While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Israeli genocidal airstrikes kill 10 Palestinians, injure others in Gaza and Rafa'h

GAZA, September 20, 2024 (WAFA) –

Three of the Israeli occupation forces genocidal airstrikes Friday afternoon targeted a vehicle and two houses in the cities of Gaza and Rafa'h, killing 10 Palestinians and injuring others, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli warplanes targeted two houses belonging toAl-Dhuhair family in Al-Musabbi'h area, north of Rafa'h city in the southern Strip, killing at least seven civilians.

They added that Israeli fighter jets also targeted a vehicle close to 'Abbas junction, west of the Gaza city, killing three civilians and injuring others.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 41,272 Palestinians and injuring over 95,551 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Seven martyrs, ten wounded in Israeli military aggression in Qabatya

Friday 20-September-2024

Jineen, (PIC)

Seven Palestinian young men were martyred, and ten others were wounded in a large-scale military operation carried out by Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) in the town of Qabatya, south of Jineen, that lasted nearly ten hours and destroyed the town’s infrastructure.

The seven martyrs were identified as Mu'hammed Khalid Abu Al-Rub, 'Omar 'Hamza Abu Al-Rub, A'hmed Mahir Zakarna, Mustafa Faysal Zakarna, Fadi Jowdat 'Hanaysha, Mu'hammed 'Omar Kumail, and Shadi Sami Zakarna.

Meanwhile, two young people among the wounded were run over by a military jeep, whereas press crews were assaulted by IOFs gunfire and tear gas grenades.

The IOFs began the operation with Israeli special forces’ infiltration into a house near the 'Izzat Abu Al-Rub School in the town, before the IOFs, escorted by military reinforcements, stormed the site, and bombed the house with five Energa shells, resulting in the martyrdom of five young men.

Footage that went viral on social media show three young men killed after being shot on the rooftop of the besieged house, and the Israeli soldiers mistreating their bodies, discarding them from the roof of the besieged home before a military bulldozer took their bodies away.

Later on, an Israeli bulldozer began to demolish the besieged house.

The body of one of the martyrs was found under the rubble after the IOFs withdrew from the town.

On Thursday evening hours, two young men were killed, and another young man and a child were injured in an IOFs drone strike that targeted a vehicle near the town’s café complex.

During the operations, the IOFs besieged four homes in the vicinity of the town’s schools complex, and imposed a curfew on the site, detaining more than 1,200 students in Qabatya School and Izzat Abu Al-Rub School, inside their schools until late in the evening.

Meanwhile, the crews of the adjacent Education Directorate were also detained in their offices.

The PIC correspondent confirmed that IOF soldiers prevented the Red Crescent crews from reaching the besieged house, adding that they detonated a bomb on the rooftop of one of the houses.

With the martyrdom of the seven youths in Qabatya, the death toll in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), has risen since October 7, 2023, to 714 martyrs, including 160 children, 10 women, and 9 elderly.

In a related context, a young man was wounded by Israeli gunfire at dawn Friday, during the storming of Qalandya, north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

According to local sources, the IOF stormed the airport neighborhood in Qalandya, and started shooting, leading to a serious injury of a young man with live bullets in the abdomen, before he was transferred to hospital.

The IOFs launched this morning a large-scale raid and arrests campaign across the West Bank, leading to clashes with resistance fighters.

A large-scale kidnapping campaign across the West Bank

Friday 20-September-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched a large-scale raid and kidnapping campaign across the West Bank, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes in several areas at dawn Friday.

In Jineen, the IOFs stormed Ya’bad town and raided a number of local homes, where snipers were deployed on the roofs of a number of them.

At least two young men were kidnapped during the raids amid heavy fire of live bullets, sound and tear gas bombs.

Similar raids were carried out in Shuhada village, south of Jineen, where military bulldozers destroyed the water lines at the village.

In Nablus, the IOFs stormed Tel village amid heavy gunfire, which led to clashes.

In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), clashes erupted in the Shu'fat refugee camp after being violently raised by Israeli occupation apartheid regime police forces amid heavy use of live bullets, sound and tear gas bombs. No injuries or kidnappings were reported.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap four Palestinians in Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), September 20, 2024 (WAFA) –

Under military protection, the illegal Israeli settlers stole 17 sheep from local farmers and transported them to an unknown location. Reports indicate that residents were held at bay while their homes and livestock facilities were vandalized.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack shepherd in southern West Bank village

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), September 20, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers Friday attacked a Palestinian shepherd in the Masafir Yatta’s hamlet of Al-Tuwani, south of the occupied West Bank city of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that the illegal Israeli settlers brutally assaulted a shepherd while the latter was grazing his sheep in the hamlet and attempted to steal his sheep.

The illegal Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

The illegal Israeli settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Over 700,000 Israeli colonists are living in the illegal Israeli settlements across Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and the West Bank in violation of international law.

Masafir Yatta is a collection of almost 19 hamlets that rely heavily on animal husbandry as their main source of livelihood.

Located in Area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli administrative and military control, the area has been subjected to repeated Israeli violations by the illegal settlers and soldiers targeting their main source of living - livestock.

It has been designated as a closed Israeli military zone for training since the 1980s and is accordingly referred to as Firing Zone 918.

Israeli violations against the area include demolition of animal barns, homes and residential structures. Issuance of construction permits by Israel to local Palestinians in the area is non-existent.

'Husam Badran: 'Hamas negotiating seriously to reach an agreement, safe passage proposal for Al-Sinwar rejected

Friday 20-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

'Husam Badran, a member of the 'Hamas political bureau, confirmed that the Islamic Resistance Movement does not rely heavily on US Secretary of State Blinken’s visit to Cairo or on reaching any imminent agreement. The Movement is fully aware that the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is obstructing all efforts aimed at agreeing on a ceasefire. He is doing everything he can to “hinder a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.”

Badran explained that “'Hamas and Palestinian factions focus on ensuring that any agreement achieves a comprehensive ceasefire, a full withdrawal from Gaza, the return of displaced individuals, reconstruction, in addition to a prisoner exchange deal.”

He added that the Movement is serious about the negotiation issue and is keen to reach an agreement that “ends the suffering of our people.” He emphasized that Netanyahu and his extremist government deliberately disrupt reaching a ceasefire agreement, noting that there is no direct communication between the Movement and the U.S. administration, but rather through intermediaries, as they are not a neutral party but are involved in the conflict.

Badran stated that reaching any agreement requires the United States to exert significant pressure on Netanyahu, especially since Hamas remains committed to the agreement outlined in the July 2 document, which is primarily based on US President Joe Biden’s speech and the United Nations Security Council resolution.

Blinken earlier said that “A ceasefire is the best solution to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and to halt escalation in the region.” In a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdul 'Aati, in Cairo, he mentioned that 15 out of 18 points in the proposed ceasefire agreement had been agreed upon, but the remaining issues require resolution, considering that solving the remaining issues in the agreement is more a matter of political will than anything else.

Blinken added that they provided ideas to both the Egyptian and Qatari sides regarding reaching an agreement, noting that the parties also discussed details about “the day after war”, governance in Gaza, and reconstruction, considering that the most important factor is the political will to reach an agreement.

In a related context, 'Hamas responded to the new proposal circulated by Israeli media regarding an agreement in Gaza. They said that the Israeli government submitted it to the United States, which includes the release of all Israeli captives in exchange for a “safe passage,” as described, for the Movement’s political bureau head, Ya'hya Al Sinwar, to exit the enclave.

'Hamas negotiating delegation member Ghazi 'Hamad confirmed in press statements that the Movement rejects any new proposal, except for the proposal presented on July 2 through the Biden administration.

These statements from the 'Hamas negotiating delegation member came in response to reports from the Hebrew radio station “Kan Reshet Bet” on Thursday, regarding the new Israeli proposal submitted to the United States, which includes the release of all Israeli detainees in one batch in exchange for a safe passage for Al-Sinwar and those who wish to accompany him out of the Gaza Strip, the release of some Palestinian prisoners, disarmament of the enclave, the implementation of a new governance mechanism in Gaza, and the end of the war.

'Hamad replied, “This is, of course, a ridiculous proposal that reflects the negotiating bankruptcy of the occupation (Israeli regime) and its denial of what has transpired over the past eight months of negotiations,” adding, “The negotiations are indeed stalled due to the rigidity of the Israeli position.”

In this context, 'Hamas spokesman, Jihad Taha, stated in a special comment to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that “what the occupation is trying to promote regarding the exit of the Movement’s leaders has no place or presence in the Hamas agenda, our people’s agenda, and our valiant resistance.”

Taha confirmed that “'Hamas is committed to what was agreed upon on July 2 and demands the establishment of executive mechanisms and practical measures leading to a ceasefire and the end of the aggression. Thus, we are not in a position to consider new proposals or agreements that serve the agenda of the occupation and its criminal projects and the continuation of its aggression.” He added that “the international community must bear its responsibilities and stop the series of massacres, crimes, and genocide against our people.”

GAZA, (PIC)

The Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Ted Chaiban, stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, an end to the targeting and maiming of children, and enabling of the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Strip.

The UN official urged in a press statement on Thursday evening the need to protect children and improve security measures and operating procedures for humanitarian workers, in addition to facilitating the movement of children who are separated from their families.

Chaiban emphasized that the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to significantly deteriorate, with the number of displaced individuals rising from 1.7 to 1.9 million, noting that areas that were previously considered safe have been bombed, and there is no longer a safe shelter.

He pointed out that the accumulation of untreated waste and unsanitary conditions have led to an increased risk of disease, especially with families resorting to digging in garbage in search for cooking materials.

The UN official reported that the flow of humanitarian aid has decreased significantly, as the daily number of aid trucks has plummeted from 100 trucks in August to just 15 trucks in September, due to security reasons, exacerbating the suffering of the civilian population.

In the same context, Chaiban sounded the alarm over the loss of an entire generation as children in Gaza has lost almost an academic year now, emphasizing the tragic loss of over 14,000 children who were martyred in Gaza since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli genocide war on the Strip, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
