While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

'Catastrophic' humanitarian state in Lebanon amid mass displacement

ByAl Mayadeen English Source: Agencies 2 Oct 2024 23:21 2 Shares

Lebanon's refugee centers are now insufficient to shelter civilians forced to leave their homes and towns amid the intense Israeli attacks.

The humanitarian situation in Lebanon is close to "catastrophic" as a result of the mass forced displacement of civilians from villages and towns subjected to Israeli aggression in the South, the Minister for Social Affairs in the Lebanese caretaker government, Hector 'Hajjar, told Sputnik on Wednesday.

"The humanitarian situation in Lebanon is being seriously tested. The government is doing everything possible despite the great difficulties," he said, adding, "Lebanon is in a catastrophic situation, and we thank everyone who helped and continues to help us."

Hajjar also revealed that almost 150,000 civilians have been accommodated, while 400,000 remain in need of shelter, with more expected to arrive as the war rages on. However, refugee centers have reached maximum capacity amid the influx of displacement.

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati previously stated that around 1.2 million civilians were forced to leave their homes and villages amid "Israel's" intense and indiscriminate bombardment of the South.

"It is the largest displacement movement that may have happened... in Lebanon," Miqati highlighted.

UN alarmed by situation in Lebanon, opposes any ground invasions

The United Nations voiced deep concern on Monday over the deteriorating situation in Lebanon as Israeli attacks intensify, underscoring its opposition from "Israel's" reported plans for a ground invasion of the country.

The Israeli occupation military announced the launching of what it called a "targeted and limited" incursion focused on Hezbollah targets and infrastructure in a number of southern Lebanese villages along the border.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres “remains deeply concerned about the humanitarian consequences of the events that are unfolding in Lebanon," UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said during a press briefing.

Highlighting the impact on civilians, Dujarric announced that a new humanitarian "flash appeal" would be launched on Tuesday to mobilize additional resources to address the needs of approximately one million people affected by the crisis, including those displaced from South Lebanon.

When asked whether the UN would urge "Israel" to halt any ground invasion, Dujarric responded, "The secretary-general has called (for this) and will continue to do so. We do not want to see any sort of ground invasions."

Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces strike residential areas in Beirut, southern suburb

By Al-Mayadeen English

October 2, 2024, at 01:29 Beirut local time

An Israeli genocidal strike reportedly struck the center of the Islamic Health Society in Lebanon's capital, Beirut.

An Israeli genocidal airstrike targeted a center of the Islamic Health Society in Lebanon's capital Beirut early on Thursday, Al-Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

According to our correspondent, several casualties were reported in the Israeli strike on Beirut.

Later the Ministry of Health said that according to an initial toll, two people were martyred and 11 others were injured in the strike, which struck a building in the Bachoura neighborhood. Three of the casualties were critically injured and succumbed to their wounds later on Thursday, raising the death toll to five.

Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that the strike utilized internationally banned white phosphorus bombs on the targeted residential building.

The strike marks a rare occurrence in the ongoing aggression on Lebanon, as only one other airstrike targeted a building near the Cola Station in the capital. Most Israeli airstrikes have struck and destroyed residential areas in the Southern Suburb of Beirut, which falls under the Mount Lebanon governorate.

Prior to the strike on the health services center, a massive raid targeted a neighborhood in the extremities of the southern suburb, where at least three loud explosions were heard.

Another Israeli strike targeted a building in Mu'awwadh Street in Beirut's southern suburb.

It is worth noting that Israeli airstrikes on residential areas across Lebanese territory come as occupation forces attempt to invade the country on its southern borders with occupied Palestine. So far, these attempts have resulted in deep failure, as more than 80 Israeli special forces troops have been killed and injured, while nearly five tanks were destroyed in one day of confrontations, sources told Al-Mayadeen.

Meanwhile, Lebanon's Health Ministry reported that at least 46 people were killed and 85 injured in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours. The strikes targeted several regions, including southern Lebanon, Nabatiya, the Biqaa' Valley, Ba'albek-Hirmil, and Mount Lebanon.

In detail, reports from the Public Health Emergency Operations Center confirmed five deaths and five injuries in Ba'albek-Hirmil, 11 deaths and 21 injuries in southern Lebanon, and six deaths with 17 injuries in the Biqaa' region within the last 24 hours.

Israel’s war on Lebanon: The death toll reaches 1,873 with new airstrikes on the southern suburb of Beirut

Wednesday 2-October-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime army continued its extensive war on Lebanon for the tenth consecutive day, launching more intense airstrikes on the southern suburb of the capital, Beirut. The official death toll has risen to 1,873.

Israeli warplanes conducted nine consecutive airstrikes within two hours on the southern suburb of Beirut early Wednesday, following warnings for residents of buildings in the area to evacuate immediately. The strikes targeted the areas of Al-'Hadath, Al-Ruwais, Al-Shuwaifat, and 'Harit Huraik.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 55 people were martyred and 156 others injured due to Israeli airstrikes on various regions of Lebanon over the past 24 hours.

On Tuesday evening, the Lebanese Disaster Management Unit reported that the number of casualties from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon since October 8 has reached 1,873 martyrs.

The government’s Disaster Risk Management Unit stated in its regular report that “the total number since the onset of events has risen to 1,873 martyrs and 9,134 injured.” It added, “The number of displaced people from areas under Israeli aggression has exceeded one million, including 155,600 registered in shelters.”

Israeli warplanes also launched a series of airstrikes on various areas in the Biqaa' region of eastern Lebanon on Tuesday afternoon. The strikes affected the vicinity of Baalbek and several towns in the region, including Laboue, Talia, Sareen, 'Ain Bourday, and Rasm Al-'Hadath, targeting some buildings and fields, resulting in significant material damage.

For days, Israel has been carrying out intense airstrikes on the southern suburb of Beirut and southern and eastern Lebanon, which are considered areas of influence for 'Hizbullah. The most severe of these strikes occurred last Friday, which killed 'Hizbullah’s Secretary-General 'Hasan Nasrullah.

In the meantime, Israeli media reported that four ballistic missiles were launched from Lebanon, landing off the coast of Netanya, north of Tel Aviv. Hezbollah announced yesterday that it had fired “Fadi 4” missiles at the “Galilout” base affiliated with military intelligence “8200,” and the Mossad headquarters in the suburbs of Tel Aviv, emphasizing that this is just the beginning.

Israeli emergency services reported that three people were injured, two of them with moderate injuries, due to the missile strikes in central Israel. Additionally, shrapnel from two missiles fell in Kfar Saba and the Eyal intersection in central Israel.

The Israeli occupation army announced last Monday (September 30) the start of a focused ground operation inside Lebanese territory for the first time since 2006.

Eight Israeli soldiers killed, three tanks destroyed by Resistance

By Al-Mayadeen English 2 Oct 2024 at 19:17 local Beirut time

The Israeli occupation admits the killing and wounding of several of its soldiers, particularly from the Egoz unit, as the Islamic Resistance confronts invading troops.

Israeli occupation forces admitted on Wednesday the deaths of eight occupation soldiers during confrontations with the Islamic Resistance fighters on the southern Lebanese border, including two captains.

According to Israeli Channel 12, the soldiers who were killed fell in two separate locations after being confronted by Resistance fighters at a close proximity.

Additionally, five other soldiers from the Egoz Commando Unit, including one officer, were wounded.

As the Islamic Resistance continues intensifying its operations against invading occupation forces, Israeli Army Radio revealed that a unit of the Commandos force encountered fighters inside a building in a Southern Lebanese village.

As an operation to evacuate the occupation soldiers was underway, Hezbollah fighters continued launching mortar shells. A medical evacuation unit was requested to treat wounded soldiers on the field.

On his part, Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in the South revealed that Israeli military reinforcements positioned in areas across 'Aita Al-Sha'b came under Hezbollah rocket fire.

'Hizbullah destroyed three Israeli tanks

According to a statement released by the Lebanese Resistance, Hezbollah fighters were able to destroy three Israeli Merkava tanks using guided missiles as they advanced on the southern Lebanese town of Maroun Al-Ras.

Commenting on the results of the confrontations that had been ongoing since this morning, a field source from the Lebanese Resistance told Al-Mayadeen, "The heroic epic which our fighters are conducting against Israeli elite forces at several axes in South Lebanon resulted in the killing and wounding of more than 80 soldiers and officers, with almost five tanks destroyed."

Briefing of some of Hezbollah's operations

In the same context, it was also announced that while an Israeli occupation unit was attempting to surround the town of Yaroun from its forest, Resistance fighters detonated an explosive device against it, confirming casualties in its ranks between killed and wounded.

Another statement released by the Islamic Resistance reported that its fighters were confronting occupation soldiers in the eastern region of the Southern Lebanese village of Maroun Al-Rass, injuring several, as clashes continue.

This comes after fighters from the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon successfully ambushed an Israeli infantry force attempting to infiltrate Lebanese territory through the village of Odaissa from the Khallet Al-Mahafir area on Wednesday dawn, Hezbollah confirmed.

Fierce confrontations ensued, forcing Israeli occupation forces to retreat after suffering casualties, according to the group's statement.

Israeli media announced that two soldiers were killed, including the commander of the Egoz unit, as well as 18 more wounded, during confrontations with Hezbollah at the border.

At least four occupation helicopters were sent to evacuate the casualties, as they, with the assistance of Israeli tanks, opened fire in the area to cover for the Israeli soldiers. However, they were met with intense artillery shelling by 'Hizbullah.

How did 'Hizbullah ensnare dozens of Israeli soldiers at the border?

By Al-Mayadeen English Source: Agencies

October 3, 2024, at 00:26 local Beirut time

The Israeli occupation forces are losing terribly at the occupied Palestinian-Lebanese border area, with Hezbollah dealing heavy blow after blow to the forces who cannot manage to invade.

The fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah carried out a meticulously planned ambush on an elite Israeli force in the Odeisseh region of South Lebanon, causing significant casualties among the Israeli soldiers, field sources in the Resistance told Al-Mayadeen on Wednesday morning.

According to the sources, Islamic Resistance fighters had been monitoring Israeli recon troops in the early hours of Tuesday as they moved through a non-open area across Al-'Udaysa. Despite detecting the enemy force, the Resistance fighters refrained from engaging them, allowing the Israeli reconnaissance mission to proceed and return unharmed, allowing them to carry out a more decisive strike later.

Based on the movements and behavior of the Israeli forces, the Resistance fighters prepared an advanced ambush in the Al-Ma'hafir/Al-'Udaysa region, the sources said. They picked a strategic location within a house in the area as their location of choice.

At dawn Wednesday, more than 30 Israeli soldiers and officers began a silent advance into the ambush zone. The Israeli force, unaware of the trap, moved closer to the Resistance’s position, the sources said. Once they were in the ambush zone, which was near the Lebanese-Israeli border, the Resistance fighters sprang into action, initiating the ambush with the phrase, "At your service, Nasrullah."

The ambush started with heavy gunfire and RPGs, with Resistance fighters engaging the Israeli soldiers at point-blank range. The intensity of the attack led to a number of casualties among the Israeli elite troops, whose cries and screams echoed throughout the area, according to the sources.

Tightening the noose

While the ambush was unfolding, a nearby support group from the Resistance targeted enemy supply lines to prevent reinforcements from reaching the ensnared Israeli force. This secondary operation struck the settlements of Misgav 'Aam, Kfar Gil'adi, and Metulla with artillery shells and rockets, further hindering any Israeli efforts to back up their forces.

As the situation deteriorated, the Israeli Air Force intervened, deploying helicopters to provide cover fire in the region and assist in the extraction of the casualties. In a desperate attempt to cover their retreat, the Israeli troops began using smoke grenades to obscure their movements and facilitate the recovery of their wounded soldiers, Al-Mayadeen's sources said.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 41,689 martyrs

Wednesday 2-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation army committed five massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring at least 212 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 51 martyrs and 161 wounded citizens were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 41,689 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 96,625 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7, 2023.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 362

Wednesday 2-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 362 on Wednesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and shelter centers and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

According to media sources, three civilians were martyred and dozens were injured in an Israeli artillery attack on Khuza’a town in eastern Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

The civil defense service said that its crews recovered bodies of 25 martyrs following an Israeli attack on displaced families sheltering in Muscat School in Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood and Al-Amal Institute for Orphans in Al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation army also bombed a house belonging to the family of Ghattas in Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood in the east of Gaza City, killing at least six people and injuring others.

Another Israeli airstrike on a house in Al-Sawar'ha town in central Gaza claimed the lives of eight civilians and injured others.

A girl child was reportedly killed when the Israeli army bombed Tabbat Al-Nuwairi area in central Gaza.

Last night, at least 51 Palestinian civilians were killed and many others were injured in a heinous massacre committed by the Israeli army in different neighborhoods of southern Khan Younus.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Occupation forces kill 90 people, injure dozens in Gaza

GAZA, October 2, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening shelled a house in Gaza City, killing a child and injuring two people and bringing the death toll in the Strip since dawn Wednesday to 90, including children and women, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The PRCS announced that a child was killed and two other civilians were injured when the occupation forces shelled a house of the Al-'Hilou family, near the Palestine Bank in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

It added that the fatality along with the casualties were transferred to the Ahli Arab Hospital (formerly known as the Baptist hospital) in the city.

Earlier today, 10 civilians were killed and 27 others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on Al-Nusayrat and Al-Buraij refugee camps in the central Strip.

Three civilians were also killed in raid on the destroyed town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Younus, in the southern Strip.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces committed a new massacre in Khan Younus, killing over 40 civilians, mostly women and children, and injuring dozens.

Medical sources reported that medical crews retrieved the bodies of fatalities from the rubble following intensive air strikes that targeted the southeastern areas of Khan Younis, including the neighborhoods of Ma'an, Qizan Al-Najjar, and Al-Manara.

In the morning hours today, nine civilians were killed and about 20 others were injured in Israeli aerial bombardment of a school and an orphanage housing displaced people in Gaza City.

Local sources said that the occupation aircrafts bombed the Muscat School, which housed displaced people in the Al-Zarqa area of Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood in Gaza City, killing three civilians and injuring 17 others.

Six more civilians were also killed and others were injured when the occupation forces bombed the Al-Amal Orphanage, which houses displaced people west of Gaza City.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 41,689 Palestinians and injuring 96,625 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

GMO: Israel wiped out 902 Gaza families, in 1,364 cases, all family members except for one survivor were killed, In 3,472 cases, only two members of the same family survived

Wednesday 2-October-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

In one year, 902 of the Palestinian families in Gaza have been wiped off the civil registry by the Israeli genocidal air strikes, the Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza said in a statement issued on Wednesday.

In 1,364 cases, all family members except for one survivor were killed, the GMO added.

In 3,472 cases, only two members of the same family survived.

“These massacres occur with the participation of several European and Western countries that supply the Israeli occupation with lethal and internationally prohibited weapons, such as the UK, Germany, France and others,” added the office.

It further urged the international community and all international organizations to pressure the US administration and the Israeli authorities to stop the genocide and halt the ongoing bloodshed.

Israel has continued its brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip following an attack by the Palestinian group, Hamas, on October 7, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.

Nearly 41,700 people have since been killed, mostly women and children, and over 96,200 others injured, according to local health authorities.

IOFs shut down several military checkpoints, obstruct movement of Palestinians in the West Bank

Wednesday 2-October-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) tightened their military measures on Wednesday at most of the entrances and exits of the governorates in the West Bank.

Local sources revealed that the IOF intensified its security measures around Ramallah, Al-Beerih, Al-Quds (occupation Jerusalem), Nablus, Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Aree'ha (Jericho) and Toubas, as the IOFs closed the 'Ain Siniya and 'Atara checkpoints, and continued to close the northern entrance of the city of Al-Beerih.

Meanwhile, the vicinity of the city of Jerusalem has witnessed traffic jam after police forces and soldiers at the Jabaa checkpoint north of Jerusalem stopped and searched long line of vehicles heading to the south. The IOFs also closed, in both directions, Al-Hamra checkpoint east of Nablus, connecting Nablus, Jericho and the Jordan Valley.

The sources affirmed that the IOF closed the areas of Ras Al-Joura, Sadat Al-Fa'hs and Al-Nashash in the Hebron governorate, while the northern entrance to Aree'ha (Jericho) and 'Innab checkpoint, south of Toulkarm remain closed.

The Al-Murabba’ and 'Awarta checkpoints around the city of Nablus also witnessed a stifling traffic jam caused by the occupation soldiers’ inspection of vehicles.

The IOFs closed the Tayaseer checkpoint east of Tubas city to the movement of citizens, in both directions, and prevented vehicles from reaching their workplaces in the northern Jordan Valley.

The Director of Education, 'Azmi Balawna, said that about 130 teachers were unable to reach the schools in the northern Jordan Valley, and about 800 male and female students, some of whom are from distant camps, did not attend schools because the education buses did not arrive to transport them to schools due to the Israeli occupation’s measures.

The Israeli occupation forces also closed the 'Atouf Gate southeast of Tubas to the movement of farmers.

ýThe Israeli occupation apartheid regime escalates its repressive measures and harasses citizens in the Old City of Al-Khaleel (Hebron)ý

ýAl-Khaleel (Hebron), October 2, 2024, Wafa -

Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces escalated their repressive measures against citizens, abusing a number of them, and imposing a curfew on several neighborhoods of the Old City of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).ý

ýActivist 'Aarif Jabir told Wafa that the occupation forces imposed a curfew around the clock that included the neighborhoods of Jabir, Al-Salayma and Wadi Al-'Husain, east of the Ibrahimi Mosque, and the occupation soldiers informed citizens that this measure will continue until next Sunday, until the end of the Jewish holidaysýý.ý

ýThe occupying forces also abused a number of young men, kidnapped and searched them, beat them and detained them for long hours.ý

ýMore than two months ago, the Israeli occupation forces completely isolated the three neighborhoods (Al-Salayma, Jabir and Wadi Al-'Husain) from the rest of the southern part of Hebron, and closed with barbed wire the entrances and exits of those neighborhoods that connect them with the rest of the cityýý.ý

ýIt is worth noting that more than 750 Palestinian families in the Old City of Hebron live in harsh and difficult living conditions, as a result of a series of escalating oppressive and racist measures imposed by the Israeli occupation forces, in addition to the continuous attacks of the settlers on themýý.ý

ýSince the seventh of October 2023, approximately 11 neighborhoods of the Old City have been subject to curfews in the evening hours, preventing citizens from leaving their homes, in addition to the daily harassment of citizens by the occupation soldiers and groups of armed settlersýý.ý

Yemen’s armed forces claim targeting Israeli sites with cruise missiles

Wednesday 2-October-2024

SANA’A, (PIC)

Yemen’s army spokesman Ye'hya Saree' said on Wednesday that his country fired three cruise missiles that targeted the heart of the Israeli occupation state in support of both the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.

In a communiqué, Saree' applauded Iran’s missile counterattack on Israel on Tuesday night and vowed to widen Yemen’s operations against “the Israeli enemy or those backing them until the war on Gaza and Lebanon comes to a halt.”

On Tuesday, spokesman Saree' said that Yemen’s armed forces had launched multiple attacks targeting two ships traveling off the Yemeni coast.

The spokesman said the first operation targeted the British oil ship “Cordelia Moon” in the Red Sea, using eight ballistic and cruise missiles, one drone and one unmanned boat.

He added that the operation “severely damaged” the ship, according to Yemen’s Al-Masirah satellite channel.

“The second operation targeted the ship “Marathopolis” in the Indian Ocean with a cruise missile, and the third operation targeted the same ship again in the Arabian Sea,” he said.

Since last November, Yemen’s armed forces and Ansarullah group started to launch anti-ship missiles and drones targeting what they said were Israeli-linked ships transiting the Red Sea in particular to show solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza, which has been under relentless Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023.

Al-Resheq: Israel wants Guterres to be its mouthpiece and puppet

Wednesday 2-October-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

Senior Hamas official 'Izzat Al-Resheq said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation government wants to make UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres its mouthpiece and a puppet that moves according to its agendas.

“The Israeli occupation’s foreign ministry wants UN secretary-general [Antonio] Guterres to be a spokesperson for its aggression and terrorism and a marionette that moves according to its bloodthirsty agenda,” Resheq said in press remarks on Wednesday.

“It is a disgrace for the international community to allow this rogue entity, which violates all international norms, values and laws and regulations, to keep its chair at the United Nations and its institutions,” Al-Resheq emphasized.

Israel’s foreign minister has declared UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres “persona non grata” and barred him from entering Israeli areas and the occupied territories.

Israeli foreign minister Israel Katz on Wednesday accused Guterres of failing to “unequivocally” condemn Iran’s missile attack on Israel.

“Anyone who cannot unequivocally condemn Iran’s heinous attack on Israel, as almost every country in the world has done, does not deserve to step foot on Israeli soil,” Katz wrote on X.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
