturday."

Moreover, Al-Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that there was no military activity in the areas targeted by the occupation, stressing that all the targets hit by the bombing were civilian and included residential buildings, in addition to the Ghandour factory for food industries.

It is worth noting that "Israel" launched a series of airstrikes in a brutal attack on the 'Harit 'Huraik area of the southern suburbs on Friday afternoon, leveling six residential buildings. This attack led to the killing of six people and injured 91 others, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health's preliminary toll.

Renewed Israeli airstrikes target new parts of southern Beirut suburbs

By Al Mayadeen English

Israeli occupation forces have launched a series of airstrikes on residential areas in southern Beirut under the pretense of targeting Hezbollah infrastructure; Hezbollah rejected the claims of storing weapons among civilians.

In a series of escalations, Israeli occupation forces launched renewed attacks on the southern suburb of Beirut. Al-Mayadeen's correspondent reported multiple airstrikes targeting residential buildings in the al-Hadath and al-Lailaki areas, causing significant destruction.

At approximately 1 a.m., Israeli occupation warplanes executed a series of raids, specifically targeting residential buildings in Al-Laylaki, Al-Kafaat, Shuwaifat, Burj Al-Barajina, and Al-'Hadath.

This comes after the Israeli occupation military carried out several airstrikes on Friday that hit residential neighborhoods in the 'Harit Huraik area in the Southern Suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut.

It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation's spokesperson had made an announcement that further airstrikes would target Beirut's suburbs, condemning residents to forced displacement. The targeted region continues to house thousands of Lebanese people unable to leave elsewhere; these attacks have remained unprecedented since 2006 when "Israel" invoked the Dhahiya Doctrine, decimating entire residential neighborhoods.

The occupation forces' statement claimed that Hezbollah was hiding weapons amongst civilian homes, but the Islamic Resistance released a statement denying any such claims.

'Hizbullah's media office issued a statement noting it "denies the Israeli occupation's false claims about the presence of weapons or weapons stores in the civilian buildings it targeted in the southern suburbs of Beirut at dawn on Saturday."

Moreover, Al-Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that there was no military activity in the areas targeted by the occupation, stressing that all the targets hit by the bombing were civilian and included residential buildings, in addition to the Ghandour factory for food industries.

In parallel, sirens have also sounded in the occupied city of Safad and its surrounding areas.

Specialized institutions concerned with prisoner affairs confirmed on Saturday the martyrdom of the Palestinian man, Waleed Khalifa (30 years old), in an Israeli occupation prison, two days after an Israeli occupation forces raid on his family home, during which he was shot and abducted in Al-'Ain refugee camp in Nablus.

The prisoner institutions said, “Khalifa’s martyrdom was confirmed after the raid on his family home last Thursday, during which he was shot and abducted by the Israeli occupation forces. It is worth noting that he is the brother of martyr Amir Khalifa and the brother of administrative detainee Khalid Khaleefa.”

The Israeli occupation army committed a compounded crime against him by shooting him directly with the intent to execute him during the raid on his family home in Al-'Ain refugee Camp. The nature of his injuries was unknown at the time, but later information reached his family confirming his martyrdom, and they were officially notified afterward.

According to his family, the Israeli occupation army took Waleed from the house while he was injured, transferring him on a stretcher for wounded individuals. Waleed was reportedly screaming and calling for his family at the moment of his abduction, indicating that he was conscious at the time of his injury and abduction.

This new Israeli crime is part of the ongoing targeting of the Khaleefa family since the assassination of his brother 'Aamir in August 2023 and the administrative detention of his brother Khalid for several months.

Martyr Waleed Khaleefa is a father of four children (two daughters and two sons), one of whom is just one month old. His murder adds to the long record of crimes committed by Israel over decades, which has reached its peak with the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, alongside the comprehensive aggression in the West Bank and all Palestinian territories, as well as against prisoners.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
